Ramada - front desk personnel

I was scheduled to fly to Harrisburg, PA via Charlotte from West Palm International Airport on Wednesday, March 20. There were some delays going to Charlotte due to American Airlines Flight having an engine issue and I was unable to make the connecting flight. So American Airlines was nice to offer me to stay at the hotel for an overnight. I chose Ramada. The confirmation code was given for check in code. Upon arrival in Charlotte, we were shuttled to the hotel. When it was my turn to the front desk, he who worked the shift (3pm to 11pm), was talking on the phone while checking to assign me a room.

I decided to take a nice shower from a long night. When I stepped out of the bathroom, someone opened the door seeing me naked which made me feel embarrassed. The following morning at 5am, I walked to the front desk with a written note ( I am deaf) and handed to her who worked from 11pm to 7am. She told me she knew what happened and explained to me that the black man who worked from 3pm to 11pm forgot to put me on the assigned room and she thought room was available. I said to meself why she said like that like black guy. I asked for a reward. She will submit a report to the day tour manager and have them to call me.

When I arrived in Harrisburg and I immediated called the Customer Care Representative named Collin on March 21 and explained what happened. He apologized for that incident and not only for myself but emabarrassed for the Headquarter. He made a report and assured me that someone will contact me around March 27 with the case number. They have yet to contact me, so I had to call the Cusomter Care Representative again on March 29 asking for Collin but she happened to be a supervisor. She checked and there was no report made. It made me furious why they covered up what happened and I gave her detailed information. I don't appreciate their services. She offered me 6, 000 points reward and I said no. She wanted to know what I should get. I suggested a cash compensation for their error for letting someone see me naked which was unacceptable and a couple free nights. She gave me a 15, 000 point reward for a free night stay anywhere. Did she meet my satisfaction ? No, I am not. She said she will take care of an investigation there and I asked her if they will let me know about their finding. She said no. I feel that Ramada should have given a better offer. They need to find a better solution to make sure not happening again and they must realize that my night was ruined.

On Wednesday, March 20, my flight from Palm Beach International to Charlotte was delayed and I missed the connecting flight in Charlotte for Harrisburg, PA.
American Airlines made the arrangements for me to stay for an overnight which was nice of them. Upon my arrival in Charlotte, there was a shuttle taking us to the hotel. I told the deskfront that I was deaf and gave AA confirmation code 224HF and he was talking on the phone while checking to assign a room for me.
After taking a nice warm shower from a long day, I happened to walk naked from the bathroom, I saw someone opened the door and saw me and closed the door immediately. I was somewhat puzleed why he entered my room for. The following morning around 5am, I walked to the front desk and handed her (the person who worked that shift) a written note and she said she knew what happened and apologized me and said that black guy who assigned me a room did not put it on the system. I said to myself why she said like that. Anyway, I requested a reward and said she will let the day manager know. At that time, breakfast was not opened, she offerd me to drink anything and I drank orange juice and shuttled me back to the airport. I called the Customer Care Service named Collin and he apologized for what happened and was an embarrarment not only for me but for the headquarter. He made a report and get back to me within a week. I didnt get a response so I called and gave my case number and she checked it out and said there was nothing to make a report. They covered up what happened. I do nt appreciate their dishonesty. I was offered a one night stay free which I feel not sufficent. I prefer both front desk personnel should be given a discipline and must make a report truthfully. I feel one free night is not sufficient because someone saw me naked. I feel I should be receiving cash compensation and offered a few extra free nights. I am disappointed in the Customer Care Representatives. I expect to hear someone from the headquarter to contact me immediately and make a better offer. Sigh..
