Ramada room leaks and no compensation made

My husband and 2 young daughters stayed at the Ramada Inn in Angola, IN Dec 26 to Dec 28. The pool had salt water which hurt the yes of my girls, the side door 3 did not have a lock on it and anyone could have come in at any time and not seen. We reserved a suite with a king bed and couch, coffee table and the other room had 2 double beds. We had 3 leaks above the bed of one of my daughters. I tried to call the desk and our room phone did not work so my husband went down to the desk at 11:30 pm and they moved to the handicap suite which did not have a table or couch and no counter space in the bathroom. The manager was nice but no other compensation was given. The whole building looked old and none of the doors to the stairs latched. We paid over $300 for 2 nights and we felt we should have received a refund for one night for the trouble it caused. We did not get settled and to sleep till almost 1 am by the time we moved all our stuff down a floor without an elevator. We would appreciate a refund for one night, not a free night because we will not be traveling again for a long time.

Ramada Laundry

I had stayed at Ramada Neemrana from 13 Dec to 16 Dec 21 in Room No 405.
I had given a pastel green shirt for washing on 14 Dec 21.
However on receipt it appeared to be greyish black.

On enquiry, it was told that the shirt was washed with jeans and it had got discoloured. They did attempt to get it back into same colour however the same had failed and the shirt cannot be worn anymore.

Ramada Refund

11-13-2021-asked desk person for room on main level with parking in front of room-on looking at room, it was in inner hall, went back to cancel, was told manager had to handle. We stayed some place else. I have left 5-6 messages to no avail. Manager never at site and has not called-very poor service. At this point I just plan to make noise until handled. I have filed a case with credit card company-I have used the wyndham family a lot over last 8 years, that will stop

Ramada horrible accommodations

Arrived Nov. 18 at approx. 8pm after a long drive. The receptionist was pleasant. As I walk in the room did not have time to inspect because my daughter came to see me, after she left, I tried to call the reception desk and the phone was destroyed and inoperable, I was tired as I drove over 16 hours, Was woke up by people talking on the side of the building and hallway. There were no soap to take a bath, the sink faucet was loose, dirty shower. Room was dirty and smelly... I tried to make coffee and the coffee maker leak all hot water from the bottom. Refrigerator did not cool at all... I vacated Nov. 18 at 9am... After check out, my service dog was jumped by another guess dog that got loose from his room...

This was a really bad experience, I has stayed on Ramada's around the USA and in Qatar, but this was not a Ramada, this was Motel Ramada ... If I wanted to stay in a Motel, I would has look for one, never expected this from a Ramada by Windham...Sad

Your Feedback : I am writing today to express my displeasure with your facility and to see if you will do the correct thing and refund my money.
Let me start by saying the two people at the front desk were more than helpful and obviously over worked. I can not give you all the details that I have because you are limiting me in this forum. I would like an email to send my full experience to you. I will await your response.

Files this with the Hotel on 8/17/21 and have had no response other than the garbage robo response that it will be looked at and I will hear something in 7-10 days. I have not heard a word and Now I am angry that you dont have the respect to even respond. Terrible service.

Ramada To whom this may concern..

My husband and I stayed at the Kelowna, BC. Ramada Inn for two nights (17th, 18th) of September. We were not greeting well, in fact the young man at the desk hardly looked us in the eyes but more engrossed with his phone.

We were told nothing more than if we needed something dial zero, and so off we went and checked into room #302. Our room was stale, but we pressed on. The carpets were dirty, it was not dusted and all the clocks had to be reset by us.
That evening we turned down the bed to find hair; obviously not ours, on the pillows. I called and informed the person at the desk, but no one came to change the pillows. We slept without them for the night..

We were out of our room early, as my husband and I were attending a golf tournament. Upon returning later that evening we found our room had not been touched. After clearly stating and expecting it to be cleaned and fresh linen to be replaced. Once again we were let down by the Ramada Inn staff and slept rather uncomfortably.

The next day upon checking out of the hotel we informed a different young man what we had been dealing with, without looking up from the desk his only words were "I'm sorry to hear about that" "our policy during covid is we do not supply that service" and "you were told upon checking in" We were not told any such things, still not looking at us we were shocked by the none interested tone in his voice as we were told to have a nice day.
Which sounded more like (get lost and stop bothering me.) We left very unhappy and felt we should not be spending full price for no services, Covid or not we all should be getting what we pay for, no excuses. What a disgrace how far standards have fallen. Not to mention simple polite manners and customer service.

Desired outcome: Compensation for the terrible two nights sleep we both endured.

Ramada Hotel room

On Saturday, 28th August my family and I stayed at Ramada Park Hall Hotel for 2 nights in room 110. We checked in at approximately 10.30pm after a family pre wedding party. I mentioned to the receptionist at the time the valve on the bathroom thermostatic mixer was stuck in the bathroom filler position and the chrome top cover missing. (see attached photos). After a long day you can imagine neither of us had a chance of having a shower other than a bath.

On the first night we requested a staff member on duty to see to this problem and we were told it will be rectified the next day. We were not given the option to be moved to another room.

The following day Sunday, 29th August we left the hotel to our function at 8.30am and on the way out again I made the receptionist aware of this problem and we were assured it will be rectified on the day. We returned at approximately 7.00pm looking forward to a warm shower after a hot and eventful day, to our disappointment nothing was done about it. Now reporting this for the 3rd time I was again told "we will send someone to have a look at it again within 30mins" but to no avail. I then personally went back to reception and this time I was told there was no maintenance staff available until the next day (Monday, 30th August) the day we were checking out.

I asked to speak to management and no one was available until the next morning. On the morning of Monday, 30th August I requested to speak to the duty manager, Tom who took notes about this issue. He promised to get back to me on the same day after carrying out his own investigations. I received a call from Tom and was informed by him that his findings were satisfactory and there was nothing else he could do for us and the amount of £169 we paid for 2 nights was satisfactory without breakfast.

The above response received by Tom is not acceptable on my part and therefore would like to take this matter further, hence the reason am filing a complaint to Expedia to look into this matter. I would appreciate if you could provide us with a reasonable compensation for not making our stay comfortable and worthwhile. This caused us great disappointment as we booked this in advance after reading good reviews about the hotel, but this hasn't been the case for me and my family.

I believe under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
Of satisfactory quality - The goods must not be broken or faulty. The legislation explains that they must meet the standard that a reasonable person would consider satisfactory.

As described- The goods must match the seller's description and what is being advertised.

As such, I am legally entitled to receive compensation from you and look forward from hearing from you soon.

Ramada Owner- regarding a refund / Room conditions

I booked a stay at the Ramada in Hendersonville NC. I prepaid through expedia and upon check out I was Charged for the two nights I had already paid for. I spoke with two different individuals that confirmed I should not have been charged by the hotel since I pre-paid through expedia. No manager on site just an owner that the employees have to wait and hear from with issues. I have an email from her personal email on 8/29 @1:30pm stating I would get refund but calls me today and said that was not her and just an employee that informed me wrong. The owner finally contacted me and said they were not giving me a refund because my debit card was listed on my expedia receipt. One of the front desk workers stated they can clearly see it was an error on their end and that this has happened before and took the other customer forever to get a refund. The room conditions were also nasty. Had to wear shoes the carpet was damp, smelled musky and had to buy febreeze to spray. The bathroom tub had orange stains all on the bottom and was covered with a tub mat.

Ramada My wedding weekend stay

Dear Ramada Cooperate Office,

I am not sending this email to cooperate because I originally sent this email to The Ramada of Vineland and received not a word back and I am very upset about my stay/wedding day. Here is why.

I want to start out by saying thank you for trying to accommodate our wedding on Aug 14, 2021. Though I do have some concerns I want to address First to start I called to see if I can check in an hour early it ended up only being a few minutes early that I did end up checking in. I do want to address the one house keeper lady really helped by bringing all my wedding totes and luggage into my room. Once all my belongings were in the room I noticed they never gave me the jacuzzi suit. Now when I went down to let them know Judy was telling me she never said she was giving me the room for 2 nights in a row I understood the comp was just for the wedding night but I was told I can have the room 2 nights Friday and Saturday. I was to pay for Friday and your establishment was comping me for Saturday. Whatever the room wasn't clean so I wasn't able to get into my room until like 4pm I had to be at rehearsal dinner at 5pm. The one thing I didn't appreciate was Judy telling me things I said which I didn't. She did this multiple times throughout my 2 days stay. There was a lot of I can have this and that and she went back on her words a few times. Anyway the house keeper Karen really did her thing to make sure I got the room as soon as possible.

Now my family had also gotten rooms Friday night. My grandmothers room the floor was still very dirty there was a pile of crumbs behind the door. The hall ways stayed a mess the entire stay. My sisters room the AC wasn't working and it stunk so bad. She notified the front desk and no-one ever came. I was trying to relax in the jacuzzi but was worried about my sister brother in law nephew and niece sweating to death so I called myself to get someone to figure out the air situation. The owner I believe finally showed up and went into the room to fix it and told them to see what happens pretty much making them wait until the morning to switch out rooms. Mind you this was supposed to be the grooms room in the am to get ready in. So the air never got fixed I called again they finally switched them to an upstairs room around midnight. This room smelled gross and had crunchy towels like used and left in the room. Mind you now we had to help them move a whole family of 4 up a flight of stairs with no elevator. The front lobby smells like covered up marijuana and not the good kind. The ice machine didn't work on the first floor my grandparents had to go the bar for ice.

Now onto Saturday. I thought this whole time of me getting to know Judy and Cassie that Judy was going to be my day of planner. I barely seen Judy and had Nilsa all day. Like I did say Judy puts words into my mouth I explained exactly where I wanted my arch even other heard our convo to Judy. Again arguing with me that I told her I wanted my arch IN front of the gazebo which I never did. I told her and everyone around heard me telling her and Nilsa I wanted to walk under my arch and Judy even said she would put the tool on the gazebo. Argued with me about it.

Next the balloons were supposed to be hung in the room where the buffet was and they simply said they couldn't do it. My sister ended up getting Nilsa to put them up. They left all the stuff on the piano that was supposed to get cleaned up and put away but instead it was left out for my guest to see.

The air out in the ballroom area where we were waiting to walk to the ceremony was completely off. My bridal party was sweating before we even got outside. The air in the Fairmount was horrible I had to change out of my expensive wedding gown. My guest were so uncomfortable in there. I had my brother in law go get me a little fan. The cheese and fruit trays were hidden in the other room so not many guest got that because Judy should have been there telling people what to do. SHE PROMISED ME SHE WAS GOING TO BE THERE FROM DAY ONE ALL DAY.

I will however take a moment to say the Bartender JP & Nilsa Were both amazing despite all the other problems. Though for some reason Nilsa was taking my red plates that belonged under each centerpiece which I was giving away to my guest. But for some reason she was taking my plates away. I had to ask her why she was taking them and she went back into the buffet room and gave me a stack of my plates back.

Also your other servers were taking away my guest full drinks when they paid for them at the bar and it was a cash bar.

The servers who were serving the hors d'oeuvres were serving everyone else but the bride and groom. We had to ask them if we can have some. They had really bad attitudes when asked. The pitchers of soda never went out until the very end after everyone ate. They ended up BUYING soda which JUDY SAID WE CAN HAVE IN WITH OUR DEAL. The portions were so small me and my husband each got ONE ravioli One piece of chicken and a twirl of alfredo. Mind you my guest who were giving out very nice and generous gifts were also served this tiny portion. When guest went back for more a few of them said they seen the workers putting the leftovers in to go boxes but not for my guest. Now I spent the last few days gathering this information from all my guest so that I had all the correct information needed and didn't just complain to complain. They were serving the dinner on small salad dishes. On the plus side everyone said the food was amazing which is why I am sad because they didn't get full servings. Now we paid $38.50 a person and it was buffet style so there should have been plenty of food going around. I don't understand why your workers were packing my food that I paid for in to go containers for themselves? My brother in law went back for chicken and found the servers putting food away for themselves and my son went back for alfredo and they also denied him some but he said they were packing it away in to go containers for themselves. A few other guest also went back for seconds and saw the helpers packing MY FOOD THAT I PAID $38.50 A PERSON AWAY FOR THEMSELVES. Now every other wedding I have ever attended was well sized servings and once everyone was served they announced there was seconds if any one wanted more to get back in line. Now I could understand if they were packing it once we were all done but even second servings there was none. My guest literally watched them pack this food away. I asked everyone who attended if they took any to go all said no. The food was supposed to be everything with my family being Italian and with such generous gifts there should have been plenty for a second serving or at least a decent first serving. All the servers had nasty attitudes and were very rude and nasty. I had asked the last table that was served if there was any food left for everyone to get seconds and that whole table said there was plenty of food after they were served BEING THE LAST TABLE SERVED AT THAT. If people wanted to go back for seconds. I am so upset about this. I can not believe your employees packed MY food that I paid for before MY GUEST GOT SECONDS. This needs to be resolved immediately. I had sent this email to The Ramada of Vineland directly and not one person Owner, Manager, or Staff returned my email. Which is why I am forwarding this up to cooperate. I feel as though I have been robbed and my guest were ripped off being that they gave such generous gifts to receive such little food and in my family the food means a lot.

Due to the lack of air conditioning my sweet bar was destroyed. My grandmother went all the way to a bakery in Philly and by the time my guest got to the dessert table my desserts were ruined mush. I had over 90 cannoli's and pizzellas that were just soggy destroyed ruined. Hundreds of dollars worth of desserts ruined. Not to mention my cake was never put away again with them saying I said I didn't want it which I never did. The tradition was to put the cake in the freezer for our one year anniversary. Ruined my cake by leaving it out. Which that was a few hundred ruined.

When the workers packed all my decorations which I spent so much time and dedication on they throw all my hard worked items in the tote like they were garbage. My BOUQUETS were squished in the morning I hand made all of them and 3 were destroyed. My signs and my memorial photos tossed in like trash. My one sign I made that said "sweet bar" was completely broken all letters were broken off.

One of the most important things was I asked about your giant flag that is supposed to be hanging every day was not hanging on my wedding day I ask Nilsa on Friday if it would be up by Saturday and she said yes. This was the first thing that attracted me to The Ramada to begin with and it wasn't up.

I had received such wonderful and generous gift for people to have their drinks taken away full drinks at that taken away paying for soda skimpy servings serving my entre as an appetizer and no seconds for most of my guest. I am so embarrassed and humiliated.

While this was supposed to be the most important day of our lives there were so many things that ruined it. It should have been nothing but positives instead of all these negatives. I am just hoping that the next Bride and Groom who come to your establishment receive a much better experience then We did. And your workers learn more about hospitality and the fact the customers are always right. And there be no take backs on what was promised or arguing with the customer like Judy did. Or Cassie giving off rude vibes and telling me I told Nilsa I didn't want my cake. NEVER said those words.

Just everything from the beginning was a mess. I let a lot slide because I was told Judy and Cassie they just got thrown into is job because the person who ran the banquets no longer worked there. I tried so very hard to be understanding but with all the trouble we encountered I just felt the need to write this email to let you know so that maybe you all can do a little better next time.

I do want to say that I have sent this email directly to The Ramada in Vineland NJ and gave the owner, manager and staff some time to get back to me about my concerns and not one person has reached out. I am extremely unsatisfied with my whole entire stay from top to bottom and not one person has taken the time to email me back apologizing for ruining my stay/wedding? I would appreciate if someone would get in contact with me so we can resolve this matter. I feel robbed and ripped off to the max and the fact that I cant get anyone to return my emails is beyond me. I hope to hear from someone soon to make things right because this isn't fair nor how you do business.

Ramada Deposit not returned

My name is Chris Da Silva. I stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Niagara Falls Near the Falls at 5706 Ferry St. Niagara Falls ON. L2G 1S7 Canada, from Friday July 30, 2021 to Sunday August 1, 2021 in room 728 in Tower B. When I checked in they explained to me that their credit system was not working so I would have to pay for my room using my debit card and would be charged a $209.01 deposit fee. I paid the fee and upon checking out I was assured that my deposit would be returned into my account in a few business days. I waited a week before calling back to which I was told that due to the civic holiday on the 2nd, the deposit might take a few more days. I called back almost a week later to which someone explained that due to a computer error, my deposit never got sent out to me and that they would send it out soon. I called back on the 10th and they said that they would need to manually send it out to my Visa account which they had on file thanks to my Expedia account from which I booked my stay. It has been another week and I was told again to give it a few days. They sent me a screen shot of their banking screen for my account and explained that they have released the funds and it is now just a matter of time. I believe that there has been some mix up with their system and this money will never arrive into my account. I can be reached at [protected] or by email at [protected]@bell.net I appreciate your time in looking into this matter, but I am becoming quite impatient with the hotel in question.

Ramada terrible stay

i stayed at your spokane valley motel.. it was filthy carpets are black and appeared to never be cleaned in room and lobby.. it was also as a a pool and spa neither was available. front desk told me been broke for over a year. totally disappointed and think at least 1 of my nights should be credited back to me. if i was told up front that i would not have the pool and stuff when it was 108 degrees i would have went somewhere else there are three of your properties close toi this location thomas gapp

Ramada Awful room

I checked into the Abbotsford Ramada July 28 with my 2 children and was checked out within a couple hours. The room was absolutely awful. Stains literally everywhere. Both beds, the chair, the floor. The worst part was the smell. With a window open, nothing changed. Then I turned on the fan on the furnace/ac unit and it blew out even more of the nasty smell. The smell was cat pee and smoke. Heavy heavy cat pee. Disgusting. My oldest (11) said she would rather sleep in our car then this room. Plus I also had my 16 month old. I asked for another room, there was nothing apparently. At the beginning of our check in, I ran into issues with my card as I never used the pin before so by the like 4th try, she started to seem irritated. I went to go get cash but came back as I figured out the problem. Interactions after that were less then good customer service. When I went in about the room before leaving, she showed no care on the issue. Just stood there, which left me feeling more irate and I got very upset.
It is absolutely appalling that this is the type of room rented out to anyone.

I will never stay here again. I would like to get my money back. I even took out my own garbage when we left.

Ramada Hotel cleanliness

The hall was dirty and the carpet was ragged. The room had paint coming off the walls. There were gnats in our sink and someone came up after an hour and gave us a can of bug spray. The curtains looked like they were going to fall off the windows. It was horrible. Should not be a Ramada... We tried to book another hotel and none available. Dirty carpet in room... disgusting … We paid over 200.00 for each room... We had 2 rooms booked and have pictures. Extremely hot in the hallway.

Ramada Conditional of ramada by wyndham

July 24th to 25th. 5820 Franklin St. Michigan City, IN 46260 USA - Full refund of money - $ 275.51
The hotel looked like a hurricane hit it - smelled like mold and musk - the area around the swimming pool was hotter then the outside - the floor tiles where broken and missing (tripping hazard) - carpet stained, torn and worn out badly - Exterior doors would not close correctly - the whirlpool jets were not working -and a child defecated in the pool ( could NOT see through the water) - staff didn't care just like parents - shopping at the top of stairs 2nd floor full of dirty sheets, the entire time I was there - the room was to be pool side 1st floor not was 2nd floor - 1st floor had not been cleared ( 6pm when I checked in) housekeeping was to busy shopping in the conference center - women's expo thing (all Day). Pool hours 4pm to 10pm - so no swimming from 8am to 4pm even if you stay multiple days. All excise equipment was either closed off or piled on top of other stuff. My room was for 4 people - got only 1 set of towels - asked front desk for more - looked clean - however had stains - 1 was grape jelly. Door to the room was scrapped up - window was streaked. Dresser drawer missing handles - electric cords dangling by power-strip And as for the Staff - no uniforms - no nametags - and clothes they were wearing were dirty. Just the tip of the Iceberg.

Ramada My entire stay

We not only paid $230 for a room when it said $86 but our room was absolutely disgusting. There were no trash bags the inside of the trash cans were so dirty that it caused a room full of flies. Our tv didn't work at all.. we had no WiFi. It was an absolute disaster. We paid a lot to be in a room. I feel like I should honestly get a refund. I can attach pictures as well I am very disappointed and at this time wouldn't recommend anyone staying here.

Ramada Help desk staff and hospitality

Me and my spouse are staying at Ramada - Varanasi. On arrival, after filling all forms we were asked by Help desk staff - Mr Mishra to produce marriage certificate copy as our surnames were not same. He insisted that this was in accordance to the hotel policy and kept HARASSING us by making us wait, not give room keys till we insisted on speaking to manager. In fact on clearing with the manager we were forced to show the certificate. This is not just case of small mentality, being judgemental as we are a young couple but also sexist expecting same surname, casteist as we are not of same religion. Moreover, on realising that we were married, there was no aplologies or regret or even an attempt to make gestures to making our stay better.
Highly disappointing as it really pulls down the name of Ramada

Ramada Services

I am staying at the Ramada in quesnel for over a month and was informed I do not get services daily such as towels, coffee, condiments, clean sheets or washed blankets, toilet paper etc. There has been no complimentary breakfast at all since I've been here and the pool that was advertised and hot tub has been entirely out of service as well. I am wondering what the standard is? Should there not be services included? As an over a month paying customer why would I not be entitled to the same as a person staying overnight? There was no mention of compensation for the complimentary breakfast at all as well as the tv in my room hasn't worked since I got here. I have a room here until aug 7th and don't like to cause trouble or want to be hated for writing this complaint but this does not seem right.

Desired outcome: Services such as towels toilet paper and breakfast as advertised would be great

Ramada Provision of poor services / food quality and taste

I unfortunately visited ramada islamabad for hi tea on such an special official get together along with an delegation of seniors officials of civil aviation authority. But experienced worst ever services provided by the management. No one was their to see the food, the quality and food taste was not upto the standard of a hotel like ramada.
Their were shortage of waiters, no one there to pick up the used utensils from the table. Even shortage of playes was found throughout the hi tea.
Tea was presented to the guests in parts sitting on the same table which was itself a pathetic way of presentation.
Coffee was presentative to the chief guest and even after that the coffee taste was reported to be same or even below standard from a roadside cafe.
Overall worst experienced and high not recomended to any one to spoil there precious occasion as well as to waste money on such place like ramada.

Ramada Disgusting accommodations

We stayed at the Ramada Worldwide by Wyndham on 400 E. E. Butler parkway Gainesville, Ga 30501 on June 12, 2021. I can say without a doubt this was the most disgusting hotel I have ever encountered. We were on the 4th floor and the carpets in the hallway were being replaced so they were all ripped out with exposed tack strips along the perimeter. You had to be very cognoscente of where you stepped or your would get a tack in your foot. Our room door was so difficult to open we had to shove and shove on it to get it to open. Upon entering the room, there were mildew stains on the ceiling in the main area over the bed and in the bathroom. Some of the popcorn ceiling was peeling off in these areas.

There was a complimentary coffee station in the main lobby that was so dirty we would not touch any surface. It was not just the "days use" it was built up filth.

When checking in I confirmed that there was a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which I was assured was correct. In the morning, my husband and I went down to breakfast and our breakfast consisted of either a bowl of cereal or a breakfast burrito which contained scrambled eggs and cheese, we were also offered a child's size sunny delight drink or a child size container of milk. We were also told we could only have one item and one drink each. I do not consider this a breakfast. The waitress at the restaurant was nothing but kind and apologetic. I imagine she receives a lot of angry comments from customers for a situation that is not her responsibility, she can only do what management dictates.

We paid $145.44 to stay in this hotel, I would like a full refund.
