Doheny's Water Warehouse Never again

I ordered from the catalog over the phone June 7th. I ordered a liner and skimmer and was told the liner would take 5 days since it was coming from the warehouse. I was told it would probably be at the house by Monday at the latest. Wheb it didn;t show up on Friday I thought, ok Monday. Never happened, so I called and asked for a tracking number. I was told they wouldn't do a tracking number until Tuesday and that it would have been 5-7 dayss which was later than planned but doable. I had workers ready to install a liner on Thursday and water ordered for that day. Tuesday when I called they told me the warehouse was closed and would have to call back on Weds. They called Weds. to say there was a problem with the fax and the company never received my order. I was left to scramble around and find a liner to fit our pool and able to be delivered by Thursday. This now cost me an additional $240 to put out. With a graduation party in 2 weeks this was way beyond our budget but needed to be done. When I called to cancel the order and return the skimmer since it didn't fit I was told I would ONLY be charged to ship the skimmer back. Guess again - as I had been the one to find out the liner was never coming due to my constant calling I told them they would send a pick up slip. They have had my money for 2 weeks, nate the supervisor I spoke to on Monday never put the credit in until Wednesday - 2 more days without this $$. The pick up slip location was not given to fed Ex and had someone not been home at our house the Fed Ex person would not have known where to pick up the skimmer being returned.

Very lousy customer service - if you order from them you better be prepared to track your order every day, every step of the way. I have no idea when someone would have realized these orders weren't going through.

Never again - Doheny's leaves you at the bottom of a scummy pool!

Doheny's Water Warehouse Satisfaction NOT Guaranteed

We purchased the deluxe solar cover reel system. It has been pain in the butt ever since we've tried to use it. The handle keep falling apart from the wheel. The wheel bearings then come apart, too. When we try to pull the cover overthe pool, it falls off the holders and rolls away somtimes into the pool. Also, the middle sags so low when the cover is all the way on that it drags on the ground. The worst part is that Doheny's would not let us return it or refund us. In fact, they offered NO compensation. We have taken a 200 dollar loss. TERRIBLE customer service. They say satisfaction guaranteed. NOT TRUE!

This business is a joke. I have been fighting with them over three months about a rotten winter cover. They want me to buy a new one from them and are stating they cant do a refund due to the length of time I had the cover. TWO years out of a FiVE year warranty. They are rip offs . I used to order all my pool supplies from them and didn't even complain when the pool pillow they sent had a hole in it. I am so OVER them and can't believe their warranty system. They are scammers and very very polite in their refusal to make anything they sell "right'. I have learned my lesson and will never spend a dime at this place!

I ordered pool supplies and chemicals. But this time the Zeosand was damaged. I contacted customer service right away and was assured that I would be issued credit. But it has been 2 weeks and still no credit back on my card. FEDEX processed the claim for the damage, so why can't I get the refund due?

I understand your frustration with Doheny's. I've ordered items multiple times from Doheny's. The chemicals seem to get shipped and arrive without issue every time. However, whenever I seem to order anything else that comes from their Wisconsin warehouse, the wrong or broken items arrive. On two separate occasions which were months apart from each other, I have called to get incorrect or broken items reshipped and both times the representative never put the re-order back through the system. This is very frustrating and not worth the time and hassle associated with ordering from them. I think I will go back to the local pool supply store from now on. It will cost a little more money, but will save the hassle of dealing with Doheny's.
