Rakhimela.com their service has really deteriorated over the years. It used to be much better but this year I placed order for four rakhis on their website they shipped two and the other two there was no update for 4 days. Their customer service was completely not reachable and just stressed us out. There is no update on tickets you raise too. Do not use their service.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Late Delivery and Bad Service
The worst experience that I had of ordering a Rakhi online. I placed an order on 8th of July for a Rakhi to be delivered in the US. There was no update from Rakhimela/Talash. On 15th I called up to check and was promised the completion of the order in the next 2-3 days. No update thereafter. Submitted a complaint on Talash and called customer service on 24th July. All I received was a ticket from the website and a audacious, rude and arrogant person who wouldn't even know what "customer service" means. After a rigmarole of excuses and offensive statements I was told that there would be a call back to confirm the status. Needless to mention that the call back never happened. On 28th I got a confirmation of the delivery... NOT from Rakhimela/Talash but from USPS where I had opted for updates on the order status.
This is for the people to know how certain websites claim a lot and do less or nothing. Beware!
My sister ordered for a rakhi and sweets and still this people are not even delivering it... and no one picks up the phone at the customer care and seriously it is a hopeless site... please don't book any orders at this site... BEWARE.
Worst, pathetic, unreliable... i have placed an order to deliver to india 10 days advance of rakhi day but it never delivered.. The customer service phone was worst and response was even bad.. don't shop on this site! shame on them..
The stuff that i order wasn't the same
Today is Rakhi and sad enough i live far from my brother so i place in order on this site and what do they do? 1st the things i placed in order didn't get there on time even though they said it will before the Rakhi day. 2) The stuff that i order wasn't the same. They charged me more Money for cheap and Crappy qualities. Forget about sending the cheep stuff but it wasn't even similar. it's not about the money it was about the face i saw on my little nephew, he was so disappointed (Twice). Even Last year, same thing happen, they end up sending the different stuffs then promise. 3.) THERE is no email address (customer service) where i can reach them. They are not even picking up the phone . It keep saying the VM is full so i can't even leave a message. There is no way of reaching them. And i am so Mad about this. I WILL NEVER SHOP on this site. People Please Read the Review. I wish i could have read the reviews before hand.
Its the worst site to send rakhi to india. they charged me for giftwrap and never delivered the same. i'l never shop rakhi from this site.even the rakhi delivered in india was not the same which i bought from this site.the rakhis delivered are of cheap qualities..

The rakhi was not delivered before the rakshabandan day. the courier service was very unprofessional.
