Race trac charges my visa $1.00 every time I use it. Which means I pay $.10 more a gallon approximately when I fill up my car every 10 gallons. I have tried to figure it out on my visa account and never could. I finally asked the attendant at the gas station today and she could only tell me to go to racetrack.com and talk to corporate. The kind lady behind me in line told me that racetrack charges one dollar to check my credit card every time I use it. That is ridiculous!
I have outstanding credit ratings. If racetrack checks my card and charges me a fee I should be warned/notified on the computer screen at the pump every time! Once checked I should be cleared from being charged again.
I do not want the race track points to get money off line things with in the store. I should not be penalized for not having some kind of reward system that you have.
Please respond. I will file a complaint with capitalone also if I do not get a satisfactory response.
