Remington Hair straightener exploded + blew out fuse in house

I was using a Remington hair straightener this week after owning it for 4 months. I exploded, sending a blue spark into the air, and another spark hit my skin, burned me, and melted my apple watch band. If it had hit my eye it could have been extremely dangerous, if not blinding.

The watch band is completely ruined and the burn has now healed but it took several days. There is scarring on my arm from this incident.

I am horrified and am demanding Remington resolve this problem

Desired outcome: Full refund for the product plus money due for distress, a new Apple Watch band, and burns.

Remington Remington hydraluxe pro straightener s9001

Hello

On March 24, I bought the Remington Hydraluxe Pro Straightener S9001.

On March 25, I replace it with another because that first did not come out steam at all. (Water tank was full. I turned on the steam indicator of course.)

Another one flat iron worked for 3min in the store and they said it is ok, and sent me home with it.

At home flat iron worked with a steam for 5 minutes, than another 5 minutes the steam won't come out, than it worked (the steam) for 10 minutes, then again not and so on. Water tank was full. I turned on the steam indicator of course. It worked like regular iron flat without steam. But I paid it 130euros.

I am so disappointed with this serie Remington iron flat.

I have another remington flat iron for 3 years and Remington hairdryer and they are great. This Hydraluxe Pro Straightener S9001 is big miss.

Today I will return it in the store and ask for my money back.

I hope it won't be a problem with the refund because I'm already quite mistreated with all this returning.

Remington Hair straighteners

I was using Remington hair straighteners when I heard a buzzing noise.Then suddenly a loud exploding noise came and the straighteners were on fire.
Some of my hair got burnt but luckily the flame went out.
It really frightened me and now I don't have any straighteners.

Desired outcome: I would like a new set of straighteners

Remington Order for ultimate series rx5 head shaver xr1500 - ukrem36499

I ordered the product Ultimate Series RX5 Head Shaver XR1500 (UKREM36499) on 3rd April 2020, order status only says Accepted.

It is now 20th April since sending 5 emails to [protected]@remington.co.uk I have not been updated or contacted about the order made 17 days ago.

I do not find this acceptable and I would like an update or refund as soon as possible.

Remington F4 style electric razor

I was given as a Christmas present a new F4 Style razor. When I opened the package the cleaning brush was missing.

I have attempted to get your customer services to send me the missing brush, but they have not dealt with my request properly. I now thus have to make a formal complaint. I hope that you will now resolve this and supply the missing brush.

Query: I was given an F4 shaver as a Christmas present. I have owned many Remington products and still have and use 5 others. They have all been very good and very reliable. This F4 without doubt is the very best shaver you have made; it shaves so close. However, when I opened the package I found that the cleaning brush was missing from the package. The package was all well sealed and clearly had not been opened; so the brush must have been omitted when it was packed. Other than that everything is excellent. Remington ilight pro

I bought my iPro Light less than a year ago, used it thrice, changed the light cartridge when it indicated the need and that's it- it doesn't work! Even with the new cartridge. I've followed the steps diligently but this just keeps beeping and flashing! This is really disappointing from a brand I've trusted for years and I would like to be refunded

Remington remington silk hair straighteners

Bought these straighteners a few months back however, First time using them this afternoon and no longer have the receipt from Argos. I had them on 190C and waited for them to heat up. Within 10 seconds of me picking them up and straightening my hair, they exploded near my face! There was a massive golden spark (so close to my skin) and then started smoking badly. I immediately ran outside and discarded in case they set on fire. I'm Now suffering badly from earache due to the explosion happening near my face!

The very same thing happened to my daughter. Sparks and smoke. Needless to say we binned it, but this product should be recalled.

Remington dangerous product

I purchased a Remington signature series blow dryer. It is purple and green and worked for a month maybe two. But I plugged it in to use it and it blew up or something! Started making a horrible noise, and smoking and had a horrible burnt smell! It was scary ! I unplugged it as quick as I could because I do not doubt this product going up in flames in my hand ! Terrible product!

Remington beware

My wife gave me money to buy myself a Christmas gift. I bought a Remington Titanium electric razor expecting to get the nice, smooth shave the actor on the TV advertisements gets.

But instead of getting a nice, smooth shave, mine painfully yanked every hair out by the roots.

I couldn't get my refund because I didn't save the original packaging and receipt.

I bought another one and it yanked my hair out too. I appealed to Remington and they said there was nothing they could do.

I think Remington owes me an apology for my inconvenience and a refund.

Remington lousy electric shavers

Got the Remington Titanic shaver for Christmas; it pulled hair rather than cut it. It hurt so much the razor was unusable. I had thrown the packaging away and never did get the receipt.

I had an electric razor back in the 60's and loved it but when it got stolen I went back to a regular razor. But my gift giver gave me the electric razor bug and I decided to switch and bought another - it did the same thing.

I complained to Remington who was no help getting me a refund; I think they owe me one - original packaging, receipt or not.

I have had this blow dryer for about 1 1/2 years. This morning, while I was using it, it started fire where the cord connects to the unit and burned my wrist.
