I paid Rich Giquinto from Quakertown Roofing & Siding LLC at the time, for new roof, siding, metal work & gutters for my home. From day one that Rich started working on roof it leaked. He had no idea how to even bend or install metal valley, the valley was short it didn't even make to bottom of valley into gutter, when I brought to his attion he said he would replace the only thing he did was place scrap pieces and caulk, the valleys looked like they were bent using hands. The scrap pieces that was placed in front as jury rig leaked. When he installed metal roofing all 4 of the sections leaked and looked like child installed. When shingle roof was installed they faced nailed shingles on much of the roof, when the sun shined you could see face nails shining from ground. The house sits on steep hill, from the ground it is hard to see nails unless sun is shining. When ladder is placed against house and you climb closer you can see all the nails that were nailed straight thru face of shingles. There is so many nails that the only fix is to replace entire roof. When he installed siding he installed scaffolding, the poles supports were nailed straight thru shingle roof, when they removed pole supports they never replaced shingles he just left nail holes as they were, water is leaking thru all the nail holes. Rich asked to be paid in full before completion of work, I paid Rich and he never came back to complete work that he was paid in full for. I decided to search internet and found that I am not the only one that was scammed by Rich Giquinto and Quakertown Roofing & Siding LLC. Rich Giquinto has changed company name more times then I could count. If you have been scammed by Rich Giquinto or any of his companies such as Quakertown Roofing & Siding LLC, Quakertown Roofing Corp, Giquinto Contractors, Giquinto Contracting, Giquinto Roofing and Siding, Bear Builders or any of the other companies that Rich Giquinto has been using to scam people out of there money please write reviews on ever site on internet that you can find so that Rich Giquinto can no longer scam anyone.
What a ### contractor.
He has twice filed for bankruptcy. Has multiple judgments as a contractor. Bought Quakertown Roofing before last bankruptcy was even finalized. Judge made aware of this and still allowed bankruptcy.
Wholeheartedly agree with all of the above! If you search public records for this guy you will also find out that he's been sued many times, they tried to take his house but his wife filed a property claim and they couldn't. People are out upwards of 80 and 90K. PLEASE report him to the PA Department of consumer Protection! I am going after this guy, and any and all complaints should be filed with them! The BBB is a joke, after they couldn't do anything further with this guy they gave him back a B rating... Anyone who has been scammed by this criminal has to file complaints against him, PLEASE! Although it looks like he's out of business at this time I have no doubt that he'll raise his crooked head under a different name and start all over. Yes, he has a business in Florida that is registered to his home in PA, who knows when he'll skip town and start anew. He knows how to play the system, please help me stop him, file your complaints with the PA Department of Consumer Protection! Under whatever business name he used at the time and his full name, Richard H. Giquinto. PLEASE!
He ripped me off, too. After the fact I found out about all his businesses... report him to better business bureau, department of consumer protection, as well. Did you know they track consumer complaints by Company name, not owner name... No wonder he's been around so long and keeps getting away with ripping people off! Anyway, Looks like he's heading to Florida at some point. He and his wife have a company there that is registered to their home in Quakertown.
