Ramada Bed bugs

Ramada Hotel Management
Subject: Bed Bugs
August 19, 2019
Dear Management,
It is to formally lodge a complaint against your Ramada by Wyndham Anaheim Convention Center Hotel located at 2141 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92802 services being provided to Me and my family. We stayed in your hotel this month of August 17th in room #320. I can not express my disappointment, disgust, and concern from staying at this hotel.
Please know that I do not write letters of complaint, but in this instance I could not set aside the anguish of me & my family caused by the stay at your (above mentioned) Hotel . Upon our entry to the room, we noticed a strong unclean an unpleasant odor in our Room. (We left the room shortly after dropping off our luggage). We later arrived at our hotel past midnight. Disappointingly we woke up exhausted the morning of 8/18/19 to bed bug bites & bed bugs in room #320. It was baffling & disconcerting that there was evidence that these bugs have been existent in this room for some time.
My family and myself quickly did our best to examine ourselves and our belongings and followed by quickly removing ourselves and our belongings from this location. But not before requesting to speak with the Manager.
The Manager at this location stated she would formalize my complaint and I would receive a phone call within the week of 8/19/19 -8/23/19. Also I have included pictures with this e-mail to address the urgency in coming to a consensus and resolving this matter.
Respectfully,

Karla Celis

Ramada room

I posted a complaint on August 13, 2019 and have not heard anything back in a week. How long does this process usually take? I would like to give Ramada/Wyndham a chance to resolve this issue, but at this point I'm thinking that a charge-back on my credit card would probably go faster. I am attaching photos of the original post that I submitted so that I don't have to re-type the complaint.

Thank you,
Jaycie Robinson

Ramada inn, staff, & cleanliness

These units can not be described as a hotel, inn or motel! The rooms were disgusting!
We booked 6 rooms for 3 nights on March 10, 2019.
We arrive in Anchorage at 8:30pm. We were picked up by their shuttle at about 8:50 pm and arrive at the location at about 9:10pm to the start of disappointment!
First they had issues in finding rooms to be group together.
Two available rooms were not ready and need to be made up (at 9pm!)
The rooms that were available were filthy! None were fit for habitation!
None had working air conditions! The brackets or shelves that house the AC units were missing screws. Some brackets were barely hanging on. 5 of the rooms had none working AC units. Some had portable fans.
We were shown a few rooms on the third floor (the top floor) with no AC units that work. It felt like a hot sauna at about 110 degree.
When I inquire about fans for the rooms at the front desk. These were some of the responses:
1. We have no fans available! But there were TWO (2) units directly behind the 2 desk clerks that were generating a lot of air movement!
2. Well, you are checking in "LATE"! I reminded this jerk! We made reservation a few months ago for these 6 rooms!
VERY rude and condescending!
Getting back to the rooms.
All had exposed conduits. A number of the rooms smell like a active smoking parlor.
Rugs were old and filthy.
Baseboards were barely mounted in 6 of the rooms we saw.
Holes in the furniture like they were reclaimed from Goodwill store. rusting all over the bathroom and an air conditioner hanging off the wall that didn't work.
Rooms was filled of smoke residue. The response: "was that customer do smoke and we have no control". There is a large sign posted "This is a Non-smoking" establishment. Ha!
Seeing that we could not get any resolution to rooms that will afford us a decent 3 days stay.
We guess Ramada does need our business nor our cash!
We decided to find another avenue of rooming at 11:50am.

We were too frustrated to take photos.

The registration was under Sally Wong and Mary Lopez.
Our period of stay was July 3 through July 6. 2019.

Ramada garbage bin relocation

This Ramada has moved their garbage dumpster last week. It was previously located near 2 identical others in a corner location out of the way. Now it is a disgusting nuisance being put in a location directly in front of the parking area of a new 4 story 38 unit apartment building. 19 units on 4 floors directly face this garbage bin and look outside their living room window at it. Every late night and early morning of the week dumpster garbage pickers go through the contents making noise and leaving the lid open for scavenger crows to fly in and pick at the garbage all day. The Ramada needs to put this garbage dumpster back where it was.

Ramada the room and the service and the price!

4 night stay starting on 8/8/19. We stayed in Room 104 and had to wrestle with the door every time we used it. My sister is disabled and I had to open the door for her every time we used it because she could not. You had to throw your whole weight into it to get it to open. Also to lock the deadbolt at night you had to play with it for several minutes to get it to connect. Bed was hard as a rock and every morning you felt like you had been beat up. I found a pair of the previous tenant's underwear that had been balled up and were in the corner when we first checked in. Maids are rushing too much to properly clean. The maids also forgot to leave us soap the last day they cleaned our room. Lampshades are stained and dirty. Stained places on the ceiling and an opening with wires which looked like a light used to be there or the previous place for the smoke alarm. Bathtub was stained and peeling. Price was high for what you get. Very noisy neighborhood. Website said that breakfast started at 6:30 am but they never opened until 7:00 am. Update the website if you change the hours! I mentioned this to the Manager Jay and he was a bit rude. He didn't seem to care if you complained. Also the website said that they had safes in the room and you would be charged if you used them. We were charged for the use but we NEVER even used the safe! When checking out I had to insist for a copy of the statement so I could check the charges. They want you to just turn in the keys and go on your way so you won't find out that they were charging you for extra things! Breakfast was mediocre. Waffles were fine but they only provided boiled eggs. Danish was packaged Svenhard's brand bought at Costco. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies. I would give it zero stars but the rating system won't let me. I had family staying here in 2 other rooms and those rooms were just as bad or even worse! Giving Ramada and Wyndham a BAD name!

Ramada the "non-smoking" room was not suitable to stay in (filthy, smokey)

I booked a Ramada near Denver for my family for the night of July 26, 2019-July 27, 2019. After checking in we realized that the rooms we were offered were not suitable for our family. We immediately looked for another hotel to stay in and left as soon as we had one booked.

This hotel was so terrible we could not even stay the night. The room we were given at check-in smelled terribly of smoke (likely pot) and did not have enough beds to accommodate our party of 6 (the sofa bed was missing). I requested a new room that had not been smoked in and which had enough beds. The new room did have a sofa bed but it smelled even worse than the first, and the carpet and furnishings were so soiled that I did not even want to put our luggage on the floor. I was traveling with my children (ages 5, 8, 10), my husband, and my mother-in-law (age 72). We knew we could not stay in this hotel but doubted whether we could find another one in Denver on a Friday night to accommodate 6 guests. Luckily we found one near-by for a small amount more than we had booked the Ramada for (previous to that, the Ramada was the most expensive hotel of our 11-night trip and by far the worst). As soon as I booked the other hotel we packed out our luggage and I turned in both sets of keys. I informed the front desk that we could not stay the night. They asked why and I explained. I was not offered a receipt so I thought that perhaps I would not be charged, but the charge did indeed show up on my credit card.

I have stayed in Ramadas before and this was far from the quality that I was expecting. This was a nightmare even for a Motel 6. The staff was very accommodating and I have no complaints about them other than being charged for the room. I have never walked out of a hotel before, but these suites were obviously used for party rooms and were not suitable for my family to stay in.

I am requesting a full refund for this room. Please do not offer a free night. I highly recommend you look into this property. It should not be part of the Ramada franchise.

Ramada staying at ramada prague city centre 4/8/19-7/8/19

We stayed at Ramada Prague City Centre for 3 nights on 4-7 august 2019 .
We had 3 rooms for me, my wife and our 5 daughters (305, 306, 307) and we paid for that 32, 045.50 czk (about 1, 300 euro) for 3 nights.
Generally the hotel was nice, the staff were really good. But we had two events that made our staying very uncomfortable:
1. One of our rooms (305) was not air conditioned, the other (306) was working but not well. Only one (307) was working well. Although we ask the reception to fix it, nothing was done (we got one small fan ). So the three august nights we spent without a proper air-condition.
2. On the 5 to august night (at about 11 p.m), some drunk guy starts making Terrible noise near our rooms, shouting and knocking on all of the third flour walls, even on the on the elevator's doors. Actually he broke the elevator's door, which was not working for 3 days. After we talked to the reception, the local police arrived, but the guy steel stayed at the hotel. At 1.00 am he even tries to entered our daughters room, knocking and shouting at their door! .
Our daughters were terrified and could not even sleep for two nights ahead.
- Because of all that, we expect you to to consider any Compensation for our not enjoyable stay at RAMADA hotel.
- It is needless to say what is our feedback for our vacation at the Ramada hotel.
Thank you, Danny & Iris Haberman

My wife and I staid at the Ramada at 3340 w us hwy 90 in Lake City Fl. On Sunday 8/18
Although the room was OK, when we walked in my wife slipped and nearly fell when she walked into the bathroom because the floor was all wet. We put a towel on the floor and found out, when my wife took a shower that there was water UNDER the tub so when one stepped into the tub you thought you were on a boat. The base of the tub appeared to be very thin and moved wildly under foot so that you hat to hold the grab bar to keep from falling. Evidently water was squized from under the tub onto the floor. Also the stopper in the sink was disconnected from the control rod which caused the water not to drain. I coukd not even lift the stopper manually.
This condition was not new, the tub, in particular was in bad condition with cracks by the drain which i suspect is how water got under the tub. I never saw anything like it.
The gentleman at the desk did not appear to be concerned about this, but thanked me for the feedback and told me he would have it looked at. I am certain we were not the first to report it and since nothing was done to fix this dangerous condition I lt compelled to escalate the complaint and hopfully prevent an accident and subsequent law suit.
The room number is 106.

Sincerely. SERGIO PRIBAZ

Ramada wrongly charged for room that wasn't used

Hi,
My name is Nidhi narula and my wedding was on July 10 at Ramada, Dehradun. We were provided one complimentary room which was checked in by giving ID to the hotel staff. My stuff was kept in that room, later around midnight, we were asked to change that complimentary room and were given another one instead of it. However, we were again asked to provide the ID which we gave but this time it was under Mr Kush (our guest Id) because my parents were busy in wedding rituals. The stuff was shifted to that room but no one stayed in complimentary room.
Now, the issue is we were told that we checked in to two rooms, one was complimentary and another one by our guest. This certainly is not true, as we checked in one room where we only kept our stuff and later the room was shifted on request of hotel staff ( Mr Kalyan, assistant manager) was the person who knows that room was asked to change . Therefore, how can we be charged for the room which neither we or guest used. I asked hotel manager, Mr Ankur to show me the footage and get into this matter but it's not resolved yet.
I request you to kindly look into the matter as it is totally unjustified and after getting everything good at my wedding from Ramada, I am facing disappointment of this issue . Amount is only Rs 5000 approx but it's not about money it's about getting wrongly charged for not our fault and management is not able to justify it . Therefore, we are forced to accept this by the Ramada management.
I, have full rights to know about the fact and Ramada management is liable to provide me a reasonable answer for the issue raised .
I expect cooperation from Ramada higher management,

Thanking you,
Nidhi narula

Ramada my entire stay! my privacy was invaded and I had items stolen

First when I got to the hotel. My room wasn't ready
Me and my girlfriend were put into a different room until the next morning. They told us to come down to the desk in the morning and they'll give us a new room. The morning came and the room still wasn't ready so I went to the front desk more than one time and told them that we were leaving out and that when the room is ready someone needs to give me a call so we can come and move our things.
I never received a call! I called the hotel after about 6 hours and they said ok yes your room is ready
So we get back to the hotel and I go to the desk to ask about my room and they say ohhh ok yes we're gonna set you up with your room and your things are back here behind the desk!
First of y'all their was a do not disturb sign on the door and specifically told them to call em so I can move my own things. So we get our belongings and go to our new room and we find out that we have multiple items missing. We complained to the manager of the hotel and the guy has not gotten back with me about anything and still had the nerve to make me pay for one of the nights! Please someone at the corporate level reach out to me

Ramada booked room not refunded

My husband and I decided this year we would do a road trip though some of the states this summer. Being from Canada we thought this would be a great way to vacation. While staying in Fort Pierre, SD on our way to Mt. Rushmore we booked a room online at the Ramada Inn in Keystone as it was close to Mt. Rushmore. We had made a mistake when doing so. It had booked it For August 8th and we needed August 1st. We realized right away and changed it. Today is now August 6th and my husband received an email asking to verify our booking. My husband phoned the Ramada in Keystone to tell her that we did not need it and it was supposed to change to 1st as that was the date we stayed. The lady informed him that she could not do it herself that he would need to talk to the manager. She also mentioned that rooms are not usually refunded on Sturgis week but should be able to as there was nothing on the site indicating so. We did not know when Sturgis week was at the time when we booked the room. My husband did phone the manager and tried to explain our situation but was hung up on. He tried a couple more times and was hung up on. We are very reasonable people and can see how certain rules are put in place due to special weeks like Sturgis. I am quite shocked that instead of trying to resolve problem, this person(and I do have a first name) would hang up on someone like that. I really do believe we should not be charged for this room as we changed the date right away. And when we booked it said nothing about Sturgis week. Rooms had to be canceled before 24 hours of the booked date. Well this is more than 24 hours.

Ramada harassment to a senior citizen cum veteran n his son in providing gym services. membership no 276

We were paying for swim pool n gym fee for the last two years @ annually Rs 24000+taxes / service. These services were since Ramada came into existence in Ajmer Rajasthan India.
All of a sudden the gym services were unilaterally stopped.
The swim services were not stopped.
Then they hiked the fees to Rs 30000+taxes / service .
I requested them to pay in two instalments but in vain.
No concessions were given to me as a veteran n International Weightlifter despite the written instructions by GOI. Manish stated he will not give any concession.
They stated that they want to discontinue gym services since my son is the only member.
We are club members too with membership # 276.
I requested them to allow payment in two instalments but refused by Manish.
This arrogant n ungentlemanly behaviour is highly unwarranted n the Wyndham Management must resolve the issue before I take it to consumers forum.
Request an early redressal that I be allowed to pay to pay the same fee in two instalments.
Also how can they change the fees twice in a year or so. The club membership expires on 31 October 19
My son's membership file is also pending for refund from AHMSPL as they had given two memberships.
Regards
Col Dr Rakesh Sharma

Ramada room

Pins my daughter almost stepped on. Which I will not even go into how dangerous that is because someone couldn't even sweep. We had to change our sheets. Mopped our own floor because the front desk clerk gave me a extra towel to make a pathway. When your front desk clerk is embarrassed something is wrong. Absolutely disgusting! I could go on but pictures are worth 1, 000 words. Owners would not make it right. The current reviews are so accurate and should be listened too. I dont even think anyone cares about how the guests and this hotel is running.

Ramada dirty rooms and poor hotel response for rooms 116 & 118 on 8/2-8/3/19

Hello C. Gaetaram (manager at Ramada Hawthorne)

My name is Darling Zamora, my phone number is [protected] and my email is [protected]@yahoo.com.

I'm staying with my family tonight and have been very disappointed with the conditions of the rooms we were given.

Today, I arrived to room 118 to a clogged toilet and no toilet paper in the bathroom. I attempted to call the front desk, but there is no phone in either rooms. Inline image

Room 118 has a stench of urine on the carpet. Bathroom is very grimy and dirty. See attached pictures that demonstrate the conditions of the bathroom floors.

In room 116, the stench of sewage is overbearing and room floors and walls are very dirty.

At this moment I'm am looking for a full refund for these rooms. I've have stayed at other Ramada hotels, but have not found them in these poorly managed conditions.

Please respond to my complaint, as soon as possible. I will be checking out tomorrow morning.

Sincerely,

Darling Zamora

Ramada bugs/bad management /refund not received.

We Made a reservation online through wyndhamhotels.com 7/30/19 for the ramada in Shreveport, LA. We reserved a king deluxe room upon arriving they told us we only have double beds due to renovation i understood and accepted that and checked in farther. We got through and we were told the elevators do not work so we have to climb 4 floors to get to our room when we finally got to our room there was two bugs in bathroom and a roach behind tv in living room so we called down to front desk they said we couldn't get a refund and had to talk to management since we were past our cancellation time i said we will be down and checking out.Prior to the next day i called the manager 7/31/19 i discussed with the manager and told him what happened and explained we got a double and not king and there is bugs in the room he said okay we will give you a refund back to your credit card i said okay there was no sorry or how can i make it better nothing so not impressed with this hotel its a shame for being a ramada also. Now since he didn't take more action we have to go through our credit card dispute center and we have to explain since the management could care less..

Ramada accommodations & managerial staff complaint

On 7/28/19 my husband and two teenage kids checked into this location. I (mom/wife) had planned the family vacation but was unable to attend due to a family emergency. I made the reservations through Expedia.com for a three night stay. My family checked in at 2:58 p.m on Sunday 7/28 and I did not have a chance to speak with my husband until later that evening around 10:00 p.m. to see how their first 1/2 day in Kittery, ME had been. When he described shopping and dining in Kittery he was upbeat, but when I questioned about the hotel accommodations, he hesitated. So I knew something was wrong, but he didn't want to tell me because of what I was dealing with back in NY. But I probed further and he told me that they had planned to check out in the morning and look for other accommodations but they didn't want to trouble me. But because this was pre-paid through Expedia.com (my first experience using this sort of reservation system), I told him I would contact Expedia immediately to see what our options were for getting the remainder of the pre-paid stay refunded. I didn't know what our options would be. When I contacted Expedia, they sent me an email to rate the hotel & experience with the Ramada/ Wyndham, so I did based on what my family had told me - I have sad faces to each question, used disgusting to describe the hotel, and indicated that my family would like to check out in the morning. So part of Expedia's resolution is to contact the hotel to see what the hotel is willing to do. I offered that my husband did not want another room, it was the facility in general that was dirty / smelled /and mold growing all over the ice machine / plus smoking in the eating area / pool filtration system not working - gobs of giant hairballs floating in the pool / location was directly next to a truckstop / just overall disgusting. So while I was on hold with Expedia, and they were talking with David the nighttime manager on the other line, David was able to read my Expedia review, and became outraged - and somehow Expedia conferenced me in and David was furious with me, demanding to know what my problem was, why we didn't like his hotel, he was an absolute maniac. He was hostile, threatening, out of control, in serious need of anger management, and now I am fearful for my family that is sleeping in the hotel at that moment and I am 7 hours away. When David saw that my family was going to check out in the morning, he demanded that I get my family out of the hotel immediately! He was screaming at me that if we think his place is disgusting - GET OUT NOW and you get all your money back! My experience with this man was horrible and I tried to talk him down, because I didn't know if there was a hotel available for my family at this time of night in Maine, and my kids were already asleep. He kept telling me get the hell out! I was scared. I hung up, quickly called Expedia back. The next agent I spoke with was able to see in their notes that the manager /David was hostile and quite upset / and had told us to get out immediately and we wouldn't get charged anything we would get a full refund. Expedia said they were calling him back - and I said - please get my Expedia review unposted. This guy is furious with me, my family is in his hotel! They got back on the line with him, then again with me, and Expedia confirmed that we wouldn't be charged a single cent but we needed to get out of the hotel. So I text my husband to see if he was ready to get the kids out of there - I told him that the manager was flipping out and that he was kicking us out - my husband immediately woke up the kids, starting packing and in the meantime I was able to reserve a room down the road at the Hampton Inn & Suites / Kittery, ME. I advised my husband to have all their cell phones on record when they checked out because I thought for sure David was going to harass my family so they did record the checkout. Fortunately David did not come to the front desk when my family checked out, but John could see him in the other room, visible agitated and pacing. But the desk clerk did apologize for the inconvenience and did reiterate that we would NOT BE CHARGED because we were living immediately as agreed - AND I HAVE THIS VIDEO RECORDED IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT! Unfortunately, by the next day - David and the Ramada /Wyndam Kittery, ME managerial team decided that we didn't deserve a full refund and he charged us for the night that he kicked us out! Needless to say, I drove to Maine the next day - yes - I drove to Maine because I was not going to stand for this! And I had 4 more conversations with Expedia, called the Kittery, ME Police Department and they advised me how to go about getting my full refund through Expedia. The officer also told me that he wasn't surprised at the experience I had with David / Ramada Kittery, ME, oh - and neither was the staff at our new hotel. Overall comments from Kittery residents as we discussed our experience multiple times is that they don't know who the Ramada name continues to be on this establishment. I would like a serious inquiry into what happened to us at your establishment. The internerary # from Expedia.com is [protected]. My name is Cheris Fox. My phone is [protected]. I do expect to be contacted by your corporation and I certainly want to thank you in advance for looking into this matter for me.

Ramada motel stay at ramada quesnel bc

We were so disappointed with our recent 3 night stay that a bad review online simply isnt enough. If the Ramada chain is putting its name behind this location, your standards have seriously dropped. Our experience should have cost the equivalent to a hostel. So far below normal Ramada standards.

Pool and hot tub facilities: utterly disgusting. Dirt caked on the floor, lighting not working, hot tub timer jets not working so water not properly circulating and scum on top of water.
Room key had to be exchanged every day for a new one that worked.
Homeless diving in the dumpster 24/7. There was never a time we walked past the dumpster that there wasnt someone in it. Why isnt it locked to keep them away from your full parking lot (vehicle break ins are crimes of opportunity).
Room not cleaned every day.

Ramada ramada by wyndham anchorage hotel

Reserved four rooms in Anchorage for multiple nights. Had to cancel stay due to state of rooms. Carpets were stained, white exterior bed sheet had stains, windows did not have screens and did not latch closed. The phone was missing upper buttons but still in the room. A prime example of furnishings in a room that are no longer functional but still in the room. I found it so odd I took a photo. I wish I took more photos to submit but was in a hurry to find alternative last minute lodging. I booked these rooms based on my previous experience with Ramada as offering a trustworthy product. I am no longer confident that a stay at a Ramada hotel is good idea given this representation of this property.

Ramada no customer services at all and no return call as promised

We have been staying at the Ramada Encore Hotel, Newcastle since 2014. I have always used a Wyndham Rewards Card and our rooms have either been booked under the name of Hicks or Edmonds using the Member No: 162894849F.

After our last visit in 2018 I checked and none of our points had been sent to have our points balance updated.

I rang Wyndham Rewards regarding this and I was informed I needed to contact the hotel. This I did and I was passed onto a Manager who took all my details. These included the dates of our stay since 2014, our hotel receipts and my contact details. To date not one person has had the courtesy to ring, which is totally unacceptable and completed incompetent.

I have rang Wyndham Rewards again today who still confirmed the same. There are still points outstanding but I was informed they would not be able to add these now.

I spoke to the General Manager of the Ramada Encore Newcastle and explained the situation. I was hoping for help, not rudeness and attitude which is all she was able to offer. I also explained that I had confirmed out dates as these were recorded in my diary and her colleague had taken all the details so the relevant points could be applied to this membership number. Her answer was - well you will just have to find the information again. I have already done this and I am not digging out my old diaries in my loft when the Ramada Encore Newcastle already have it.

I must admit we have never had a problem during our stay and plan to visit later this year. However, I did notice the poor star rating this hotel gets because of poor service. I am not surprised if the ethos of the management is to show incompetence, no regard to customers and to offer no customer service.

Wyndham Rewards also gave me the telephone number of Ramada Customer Services, but this number did not work. What on earth is going on with Ramada now?

Can you inform me how many points will be added and when as this may help with out next visit. That is the idea of your rewards isn't it?

Please rind me urgently - [protected].
