Red Lobster Disappointing Service and Long Wait Times at Red Lobster

I went to Red Lobster with my friends and we had to wait for 25 minutes to be seated. Even though we arrived early, there were barely any people in the restaurant. We were getting impatient, but we finally got a table. However, we had to wait another 25 minutes before we could order our drinks. We were getting thirsty and annoyed, so one of us had to find a hostess and ask when we could order our drinks. It took another 25 minutes before our food finally arrived. We were about to ask for our drink bill so we could leave and find a different restaurant, but our food arrived just in time.

This was not the first time we had problems at this location. We were disappointed with the service and the wait time. We won't be returning to this restaurant. We hope they can improve their service and make their customers feel more welcome.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster: Small Seafood, Slow Service, and Mediocre Steak

We went to Red Lobster and ordered a steak and seafood combo. The grilled scallops were really small, like bite-sized small. The garlic shrimp scampi tasted like it was made with some cheap garlic powder that was all salt and no garlic. The shrimp in the scampi were so small, they were barely bigger than the ones you'd get in a shrimp cocktail. The baked potato was plain, no toppings or anything.

The service was really slow because there was only one server working. My 94-year-old mother had to ask for help packing her to-go box with the food she didn't eat. It was a bit of a hassle, but we managed.

The steak was okay, but it wasn't anything special. For $29, we were expecting something a little more impressive. Overall, we weren't too impressed with our experience at Red Lobster and we probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Red Lobster Mixed Experience at Red Lobster: Good Food, Poor Service

I recently visited Red Lobster with a friend who is 90 years old. She had trouble reading the menu and asked our server for assistance. Unfortunately, our server also had trouble seeing and forgot her contacts at home. Despite this, she tried her best to help us and even offered to substitute the chips in my fish and chips order with something else since I didn't like them. I ended up getting cole slaw, but was charged extra for it.

After our food arrived, our server never came back to check on us. We had to ask another server for some assistance. When it came time to pay, I asked for a receipt and our server seemed surprised. Of course, I needed a receipt for my records.

Overall, the food was okay, but we were too upset with our server to enjoy it fully. We asked for a box to take our leftovers home, but ended up leaving without eating them. Despite the service issues, I would still recommend Red Lobster for their seafood dishes. Just be prepared for some potential hiccups in the service.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster in Watertown, NY: Tiny Lobster Tails and Nasty Bathrooms

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough time at the Red Lobster joint in Watertown, NY. It was a real bummer, man. We ordered up a couple of lobster tails, but let me tell you, they were teeny-tiny! Like, seriously, I've never seen lobster tails that small before. They were so small, they could've been on the kiddie menu! And get this, they only gave us like, a tablespoon of rice with 'em. What's up with that, Red Lobster? My hubby ordered mashed potatoes, but even those were only about a tablespoon's worth. Like, come on, guys, we're hungry over here!

But that's not even the worst part. The bathrooms were straight-up nasty. I couldn't even bring myself to use 'em, they were that gross. Each toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, with poop stains all over the rim and whatnot. And the floor and door were all sticky and gross. I was so skeeved out, I practically ran to my car to use some hand sanitizer.

Overall, I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Red Lobster. The food was way too small and the bathrooms were just plain nasty. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon, that's for sure.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster on Busch Blvd in Tampa: Slippery, Greasy Mess and Poor Service

Red Lobster on Busch Blvd in Tampa, let me tell you, we've been there before and it's been all good, but today was a whole different ball game. First off, we waited for a whole 15 minutes before anyone even looked our way to seat us. I mean, come on now, we're hungry and ready to chow down on some seafood goodness. I had to go up to a manager and let her know what was up after she walked by us not once, but twice.

So, we finally get seated and what do we see? Grease, and lots of it, all up under our table. I mean, it was so slippery we could barely even stand up to move to another table. It was like we were ice skating or something. And to top it off, we waited another 20 minutes just to put in a drink order. But you know what? We didn't even wait any longer, we just straight up walked out of there.

Now, I get it, places can get busy and all that jazz, but here's the thing, there wasn't even hardly anyone in there. I mean, what's up with that? We came to get our seafood fix and all we got was a slippery, greasy mess. Needless to say, we won't be going back to that Red Lobster anytime soon.

Red Lobster Mixed feelings about Red Lobster: Great Service, Terrible Rewards Program, and Smaller Portions

Me and my wife, we love to eat at Red Lobster in Southtown, Bloomington MN. We go there like twice a month, and we always ask for Crystal to be our waitress. She's the best, and we always have a good time when she's around. But let me tell you, the Rewards program is a big joke. I signed up last year, and I already lost all my points three times. I don't know why, but every time I scan my receipt, my points disappear. And I can't even check my past credits, so I don't know what's going on. It's so stupid, man.

Also, have you noticed that the food portions are getting smaller? And the Lunch specials are almost gone. I mean, what's up with that? Red Lobster used to be great, but now it's just okay. It's like they don't care about their customers anymore. I hope they fix these things soon, or we might have to find a new place to eat. But we'll still come back for Crystal, though. She's the best.

Red Lobster Decent Experience at Red Lobster, but Management Could Improve

I recently visited Red Lobster and had a decent experience. When I walked in, I noticed that there were already 9 tables being used. The server told us to wait because the table was being cleaned. We waited for about 5 minutes and noticed the manager standing by the kitchen entrance with his hands in his pockets, talking to the server who told us to wait. He looked our way and then sauntered over to ask if we had been helped.

We were seated at table 412 and the server arrived to take our order between 4:25 and 4:27. Our drinks were brought to us at 4:36 and 4:43, and the biscuits and salad were brought out shortly after. My wife asked for extra ice, which was brought to us at 4:51. Our food was brought out at 4:57 and we asked for more biscuits. The server did a good job overall, but it seemed like the management could have been more on hand to tend to the guests' needs.

You can't manage from the kitchen entrance and definitely not with your hands in your pockets. Every time I saw the manager, he had his hands in his pockets. It would have been nice to see him walking around and checking on the guests to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Overall, the food was good and the service was decent. However, the management could use some improvement in terms of being more attentive to the guests. I would recommend Red Lobster to others, but with the caveat that the management could be more hands-on. This review was written on a Sunday while I was waiting for my car to be serviced at the nearby store 6356.

Red Lobster Disappointing Dining Experience at Red Lobster in Johnstown, PA: A Review

Me and my crew hit up Red Lobster in Johnstown, PA last night for some grub. We were all about that all-you-can-eat shrimp, so we ordered up two different kinds. But let me tell you, we had to wait a hot minute for our food to come out. And when it finally did, it wasn't even our server who brought it to us.

When our server finally made her way back to our table, we tried to order up some more shrimp, but she said we could only get one because of some computer issues. So we each ordered one, but my wife's order got messed up and she didn't get what she asked for. Plus, the food was cold and the fried shrimp were straight up gummy.

Eventually, my wife got the right order, but it was still cold. And to top it off, our server kept forgetting to bring us drink refills. By the time we finally got them, we were all kinds of frustrated. We paid the bill and bounced, feeling like we wasted our hard-earned cash on a subpar dining experience.

Overall, the service was straight up terrible and the food was cold and unappetizing. We dropped $60 on this meal and it was not worth it at all. Save your money and hit up a different spot for some seafood.

Red Lobster Service or lac of

To whom it might concern

I was asked where I would like to go out on Father’s Day and I choose Red Lobster. We arrived there at 1130. There was one group of 7 in front then a group of 2 then us. We wait our turn to be seated. After being seat a group of 6 came in then a group of 4 then 20 minutes later a group of 2 came in and where seated. Everyone in there had a waitress wait on them. We sat there with them walking all around us and not one of them would stop to even acknowledge that we were even there. The last group that came in 20 minutes after was now being serviced the food. It was time to leave, My daughter ask for the manager to complain about it and all he could come up with was well try and get you another server. So we left.

All you people know is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. Well, I spend out of own pocket around $4000.00 a year on dinning in and gift cards for my family and friends. That stops now. Here is the other problem for you: I have posted that no dinning at DEAD LOBSTER for the Corporation. No taking out of business associates to DEAD LOBSTER. If they want to go, there on their own that’s on them. I have also posted this to all my e-mail and have asked them to pass it on to their friend and families.

Please don’t try and send any apologies it’s to late for them.

Red Lobster Phone protocol

Called Fairfield CA Red Lobster yesterday and made a reservation . They took our name and number. Upon getting there we checked in and was told it would be 15 minutes . Other people were seated upon arrival . We questioned this and was told they don't take reservations . Upset , we left and went to a competitor. Being handicapped and being my birthday ,I was looking forward to this dinner.

We called the restaurant !after to talk to the manager and was told she was u available ,too busy.

Red Lobster Points/rewards

Recently, I purchased a gift card for $200. When I called Red Lobster to find out where the points were for the purchase that I had made, they said I had to wait to use the gift card in order to receive the points. So I waited after using the $200 gift card it was for my wife's birthday, and it showed my visit at the store but it showed 0 points. I believe it's a scam I'm not sure that they know what they're doing over there other than beating people at a points to try to get them to go and eat. Another thing that they do is they will give you these $10 rewards that you can use in July and August where you have to spend at least $40. Those are pretty useless because you'd have to go to Red Lobster quite a bit to ever get any value out of them and this isn't McDonald's or Burger King this is usually celebratory and not something that you do everyday and I think they know that when they print these coupons or these gift cards or whatever you want to call them or promotional knowing that no one's ever going to use them unless they eat at Red Lobster for like lunch everyday, so I think that the entire thing is one big giant scam. Just another one of the issues that Red Lobster has had over the years.

Desired outcome: I'd like the $200 worth of points that's owed. Unlike a coupon, a member should be able to save points abd use multiple rewards, all at once. Points, unlike coupons, are allegedly matched, dollar for dollar. I am missing nearly 200 points.

Red Lobster The service we received at the Red Lobster in Greensboro MC

I frances coples and my party was not treated right. The person miss tequis h was waiting on us. I had 5 people in my party. She was rude, rushing us didn't want us to order, didn't want to help us. Threw my next order at me, was not kind at all. I know it was mothers day and busy, but you still should be nice. I called your general manager about this. Miss brittney sparks told me she would send me a coupon. She said they trained them. Not what we saw. I guess this place not to go to. I need all my money back for poor service. The rev. Williams was treated bad also and should get his money back. He paid over 85.00 and I paid 49.94 table 84 my check number is 53132. I don't know what rev. Williams number is. Mstequis h. Tried to make my husband pay for a tip. She did'nt deserve nothing but we did leave something on the table for her. One of my friends had to tell her we did leave her a tip on the table. She tried to take off my card. My friend, dianne stopped her. That is the worst treatment we ever had. I did't want to call or email you all, but since I didn't hear from her. This my next step. She and sparks need training again.

Red Lobster Gift card

On May 16, 2023, I went to Red Lobster and showed them my gift card for payment. I also showed them the receipt they gave me last time that showed $22.40 remaining in the gift card. They said there was no balance on the card. This is impossible since I used the card once in February and was away in March and April and didn’t use it. I realize that card numbers and computers are the only things you go by, but this was a definite mistake. For $22.40, you lost a good customer. I have an app and used to go often.

Red Lobster Curbside pickup

I am writing to you because of the terrible experience I had at Red Lobster on May 9. Before I explain the situation, let me give the particulars about my order. The Red Lobster was located at 1 Neveda St. Hicksville, NY, The check number is 714998 and the server was RLO. This order is for curbside pickup.
My wife and I haven't been to Red Lobster in a couple of years. My wife is extremely ill and I have bad knees. When dealing with other restaurants, I usually take advantage of curb side pickup. I started with online ordering. Near the end of the order, the computer asked if I wanted to add a half dozen biscuits. Before I had a chance to respond, I was transferred to a live agent. The agent reviewed my order and at the end I asked if I was getting biscuits. The agent told me that my order included two biscuits.

Upon arriving, I dialed the pickup number for curbside, I explained to the person that answered that I wanted to increase my order to six biscuits. I was told that to increase my order for additional biscuits I would have to come inside to process it. An agent came outside and told me the same information. I told the agent that I wasn’t coming inside for the additional biscuits. I relayed to the agent to bring my food outside and forget the additional biscuits. She left and a few minutes later the Manager came outside. I told the Manager that I have bad knees and I have exact change, please bring my food outside. The Manger refused and said I must come inside to pickup my food. I took my cane and painfully went inside to pickup my food. With all the time that had passed the food was ice cold. This was the first time I used curbside pickup. I couldn’t believe the employees were so insensitive to my needs. Red Lobster should be ashamed of themselves in how they deal with people with disabilities. By the way, the two biscuits I received could have been used for hockey pucks,

Red Lobster Endless shrimp inedible

On Monday evening, May 8, 2023, my husband and I went to the Red Lobster at 1001 East Central Texas Expressway in Killeen Texas. I specifically went due to the Endless Shrimp offer.

There were only about 8 cars in the parking lot, so we knew that we should be able to eat fairly quick. We were immediately seated and were correct, there were very few customers in the restaurant, so we were waited on immediately.

My husband ordered sweet tea and I ordered water. Were informed they were out of sweet tea (unheard of in Texas) but she would make some and get it to him as soon as she could. We knew what we wanted, so we ordered our food when we ordered our drinks. Husband ordered Cod plate and I ordered Endless Shrimp with Shrimp scampi and shrimp skewers. When the food arrived, the shrimp was so overcooked that it was rubbery. Instead of complaining, I just asked the waitress for the fried shrimp, assuming the cooks would know when to take the shrimp out of the fryer. After a long wait I received the fried shrimp. It was actually burnt and fried to the point where it was just a hard disc. It could not be eaten at all. I spoke with the waitress when she came by and actually handed her one of the shrimp so she would understand that the shrimp was not a little overcooked, it was truly burnt. She said "Wow, the cooks are overwhelmed in the kitchen". What do you want to do? How could the cooks be overwhelmed, there were only approximately 4 other tables in the whole restaurant and they had all been served? At that time my husband was done eating and ready to leave and I had not had a meal. I told her to just give us the ticket and we would leave. She said great and provided the bill. Now the waitress saw the shrimp scampi and shrimp skewers shrimp still on the plate and she saw the fried shrimp still on the plate, but I was not offered a discount or any other compensation. This was not the first time that we were disappointed with this particular location. I am hopeful that other locations have better service, management and cooks and I will try one of the other locations but I will never waste my money at the Killeen location again.

Desired outcome: I would like a response and a refund for my meal. My husband's meal was ok.

Do not hire Melinda Vander Vieran to work for Red Lobster, Because She is sick,twisted,evil,wicked! She is a racist and She's prejudice against black people. She did Antoine Bluntson, Rennard Cotton, Dwight Williams and the rest of the black kitchen co-workers wrong by having them do other co-workers jobs that's not part of their job description! She cause black co-workers to walkout and quit their jobs and She caused them hit rock bottom,She don't care about nobody but herself. She's a thief and a fraud, She is greedy,She is money hungey and She likes to steal money from businesses! The reason why she is money hungry is because, She has a craving for money like the other white women have, Especially like those famous white women actresses and musicians! She's running her own Zumba Fitness class in Indian Rocks Beach,Florida and She lives in Largo,Florida. Stay away from Melinda Vander Vieran in Minnesota,Wisconsin and Florida!

Red Lobster Entire experience

04-22 appro This place has went downhill so bad. My family and I use to dine in here a lot but never again. I only had a baked potato with cheese bacon and butter and they couldn’t get that right I also had a small salad with only lettuce cheese and ranch dressing I had to ask for cheese and more ranch my bill was over $14.00 . It was my niece’s birthday and I called the day before to ask about how they do if you bring in a cake. I was on hold for almost a hour and I expressed that I was upset about the hold at the end of our call and she said patience’s is a virtue and to be glad I got to speak to someone about the cake. I have a quick temper with no patience’s for someone who acts this way so instead of losing my cool I hung up. I go in today 4/22 around 11:45 and it wasn’t crowded and I drove separately and took the cake in without my niece seeing it and gave it to the hostess and told her about my phone call the day before and asked her about bringing the cake to the table as a surprise and she said yes we can do that. We were seated by a lady who wasn’t the most pleasant person and our food came out we ate our food well we attempted to eat our food but both of the girls had garlic chicken Alfredo with hardly enough sauce to cover the pasta so that $46.00 was wasted. We paid for our food and I tried to wait a minute wondering about the cake and it never came out so I let my daughter and niece go outside and addressed the hostess and she pretty much blamed me because I didn’t tell our server but I was never told by her when I handed her the cake literally 20 minutes before that I was supposed to do that. I asked for my cake back and a general managers name and called as soon as I got home which was a waste of my time because he thought it was no problem with what happened since I got my cake back.. I was extremely disappointed and I could have spent less money and prepared way better food and served a cake at my house and not gotten frustrated. We will never be eating with them again.

Red Lobster Service

Visited Topeka, KS restaurant, April 15, 2023. Arrived: 4:30pm, left 6:00pm check # 51471. Husband and I had dinner with niece and nephew. Place wasn't really busy at the time we arrived, which was right about 4:30pm. Waiter came and got our drink order. Came back and took our food order. Nephew had to ask for drink refills, we had to ask for cheddar biscuits. When order came, was brought the size of a Cajun shrimp linguini Alfredo instead of the feast size that my niece ordered. I had ordered the Cajun chicken linguini Alfredo. I had notified our waiter who then went to let the cooks know about it. We had to keep asking for refills in the mean time and he wouldn't show back up until he would come to see how we were doing and we had to remind him of refills. He had informed me that my meal would be brought to me in about 2 mins. because they were waiting for something. Never did say what it was. While the 3 at our table were eating their meals, I continued to wait. After about 10 mins, I finally got up went to the front and asked for the manager. Which, she did not have a name tag on. Therefore, I wasn't able to get her name. I told her what the issue was. At this time, they had people waiting to be seated. She was rude to me after I spoke with her. She then came to our table, had to explain what was ordered and who ordered what. She then, walked off and a gal came and brought my food shortly after. By then the rest of my family were completely done with their meals. They had to wait for me to finish mine. The manager never came back to even see if I got my food or to see if everything was fine. Our waiter came over and again, had to ask for refills. He also didn't even bother asking if it was one check or two. We had to tell him. When we got our ticket, my niece and nephew were charged full price for what was to be a small serving for her shrimp linguini instead of the full size. When she went to the manager whom she was rude with to my niece she did give her a discount for their meal. My niece explained to her what had happened to me. The manager then told my niece that I was not getting a discount because I had eaten the shrimp linguini. I had not touched, eaten any of the shrimp linguini. I don't even like shrimp. We were going to ask the manager about my discount, but with her being so rude to both myself and my niece already we decided to not talk to her about it. We all were very disappointed about how we were treated. This is very unappreciated to every end.

Desired outcome: Would like to have a full refund for just my meal, which was the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo.

Red Lobster Food and bill

My wife and I went to Red Lobster in Whitehall, Pa. on April 8, 2023 at 4:45pm. The problem we have here is the food and the bill! I ordered the Lobster Duo with baked potato and broccoli. When I received the order the grilled lobster was just okay but the broiled lobster was all slimy, undercooked and inedible. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon and Lobster tail with a baked potato and broccoli. Her lobster tail was way undercooked also, too slimy and raw to eat, inedible! Her filet mignon that she had ordered medium, turned out to be very dry, overcooked and chewy(texture of a steak). It should have melted in her mouth. After finally calling upon another waiter, because our waitress wasn't around, they said they would remake the lobster tails if we wanted them to. We opted to try again. Both replacement lobsters came out the EXACT same way as the first ones. Slimy, undercooked and inedible. The manager Melissa came over to have a conversation about the meals and at that time we didn't want any more. Our appetite was turned by these lobsters. She said she would make it up on the bill. So when we got our bill, We were surprised to see that she had charged us for making the second lobsters again (@ 15.99 each). So essentially we paid for twice for the same lobsters. Our credit was not 15.99 but only 11.99 for the charged second lobsters. She did give us a credit called a 'crew family discount', whatever the hell that is. All in all we paid $81.17 for 2 baked potatoes, 2 broccoli and a half eaten steak (that was really inedible) . Would you pay that for no lobster? That was a total screw up on Red Lobsters part. This restaurant is going down fast and someone really needs to throw a life preserver to save it. We are part of a neighborhood local app that discusses everything local in the Lehigh Valley. There are so many people who will never go to this restaurant again because of similar experiences. When we were walking out, the old couple at the table next to us had just complained about the slimy lobster also. I hope this gets to someone who really gives a crap about this place. It could be so good, but [censored] kicking needs to be done first!

Desired outcome: Desired outcome for our experience at this Red Lobster Whitehall, Pa. is that we be fully refunded the $81.17 we spent for a horrible dining experience from what should have been a reputable restaurant! Please refund!

Red Lobster Red Lobster to go order

My husband and I ordered red Lobster to go March 24th about 3 PM. When I got the order home the linguini was missing from both orders. I called Red Lobster in St. Cloud MN and complained to the manager. She said that it certainly wasn't up to their high standards and that she would email me a gift certificate for $60. I never did get an email so I called again to complain. The person I talked to took down all my information and said that she would give it to her manager since that person was in a meeting. I still have not had any response from Red Lobster. It's bad enough that you are missing about a third of your meal when you place an order for about $136 and leave a tip but to be blown off twice is inexcusable.

Desired outcome: They could send me a gift certificate for more than $60.
