Regions Financial rude customer service

Regions sends out online payments that are scheduled to go out on another date when it overdraws your account because they send it out on the wrong date they charge you overdraft. They try and convince you it is your fault when they sent it out on the wrong date as if they say it so its true. The phone customer service are rude you spend hours of being hung up on transferred and they will not even listen to your side or look at the proff. Try and close a account still working on trying to do that failed on our first try my husband is going to try next time.

Same thing happened to me. We had been having the utilities drafted every month after our social security checks were deposited and all of a sudden they were posted on the 1st of the month and all of them bounced.

Regions Financial account theft

My bank, Regions, charged me 140 dollars of NSF fees 10/19, for overdrawn items, that weren't overdrawn. They acknowledged that they weren't overdrawn, and they would not refund the fees or make the correction despite the evidence that the account was never overdrawn. After 2 hours of discussion on 10/20, they agreed to refund 50 percent of the fees($70). I agreed even though I was still out 70 for bogus fees. When I checked my account today 10/21, and they only refunded 25 percent($35). When I called to find out why they changed the amount, they informed me that I wasn't entitled to a refund and I was "lucky" to get the $35 back.

Regions stole 140 dollars from me and when asked about it.. acknowledged the theft, and refused to return the funds and claimed that it wasn't a bank error. I asked for documentation to support that it wasn't a 'bank error' and was first denied the documentation.. then after some discussion.. I was read a paragraph via the telephone, in which stated that the bank was allowed to charge an NSF for funds paid when funds in the account did not cover the item.

When I pointed out again that funds had been available in the account to cover said items.. I was told that there was nothing that could be done, and I would not receive a refund, as the "system" does not allow it. So I went from 70 refund, to 35 refund, to no refund. They took the 35 they HAD given me back and charged my account for it.

As i told them, if i -had- over drafted my account fine, I'd pay the fees, expect I hadn't. I wasn't even close. First millions of dollars from the president, then increased interest rates and fees for CC, and now banks are going after individual funds from account holders.. what's next?

I am with you. They are always doing something that is crooked and you can be sure that we the customer is going to be the ones that come out on the bad end. I am not through with them yet. They stole 800.00 dollars from me and you can also bet that I am going to get it back.

FRAUDULENT FEES @ REGIONS BANK !

Regions changed my savings account to one with a $4.00/month charge without my knowledge ... and then only refunded 2 months of fees they had charged me. Not worth the legal hassle for me... but theres some underhanded things going on here. They then claimed I had been moved to another type of account... no way to identify which employee had done this or why.

I was charged 700.00 in overdraft fees, i have been overdraft before and paid my fee, , but this is ridiculous. I went to my local branch in Fayetteville, AR and was told they couldn't do anything since my acct. was opened in Jonesboro, AR(the other side of the state) and I had to talk to them. We are part of the international group that was swindled by the Dennis Bolze family, the devastation it has caused deserves some action from the regularity bodies.

On behalf of the one hundred or so victims in the Dennis Bolze fraud case we would very much like to hear from anyone out there that thinks they can help get us a fair outcome to this distressing situation

It appears that banks (Regions finance etc) gave out million of dollars to the Bolzes even though they had no legal income! How could this be allowed to happen in a country like the USA. The Court has just given Regions Bank the house even though it was built with our money!

Bolze was on probation for tax fraud so we must wonder HOW, &what kind of deal he put together to encourage a large Bank to loan the Bolze family these vast sums of money ?

I was unaware that my account was overdrawn due to the overdraft feature that was automatically included in my agreement. Additionally, I was unaware of how the service worked, which allowed me to continue using my debit card, unaware that I was overdrawn and racking up fees. Within a matter of 2 wks Regions assessed me $1085 in overdraft fees before I was aware that I was overdrawn.

I spoke with 4 individuals, including supervisors and bank managers, who not only refused to help but showed no sympathy or empathy whatsoever. We have been with the same bank for almost 30 yrs and this is has never happened before. This is the gratitude we get. They refuse to refund EVEN ONE OF THE FEES!

Use a local bank or BEWARE!

After taking a 20.00 charge out of my account that I did not authorize, they took me for 270.00 in overdraft charges. I do not have a job right now and I'm drawing my unemployment. The money they took form me is more than the amount I get for 2 weeks of employment. Is ther anyone that can do something about this? I know a lot of other people that are having these same problems with them. Are they just allowed to do this to people and there is no recourse? If this is not unfair business practices I don't know what is.

I had applied for a home equity loan to make improvements to my home which included vinyl siding and a new roof. The bank sent someone out to take a couple of pictures. The loan was turned down because the bank said the roof was just roofing paper and the outside was in bad condition. I tried to explain to them that the roof was a tin type roof not paper and that I had been scraping the old paint off the outside. Well I was stilled turned down. After several calls I was offered and unsecure loan and a secured loan using MY savings account. This is not acceptable! I have been a loyal customer for many years and I have a very good credit score. I am very dissatisfied with Regions Bank and will look for another bank for my banking needs.

I have been loyal to regions for years but now i am giving up number one come to yall for home loan your home loan lady never gets paperwork done thats ok wells fargo got that 149, 000 loan done for me now a year later i come back to regions an ask for help again an do all the paperwork that the bank ask of me call for a week an got told the lady was busy left my

home phone an work number never got a call thats ok trustmark loan me the funds to make home repairs i will be changeing banks and why is theres only two tellers working at the branch on 40th ave in hattiesburg

I just want to know if there is any class action lawsuits being filed in Alabama against Regions Bank and its unethical business practices with their outrageous fees, etc.

If not - it seems as if there should be something that can be done on behalf of the thousands of people that hvae been victims.

The problem is that I had overdraft protection.. I was in vacation in another country and apparently I went on overdraft.. I had a debit card and a savings/checking account with them, But somehow I went on overdraft (I don't know how) Since the debit card was linked to my checking account and I had money in my savings account, I went on overdraft and instead of cover the overdraft with money from my savings (As the overdraft protection says) they just went ahead and were charging me $33 dollars everyday and made me paid over $300 dollars for their mistake.. I have proof that they stole my money.. Should I go ahead and sue them?

Same thing happened with my sister. She stayed with Regions longer than I did because they conned her into their "overdraft protection, " telling her they will just use the money in her savings to cover any overages in her checking account. Low and behold, when that did finally happen, they popped her with multiple NSF charges and didn't notify her for over a week (they send overdraft notifications via snail mail so you will be sure to rack up over $500 in NSF charges before you know what is going on). They never attempted to use the funds in her savings account to cover the checking account activity like they had agreed to do. That was the last time Regions took her...we both do our banking elsewhere now.

Regions has taken me and my sister several times each for $500-$700 each time in overdraft fees which were not our fault (fraudulent charge on our debit checkcards we didn't know about, and not crediting our deposits within the stated time frame). We were told no one had the "authority" to help us. After much trouble, we finally reached someone who credited us a mere $100 of the $500-$700 charges, like they were doing us a favor. Evidently, Regions expects us to monitor our accounts every hour of everyday as they are not willing to take responsibility for the continued NSF transactions that occur following one of their mistakes.

Needless to say, we both bank elsewhere.

The bank doesn't examine your house and guess a value. Someone who is licensed and trained in obtaining home values viewed your home and made the determination of your home value based on what he saw. The bank would be foolish to lend money on collateral that's been deemed uncollectible. Would you loan someone $15, 000 for a car that was only worth $10, 000?

Regions Financial over draft fees

I viewed my online account with regions Bank to get my bank account balance. I've seen that an unexpeced charge that hit my account that make two debit drafts transactions in the negitive. Ok, I know there will be a fee at $35.00 a pop which total at $105.00. The unexpected charge was placed back into my account due to error draft made by another company I retained service from but had cancelled.

I reviewed my account and seen that they made my account in the red of $195.00. They added an extra $72.76 of return fees even thoe
there were money in my account to cover the drafts. I went to my local Regions Bank to see what is going on. GET THIS! I was told that since the transaction was pending process they also got hit for return fees. Even after I shown her my printout bank transactions online that all she says was pending did clear a day earlier before this all happened. She said, what it shows me online don't reflect actual transaction. WHAT? You mean that my account view online with this Bank is giving me false information. I'm sure my money didn't disappear.

This bank will disregard your tansactions date and place NSF fee first to put you in the red (negitive) and make as much as they can on you.

Regions Financial ripping me off over and over... over.. over

regions has repeatedly applied overdraft fees that i dont deserve. then they tell me they can take them off if i fill out a form for visa overdraft protection. i'm tired of going to the bank again and again just becuase they're crooked. right now they have three more unfair fees at 35.00 each. cost me 245.00 total last week. any islams out they that needs a new protege'. serious!

Sue the Bank ever chance you get, if 10, 000 would file law suits just in small claims court, that would do it, they would stop, its all about money, lets stop them. We need a club, every one agree to sue for all charges, this would stop it.

I just don't understand why you let them do this to you!
Stop them, close the account and than sue them for the money back. You can sue them your self in small claims court. They will give the money back. Or there are plenty of attorneys who will take your case and win, courts have been finding them gulity of excessive fees for a while now. Judges are getting tired of banks out right stealing from customers, just like the fraud to paid largest item first, so they can charge for all the small items, what a scam.
they all do this. It just this simple, banks have computer programed to pick up on people who have no money and they are able to hold deposits, checks and create charges to steal from you.
It won't stop till the State Attorney starts putting some of the managers and directors in jail for fraud. The state attorneys seem to be in left field when it comes to banks stealing. So is the US Attorney, Wachovia just got caught Laundring money for Terrorist Organization, did they go to jail (NO) just paid millions in fines, you and I would go to jail. In closing I sue a bank ever chance I get, its fun, I love it.

Regions Financial notarized lien release letter

I recieived a lien release letter from your bank on a vehicle we paid off.
However, the state of Missouri requires it to be notarized. I have called 5 times since July, 20th and still have not received a faxed or original copy. I called again this morning, same thing 24 to 48 hours. I need it now. Please help.

bought Harley CLEARLY PAIDF OFF since I was given the title. been battling SIX MONTHS to get a verified llien satisfied letter just to gety registered. the "policy" is to only deal with the original loan recipient. thst great but that was two sellers ago and he lives at a new addres since 98 and they wont send it even to him at a new address. this bank is a joke.

Regions Financial scam charges

This banking institution gives a new meaning to overdraft/they do not post cash depost made after 2:00 pm until the next night @midnight and automatic deposits post @ midnight only before anything pending might post before and overdraw your account. They are great. The best with this bank is their ATM kept 200.00 of my money so I went inside talk to branch manager and she said it would they would look at all records and camera at another office but it would be about 3 days before I could get my money. No arguing with this lady. Process of changing to credit union. Beware of this bank.

I agree and am currently looking into starting a Class Action Lawsuit against Regions now... Regions accepts overdrawn items, not as a Courtesy to their customers as banks are supposed to, but as a way to ROB their customers and something has to be done about this. I understand rules, policies and procedures, but Regions rules, policies, and procedures are NOT consistant. I have received enough to know this with proof and plan to do something about it.

Its a fact that if I have NO pending transactions and have an item presented, regardless of how short I am, it will NOT get paid, however, if I have 10 transactions pendig, regardless of the amount that I am short for a new transaction that is presented, they WILL honor it with no problems! WHY... Because it Benefits REGIONS, not for the concern or decisions of their clents. This is NOT what Banking is designed for. Regions bank managers approving these transactions is Legal Theft and something has to be done about it. I will post additional information as I proceed with the suit. Please keep checking back! This isn't the first time either. Two weeks ago they gave me two that shouldnt have been applied to my account. A few months ago same thing. When I went to my local branch the manager exclaimed " we can credit your account, if, you fill out an application for visa overdraft protection". I recently read an article that explained that banks make as much money on overdraft fees from just ten percent of their customers as they do in all other transactions, but, unfair fees over and over? I'll lay and wait for the class action suit. Got my records and witnesses lol they actually pulled this in front of my wife who dosent even bank there lol

2 pm is probably the cut off time. Meaning... they've switched over to the next banking day. So, for example, while it's Monday, after 2pm, it's Tuesday for the banks. Yes, cash is immidiate; you can take money out through the atm, you can purchases... but, if you have anything posting that night, and you made a deposit to cover what's supposed to post that night, the cash isn't going to cover it. Why? It's next business day. Technically, you made the deposit as if you were coming in Tuesday morning and making the deposit. So, it won't post until that time at midnight. What gets really tricky with that... if the debit/credit card merchants aren't on the same business day. That's the part that really screws you over. Some merchants don't cut over at the same time.
But, that in itself, is another story.

Regions Financial lying to me

Because I am mentally ill my husband went to regions bank after he had to make a "payday loan" and told them not to give me a debit card that would let me go 500.00 over my account limit and charge me 35.00 every time I did. Tom in madison, mississippi lied and said he took that off the card, but he didn't and now they have charged me about 500.00 in overdraft fees and returned all my checks! And they charge you $70.00 for every one! That's because they say first that they paid it and charge you 35.00 and then they say they returned it and charge you another 35.00. So for every check that they have returned, if the check was submitted twice, it cost me 140.00!
When is someone going to sue them in a class action suit?

Regions Financial terrible bank

After completing 3 direct deposits in the past, they refused 1 direct deposit from the prior company. When I made inquiry why they refused the direct deposit, they said, 'we don't know'. So therefore, I asked 'you can't keep accurate account for direct deposit when you receive one?' There answer was, 'no'. So, I closed account. Now, they want to hit me with a service charge that wouldn't have happened if they would have accepted the direct deposit in the first place.

People, beware doing business with this bank if you are direct depositing. Problems of this nature is only going to get worse with banks during this economy problems.

Regions Financial loan modification denial

I tried to call regions to have them reduce my second lien which they hold on my house by half since my 1st lien holder agreed to do. I requested this since my house is not appraising for what I owe. They stated they are not reducing any loans.

If they would have agreed to half, I could of refinanced both and they would have been paid. Now that I will be walking away from the property then they stand to get nothing since second lien holders never see payment once the first is paid. I think they could of worked with my and met halfway since the primary agreed to do so. Greed will get you no money at all.
POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Well, we lost our careers when the economy tanked and trying to hang on w/ low paying jobs. We have our mtg w/ Regions (gangsta mtg co.) and we applied for the modification and for three months they lowered it by $300. We paid it easily and on time, at the end of the 3 months, they came back and said we no longer qualify and wanted the $300 for the three months ( $900) back immediately.
We are about 2k behind ONLY because we were sending in partial payments several times a month WHICH amounted to the entire payment being received w/i the alloted month. BUT, since it wasn't all in one check, they put it in our escrow account instead of applying it to our mtg. and added finance, misc. charges. Now they are trying to foreclose on us.
The escrow office (Memphis) and the mtg office (B'ham) can't even call each other to move our money where it belongs.
Even tho they w/ other banks and wall street caused all this economic mess and Even tho they: Regions (gangsta mtg. co.) OWE us taxpayers tarp money to the tune of 3.5 BILLION dollars? Total Hypocrites! BOYCOTT Regions (gangsta mtg. co.)

Regions Financial fraud and cheating

I am another regions customer who was victimized by Regions' scam. The bank held a deposit and allowed payments to transact so that they can collect 105 dollars worth of fees. I keep an accurate transaction register, I made a deposit, called my bank and looked on the on-line ledger. Everything indicated that I had enough money to cover a 45 dollar debit at Kroger. In order to be even more on the safe side, I went ahead and made a deposit for 100 dollars to safe guard against errors. A lot of good it did me.

Here is how it worked. The bank held the deposit, allowed a transaction to go through, charged me an overdraft fee for that transaction and since I was cutting it so close, everything after that first NSF bounce resulting in 105 dollar overdraft fees. Since I did not allot for NSF, of course I would have bounced transactions.

Of course, the banks are right because they are the ones who have control over when they allow transactions to take place. This BS about real time is a bunch of crock. Regions hold deposits on purpose so that they can steal and defraud you of money. The sad part is that no matter how much customers complain of their unfair practice, I have not read anywhere where customers get resolutions.

They are liars, cheats and thieves. They hold yo"ur deposit (even a cash deposit) even though your online account shows that the deposit has been credited to your account, and it shows the amount of the deposit in your available funds, and then they put through all other transactions instantly, refusing to utilize your deposit (made in cash, showing under "available balance"), just so they can charge you $36/item overdraft fees. Then these fees pretty much negate your deposit, eat it all up, so that any other transactions you perform, confident you have deposited enough to cover everything, are paid out but charged $36/item overdraft fees. In three days, Regions charged me $324 in overdraft fees, putting me into a negative balance, even though I should have had a couple of hundred dollars left in the account. I confronted the manager of my branch, accused her of "creative accounting" and "deceptive accounting prctices" and she just signed and rolled her eyes, like I was too stupid to understand. Yeah, like I would want to pay a $36 overdraft fee for a $4.99 charge on Amazon! THESE PEOPLE HAVE FOUND A LEGAL WAY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY! BEWARE!

If regions bank dose not pay my clame I well legally bring actions agenst regions bank company for payment of my matshall gordons compensation fee for 4 million dollers. two million for me marshall gordon one million for lawyer if well do on contenjency. And one million gose streaight to famlys who need it in the amount of 100 thousand dollers per famly tell the one million for familys is gone

This bank should be out of business because they are charging the customers fees just because they can. This bank holds transactions until they put your account in the hole by overdrafts and then they charge you another overdrafts for the rest of the transactions. For example, they hold all the small transactions like $20 or less for many days and debit your account in the same day with one big charge, which should take more than one day to put you in overdraft. I asked the manager one day, if I have 8 transactions worth of $120 from 4 days and one transaction for $ 300 on the same day, if I had in my account $ 415. Should I be charged just one overdraft rather than $216 for 6 overdraft fees? He said, "The bank's policy is to debit the large amount first and that is for the customer’s benefits because it could be a house payment and the bank does not want the customer to be in bad standing with the creditor, it is for the customer’s protection".
I can see putting the customer in the hole for $216 for his own protection is working great for the bank.
It is not fair that I use my dept card and the bank has the right to hold the transaction and charge it whenever they feel they can make money out of it.
If there is a lawyer out there who wants to start a class action lawsuit, I am in.
I have had my account since this bank used to be Magna bank and Union Planter after that, but I have not seen anything like Regions bank

I just looked at my account it it was 586 dollars in the hole, all over a credit card transaction that occurred three weeks ago, all of a sudden they are putting it and about 10 other thing through daily, and then removing them from the previous day, but keeping the overdraft fee. I can not even explain how angry I am at this. I have been printing my statement out daily, the customer support lady said you can't rely on the online statement, it is inaccurate, with is bull because my account is accurately 586 dollars in the hole. I'll be closing my account tomorrow, I would suggest we get together and start a class action law suit.

I can say that this has happen to my husband and I before. In our case we have been charged overdraft fees without ever overdrafting this week and last week alone they have charged us over $300 worth in fees. My sister works with a different bank and tld me that regions policy was to put all debits before credits no matter when they are posted to your account, which is cheating you completely. Regions will find anyway to make money off of you they can, We are changeing banks right after the new year!

Not alone! right as we speak they have charged three overdraft fees that aren't warranted.
This isn't the first time either. Two weeks ago they gave me two that shouldnt have been applied to my account. A few months ago same thing. When I went to my local branch the manager exclaimed " we can credit your account, if, you fill out an application for visa overdraft protection". I recently read an article that explained that banks make as much money on overdraft fees from just ten percent of their customers as they do in all other transactions, but, unfair fees over and over? I'll lay and wait for the class action suit. Got my records and witnesses lol they actually pulled this in front of my wife who dosent even bank there lol

same happen to me. They charged me 8+ overdraft fees on my account while i know that i did not buy anything or use my card.

This is getting out of control. I'm going to report this to BBB and sue them

I have been with Regions since they bought the bank I used to be with.(this has been about 4 years now) I have not had a single incident like this. My paychecks before I had the option to Direct Deposit were all posted promptly.

Regions Financial taking money from my bank acct. without my authorization

I retired in Sept. 2007. Since that date TWX*AOL has been taking $30.90 from my checking account each and every month until the present date 06/09/2008 without my authorization. I have had these problems with Regions for over two years. Prior to Sept. 2007 it was another company. I thought, after numerous phone calls and visits to the bank by my husband and myself I was satisfied the problem was resolved only to discover I am having the same problem again with another ripoff company, Time Warner aol. They get into your computer in various ways, it is impossible to uninstall them, and then charge you illegally. The bank allows them to withdraw payments each month without authorization. I am fed up, What recourse do I have at this point?

Regions Financial Tellers / branch manager

Tellers that don't have the training to look at the systems that the client can not see online and the branch manager that has to pick up a book because he don't know how to read the same information that the teller read incorrect at the Irving Tx location in LosCosta.
Now when a customer enter office the staff is begging please get a loan you can't get to the teller for the no thank you. Asking the teller for the begining balance of your accout is a 10 minute battle, teller is is talking to the other teller because the teller that waiting on you don't know what they are look at.1o minutes past, now you ask what has cleared the account. You provide the amounts and teller informs that those items have cleared and that available funds are $. So what happens Being charged ISF for over 250.00 because the teller stated that the charges had clear. Here's the funnie, I was told since I opened my account in Memphis the Memphis office would have to refund the ISF back to my account for an error that the Irving office stated with the incorrect information. Branch Mgr in Memphis returned the funds after President Day. Well guess what, while getting this cleared here we go again. Teller/ branch mgr at the Irving office provided incorrect funding amount in account. And again the branch mgr states that the memphis office will have to refund the charges from the same incorrect information provided by the Irving location. ISF charges mounted $. If the tellers and branch managers can not read or understand the info in front of them theres a problem. I know since the change from Union Planter to Regions, now lets add Amsouth to the banking world of Regions 30 people that I know have removed there accounts from this nightmare of a bank about 6 have being large accounts. Different location same ending.

Regions Financial scam and abuse!

When my great-aunt died in 2003, it was discovered that her care-taker had withdrawn over $250,000 from her Regions Bank account over a 4 year period, leaving her on the brink of bankruptcy and public assistance. The funds were spent on things like Harley Davidsons, video games, acne medication, high school tutoring, fashion clothing, care taker's credit cards, care taker's utilities, etc. The checks were forged.

Regions Bank's fraud detection system flagged the activity repeatedly. Regions Bank officers testified under oath that they discussed the situation on multiple occasions and consciously chose to do nothing: like contact its attorneys or call any goverment officials. Regions Bank had several conflicts of interest. 1) It profited from collecting ongoing NSF fees and CD early withdrawal penalties - amounting to over $10,000 (and exceeding $1000 in one given month). 2) The care-taker was a client of Regions Bank, so the bank didn't want to alienate this individual or any local relatives.

Regions Bank never once apologized and never once offered to refund the funds that it allowed to leave my aunt's account fraudulently. In fact, it allowed its lawyers to taunt my family by making minuscule offers for settlement. Overall, Regions Bank has shown its total disdain for its consumers, especially its vulnerable, elderly consumers.

The estate's legal suit went to the Alabama Supreme Court twice. But Regions Bank headquarters in Birmingham Alabama and has strong political presence. Regions Bank hired one of Birmingham's largest legal firms to protect itself and its mode of operation. All of the documentation from this legal suit are available to the public. Consumers can decide for themselves if Regions Bank behaved properly.

Alabama voters also need to know that the governor and senators of Alabama were contacted about this case and not a single one has offered any kind of restitution or change in the law to date.

Regions Bank needs to be pressured with Imminent (BK) Threats or Mediation Law and Procedures.
They are basically a giant collection agency. They purchase the distressed mortgage at Extreme Discounts from various key players in the sub-prime arena. They collect aggressively on this paper. They do not play by the rules and need to be pressed hard.

We have completed successful loan restructuring cases with Regions Bank. They are all long run and brutal battles.

I paid off a truck loan in cash on 10-14-2009. I have been waiting for the title because I sold the truck and the gentleman who bought it wanted to register it to get it on the road to make his money. I called Regions and asked where it was they told me that the payment that was paid on 10-14-09 was not processed until 10-23-09 and that now I have to wait 9 days after that to get the title. According to the DMV it is a paper title and that I should not have to wait that long for it. I then called Regions back and they again told me that it takes them this long to process anything. So I pay in cash and have to wait 30 days for a release and a title. I go to DMV on 11-2-09 to try to help this man register it, DMV tells me that there is still a lien after 15 days. I go to the bank they assure me that Rita got an email telling her that the title has been released and so has the lien. I ask her to sign a satisfaction of lien from DMV and they tell her she cannot do that. Then they tell her to tell me they will overnight it on 11-2-09 and I will receive it on 11-3-09. Well once again they llied and I still do not have the title. Why is it a bank can go about lying and not trying to help the consumer? I have the worst runaround from this bank in my 54yrs of selling anything. I will never do business with this bank and if there is anyone else out there doing business with them they need to be made aware of this situation. This bank has caused me more stress than having 15 kids can. They sent me a copy of the title on 10-31-09 why in the world could they not send me an original? I PAID CASH!

I am so overwhelmingly upset and disgusted due to the fact that I have been charged with 250.00 in NSF because I missed the time line to make a deposite. I could not get the money earlier but I tried God knows I did not acted irresponsible. That has to STOP! not only for me but for everyone having money issues right now surviving one way or another. I see it as stolen money, money that I do not have but the worst thing is that is stolen from an organization that I am trusting to protect the little I have. I need my money back! you are only making my sitution harder to handle and everyones too.

I have banked for years with Regions back when it was Union Planters and before that Magna. In 2010 I had two checks get lost and I went to the Branch at Main Street in Columbia Illinois and spoke with the Branch Manager. I ask him to have (stop payments) on the two checks - he said it will cost you $36 X 2 or $72 and I said look I have been with Regions for over 20 years and never ask them for anything - I said can you waive the fee - he said no - I said can you call your HQ in Birmingham and he said to me - let me have your phone number and I'll call you with what they say. I know that the little jerk just waited about a half and hour and called me and said no they would not do it. He said - easy to fix though - just open a new account number an close the old one. He said also that they could handle Social Security for me to - but I knew that was also a lie. Ever since then I have multiples of problems - and I'm considering changing banks altogether - Regions is all about big money depositors and to heck with the little guys the poor and elderly.

Regions Financial scam!

BEWARE! When you receive notification from FIA Card Services regarding your APR--- read the fine print. You may not even know what account is affected. Unless you mail a written notification of rejection of the high interest rate (in my case it was 27.99%), they will automatically raise your rate. This was for an account that I have had for many years, with good standing. They are sending this out to all customers and if you don't reject, you pay!

Regions Financial added unauthorized charges!

FIA card services added what they called a credit protection plan to my closed account that took a 3k bal to 7 k since 2002 with no purchases. This company is a scam! They do not even have a credit protection department, I have called over 20 times trying to get this problem solved any when they try to transfer me to that dept. the phone goes dead.

My name is Dale Barker and I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against FIA Services and Regions Bank. I can be contacted @ [protected]@alltel.net if you have a similar problems maybe we can go class action.

Had to wait for 34 minutes as a walk in which is understandable but then there was a lady by the name Ashley did not want to help. She was free to help and when asked she said she hav more important things to do. Wouldn’t recommend you speaking with Ashley at this location.

My account was overdrawn on 01/30/17 but what I am upset about is that the NSF of $108.00 was taken out at the same time the deposit hit. When I called, the teller only refunded $36.00 of the NSF fee. I would like a refund of the whole $108.00 amount.

I had apply for loan for 2 and half months now, one underwriter already approved for the loan now still waiting for the Second underwriter, but haven’t get any answer, we already rent out our current home by Oct 01 2017, we feel so lose now don’t know what to do. And the seller very upset and won’t renew the contract with us anymore.

My student loan check was ACH deposited into an account that was not mine and complete check was withdrew without my authorization or knowledge. Per regions policy this should not have been able to withdrawal it should have been sent back to volstate. I am getting complete run around with CS I just want what belongs to me

This company is unbelievable, they must be in business to share profits with other companies with their dubious transactions. I used one credit card for one night stay at a hotel and that hotel charged me for four nights on one card, they charged me for another night (the same night) on the FIA card and when I disputed this fradulent charge with FIA they (FIA) had the gall to make another charge to another of my accounts which I had closed 6 years ago. WHAT are they up to? Who watches out for these people? My credit score was also very high and I always pay everything off each month, how can you keep pristine credit when the very persons you trust to keep your information straight deliberately mess up your accounting? I was wondering how FIA got my old CC information, now I find out that FIA processed the BOA card information. Is this legal to keep exponentially increasing charges that were NEVER used? How can they charge an account that was closed by me 5-6 years ago? That card was cut up long ago. Shame on you FIA and Holiday Inn Express Carlsbad I hope you get what you deserve.

I too have a problem with this company. I recently pair off two credit cards and rolled it over to a FIA card at 0%, or so I thought. I had a credit card (Bank of America) that is apparently processed through FIA. When I tried to pay off the card online, I realized that the parent company was the same, so I could not pay it off. About a week after I got the card, I received a phone call from a customer service rep from FIA. When I told him I would not be using the card because I could not pay off the balance on the Bank of America card, he suggested that I use one of the checks that FIA sends out along with the new card to pay off the Bank of America card. He told me to just write the check to myself, cash it and then use the funds to pay of the card. He told me that the checks were under the promotion of 0% but that there was a slightly higher transaction fee than the usual 2%. When the checks arrived, I used one to pay off the card. I just received my statement and saw that I was not only charged a higher transaction fee but that I was paying 19.5% interest on the amount I wrote the check for. When I called to find out why I was not getting the promotional rate of 0%, I was told that I used a cash advance check and that it is at 19.5%. I explained that I thought I was using the promotional check because that was what the customer service rep had told me to do. She said I shoud have read the fine print and the only thing I could do was pay the credit card balance at 19.5%. Long story, short, when I told her that this was unaccepatable, she transferred me to another department. After speaking with someone in this new departrment (he, too, could not help), I was transferred yet again to the credit department. Twenty-eight minutes later, after reviewing my account (I have excellent credit with a rating of over 800), this person told me that there was nothing she could do and that I would have to pay off the card at the high interest rate. I feel that this company is a scam and that they are probably doing this to a lot of people. Is there anything I can do or someone I can go to to report these deceptive business practices?

I have just received a letter from Regions/FIA to tell me that my interest rate is going up 10%, even on my present balance. I can opt out of this they said and keep my 15.9% rate, but the minute I use the card again it will go up to 25.99%. I believe that this is illegal, according to the treasury dept bank regulations ombudsman, I told the customer service girl on the phone and she said they can do whatever they want. Has anyone else had this problem? She said I was a very good customer, always paid the card on time, but they were looking at my overall credit. I have never missed a payment on any cards and everytime I pay a card down, my limit drops to what I owe...

My name is Bill McElwee and i am having similar problems as the rest of the regions fia clients are, each month the amount i owe has changed they keep telling me that i am a month behind
in what i owe when in truth i have paid my payment's on time.I am at my wits end with all of this, they have yet to correct the problem that is their fault something has to be done about this company.

This FIA card services is really a fraud company. When I tried to reach costumer service they never tried to help me out. If there is any law to Sue these guys, Please let me know.
