Republic Services Management in Baton Rouge,La.on Leisure Street

This is a very serious issue concerning personal information about this company and how they operate in business. I am on the outside looking in and its horrible how people are being promoted by Mrs. Sharon Mann based upon friendships! I know men that have worked there for years and or constantly been looked over because they are not willing to be a part of the in crowd, so they make it hard for them to work there! not to mention all of the people who are in management that are sleeping with each other! They work in bad working vehicles, and they are reprimanded for being late with pickups when the trucks do not work and are always breaking down! I love my work environment because my Leaders care about us!

Desired outcome: I expect that these issues will be looked into and investigated for validityThat people that has worked to uphold this company be recognized and promoted before they all quit

Republic Services Trash pickup

Republic services missed picking my trash up and my neighbors again. This happens too often. We call and report, always told they will get next day. But then they don’t come. I don’t think,this is the way to run a company. I can understand it happening, but when we call and they say it will be picked up, they still don’t come. Please don’t tell me you will,pick,up then not do it.

Desired outcome: Pick up our trash every Wednesday as the schedule states. We pay for this service

Republic Services Trash pickup

Since Republic Services as acquired River City Disposal our trash doesn't get picked up. The trash was not pickup up at all the first week. I had to call 3 times the 2nd week to get it picked up. The 3rd call I was stuck on the phone for 20 minutes with customer service trying to get the problem straightened out. And once again last week I had to call again to get out trash picked up. Republic Services called and let us know our pick up day is being changed from Tuesday's to Wednesday's starting this week. So hopefully our trash will be picked up. The other frustrating problem with Republic Service is that I can not pay my bill online. I have been trying for a week. Finally got system to accept my address, but then it needed an account # Only # I had was the # on my River City Disposal invoice. Called customer service and got the new account # and now the system wants an invoice # to link my account. This is the biggest screwed up mess I have ever had to deal with. Please sell the company back to the River City Disposal owners. It is very obvious that your company can not handle the additional customers.

Desired outcome: Sell the company back to the original owners

Republic Services Weekly pickup

I purchased service for 105 North Drive Fayetteville, Ga. 30214, on 11/20/2018 and upgraded to two carts on 1/20/2019, I've maintained services continuously with all applicable charges and fees, I received an invoice on 12/20/2021 stating that my payment would be due on 1/20/2022, I paid 93.36 on 1/19/2022, received a notice 2/20/2022 stating that I was due a refund of 31.12 which I thought was just a mistake. with no prior notice my service was terminated on 2/28/2022 and I only found out because they removed my carts when they picked up my trash. After several calls to find out what was going on, the only thing I was told was that they no longer serviced my area to which I requested the reasons why I did not receive advanced notice and why would they take my payment for services they did not intend to honor. I am now looking in to all of my options to be made whole due to the highly unethical way this situation was performed, in such as I was made to pay for two carts and another quarter I am requesting a refund of the complete quarter and the cost of the two cart I purchased.

Republic Services Acquiring container bins

I recently moved from California to Peachtree City, Georgia where I purchased a home. I signed papers and received my keys on Feb 4th. I called Republic Services to place account in my name and request bins for trash pickup. It is now Feb 28th (24 days later) and I still have not received any bins.

I have placed at least 8 calls and each rep was friendly and helpful in trying to resolve this issue with all due diligence.. I was told by each rep that they were sending a message and placing this issue on the Expedite List. However, NO BINS YET. Imagine the amount of trash one has after when moving from another state, unpacking boxes, and just daily living.

Unacceptable

Republic Services Billing and all around horrible service.

Last year in February 2021 my trash bill came due. I oaid for the entire year. Then in Feb 2022 by bill for the year came due. I called and asked if I could switch it to paying quarterly. The lady said of course and went about taking my payment for the next 3 months and said, ok your next bill will be due in May. Well I just got a bill (mind you its only Feb 24th) for $21.10 due on March 5th? I just called and asked what was going on. The lady said I never paid for January? Im so confused. And honestly feel as though im being ripped off. How do I owe ANY $ just a coue weeks after I just paid up service for the next 3 months? And if I didn't pay for January (which is impossible seeing how I paid for the entire year of 2021 from Feb to Feb) then why when I called to pay my bill a couple weeks ago did the lady not say anything? Im calling the better business bureau. I've NEVER seen a company with nothing but bad reviews. This all seems very suspect to me and how dare they (the employees) act as though im bothering them when I question where my money is.

Desired outcome: To have all my money refunded for this last payment I made a couple weeks ago. The one that was told to me paid me up for 3 months worth of service which would've made my next payment due in May 2022

Republic Services Overcharging and No Refund

Recently we had a very unprofessional and frustrating service issue with Republic, which prompted me to look into other trash pick-up options. In doing so, I discovered that we had been egregiously overbilled by Republic Services for years. When I called to cancel service and request a refund for the overbilling, I was transferred to an escalation specialist who informed me that the $80 charged for container pickup could be deducted from the refund but that she would need to talk to her superior and that they would call me back. For two weeks, I heard nothing so I called again. Again, I was told that I would receive a call. The next month I received a bill for $80 from Republic. I contacted them, yet again, to discuss the charge and a refund for overbilling. This has gone on for over 5 months now and Republic Services (outside of customer reps who have recognized and opened a file on our behalf of our issue) has never reached out to resolve the matter. It's infuriating that they can continue to bill and bully but they won't take responsibility on their end for egregious mistakes to loyal and paying customers.

Desired outcome: I expect that Republic Services would conduct good business practices and resolve this issue by providing a refund without me having to continue to fight on my family's behalf for money we are owed.

Republic Services The garbage men don’t show yo

Horrible service. Customer service team has zero power to actually help. The garbage men never pick up the trash! First I was told my pick up is on Wednesdays when Wednesday pick up never came I was told it was on Saturdays when Saturday pick up never came I was told it was Monday or Tuesday when Monday or Tuesday never came I was told Friday. The truth is is they come when they feel like it. The average is once every three weeks and only if you call six times. I have complained to five different customer service representatives. Nothing changes. Check other reviews sites - people complaining they are unprofessional and don't pick up garbage on time, EVER. It's all over the Internet. Notice how they don't allow anyone to review them on Facebook. People literally have to complain in the comments of their photos where Republic Services tries to boast their company. Use anyone else. Don't use republic services.

Desired outcome: Come pick up the trash every week like you’re supposed to!

Republic Services Garbage pickup refund

As everyone knows, the company went on strike on December 2021. I called and left messages and I sent emails through December and January 2022. I asked for pickups. I was ignored. In Early January I removed the autopay option from my account. The next day, Republic did an automatic without authorization. I disputed the charge. My credit card company said they contacted Republic and Repiblic told them all services had been provided. The Credit card company paid Republic.

Desired outcome: Full refund of January- February 2022 charges. Partial refund of December 2021 charges.

Republic Services Republic Waste not picking up trash.

Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio.

7399 Goldenrod Ave.

Our sister-in-law lived at the above address. She passed away on November 1st. My wife was named executor of her estate.

Before we started cleaning house, wife called Republic to make sure they would take furniture and large items. Trash was put out for January 11th pickup. Nothing was taken. January 18th. Still there. Wife called Republic. Was told it would be picked up on a "special "run. January 25th still there. Now buried under a foot and a half of snow. Wife called Republic again. Was told could not pick up. Trash buried in snow. Nevermind the previous two weeks it wasn't. We want to cancel contract with Republic as we are selling house. Republic assured my wife that the trash would be picked up. Not only was it not picked up but the driver walked all the way down the driveway to confiscate the trash cans. Funny how he could get out of the truck for that but tossing trash in the truck was evidently too much. We have dug the snow away from the trash but still no pickup. Now we have a house for sale with a big pile of trash in front of it.

Considering lawsuit against Republic for breach of contract if this is not quickly resolved. I'm retired and have all the time in the world to pursue this.

Desired outcome: Fulfill the contract and pick up the frigging trash that has sat out there for 5 weeks

Republic Services Recycling

We live on a semi-busy road with a “hidden driveway”. It is dangerous to stop in the middle of the road and get out and our cans were emptied (at least partially because one of them was still half full and some of the recycling was dumped in the ditch on this side of the road) but, what was really aggravating is that our cans almost look like they were intentionally left separated at points in our extra wide driveway not allowing anyone to pull in. Again, stopping and getting out on our road is not safe. Please address.

Desired outcome: Put our cans back where we left them for you which is on the side of our driveway not blocking anyone from pulling in or pulling out.

Republic Services Driver running over my wood

My name is Glen Williams. and I make tables out of reclaimed wood. I make the tables to sell . I can't go to the store and buy it and it's not easy to find the wood that I had for my next table your driver busted it up and scattered it into the alley .if he would have stopped he might have broke a couple of pieces but he didn't he busted all of it there's no way he didn't know he was running over it. I had it stacked so there is plenty of room for people to pull in and out and more than enough room for your truck. I know I used to park a truck here bigger than the one ya'll use. now it might be junk wood to most people but not to me I make really nice tables. and I need the extra income

Republic Services Miss pickups no credit on my account

I've been with them 10 years. In the last 3 months they miss picking up two of my cans over seven times. I have called in over 15 times to complain I've emailed them over seven times to complain every time requesting a manager call me back and I've left my phone number at every junction. I had a manager call me over a month ago same for sure they would take care of me and let me take my hundred plus bags down to their transfer station which is less than 2 miles from my home. All of a sudden he didn't return my calls anymore. Today I call in being a little bit more than upset receiving a cancellation of service notice for not paying my bill and they said OG that stuff was over a couple months ago we can't credit your account. I told them just like the other 30 plus out of 60 of us on this county Island to come pick up your cans we will switch to waste management. This company is a bunch of liars simple as that

Desired outcome: All I asked for was at least one month's credit on my bill which would cover the $45 I paid to have my debris removed from my property. I have two cans

Republic Services Missed trash pick ups

Our trash at 43 Cedar Hill Farm Ln Westover Al 35147 has not been picked up since Dec 29, 2021. I started calling on Jan 10, 2022 and every day since to find out why our trash was not picked up. I have been told every day the same thing about how sorry you are
that you will escalate my request and it will be picked up the next day. It is now Jan 8, 2022 and still our trash has not been picked up as promised. I also tried to get the President/ CEO Jon V Ark information on the internet hoping he might be able to take care of this situation. There is no way to reach him. Email and phone number are unavailable. Please tell me what we are supposed to do in this situation.

Missed pickups for over 2 weeks. I have called every day since Jan 10, 2022 and get the same answer each time. They are sorry and will make sure my trash is picked up tomorrow; It is now Jan 8, 2022 and still no pickup. Last pick up Dec 29, 2021.
There are four other trash cans that have not been picked up either.
What are we supposed to do?

Republic Services Recycle disposal

I called 3 times stating that my recycle garbage was not picked up and they rescheduled twice, but did not comply… I'm a new customer, previously with Ace Waste Disposal and they always fulfilled their obligation if a miss pickup by rescheduling or compensate on my bill, if this is not resolved on my behalf, I will have to go back to Ace Waste Disposal, so I must see a compensation on my next bill for a service I'm paying for, a miss pickup, which was ignored multiple times… you can reach myself at [protected]. Republic Services Tree vs. trash pick up

One of the three Republic trunks that come to our property regularly smashes into a large tree between sidewalk and street. We try very hard to maintain this tree and had it pruned last summer. The tree's health will suffer if this continues.
The tree is very easy to see, and the treatment seems deliberate. This site won't allow a photo from my phone, but currently a large brach is hanging over the street nearly cut from the tree. It will fall on a car or pedestrian if we don't clear it. This has been an ongoing challenge.

Desired outcome: Avoid ramming the tree.

Republic Services Trash not collected

Once again, after receiving a personal reassurance from a high level operations manager, my trash remains uncollected as of 6:30 et Friday, 1/7. After experiencing several instances where my trash was not collected for a full week despite multiple promises from customer service that they would be there the following day, I told them to come get my trash and take the can with them. When they never showed up, I called again and was told that my service was cancelled and that they would be at my house on the 10th to get the container. I told them not only would they not get their container, I would not pay the final invoice. A few days later, after filing a written complaint, I received a call from a high level operations manager. After explaining the apathy of their customer service personnel, he apologized and personally promised me they would pick up my trash today. As expected, they did not show up and I have to lug three weeks of trash around to the side of my house to get it out of my neighbors eyesite, and figure out a way to dispose of it myself. I have never been treated with more apathy, and been flat out lied to, than has occurred with Republic Services.

Republic Services Garbage and recycling pick up

We pay for recycling and garbage and we have been good customers for many years. We wait approx. 4 weeks for our recycling pick up. Dec 30 they missed pick up. I've called four times and rescheduled recycle pick up and no show. It's been 2 wks and overflowing at streetside. Last 2 times I called I asked for discount on our bill. Found out yesterday that they have $3 discount 2 calls ago and $4 discount yesterday which is a complete insult for my inconvenience. We prepay for three months service. I found Watermans service which will save us $30 quarterly. I called republic for immediate stop of service and asked for refund of remaining weeks prepaid. Refused to give refund of my money and told they won't close account for another 3 weeks so we are forced to use them since we already paid. I made 2 calls today to stop service, put on hold to talk to manager over 15 min. Called back and got sales manager and half way thru our problem in discussion they disconnected me. Very unprofessional and incompetent service. After 6 calls, 4 different pick up dates, my recycling is still waiting. I think it's a scam to keep people's money if customers unhappy and asking to stop service.

Desired outcome: Stop service immediately and get refund for time not serviced or Stop service after my money's used up

Republic Services Residential Waste Pickup

Its been 3 weeks since Republic Services has been down our area to pick up Scheduled household waste pickup. I have contacted the local Republic Services representatives (Warrensburg MO) on 3 occasions and each time I express my concern about the no-show trash pickup I get told that they have truck in the area and the trash will get picked up or on the last call it was on our scheduled pickup date and I was told they would be there to pick up. 3 Weeks later i have trash piled up along the road because it will not fit into the 2 full trash cans and I have raccoons, coyotes or stray dogs getting into my trash and i keep having to rebag everything. I also had trouble with them last month (Nov 2021) where they did not show up for 2 weeks and I still got charged for a full month of service that I didn't receive. My neighbors have called Republic Services as well to express their concerns and its obvious they don't care and cannot provide a service as promised.

Desired outcome: Provide a service you are getting paid for-Pick up trash as scheduled
