They refunded my return ticket to india without informing me, I was mentally traumatised because of their behaviour, they said I have to book another ticket for my return flight which was nearly 5000 dollars, really pathetic and they call themselves the best airline in the world, that's a big joke, the ground staff is very rude at the Houston airport.If my ticket was canceled why did they take money from me at the last minute for 2 additional bags, I've traveled some of the best airlines, but I will never ever book on Qatar, I've learnt my lesson from these unprofessional people

refunded in full up to 14 days before arrival. All cancellations within 14 days are subject to 100% cancellation charges with the following exceptions
Flight was cancelled or changed by the airline
Compassionate grounds, supported by some documentary evidence, such as a positive PCR result preventing travel
Exemption from quarantine granted upon arrival into Qatar
and in my case I got a Exemption from quarantine granted upon arrival into Qatar officailly signed, please refer to attachement .

for this case, I'm requesting a full refund, otherwise please escilate further

I tried cancelling a flight recently as due to restrictions I will not be able to travel.
I clicked cancel / request a refun on my customer dashboard, after which the page was loading for 30ish seconds and then I received the message "Your request can not be processed at this time, try again later".
However my flight did disappear from my dashboard, I received no email about the cancellation or refund, I opened a claim ticket with Qatar but have received no response whatsoever.

I had booked a trip from Sharjah to the UK via Doha on 9th January 2022. PNR:6E2HQQ. The flight was scheduled for 17.55. I had given the documents at the counter around 14.30 so that i could collect the boarding pass early . But they delayed it even after i checked continuously and the flight was delayed by an hour. Around half an hour before the flight was scheduled to take off they told me that my flight would be cancelled as i had not done my UK registration and received no further communication from the team as there was not even 1 person from the Qatar airways team at the counter or at the airport. The registration had been done from my end as I have been stuck at the airport now for more than 15 hours and there is still no resolution regarding the same. My university classes start on 10th January and it is mandatory that i have to attend the classes there.

The level of professionalism from the team was disappointing. I atleast expected them to ask me if they felt that any documents were missing so that i could have clarified them and not have to face an such as issue for no fault of mine. This was not expected from an airline of such prestige as Qatar airways. The fact there was was no one to contact or talk to at an airport such as Sharjah was simply outrageous.

I have booked a flight on 24th November 2021 with booking reference WA8KKO and request a refund due to Covid travel restriction. I didn't managed to request fund online because the system rejected the process so I phoned Qatar call center on 24th December 2021 to request for the refund and I was told to wait for 14 days for the confirmation email and I will get my refund within 21 days but up to now I didn't receive a confirmation email and I am curios if I will get refund soon.

I purchased two seats for my parents, each one for 134.5$. Seat numbers were 35B and 35C. At the airport the agent changed the seats and said we can get our money back. I called customer service and they said it is not possible to get a refund. I asked to talk to the supervisor but they did not connect me.
what I want is my money back because what I purchased were not given to us.

From Dec. 22 to Dec. 23, 2021, I took two flights with Qatar Airways: First, from Vienna International Airport to Doha/Hamad International Airport (QR 184, 16:05-23:15) and from there we transited to Nairobi/Jomo Kanyatta International (QR 1335, 1:45-7:10). The booking reference is TYXR93 - you should be able to find my contact details that way.

At some point during those flights, the numerical lock of my luggage was cleanly cut off with what appears to have been a bolt cutter (see attachment) and most likely in an attempt to steal valuables from my luggage. I fortunately was not carrying any valuables in the luggage and it appears that nothing was taken.

The luggage itself is ruined now though and I would like to be recompensated for the damage by Qatar Airways. (€150 sounds appropriate).

Qatar airways cancelled my a portion of my ticket confirmation L6BNJB on 16th jan from Doha to Ahmedabad and on Feb 1st from Ahmedabad to Doha on operational reasons, without clarifying the details.
I had to unfortunately change my tickets to March 1st 2022 and take a loss of opportunity in my business purchases.
I need your help to ask qatar airways a full explanation.

For the first time, I have had a very bad experience today talking a Qatar Airlines agent who quickly decided to not help me after verification questions and asked me to disconnect the call and call them back again, I have already waited 30 minutes in queue to get an agent.

My request is simple to modify an existing booking, the agent asks

Q1. All names on the booking (Given correctly)

Q2. The Agent asks to email (given correctly) I already told the agent that I have booked this ticket for my spouse and kids who are visiting their home country. So I gave the email of my account, I am able to log in via this email address and under my profile, I see it's my email address.

Q3. The agent asks phone number (again I have the correct phone number, and under my profile page I see the same number)

No other questions asked if there is another email or phone number? I am not sure what they are seeing in their system but as my wife is traveling I have also given her email and phone number as secondary for notification purposes. If agent was expecting this I would have given it without any issue but the agent quickly jumped with the statement I regret to inform you I won't be able to assist you and you have to disconnect and call us back.

I have spent so much time and gave him another email/phone number as well to help him but he made his mind not to help, I asked him for Supervisor and asked this at least 20 times but the agent was NO NO NO and he said I checked and Supervisor don't want to talk to me.

I am a customer of Qatar Airlines if I am not satisfied with a first-level agent then I should be given an opportunity to talk to a supervisor.

Agent never gave that and hold the line to himself for 30-40 mins, he spoiled my mood, my BP raised and I missed my Friday prayer as I never expected this call will go so long without any help.

calling the customer service was a horrible experince. you call 1 number and they take an hour to answer then they give you another number to call. every one is saying its not his department.even on whatsup the person take hours to respond without any value. that is what we are getting.

I had applied for a refund on Qatar airways website for booking reference TENQTH on 1st of December 2021. This was for full refund of my flight from Mumbai to Lagos. Have not received any email confirmation yet which was stated on the website on refund/ cancellation confirmation page. Followed up with Qatar on FB messenger and mobile app but the replies are vague and absurd. I had asked what amount will be refunded and WHEN. No reply to both the questions by Qatar airways. Please intervene to get this resolved. Not receiving a confirmation mail for refund is gross violation of their own stated commitment. Cancellation confirmation page screenshot is attached.

Qatar airways, you have made it clear unless i sign your disclaimer form that will let your airport manager and staff of from what can be nothing else than a money making scam of cancelling paid tickets to cancel flights and charging again to use the exact same flights, her demands that i pay office $1, 200 to buy back my booking ref numlhy the 11th June.
the disclaimer was introduced by Qatar airways after evidence was given to them of the Bangkok manager scam and the lies and excuses from Qatar airways customer service in trying to cover up and pushing the blame on others when there lies and criminal actions was proven they resulted to no comment and no response the usual criminal action, but has followed up with moor lies to Gotogate and Skyscanner claiming no visa who has told me again Qatar airways has not shown evidence to this as requested.

Was at the airport 4 hrs earlier and got denied check-in by QA counter staff (Mr. Roslan, Ms. Aminah and a staff with phone no +[protected]) despite presenting all required documentation (PCR neg results, vaccination, official UN travel authorization, etc. As per the Hungarian govt. rules, a UNLP holder doesn't need any visa or special permit or quarantine requirements to enter Budapest, Hungary a friend of mine who was travelling to Budapest from Bangkok QA on the same day without issues. This insensitive and prejudiced attitude of the QA staff deprived me of my participation at an important official workshop that I've planned for a considerable time which took place from 2 Nov. 2021 that caused me tremendous mental and physical stress. I was preparing mentally including several pre workshop arrangements to attend this important official event including alternate arrangements to my children for school and other transport and accommodation. I was vehemently asked to wait at the counter for more than 4 hours while they were checking on my case as well as other chores. It was totally unprofessional, discriminatory, unfair and unethical to treat a customer with this privilege in this manner.

As it was totally unacceptable and unfair to deny me check in when I had all valid documents as per the current rules and regulations of the Hungarian government, I would kindly request you the following please:

- provide me with adequate compensation for the mental and physical stress caused due to the unprofessional behaviour and unfair denial of check in by your air line staff. Further, I have also lost an important learning opportunity due to this in addition to monetary losses. I am having a sleepless nights from that day on as this training was meant to bring in an important milestone in my career.

I am attaching my UNLP and the latest Hungarian Govt. rules which I tried to explain to your staff in vain.

Looking forward to receiving an urgent reply from you as I wanted to join my workshop at least one day after the commencement. My many emails were fallen in to deaf or indifferent ears, and eventually got a (bot generated) email saying as I'm out of EU zone, I'm not eligible compensation. I would also like to get your response on my compensation as well as I am under tremendous mental stress now due to this incident as I have never been treated / experienced such a bad experience and unprofessional behaviour in my 20 years United Nations career and travel all over the world.

Complaint number above made in March 2020 for request refund of charges on change of ticket due to Covid19. Request made since mac 2020 and they keep on stating resolved whereby I did not received any reply or refund or whatsoever. I would like to complaint regarding the mishandling of luggage by Qatar Airways. My husband traveled with my 4 years old last Friday October 8, 2021 Qatar to Cairo via Qatar Airways, When they reached in Cairo International Airport they waited for their bags but no one can give full details until they waited for almost 2 hours and my husband cant take it anymore because of long waiting and our 4 years old child was sleeping already until he was told to make a complain and file for mishandling luggage. He waited 3 days with out their personal bags and the worst all the important stuff for our child was there. Imagine 3 days my child has no proper clothes and all his milk and medicine are all in the bags. and they were called yesterday to take their bags after 4 days and now my son is sick coz they travelled again just to take the bags from sharqia to cairo. Really it's not good at all. and even you don't send the baggage to our house in sharqiya . I experienced once I travelled from London Heathrow to Copenhagen Aiport my bags was delayed as well but when my bag reached Denmark the airline services delivered my luggage to my home, but Qatar Airways didnt bother to the that instead you wants us to come and pick up our stuff. its really cost of time and money and inconvience is the worst.

I need to raise an issue which I believe requires action from Qatar management to escalate. Our trip to the Philippians was nearly cut short due to the actions and unethical business manner in which the floor manager, namely REINHARDT VAN NIEKERK conducted himself at the O R Tambo airport on the 21st Sept 2021 @ 12h00.

Two weeks before our flight we received our tickets to fly:

Durban - Johannesburg
Johannesburg - Doha
Doha - Clark (Philippians)

Over that period we obtained our VISA's from the Embassy in Pretoria and all the required documentation needed to fly as well as entering into the Philippians. This included all the documentation QATAR required before boarding.

We flew the first leg to Johannesburg and arrived at the QATAR check in desk to check in our baggage for our flight - QR 1364. All our documentation was given to the check in lady who reviewed our paperwork and notified us that she needed to discuss this with the floor manager, namely Reinhardt van Niekerk in connection with entering Clark airport Philippines.

After 20 - 25 minutes I asked the check in lady what the progress was and I requested I speak directly to the floor manager, namely Reinhardt van Niekerk who I could see standing three desks down over this whole period we were waiting for a response from him.

I approached him and asked for an update and he turned to me and without any respect or explanation said, your flight is cancelled and you will not be boarding today. I asked for an explanation and once again his response (did not care attitude) merely stated that no one is allowed into the Philippines without approval so you are wasting your time standing here as you will not be boarding the flight today, he then walked away.

I immediately phoned my director in the Philippians to explain the situation who in turn requested to speak to the Qatar floor manager, namely Reinhardt van Niekerk. Once again I could hear the arrogance in Reinhardt van Niekerk's response to my director and refused to give any support or suggestions to ensure we were able to board the flight.

I was then requested by my director to show Reinhardt van Niekerk a document which was an official document from the Philippines immigration granting permission to fly. When Reinhardt van Niekerk reviewed this document he ignored me standing there and went straight to the check in lady and requested she book us onto the flight.

I approached Reinhardt van Niekerk again who did not give any explanation but merely stood there showing no concern or respect for myself and my wife. I told him I was not happy in the manner he conducted himself and almost cost us our flight to the Philippians. He merely walked away and showed no respect for us.

As a normal citizen like many, I want to see QATAR management carry out an investigation in this matter and I want to see action taken against Reinhardt van Niekerk for his unethical business manner he conducted as a floor manager who is meant to be in charge and supportive to fliers on behalf of Qatar airways. The check in lady was embarrassed, especially when I requested his name from her so I could escalate this matter further.

I await a response from QATAR airways management.

On 2nd of Sept. we received an e-mail from you about flight cancellation:

I contacted customer services by Facebook and by phone and explained, that going to Australia is a matter of urgency, because we are Australian citizens and my husband being operated in Bulgaria needs emergency health care in Australia. How dere you canceled the booking of a paralyzed man in need of medical care? Hou and who is deciding which passages are to be removed? I am quoting: "The passenger list is continually assessed and based on a range of criteria, including compassionate and medical requests" Did you have compassion, or I was not ill enough? At the time of the booking, your staff knew very well what my condition was and explained the way my wheelchair was to be boarded.
Now we are frustrated, because we see, that the flights are scheduled and will be completed. This means, that we were miss informed and we had to look for ways to go to Australia, which means that we have to wait another 3 months to get there. Maybe you've done that in order we to ask for reimbursement of our money which was about 10000 euro and now if we want to buy tickets they cost 20000 each? Is that the reason because you miss informed us? This is not ethical and we are very surprised, that a company like yours can do such a thing! We are going to sue you for that!
