Radisson Hotels Breach of privacy at Radisson Blu Outer Ring Road, Marathahalli, Bengaluru

I am writing to you to report an incident of unlawful intrusion and breach of privacy infringing my right to safety by 2 of your staff members ( where, 1 was from housekeeping and another from in-room dining) on March 26, 2022 at around 7:30pm in my room #338 at Radisson Blu Outer Ring Road Marathalli, Bengaluru. I immediately informed the operation manager Mr. Kashif and front desk manager Mr. Ruturaj about the incident. I have also taken up the matter with the GM Mr. Rupam Dutta . The room was on DnD, however these 2 staff members barged inside my room unannounced while I was in my room alone lying on my bed in my comfort wear.

Such violation of privacy is totally unacceptable, and it is the hotel's responsibility to ensure safety of their guests. I have not got any response on the redressal mechanism the hotel will bring into place to avoid such incidents to happen in future. Also, I would like the hotel to compensate me for the mental trauma and embarrassment I had gone through.

Radisson Hotels Dubai Media City Hotel

I was so disappointed with my stay. My friend Nicola booked the hotel for the location and the reputation of radisson blu. However instead of being like a star hotel the service we received was more like a star hotel.

1. Checkin (Abdul) gave us a double bed, we had requested and booked a twin bed room.

2. We left Nicola's car with valet parking on Fri night. When we retrieved the car on sat evening to go out the wing mirror was smashed and the hotel denied it. It was not damaged at all when we left it on Fri.

3. Abdul on reception refused to allow me to leave food (sandwich) in left luggage on sun.

The attitude and willingness to help, advice or accommodate us in any of the situations I mentioned was poor. My friend Nicola was told by reception that maybe the vibrations from the road had smashed her car wing mirror! I staff need retraining at the very least. WE will not stay again in radisson blu after our experience.

I am in particular complaining about the car being damaged. We left the car in good condition and we picked it up with damage. The valet parking said it wasn't him. Reception said they had checked car park cameras and it wasn't damaged with them. This is not true.

Desired outcome: I would like acknowledgment of the car being damaged and to have it paid to be repaired.

Radisson Hotels Refusal to check in - racial profiling

I booked a reservation to Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Centre for Sunday 20th - 21st March via booking.com. I was attending a concert at AO Arena Manchester.

On arrival to check in at 9pm, my son went in to check us in to speed up the process. The receptionist started interrogating him, on my arrival she stated that I needed to pay additional £50 before she could check us in. Louise the Duty manager was called. I explained to them, I had updated my booking and send an email that I needed additional space, I booked it purposely to have the kids nearby whilst I has sometime with my 15yrs old daughter, we had the intention of leaving early hours to ensure the kids were back at school on Monday.

She refused stating we were too many to be checked in, I explained the options and that we were already late for the concert which would be finishing by 11pm. It is short stay, please let the children get a decent rest we have been travelling for 5hrs. She began shouting at me and said she will not be checking us in to go somehwere else.

I asked for an instant refund if that is the case, to which she stated to go back to booking.com and get out of the hotel. I raised my voice back at her telling her I am the customer and not being treated properly. There are cameras everywhere in the hotel, witnesses are Ivan Georgie as well as the security guard and the receptionist who started the unfortunate altercation.

They refused to listen or even check the details I had sent through. Other colleagues tried to calm Louise down she refused shouting at me. Ivan also stated "get out of here". I couldn't believe what was happening. They then threaten to call the police to kick myself and 3 children out of an hotel I had paid for. I couldn't believe my ears and really want to unhear and unsee what was taking place.

The police arrived, they listened and tried to get them to see reason, in the end it was agreed I can sit in the lobby and wait for my children to return from the concert. Myself and 9yrs old daughter sat in the lobby until my children returned about midnight. I was forced to return back home travelling almost 5hrs.

This is the worst service I have received in my life from any service, I still cannot believe what happened, we were stranded and my 9 yrs old daughter kept in the cold.

Desired outcome: An apology letter from all involved, training offered to address future occurrence. Compensation and refund.

Radisson Hotels Country Inn and Suites Santa Ana, CA

I had left my cell phone at a restaurant the night of 11/3/21 and when I went back for it, the restaurant was closed. So I decided to get a cheap room at a close hotel in which I chose the Country Inn and Suites. I arrived shortly after midnight on 11/3/21 so I technically checked in around 12:05am on 11/4/21. I was greeted and got my room with no issues. Once in the room about an hour into me staying there I started hearing banging on the walls in the room (if you are facing the front door going into the room) on the left, and it was on and off. Then I started to hear the same kind of banging on the walls in the room on the right side. So at this point I have two walls of people knocking and banging on and off. There was also talking loud enough for me to hear. I called down to the front desk and they said they would look into it. The banging stopped but started up again

about an hour later. I was sitting on the toilet and someone was knocking right behind my

head. I called down to the front desk again and told him what happened. He said he sent security up, and there was no one in that room. So I told him that "I am just imagining people knocking on the wall behind me? That I am making it up?" and he responded with "the only one causing problems tonight is you, you can either pack up and leave now, or I will be calling the police to escort you out. I didnt know what that was about but I did what he asked and packed up and left as soon as I could. When I was leaving the room I could already hear the sirens from the police coming up the street while I was walking to my car. I left and had to sleep in my car until I got my phone in the morning when the restaurant opened.

Desired outcome: To get my 124.91 reimbursed

Radisson Hotels Country Inn & Suites Radisson Panjim

Dear Radisson Team,

Good Morning!

This may be a good morning to you but for us ( myself and my colleague ) it has been a pathetic stay , staying at your property in Panjim .

Rooms are not cleaned , hygienic and moreover the staff is not maintained .

1. Mr.Yash Patil – Room 206 ( No ventilation, uncleaned toilet seat which was cleaned afterwards, stains on bed sheet and pillow )

Room 404 ( after complaining was moved to this room , which stuffed with smell of chlorine and uncleaned toilet ) .

2. Mr.Anup Puthiyamadam – Room Nos 309 ( Irony was someone else was already sleeping in that )

Room 207( Post this was moved to this room , where it was dirty with wrappers and stale smell and dirt on the floor, and images attached )

Room 607 ( after facing soo much was moved to this room which smell full on chlorine)

We checked in yesterday 16/02/2022 at panjim property and to our surprise we were given uncleaned rooms . Also the room which was allotted someone was already sleeping in that( very unprofessional ) . washrooms are not hygienic (No hotwater is flowing , had to take shower by cold water and today I’m not doing good with my health)

When we complained to hotel staff they simply said , please adjust as the hotel is full . Is this an answer from Radisson people ?

We paid an amount of 11,000 INR per room ( in total two rooms ) for checkin 16/02/2022 and checkout 18/02/2022. ( in total 22,000 INR)

Is this the new standard of Radisson group ? is this how Radisson treats their customer.

I’ve been staying in various properties of Radisson (even in remote location of pantnagar,sidcul) but the stay was always hygienic and appreciable .

Kindly look into this matter and resolve with immediate effect. And definitely I will never recommend this property to any of my family, friends and colleague.

The rooms are not even worth of 1500 INR( atleast Local hotels have proper rooms) .

We would highly appreciate an refund or immediate relocation to some different property of Radisson in Goa .

Also I would like to highlight this issue with my Global Team from Krones Germany and stop all the booking with Radisson group worldwide for my service engineers which usually book the property for 1-2 months as & on when required.

I would appreciate an response in next 2 hours

Radisson Hotels Country inn and suites

My family and I arrived at the Country Inn and Suites in Lawrenceville Ga for a two night stay Feb 4-6. around 3pm. Upon check in we were told we could not check in because the credit card machine was down. I was told to come back in an hour or pay with cash. The problem with that is we just drove 7 hours and were trying to get to a funeral. We didn’t have an hour. We needed to get ready. I explained this to the woman at the front desk and her response was, either pay cash or go to another hotel. She even suggested a Hampton Inn up the street. She started to get an attitude. I booked this reservation on the website, my credit card information was on there, so I honestly didn’t see what the problem was. I then proceeded to call customer service and got someone named Jay. Jay called the hotel and was told the same thing, so he said there was nothing he could do. Customer Service could do nothing? What I don’t understand is if you know you have people coming in with a reservation, why no courtesy call to tell us we needed cash or given us time to book a reservation somewhere else? This was a very difficult trip to make, as I mentioned we were there for the funeral of a dear friend. I started to cry, it was embarrassing. No one tried to help. They just wanted us gone. Needless to say we ended up staying two nights at the competing Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites. Thankfully they had the same King Suite we had originally booked with Country Inn.

Radisson Hotels Stay at hotel

I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Port Charlotte Fl. the weekend of Jan 28th and 29th 2022.

1) Unfortunately the hot water throughout the hotel was broken which I was not informed about upon check in friday afternoon. I found out when my wife went to shower saturday morning . We suffered through it with extremely quick showers thinking tnat maybe everybody on site was depleting the available hot water.

This was not the case so when I checked out showering before a 20 hour drive home, I was informed that the hot water wasnt working at all weekend.

2) My bigger complaint lies in the manner I ve been treated by Hotel personel since I had checked out

I was given the manager's name and number as he was off that weekend. She told me he was contacted and to expect my call. Seven different times I have called that hotel and given 7 different lame excuses as to why he could not speak. Yesterday afternoon I spoke to a gentleman who refused to give his name and suggested I email Radison with "whatever my problem was".

he also refused to give me his manager's last name. His first name is Tony apparently.

This location gets listed as 3star accomodations in which I clearly paid 3star price. I've stayed there close to a dozen times as my daughters live a couple miles away but I d appreciate some customer satifaction for this disasterous two night stay before i ever consider a Radison hotel again

Radisson Hotels unauthorized credit card charge

I was charged for my room and I called to ask if they allowed pets. They said they did and nothing was mentioned about an extra charge when I I got there. I also looked on their website for this information, but it wasn't there. The hotel was Country Inn and Suites Knoxville.TN. I am very unhappy about this extra charge for which I didn't agree with.

Desired outcome: I would like the extra charge of $25.00 reimbursed on my credit card.

Radisson Hotels Dangerous covid (lack of) hygiene, lack of paid service

The complaint started the 16/12/2021, it took until 04/01/2022 to even get a response from the manager, even whilst staying there.

Staying during the 10 day Quarantine ASQ package

We were told to use Line (likes whatsapp) even before we got to the Hotel and asked to add Park Plaza Soi 18 to Line whilst checking in via the nurse, yet 8 and 10 hour gaps between messages made it a complete waste of time, ringing the desk made no difference as well as out of a handful of calls down, I believe two were answered. Myself and the other guests on the third floor literally stopped trying to contact your staff.

The two main reasons initially were to order some room service and to have some laundry done. The room service never happened of course and after numerous asks for laundry, I ended up having to get my friend to send me washing powder and Downy and had to literally wash my clothes in the sink of a four star hotel chain. Then try and dry them in a room with no ventilation apart from AC. So the damp smell was not something to enjoy, especially to someone that has a very good palate and nose. Huge pet hate is bad smells. This seems trivial as I type it out to you, but I assure you as a very seasoned traveller (for my work), I have never had to wash my smalls or clothes myself in a hotel, ever. Especially one I am paying extra for, to be super hygienic.

I literally had to ask the nurse for some things as it was pointless trying to message your staff and getting further frustrated whilst cooped up, a feeling that also spread across a group of other guests that got to meet on the roof each early evening. In a quarantine situation you rely more heavily on hotel staff than during a normal stay, as we couldn't simply go downstairs to chase up something we needed. However as the stay went on, we realised how easy this would have been, I had a Grab delivery that came straight to my room door, as the security guard was asleep and there were no staff downstairs, this was just before breakfast. Not something that should happen at all during such a literal lockdown/quarantine situation.

They have signs on the terrace stating that it is deep cleaned every day after the unvaccinated have been there, this is a complete fairytale. We started to leave things on the tables after noticing that it wasn't being cleaned, that were there for days. This is supposed to be a government approved, hygienic hotel, during a pandemic that has the world in fear. I am unvaccinated, not because I am an anti vaxxer, but because I wish to have another child and will not have an untested vaccine. This does not mean that I do not believe in the dangers of Covid and what it could possibly do to me, a middle aged man that has respiratory problems. So to pay double and stay somewhere that is literally doing half of the cleaning they would usually do, is quite frankly disgusting. And certainly not something expected of a name like Radisson!

The reason I generally stay in American chain hotels is because the Americans offer a better service than most nations, they live and breathe service and making sure people enjoy their time, I am a British chap who would prefer their hotels than our own. This one sadly fell very short of every aspect of the stay. I couldn't have my curtains open because I had people living mere feet away looking directly in, I couldn't get laundry done at any point and ended up with hand washed, damp clothes (not exactly ideal when there is a flu like bug attacking the world), I couldn't get room service, the areas that should have been cleaned religiously were left dirty for days at a time, the staff were asleep at their posts or not there at all, they left myself and other guests completely isolated with hardly any contact, certainly not within a timely manner, the keycards (that I was informed were only programmed for an hour due to quarantine rules) were not set for an hour at all, one day, we were all on the roof and no staff turned up at all, the keycards all still worked, food was cold on quite a few occasions due to turning up early and not alerting us (doorbell or knocking), yet we could not order room service, so were left to either eat a cold meal or order out.

It is without a doubt, the worst stay I have had anywhere in fifteen years. Fawlty Towers was a scripted, fictional hotel and a stay there would not have been as bad as this.

Add to that the fact that they could not even contact me whilst there to remedy any of this and it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Also ignoring private messages on Twitter now that they initiated.

Radisson have failed to look after guests that were paying over the odds, for a stay that was already uncomfortable.

I will not let this lie, I will also be filing complaints with the ASQ and SHA regarding the lack of hygiene they are supposed to be offering during a world wide health pandemic.

Desired outcome: Minimum of a full refund, I did not receive what I paid for.

The manager Migual Juan messaged me on the 4th of January, with excuses about their lack of profit with full admission that the staff had told him they had not answered messages. I have the emails of course.

Radisson Hotels Best Rate Guarantee

I had a very bad experience with the Radisson Hotels chain, with the Best Price guarantee department. I found a booking with a lower rate on the third party website. I made a booking via Radisson hotels mobile application and it was overpriced. Best price guarantee department refused my claim because of the bed size which I didn't get during my stay and which hotel doesn't have (in the booking confirmation it was mentioned that I booked a king sized bed, but hotel only has queen size beds). I spent my time on conversation with the BRG representative and they just answer anything that coming out of their head (forgetting to send screenshot, sending the price from the different website from which I mentioned, etc). When I asked to give me the contact details of their manager or the place to write a complaint, they just ignored my questions. Means best price guarantee is a total lie and you pay bigger price for what you won't get.

Radisson Hotels Harassment

Dear Sir,
We are staying along with our family at Country inn suites by radisson, candolim, Goa
We are staying in room no -112 and 114 in the name of Anuj Batra and yogi bhandari respectively.
Yesterday atleast 3 times the door key stopped working and despite of repeated requests the same was not resolved . It got more worse when we came at 4.00 am today and same problem was not at resolved.

Didnt expected at all such services from Property like Raddison .

It was really disgusting.

Radisson Hotels Centipede/insect in food

Dear Radisson Representative
This email is to bring to your notice an incident that happened at one of the hotels of your group in India - [Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Circus, New Delhi]. We were three adults & 2 kids (seven and four years) and booked our table for VEGETARIAN BUFFET through online platform Easy diner/Dine out in name of Avantika Aggarwal/Nikhil Aggarwal for 7 p. m on occasion of my sister's birthday. While I was eating snacks and drinking diet coke, I realised something abnormal in my mouth and to my surprise it was a CENTIPEDE! Almost 2.5 inches long!. I threw it out of my mouth and put in on the plate and called the hotel staff. They were taken aback too and thought it has come out of the COKE CAN.
There was no immediate support from the hotel staff in terms of getting a doctor on call or their senior staff members to address the situation and tried to continue serving us. My kids started crying in disgust and we were all in a pukish state. I felt nauseatic and tried to vomit in the washroom a little as that insect could have been ALIVE and POSIONOUS!.
We did not get any attention or help from the hotel staff and they tried to tell us that it came from Coke and that they would take it up with the Coke vendor. As it was an occasion of birthday which was already spoiled, we could not do much and tried to have some food as there were children too.
Post dinner, as my son was walking through the corridor towards washroom to his surprise he saw LIVE CENTIPEDES ON THE FLOOR OF THE HOTEL and he panicked and started yelling in disgust and got scared that they mite bite anyone of us. It was a horrifying experience and we raised a alarm for hotel staff. The manager came up running and saw/acknowledged that these were poisonous insects and thus the insect in my plate has probably come from the Hotel and not from Coke can. After we panicked and called for doctors, the front manager Sudhanshu connected us to a doctor he knew over the phone. The doctor said that centipedes are poisonous and I should do a stomach flush and take medicines and keep under watch the whole night for any symptoms of vomits, stomach ache and nausea.
As a after effect, as a family we could not sleep the whole night and my kids kept getting up afraid and scared with the thought that I ate an centipede.
The implications this incident could have gives me jitters as it could have gone in any of the child's plate and they could have swallowed a live poisonous centipede 2.5 inches long! And their lives could have ben in danger.
The hotel staff REFUSED to give me the incident report in writing and REFUSED to share the escalation email id for me to share this incident. We paid the bill and left. Mr Sudhanshu (phone 91-[protected]) called in morning to check my health and I told him that I vomited at night and my children are in a poor state of mind. He assured that he will escalate and keep me in copy but haven't.
I clearly see laxity, lack of maintenance at the Radisson Hotel which I thought should be in very high standards. My life & my children could have been affected and we are in mental trauma because of this incident. I di not report to work and my parents & relatives are worried too and advised to take police/legal action due to laxities of the authorities and hotel staff. I am a Chartered Accountant, a responsible citizen working for EY in higher management position and want this to be taken up with severity at Radisson global level. Get me the relevant Email ids please else I will have to contact them through social media.

Radisson Hotels The semblance, tub, and me sleeping in another guest feces.

On Wednesday November 17, 2021 I arrived at The Country Inn Radisson Hotel in Hampton, Virigina. Tired from a late drive. I was met by a very nice staff member. My stay was not pleasant. The hotel was being renovated there was visible dust on the staircase, and carpet in the hallways. That was a small concern after seeing updates were being made. My first room had rust in the tub. The second room given to me seemed to be clean and comfortable. The comforter was covered by a white sheet. While making the bed, as I always do upon leaving. I notice feces on the comforter from a prior guest. I reported my concerns to the Clerk. He informed me that Mr. S. Hill (Operation Manger) would be in by ten o'clock. I would think Mr. Hill would have contacted me by phone concerning this most disgusting complaint. This was the worst hotel experience I`ve ever had during any hotel stay. I work in the medical field. Once speaking to Mr. Hill. I felt he showed no concern regarding the matter. He referred to the condition of the bath tub, and not the other conditions of the hotel he manage. Mr. Hill stated, I booked through a third party. There was nothing he could do. He would compensate me on my next stay. It was a very unpleasant stay, my worst phobia of sleeping in someone else foul matter. I would like a meaningful and substantial gesture of goodwill.

Radisson Hotels Drinking water

I stayed in Radisson Hotel in September 19-26 September situated at St. Julians in Malta, nice hotel and nice staff but unfortunately on second day there was no water in our room so I asked the house keeping if I can have some drinking water but I been told they do not provide drinking water apart from day of arrival, I said that's ok so I phoned reception and asked for the drinking water and been told the same thing and told me if I want drinking water I have to buy from them, I asked if I can drink water from the bathroom tap but advised against that then I asked if I can speak to Manager, having conversations with Manager it was the same thing then I said they have to provide drinking water as this is basic human right to have a access to drinking water but Manager just won't listen and said this is our policy.
I would like to know is this policy apply to whole of Radisson Blu or just only this hotel as they are denying drinking water to customers and going against the basic human right specially when Radisson Blu saying they are helping children for drinking water in deprived areas as they can't provide for customers

Radisson Hotels Complaint was resolved to full satisfaction

Earlier this morning I have written a complaint about high noise level and two very early wakings in our rooms at the Radisson Stand in Stockholm stying in room 233 and 235 since Monday.

The very kind and extremely helpful, friendly and professional gentlemen at the reception sorted the problem out this after noon in no time with two new rooms and adding an upgrade for both.

We as a family are most delighted with this solution and would like to thanks Radisson and your team for supporting your customers so well

I have booked two rooms, waited for almost 4 hours from 1 pm to get my room 1 only then till now I didn't get my second room after 2 hours .
Hotel is mis using his right for availability and very poor customer service. In addition they are breaking the privacy as well entered my room without even talking to me .

Can someone help or support, hotel is Radisson blue yas island abu dhabi. Other wise i will file a complaint in the uae court and in the usa court on the corporate

Radisson Hotels Discrimination and Unendurable behaviour

Greetings,
I am writing about Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Plot No:- 26-077. I have a few major complaints that have been ignored and I want the Radisson group to hear and take action against. I am writing them down as points:-
1. Housekeeping- since I wrote discrimination at the subject I would like to elaborate first, the housekeeping that is provided to me does not include cleaning of my dishes in the sink but all other hotel guests get the facility. My room is excluded because last year "someone" left a lot of dishes unwashed, this someone belonged to my college therefore i am excluded from the basic service.
2. Understaff- this branch has a total of 4 housekeeping boys for 9 floors, the guy who cleans my room told me he has been given 3 floor responsibility and has to work over 10 hours a day. Now you can imagine the work that he would do in my room.
3. Understaff- a few days back there was a fight in the building at around 2 am people called Radisson security but apparently there was no one at the reception no security in the building.
4. Unhygienic dirty towels and bedsheets- the bedsheets provided to us stink the towels are torn they dont provide us clean ones and when we ask for new ones they say we have limited things and thats why we cant provide it to you.

Kindly address these problems seriously and get back to me.

Radisson Hotels Hotel room and treatment by employees

I stayed at the country inn and suites in Georgia. (1365 Hardin east point) to be exact. My family had two rooms 206 & 207 Saturday-Tuesday. We were treated so bad by the employees, especially the crew that was on Tuesday morning. The employees really didn't want to help and was very short and rude to the point where they argued and yelled at us and other guests. My room had ants in it, the room and carpet was moldy, and we could barely get linen at some point of times. It was a goose chase for towels except Saturday morning at check in where the front desk attendant was very helpful and nice.

Desired outcome: Some type of credit or money off from room and employees talked to about behavior

Good day Amber Lewis,

                                 I'm writing to report Room #106 is in an unacceptable condition for the money being charged. My family and I reserved a room from Country Inns and Suites website for a stay on August 14, 2021. The pics on the sight for your location were very acceptable, so I booked. We were traveling from Philadelphia, Pa. to Disneyworld, Orlando Florida. Traffic in all of Virginia was the worst I've ever been and it took 5 hours to drive through that state. We didn't arrive at your location until after 1:00 am after driving from 6:00 am that day. Well, after checking in and entering room #106 we couldn't believe the condition of that room. Being extremely exhausted I did not feel like arguing with front desk about another room, if one was even available at that time of night.

Most of the furniture was old and very worn. The beds were okay. Desk light had no shade on it just a bare light bulb. Bathroom had fixtures in tub and sink that were worn and very rusted. Missing pieces of tub lining in spots and the dirty grout is indicating that a good cleaning isn't being done. But here's the cherry on the sundae, next morning we went use shower and discovered there were only 2 towels. Went to front desk and requested 2 more towels, and was told there were none available at all. This was 9:00 am and upon looking at the carts in hallway from staff cleaning rooms, and there were none on carts either. Staff member said she was waiting on laundry for some. We all left without showering.

Now if this room charge for the night was $75 I could almost understand why a room would be rented in this condition, but for $150 is totally unacceptable. I used my points for payment and would like to have them re-instated. I see your location is independently owned and operated from Radisson and maybe corporate doesen't set standards, but as a business You or owner must have standards of your own to operate by?

If corporate allows these kind of conditions to exist, representing them, I'm deeply disappointed and will never use your hotels again. I've stayed in other Radisson hotels and all were very acceptable.
The review I give for this hotel and conditions I hope will alert future guests from staying in these conditions for the money you're charging.
