Realtor.com fake, bogus, incorrect information on realtor.com

My home in PA is not even for sale, but they are tracking it with incorrect bogus information. The description is wrong and they show the value as being significantly down from 2 yrs ago despite of other homes being up in the neighborhood. I never contracted with them, did not give them permission to publish any information about my home, and to top it they are showing fake, untrue so called facts that are not what they say. This must be some sort of scamming operation, degrade the value of your home for some extortion payment. I am waiting for their call, but will not pay them anything. I want them out of my home, out of my life. I have not found a way to opt out of their false advertising. Is there a gov agency that regulates this type of operation ? Scammers know it's expensive to sue them, that is why they keep doing it.

Realtor.com realtor leads

realtor.com is a scam! The real estate leads that I got are crap. People who already have a realtor or people who are trying to rent. I was told that it was $600 total but now they're taking $600 a month out of my account. If for a new realtor this is horrible. I am unable to cancel the contract or terminate and they keep debiting my checking account and putting it in the red. This is crazy !

Realtor.com misleading agents and not able to cancel contract

I'm an agent in NJ. I received a phone call in January 2017 about becoming exclusive agent. I joined at $200 per month only to realize it was a scam. I finally got a hold of them and they reduced my fee to $100 per month. The leads I'm getting, if any go no where. I'm only in 1 zip code and it's a small town. I've tried for 4 months to contact them but couldn't get a sales person to call me back. Finally, spoke to Alex yesterday and told me I'm in a 1 year contract. I never committed to that at all! Can't give me a refund..blah blah. Has SCAM written all over his speech. Anyway, my next step is to cancel my credit card but have hesitations. Anyone else have issues?

Realtor.com service

Let me start by saying to all the realtors that called in and complained about bogus leads and not being able to cancel, I understand your frustrations. Im no longer employed with them and I have been waiting MONTHS to write this review. This is by far the most unethical job I have ever encountered. I was told that I couldnt disclose certain policies and procedures to realtors that were spending loads of money on leads. Now I can speak freely.

When you sign up for lead generation (zip codes) the Account Executives are going to fill your head up with lies because they want that sale. If they tell you that you will get 3-7 leads a month that is not true! 1 full share projects 40 leads a year. A half share is 20 in a year.

The leads are not guaranteed. They will say they are. You are in a contract, they will say you can cancel anytime... that is not true!

You have a 3 day grace period, after that I guarantee you, your ability to cancel will be a nightmare!

Why? Because when you call customer care and you tell them you want to cancel youre going to be told youre in a contract. Youll say I didnt sign anything then they will say well I can start your cancellation request. Dont get too excited its just a nice way of saying, just because you asked doesnt mean it will happen. They will get you over to an account specialist. Which means youre going to get transferred to RETENTION thats if they can get a hold of someone over there.

A multi billion dollar company and theres only 6 people in retention... so the likelihood of you speaking to someone is rare. Youll be told that they have 72 hours to call you back.

Maybe youll get a call. Maybe you wont.

Youll call back in furious. They will be empathetic and try to reach the person your case was assigned to. Youll be on hold long periods of time. I used to tell realtors that if you can spare time (which I know is rare) I can keep trying to reach them. I would be on a call for two hours trying to get a hold of them. Youll ask to speak to a manager. They cant help you.

Theyll say we will get this escalated for you an escalation means that within 24 hours someone is supposed to call you back. Emphasis on supposed to. Remember there are only 6 people in the retention department.

Youll try to remove your card by calling in. They wont let you. You can cancel your card on file which is a headache in itself because now you have to call all the other places that had your card number and let them know you have a new card.

You can call in with your credit card company. This will not help you if they cant get you transferred to retention.

Theres no point in asking your account executive to cancel it for you. They dont have the ability and you will get the run around. Thats if you can even get a response from them. Account executives are rude and have absolutely no professionalism. Not the ones I talked to in the 4 months I worked there. Quick to take your money but after that? You are ignored.

Lead generation is a gamble. Are some people successful from it yes. Are all people? No. You will get spam leads. You will get a bunch of leads from other realtors asking you how the program works. This will count against your leads.

Account Executives will tell you that they will make up the bad leads. THIS IS A LIE! You will very rarely get a credit.

If you are looking to cancel remember you only have 3 days to do so. They have shared leads that rotate between two other agents or unshared leads. Fast is shared leads. Flex is unshared. Remember that if you so desire to get zip codes.

My advice get a prepaid credit card and dont give them a back up card number at all.

The best feature you can use is the free dashboard on RDC. Create your profiles, add your NRDS ID numbers (if you have them) network by getting reviews and recommendations. You can utilize the dashboard by updating listing photos or adding open houses if it doesnt or didnt pull over from the MLS.

Listing issues: the resolution department can take up to 72 hours to resolve your issues. Due to the new updates on the dashboard (realsuite) there are more glitches on the site and there are a lot of issues with the MLSs that are unable to syndicate properly on the sight. Countless emails are sent to employees every day about something not working.

This pretty much is my tell all review about what to expect when you call in. This call center has a very high turnover rate. Higher than most.

Theres a reason why there are class action lawsuits against them. Everything in the class action is correct.

Lastly customer care reps are very limited in what they can do. Customer care reps cant cancel. Cant make changes to your listings. You get transferred to another department for credit card updates. Customer care reps can help you with your dashboard and mapping issues and putting in cases. Please keep in mind to get an escalation on a case 72 business hours must have passed.

I sincerely hope this helps someone and can perhaps spare you a long hold time or a phone call.

Should you have questions Ill gladly answer.

Hello,

I'm so glad you posted your review. I am currently in an ethical & price gouging dispute with Realtor.com. I have been very happy to date with my lead generation from them this past year. I was told from my sales rep throughout the year that my contract renewal would be automatic & nothing would change. It's now renewal time. I received a call from another rep yesterday stating that he'd be happy to renew for me but the monthly cost would now be 700% higher than what I'm paying. He also stressed that there are many agents in my market wanting my two zip codes ... he then immediately mentions that my current Broker-in charge & former Broker-in charge (BY NAME MIND YOU) are waiting & wanting my zip codes & willing to pay this amount! I have made a complaint with Customer Care. A supervisor has contacted me and said they will do everything they can to investigate the unethically practices and try to accomodate me with a renewal for less. He said they will review the phone tapes of each of my conversations with both reps. I asked him to send me his email address so I can begin documenting our converations in writing & mentioned that it is legal to record phone conversations on my end as well in my state. I stressed that if this doesn't get resolved, I would hate to file a complaint with NAR, BBB & Consumer Affairs if they don't rectify the price gouging of my leads & stop unethical, practices against Realtors. It's abosultely unprofessional & grossly inappropriate for this company, with whom I felt I was happy working with, be treated this way. How is this possible? How could NAR associate themselves with a company that is in the business to repeatedly lie to us Realtors and unjustly price gouge by 700% per month! There are laws about price gouging, Realtor.com needs to implement better customer relations with the agents who have been loyal to them. If they want to increase costs at the end of the yearly term, it should be in very low percentage increments & not exceed a cap after after a 5 years with a continued renewal of service or something ... just a suggestion ... like some mortgage loans out there that are reguated to protect the consumer. **If you have any advise for me I would certainly appreciate it** I would like to continue getting leads from them, but refuse to be strong armed, lied to and pay what they are demanding.

Realtor.com agent leads

Realtor.com leads work out somewhat until you are ready to cancel or change zip code choices. They lock you into an annual contract for unverified leads. The sales people seem very nice and will try to get you to purchase several zip codes, unless you challenge the product at which point I turn from nice to completely uncooperative or unresponsive. They lie, will give you a ticket number for your complaint, but will do absolutely nothing to resolve the issue! Not worth the headache!

Realtor.com leads

4/1/18
Promised me 4 leads a month, promised me I would be the only one to get leads on my own listings! All a lie and I have the proof several times over. I have also e-mailed my account manager for the last three weeks and ask him to call me. No return calls. Then this past week I e-mailed him and asked for a contact for upper level management. It has been 6 days and again nothing! I have proof of everything I just typed. I had my son and wife go on to realtor.com and request info on one of my listings and I did get the lead, however they also received e-mails & phone calls from other realtors about their listings in the general area of my listing. Realtor.com also sent them other homes to preview in the area! They are liars!
I have cancelled my credit card so they can't charge me anymore and I am sure I will have to get my real estate attorney involved before this is all over. This is the 2nd time in the last 10 years that I have tried to do business with them & the last! Run from them if they contact you & if you do any business with them, you had better record the conversation because they will deny they said it! I have been in the business for over 30 years and these guys are the worst liars of all!

Realtor.com leads

I signed up for 2 zip codes for realtor.com leads under preauthorization status. My husband and I were both in the phone together with Tep Jeff Runkle who stated the 2 zip codes were on a wait list and we could leave a credit card to presuthorize once a slot was available. Furthermore, we were told we would receive 20-40 leads per month with maybe 6 being good leads. A week or two passed and we got charged but no leads came until the next day. We have received 7 leads from 34787 and only 3 leads from 34786. It's been almost a month and I call to cancel because o have not received the 20-40 that I understood were to be sent. The rep Michael on the phone stated that we would only receive 20-40 leads annually and that I was misinformed. I asked to cancel and he said no. Again, I asked to cancel because I was misinformed. He said the best he can do is cancel at 6 months. I told him I wanted the cancel now and he refused. I asked to speak with his manager, Tyler Carr. He said he was not in the office. Yet he can put in a request to have him call me which may take at least 3-4 days (coincidentally when next billing cycle is charged). I am getting the runaround and Poor customer service. All I want is to cancel because of the misrepresentation of product rendered. Horrible!

Realtor.com monthly lead service

I signed up for leads with realtor.com and was told I could cancel anytime and that it was a month to month service. When I went to call and cancel because the leads are absolute garbage, they told me in a year long contract and can't cancel. After some complaining the guy told me I could cut my contracts short by a few months. I told him I didn't want to cut it short I wanted to end my monthly agreement. He said he couldn't do that as I am in a year long contract. I am paying $800 a month and most of the leads don't answer my calls, texts, emails. And the ones that do aren't even serious buyers. I can't keep paying for a service that doesn't have quality leads. I'm better off without leads and $800 kept to myself each month. I told them I'm going to report them to the BBB and stop payment from them on my account and the guy just told me he's make a note on my account. Help! Am I going to go in collections if I stop paying this ridiculous scam of a service ?

Realtor.com paid leads service

My name is Efrain, I am a licensed realtor out of NYC. I subscribed February 1st, 2018 with a sales representative by the name of Randy for several zip codes and the promised leads have been dreadful. I have selected some of the most high net-worth zip codes where the cost of homes in these zip codes are in the millions. I have received leads for homes that are short sale and not even on the MLS etc.

I sa attempting to take n more buyers in my business as I only have focused on sellers and
I instinctively knew it was time to cancel as this was a subscription that under delivered on promises.

Apparently I have told I am in a 12 month contract of which I never signed or reviewed. This is after being told by sales rep Randy on the original call, that I can cancel at anytime because "realtor.com understands that life changes".

I contacted customer service this past Sunday the 11th, submitting a request to cancel my subscription after just two weeks of being signed up. A rep named Mickey or Micky had reached out to me Monday the 12th when I missed his call. I reached back out same day and left a voicemail for a call back at his desk. Thursday, the 15th arrived so I reached out to customer service to get back to addressing this problem. Micky or Mickey called me back roughly around 4:45pm est all to demeaningly speak over me telling me what he suggests I do with my subscription as I had no option of cancelling as I am apparently in a 12 month contract.

Despite this absurd statement, I have asked for proof of the contract that I reviewed and signed stating any agreement to such propostrus conditions, and he said it was sent to me. I have checked and reviewed every single electronic mailbox I have to my name and not 1 contract was sent for me to review. Micky mentioned that realtor.com has the ability to verify if I have opened and read any terms sent to me and since has not provided me such evidence since I made the request for the evidence.

I reached out to customer service again, requesting to speak to the highest ranking manager that is in charge of accounts and I have yet received contact from any manager that can address this.

I am forced to report realtor.com, not only these bait and switch tactics, not providing proof of a binding contract consented by me, and for lack of professionalism/foul treatment of customers to my state Attornery General and the BBB.

I have researched my similar predicament and have viewed on countless web boards similar agents, brokers, and mortgage officers falling victim to the same treatment and misrepresentation of services agreed upon.

Please anyone, help me resolve this

Thanks.

Realtor.com leads

When I subscribed to Realtor.com I thought I'd get good quality leads. Hasn't turned out that way. Several have been bogus even though verified. I want out. How can they say you are under contract with them if you never signed anything. As Realtors we sign, our clients sign! WTF? I'm not sure but I think they have my SS number. Did anyone else have to supply their Social? If I close my credit card they are debiting and they have my social, I suppose they will file a complaint with a collection agency, so what! I think their actions speak loudly and I doubt that any lenders would pay any attention to that, probably just laugh it off. Has anyone else had any luck other than cancelling your credit card?

Realtor.com lead buying service

I bought a 12 month lead package from mike moses at realtor.com for $250 a month. He was very helpful selling however I have not had any success for 5 months now and he said he would be available all along the way and would change plans if nothing came from the leads. I have called mike moses over 8 times and customer service at realtor.com 4 times and have not been helped. Mike said bill his supervisor would be calling me over 10 days ago and 5 voice mails on mike moses's phone have produced nothing. Realtor.com has offered no help and has not lived up to their part of the deal. They called me right away when my credit card had a problem but never when I needed help. I would like some personal help like I was promised or the contract cancelled early due to their negligence.

Realtor.com be careful

If you want to risk your money, then it's the right place for you. They will never work with you until you agree to pay them the whole amount of money before they do something: be it selling or purchasing a house. Read the contract carefully along with the smallest words and ask questions if you misunderstood something. Don't let them fool you around and get your money for nothing.

Realtor.com lead program

I am a former employee of Realtor.com who is seeking justice for the horrible/illegal business practices. Mediation set for Nov. 2017. I was terminated for not wanting to participate in the lies. If you have been taken advantage of by Realtor.com in anyway, now is the time to help stop the VP of sales. He runs the illegal cash ring there and makes close to $100k a month taking advantage of you. My lawyer would love to talk to anyone of you as we are preparing for mediation.

Realtor.com misleading information regarding their service

I signed up with realtor.com on March 18th 2017 to get leads. when I called Anthony (my sales rep) I specifically asked about their contracts, how long do I have to be in contract with them. I was worried about not liking the service and not being able to cancel. He told me "there is no contracts, you can cancel at any time" so I agreed to it. I NEVER received a welcome email with the terms of this deal, an email with tools to help me work my leads or any information regarding my sales rep such as how to contact him. a few weeks went by and someone from customer service called me and left a message, I called back and asked why haven't I get any leads, well they had the wrong email address, so I thought it was fixed then I got a lead or two (which weren't any good) then I got another phone call from them again. they still had my all email address. Anyways I'm not getting the results THEY PROMISED so I call today trying to cancel and all I got was transferred twice to two completely random people and I was even tried to say that I was lying about the email address being wrong because he had nothing on his file about that, He said I was on a contract for 12 months (which I don't have any record of nor did I signed a contract) his name is Christian and he said to me "do whatever you want WE ARE NOT CANCELLING THE SERVICE and that I signed to get leads not closings" WHAT THE HELL? How am I supposed to get money, from leads if I don't go to closing with them?
I am not happy with the service, I'm not getting what I was promised I would and as of today I consider my contract cancel.

I'm submitting a complain with the BBB.org and I will cancel my withdrawals from realtor.com

I'm dealing with the same issue. I cancelled within 3 days via their policy and still couldn't get it done. I'm going to completely switch banks so that I can stop the deductions. Their website actually states that we give the bank permission to give them our account information if we try to change the account.
I too dealt with Anthony. What a racket! How is there not a class action lawsuit over this yet? I think we need to find an attorney.

Realtor.com lead generation

I will never sign up for a lead generation program with Realtor.com ever again. The customer service is terrible, they tell you that you will recieve X amount of leads and you end up getting several duplicates, I have called several times to verify when the contract will be up and the dates keep changing (how I don;t know) I was paying almost $600 a month for a year and maybe sold 4 off of the leads. Should have sold waaaayyyy more! Never again.

Realtor.com discrimination on disabled man.

I have contact three realtor>com and all have refused my buying or never called back. 1 of them a realtor refused to even return two calls but a text. She finally returned the call and informed she's not qualified to answer any question as she had to much to drink and was drunk. This was so wrong so I tried a different one. I gave her all what i'm looking for both business and home. Her quote was great I have a commercial broker that do the commercial and she handle the home. There was never a return call or email with the homes. Yesterday I searched for another broker or agent ann gladly too my challenge and contacted after two showings and informed she would call later. This was a lye and when I tented her she never called back or even tried. I tented her and asked her why. "she was tired and just got home" funny I waited for that call and never called. Her actions are a violation of my ada rights and is a federal crime. Give me a hill billy with no teeth and they will do there best to get the job done. This realtor is a scam and a joke big time. I think a federal inquire needs to investigate the crimes going on.

Realtor.com unauthorized credit card charges

I am writing another complaint on Realtor.com. On May 23, 2016 I contacted realtor.com to obtain leads for my real estate business. I was told by Greg Libby that I had 3 days to cancel if I was unhappy with the product. I cancelled my product the very next day by phone with my credit card company on the line with me. I cancelled because realtor.com charged my card twice by mistake. I called because I wanted to confirm by phone call to realtor.com with my credit card company that I cancelled. Once we spoke to the representative and cancelled I hung up. Realtor.com stopped sending me leads and then in June they started sending leads again. I contacted them and told them that I cancelled and they stated that they had no record of that. Realtor.com stated that I only called and requested that they stop billing my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they had it in the notes that I called. My credit card company cancelled my account and issued me a new card and number because realtor.com continued to send leads and bill my card. I received a letter today stating that they are disputing my charges for June 2016 because they sent me leads. I have my telephone calls, a email from Mr. Libby stating I cancelled and they are still calling me for payment for June of 2016.

Can someone please stop this unethical behavior of realtor.com. They say one thing and then do another. I cancelled within the 3 day cancellation period and this has been a nightmare since May. My credit card company is requesting my telephone bill to show how many times I contacted realtor.com. They charged me 79.00 dollars for June and I did not utilize any of their products in June. They continued to send the lead information although they knew I cancelled my subscription on May 24, 2016 so that they could get paid.

They are now calling me requesting a payment of $191.00 dollars for June when I did not receive any products. I called them in May and June requesting them to stop sending me leads. I have a letter that I wrote to my credit card company in regards to this dispute. I want the harassment to stop. I want them to return the 79.00 dollars they charged me in June.

I can provide you any documentation you need including the dispute I sent. to my credit card company

Realtor.com new update

Their latest update is a complete nightmare! www.realtor.com was great in the past but after they updated their app it gave me nothing but headache. It is the slowest site you can imagine and it is absolutely impossible to use it. When you're clicking somewhere it takes over a minute to load the page and sometimes it freezes and all you can do is refresh the page. I can' t use this site!
I was a Realtor user since 2013 and loved this site. The person who worked on this new update must me crazy! They destroyed everything!
And I'm not the only one who thinks that way, just look at all the reviews online.
