Rainbow Shops Gastonia north carolina mall store

I will never step food into another Rainbow store. Ever.

The woman working in this store was so unbelievably rude.. when I asked her if the dressing rooms were open she said “No but just try it on in the corner over your shirt”. When I refused and said no thank you I would rather not the employee said very loudly “Fine, Bye then!”

This woman has absolutely no customer service skills or common decency. I have never been treated so poorly or more embarrassed.

Rainbow Shops Service

This women here is seriously so unprofessional and rude. I came there on Thursday with my blind mom and she asked us was we ready and my mom said yes I walked away because I seen the sale on the perfumes. So I guess this women was in a rush to go back stocking or whatever she was doing. So while I'm over there looking at the perfume she was tapping the paper and said "NO okay then" and walks away. I get if you are in a rush but my mother is blind that is why she didn't give you any money for the stuff. The thing is you do not treat your customers that way. Then today I went in to return an item and she had me filling out this paper with my name, address, phone number for a return that I had with a receipt. I did everything besides my address. I shouldn't have to put my address on a period of paper you will be loosing and now everyone and anyone can see it. Anyways as I proceeded to tell her I don't want to put my address on she is rude saying well I won't do the refund. I said okay, I can put the police station address because as I stated my address shouldn't be on this paper. Then she was like then I will not do it. I said whatever as I proceed to put my address on the paper she keeps saying I will not do it. how do you know what my address is. She's looking in her phone searching in my address and keeps saying that isn't my address. She first said there was a Pizza Hut by my house I said ma'am there is no Pizza Hut in Warrenton Virginia what are you talking about. Then not only that she then proceeded to say my house was by a chick fil a. So I said would you like me to call the police and ask them to take you. Then she started acting like she had sense. After going back and forth her coworker finally came and helped me. She grabbed her Popeyes and went into the office. (I guess she was hungry) Not only that the co worker wanted to know what happen. I tell him everything that happened. Then, she comes back out and ask what happen. I told him what happened and she comes back out the office saying what happen. So I told her exactly what happened the other day. Anyways she then said this is my first time seeing you. I said now I know you lying I remember exactly what you had on. Red hair, black and white shirt. When someone disrespects my mom I will remember you duhhhh. Then she kept saying that didn't happen and I told her go look at your cameras. So then I finally ignored her for my money and left. This is ridiculous why am I arguing with a 60 year old women over a return with a receipt. Stop being disrespectful and you wouldn't have to be put in your place.

Oh yea why does it say mask mandatory and this women didn't even have her mask on properly. This is childish and very unprofessional.

Rainbow Shops Customer service - shopping experience

To Whom This May Concern:

This is a formal complaint against store # 00044, cashier # 5499BW. On August 18, 2021 I was shopping and ready to purchase several items at the checkout counter.

The aforementioned, cashier express that I could not purchase one item because there was no barcode tag on the item. When I then asked her if she could call a Manager to perhaps create one for the item. She repeated herself again in nasty condescending tone as if I was incapable of comprehending her earlier statement and disregarding my later inquiry.

When I objected to her rudeness, she continued a torrent of back-and-forth insults even to the point of stating "now I am going to wait on line" even though there were no other customers waiting?! Know that cashier # 5499BW is a liability to your establishment. Her behavior will if not corrected will result in a lawsuit for damages against your store and/or bad Rainbow brand publicity. You can never know who or what caliber of a person is shopping at your store(s). She has no customer service skills or self control. If she is unhappy with her job she should not even work there. At on point she was so belligerent I felt threatened enough to say - I am going to video record you.

Thankfully, cashier # 8977KL @ terminal 002, time 20:23 was much more courteous and assisted by checking out my selections with no further incident and should be commended.

Rainbow Shops Long tank top

I purchased item today but when I got home to try it on it has a fishy order. I immediately returned to store to exchange it. The manager refused to exchange it due to it being a clearance item/ I was told to go another location. I spent $75.00 in the store and Im stuck with a top with an unpleasant odor. Poor customer service and lack of courtesy

Rainbow Shops Service

On Sunday 4/24/2021 between 3-4pm I was shopping at the Ft Campbell Rainbow in Clarksville Tn. I was in the store for an hour and at checkout I was told a total of 4 times that the earrings that I was purchasing was a final sell. I told the cashier I understand and I have never returned anything and I would never return earrings after I wore them she proceeded to argue with me. I told her all want to do is check out. She kept talking then I asked for the manager. The manager instead of diffusing the situation added while her employee started threatening me and calling me obscenities. I asked again and again yo check out so I can leave she finally said I cannot purchase my items and another employee came up and told her to call the police. I never got to purchase my items after an hour of me being in the store. I was verbally abuse by both employees and the manager. I never raised my voice. I am so disappointed because I shop here frequently and feel I was treated poorly. When it was not warranted. Every employee in that store include the manager was out of line. This is beyond training. The young lady threatened to put her hands on me and called me obscenities in front of the manager. They were the ones yelling and being belligerent yet they even threatened to call the police when they're the ones that were being aggressive. Rainbow Shops Received incorrect order

On order number 25352344, 12/19 I ordered a pair of joggers & sweatshirt. I received two pair of joggers no sweatshirt. I was unaware of the 30 day policy and contacted customer service on 3/11. I received a free shipping code to reorder the sweatshirt and in the email it states upon returning the joggers I will receive a refund. I'm now being told it's past the 30 days and no refund will be given. I have in writing I will receive a refund and I want that to be honored. Please refund back to my original payment method.

Rainbow Shops No masks worn by employees

I went shopping to Rainbow in Blackwood NJ. There were 10 staff members behind the register. There were 4 employees with no masks and 2 with masks below the nose or on the chin. This limited the shipping experience as a customer because I was not able to go to jewelry or shoes risking myself near employees with no masks. I did not purchase anything as employees running the registers were not wearing masks. They have signs in the store for masks to be worn, but employees are not following their own rules. This is risking customers and the safety of customers.

Rainbow Shops Order of purchase was not delivered

I ordered 4 skirts from Rainbow Clothing Store's website on December 11, 2020 (order # [protected]). I kept track of when they were to be delivered (tracking # given [protected]): they were not delivered. I spent $65.76 and I don't have my purchase. I waited a couple of days because I had hope of my order being delivered. I don't have $69.76 to give away. I can't include a photo because I never received my order.

Desired outcome: Find my order or refund me all of my money!

Rainbow Shops I almost had to physically fight the cashier!

I went to the storeat Mt Ephraim Ave Plaza 2869 MT. Ephraim Ave Camden NJ 08104 location today to do a little shopping for Christmas. When I entered the store none of the employees greeted me or any of the customers that came in after me. It didn't really bother me much because this is the norm for almost all of the Rainbow stores I shop at. I was done picking out the items that wanted and I proceeded to go to the register to check out. There was one guest in front of me and two employees behind the counter. One of the employees was working the floor when I entered the store. When it was my turn to ring out, cashier operator number 0685AH started to ring up my items. She never greeted me, she seemed irritated about something. I let her know that I has took clothing off of one of the forms hanging on one of the rounders because it was the size I needed. She "yeah OK." she kept ringing my item I asked her if a pair of the pants I was purchasing was a large as she was folding them and again she answered me very rudely, as if I was getting on her nerves for asking her questions. I had to ask her one last question, on which button is for credit too or bottom. She answered rudely again. I purchased a piece of jewelry and 3 outfits. She bagged all of my clothing and was going to enter my jewelry into the same bag and I told her can you give that me I will just put it in my purse because I didn't want it the clothing bag. She handed it to me, placed my receipt in the bag, and handed me my bag. I took my bag and proceeded to turn around and leave and she said "Girl what is wrong with you?" I said excuse me shocked because I didn't know who she was talking too, but I was the only one at the register. I said "who are you talking to?" she says, "I'm talking to you, why you snatch your bag out of my hand?" I said WHAT!?! "I didn't snatch my bag out of your hand." She started yelling yes you did snatch it out of my hand so her and I is now yelling back and forth cussing and using profanity at each other. The whole time the manager and other employees are standing by watching her behave like a crazy person. The cleaning guys was the only one that ask me to please step out if the store because he seen how it kept escalating. We were literally about to fight each other over her thinking I snatched my bag out of her hand.
Here's my problem. I am not sure what kind of training is being given to the employees of Rainbow Corporations, but rudeness, disrespect, talking on cell phones while assisting customers, having side bar conversations while ring up customers, not focusing on the customers, and a ton of ghetto horrible behavior being displayed by employees is a reaccuring issue. I have never had to write a complaint or an email because none of those situations had anything to do with me. This incident put the nail in the coffin. I spend a lot of money with this company and to be treated like my business means nothing at all because of the employees that are being staffed at the Rainbow facilities is extremely crazy. I will be going to a different Rainbow to return everything that I purchased. I will be pacing this on my YouTube Channel, and all of my social media outlets as Well as leave a review on your company page. I am extremely upset and this situation could have went a whole lot worse involving police officers, jail time, and court appearance. I really suggest you guys get some secret shoppers to watch the activity of your managers and employees.

Rainbow Shops Customer service and refund

I purchased a few items feom Rainbow Shop in Auburn Mall in Alabama. I live in Georgia the next state over. After I purchased the items I sat down on a bench in the mall to fold my items since Leah just throw then in the bag like I was purchasing from a thrift shop. I notice the jacket I got had a lot of thread coming from it. I went back in the store to exchange it but there wasn't anymore in my size. I went to get a refund and Leah said do you have your ID, I said yes but I believe she thiught I said no.. she quickly said well if you don't have ID I can't give you a refund, that's when I said again yes I do. Her demeanor was horrible. She gave me this sheet to fill out while meanwhile she was looking pass me like I wasn't there. She begin to put my information in while I know now she spelled my name wrong she didn't ask a question or say a word to me but sign right here towards the end when she also said in a slick way I can't give you any cash back I can only give you a gift card or store credit which the gift card is the same thing on this paper. I said I paid cash and I don't live here, in my town we don't have Rainbow. She looked at me like I don't care when she said this is all I can do.. take it or leave it.
I would like someone to please contact me because I paid cash and I would like cash back and will not shop there ever again. I felt unwanted. [protected]

Rainbow Shops Customer service

I really don't to this kind of complains, knowing that I'm in this business and I know the kind of important that is to have a good review and to have the beast costumer services. I was on Vacation in Puerto Rico visiting my mother and I want to a store in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico store 00723 I belive to spent some money and to buy some merchandise for all of my family, but the costumer service in that store was the worse that I see in my live the level of rudeness was incredible. I never going back there again,

Rainbow Shops Rainbow won't give you a refund in the store if you use paypal

I've been buying clothes at Rainbow for 25 years. Recently I ordered off the website for the first time.

I wasn't concerned if anything did not fit since the website said I could return to the store and avoid the return shipping. As it turned out one type of shirt I ordered was much shorter than expected, so I needed to return them. The other basic tee shirts which I have bought in the past fit well as I thought it would. The problem was in the past these basic tees were always made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex.

That is also what it says on the website. They were not. They are now made with 57% cotton, 38% polyester and 5% spandex. Sadly, I now needed to return everything.

When I got to the store, they said they could only give me store credit because I used paypal. If I sent it back by mail I could get a refund, but then Id be charged $7 for the return shipping. I took the store credit as I only had 7 days to do the return. Rainbow shops has essentially stolen $54 from me that they will not refund.

It is trapped on a store credit that I do not want to use. The clothing I bought and had to return had false descriptions of the material they were made from on the website. That alone should be enough for any decent vendor to apologize for their mistakes and refund my money. The website also said nothing about not being able to get a refund at the stores if you used paypal.

This was only on the invoice sent in the mail with the order. I will never shop at Rainbow again. I will spend the next few weeks making sure every place I can review, gets a review.

This was false advertising by Rainbow and their lack of caring to fix the problem only makes it more appalling. I want to make sure that everyone know about the paypal scam on Rainbow to keep your money.

Rainbow Shops customer service

The rainbow off of Grant Street in Gary Indiana in the village Court the customer service was terrible when I walked into the store they didn't greet me, and when I was in line one employee was ringing up another employee merchandise and was going really slow taking her time chatting with each other and the other girl was folding up clothes extra slow knowing that I was in line did not acknowledge me and said sorry about the wait or anything so I just left out it was too dark skin women around 4 p.m. January 30th they need to be fired if the don't like working customer service..

Rainbow Shops safety for customers shopping in store

1/04/20. 4:20pm Today, I went to shop/exchange an item at this location. As I walked in the store I asked African American sales associate if I'm allowed to walk around with my item I was planning to exchange for something else, she stated yes you can. I was with my 7 year old son, as I was searching for a sweater, I noticed an employee came in with her pit bull full sized dog unleashed. I felt very unsafe while shopping with my son. I monitored the situation hoping the employee would leave with her dog, however that did not happen. I informed my son that we may just leave due to the dog not being on a leash. This employee does not have a support animal as one of the associates tried to mention. As I have seen her in this store before with no pet. This was very poor unsafe judgement for managers on duty and sales associates. As I was deciding to leave one of the associates approached me and mentioned to me I was misinformed by the African American sales associate regarding the policy by being allowed to walk around with my exchange in the bag. I told her i was misinformed, if the store has cameras you could clearly see me asking when I entered the store.
At this point I mentioned the uncomfortable feeling I had with the unleashed pit ball. They manager and sales associates, disagreed with my level of concern for my safety & my child. They didn't understand and told me to leave if I'm uncomfortable the dog doesn't bite. This is unacceptable for a business to allow this. I left the store and didn't complete my exchange. I am reporting to cooperate mgt. So hopefully changes can be made for customers. Please feel free to contact me. [protected]

Rainbow Shops services

I was at store #00591 on 12/10/19 at approximately 10am. I just want to know why all customers are treated like criminals at this location. I recently went into the rainbow store to Purchase my Daughter something to wear for her school event. We where in the store for 5 minutes before we were approached by a associate that my daughter had to bring her school backpack to the front of the store that was on her back. I ask why and she said its for precaution. Precaution that you think that I'm a theft or precaution that everyone that comes in the store is profiled as a suspect. I felt very disrespected. I understand that the store is located in a urban community but it is no need for anyone to be treated in a manner that makes them feel beneath anyone. Everyone does not steal and everyone should not be treated as such. I have shopped at Rainbow in and online and I do not appreciate treated the way we were treated today.

Rainbow Shops double breasted it's a 1 piece pants suit

I brought item up to register. I brought to the attention of the cashier that the item had a button missing but it was in a inconspicuous spot so I still wanted to purchase it. The mgr. took 10% off. I asked if I was still allowed to return it if upon further inspection, I find. more defects. She told me yes. Then AFTER taking my money did she inform me that she made a mistake and that the sale was final. I would not have purchased the item of that was the case. I feel very mislead. It's not my job to know the return policy of your store. I assumed that since I was speaking with a manager that she was competent in knowing the return policy. Now because of the incompetence of your manager giving me the wrong information I have an outfit that I can and will never be able to wear. my problem is not with the return policy. My problem is that the employee have me the wrong information and based on said information, I made my purchase.

I will not check my spelling before posting a comment.I'm the customer.you are supposed to service me.if I make a mistake in my spelling, I'm very confident that you will still know what I am trying to say.instead of worrying about my spelling, please train your workers correctly.please be fair.please treat the customer like we matter.please do not ask me to check my spelling.please check your shelves for defective items.basically take responsibility for yourselves and don't worry about spelling mistakes from irate customers that fell that you ripped them off.

Rainbow Shops retail clerks

I am submitting a complaint against your cashiers/clerks that were working Sunday evening, Nov 17th. They were very rude and should not be in retail. When customers would walk away from them, they would make smart remarks so the customer would hear them. I witnessed this 3 times.They made you very uncomfortable to shop in the store. They had absolutely no mannerism and should not be working with the public. They made you feel as though the customers were bothering them because they did not want to be there. One of them actually shouted out that the store is closed then the other cashier and her giggled and began talking about the customer. Very inappropriate and unacceptable. You did not hear the word please or thank you, or may I help you. I will not go back to that store and I know others have said the same due to your employees. I will also be sure to let others know of their horrible behavior and their horrible service. I strongly suggest you reconsider keeping them employed or attend classes on working with the public. It's an embarrassment to your company.
