Retro Fitness Corporate,
I am writing this letter to notify you about the deplorable conditions at one of your locations. I've been a member here for sometime now and the conditions have gotten steadily worse over time. Below, I have attached just a few of the photographs that I took the other day. I have emailed and expressed my concerns, but they have gone on answered.
Cleanliness of the facility is sickening. The amount of dust above the machines is unacceptable.
We are working out and breathing heavy with this muck in the air.
The bathrooms and locker room area is also unclean.
The cleaning wipes dispensers have been empty for months but they do have paper towels and some spray bottles around the gym.
When something breaks it is broken for a very long time. The tanning beds have been out of water for months and the Wi-Fi is not work.
The people at the desk are very nice but they don't do much of anything except chat and play on their phones.
I like this gym because as a businessman a lot of my clients are also members so it is beneficial for me to see them on a personal level as well as a professional one.
As you can see by your membership a lot of people have left the gym due to the conditions and many people that I speak to are planning on following suit.
If you search the ZIP Code that I am in, 07110, you can see that there are multiple workout facilities in my area, one of which is in walking distance from my home.
I know that the people who own this franchise also on several others in the area which is probably why they feel they can get away with whatever they want.
We have even asked for a new Specific machine and were ignored. Our request was never even responded to.
I have visited several other of your locations and have never seen conditions in this bad.
So Denteley one of the nicest and cleanest locations that I have been to The location in Eatontown New Jersey.
I would hope that you would take this issue seriously because it is a serious issue.
