PulteGroup Issues with new home

Good Day - not sure who to exactly address this to, but I am quite frustrated with the purchase of this home. I am not getting answers, and I feel that I am just being pushed off with some sort of non-sensical explanation for everything. And since the walkthrough was a last minute rush the day before settlement, it gave me little time to address or check out anything.

Let me address the pool first.
I have been trying now since closing to get information on how to operate the pool. no one seems to know. I called the installers that either Bill or Andy gave me the name of and was told to get any information I had to go to "pool school" and since this was now not a new home, even though no one ever lived there before, I would have to pay for the school and the mileage for them to come out which was over a hundred dollars.
Well, that didn't help much. The spa doesn't work - he doesn't know why - he doesn't know if it ever worked. Said I had to call service, and it's costly to have them come out and troubleshoot and repair. I was not told that it didn't work. I tried to make it work on the walkthrough but was blown off by, it's probably a minor adjustment or maybe circuit breaker needs to be turned on, not sure. Well, it's not a minor adjustment and it doesn't work.
Family next door has a panel on their wall to operate pool. Me, I have to climb over pool equipment to just turn on the heater, which at my age is not really easy to do. I was given no instruction manual whatsoever. There are no switches to turn anything on and I am not a pool engineer so I'm at a loss here.
The best part is that I was told that once spa is fixed to turn it on, I have to blow into a hose to get it going. You've seriously got to be kidding me! Pool guy said that Pulte was being cheap and installed Jandy equipment and that's why I don't have a panel and everything has to be done manually. That is just not acceptable. It is not self-draining and I am not here year round so that will be an issue as well. I don't know how to heat the water for the spa, if it ever should work. I have climbed over the pool pumps to get to the heater and almost killed myself in the process.
I have a pool at my residence in PA and it has a panel where the circuit breakers are along with switches to turn on lights, heater, pump, spa, etc, atc. as well as a Jandy remote control. Here, I have nothing!

DISHWASHER: My silverware holder disappeared. Was there when I did the inspection - now it's gone - along with any samples of detergent, etc, that were there when I did the inspection, poof, all gone. I can't use dishwasher - no place to put my silverware.

FAN IN MASTER BATHROOM - TOILET ROOM - NOT WORKING. Was told all that would be fixed by the time I moved in. I made settlement September 22nd. Still not working.

OUTLET IN LIVINGROOM FLOOR - I can pull it right out - outlets are sunk in so deep you can't reach them.

SOUND SYSTEM - I'm sure it's wonderful, but nobody has been able to tell me how it works or where the main panel is for it. nobody seems to know. so I have wonderful speakers in ceilings that do nothing.

PANEL BY GARAGE DOOR - another feature that nobody seems to know what it's for. I asked if I could hook my Xfinity security system into it and was told, sure no problem. Guess what, you can't!

CAMERA OVER FRONT DOOR - asked about that and was told it was just a dummy and didn't do anything.

BEEPING: something is beeping and constantly saying "low battery". Has been doing that since July and still does it. Nobody can find where it's coming from. I have replaced batteries in every smoke alarm and it's still doing it - annoying as hell!

FRONT DOOR: the handle is loose. you can tell that there's water damage under door by the wood on bottom of doorframe. door does not have a tight seal. I can tell the difference from that door and my door at 5205 Turtle Creek Circle. Was again told yesterday, oh, it's nothing and just take a picture and send the door handle back to Schlage and they'll replace it. What about the rest of the door? if there is water infiltration and it's not a tight seal, that's not good.

Oven hood didn't work either, but I just replaced that myself.

I could go on and on - and yes, I understand I bought a spec house, but I paid exactly what it was appraised for, so I expect it to be in working order.

I was also not told that as soon as I signed on the dotted line they would start building on the empty lot next to me. Had I been aware of that I probably wouldn't even have bought the house. They are literally digging two feet from my house. Have put up no fence and all the dirt is going into my pool, lanai and filter system for pool, and I will hold Pulte responsible for any damage to pool or filter system from the dirt and dust created by this.

WAP - Nice to have a wireless access system and again, was just brushed off by being told, we don't know how it works but I'm sure Xfinity can tie into it - well, they can't. I was given no manual, no instructions for anything in that house.

I ALSO WAS TOLD I have a smart switch, but I haven't found anyone smart enough to tell me what it does or how to use it.

GARAGE FLOOR - this used to be the office and toilet for public - the garage floor was an abominable mess and they did agree to coat it. However, the floor already has two cracks in it since they coated it.

DOWNSPOUTS - There were no drains placed under the spouts which caused erosion of soil and left holes in the ground - none of which was remediated.

I cannot tell you how deeply disappointed I am in how I am being treated. I had absolutely no issues with the home I bought two years ago and this one is a total nightmare and complete disapppointment to date.

There was a safety fence placed around pools which is removable, but none of the plugs are there to put in where the fenceposts were - next door was left with those plugs to put in. I was just given some pat answer to get rid of me.

Haven't heard from anyone since before settlement and I reached out to the people I knew from purchasing this house to assist me, but haven't received much assistance. I know Bill and Andy have tried, but they don't seem to have answers either and I need more than just being given pat answers and brushed off. My neighbors next door didn't have that experience so I'm not sure why I am being subjected to this.

PulteGroup Did not honor 10 year warranty

My wife I purchased a new home from Pulte Rivers Mist subdivision in Richmond Texas. September 15 2009. I filed the claim with Pulte Warranty Department September 2019. I was contacted a week later then a Pulte rep came out and looked at my cracked ceiling and cracked tile floor. A month later they send out engineer assistant measure the entire house and level checks and take pictures. She clearly saw the issue and 3 weeks later they come back with it was do to lack of or to much watering. paying 6.150.00 for repair not counting inside repair Jericho foundation of Houston said it is the foundation installing pillars under foundation. I will never buy a Pulte Home again.

PulteGroup New homes sales not refunding earnest money deposit

On the 4th of December 2019, my wife and I entered into a purchase agreement with Pulte Homes in Las Vegas - the Reverence Community. We entered into the purchase agreement as we had an offer for employment in the area and were going to occupy the home as our principal residence. The purchase agreement is HB00494285. We gave Pulte a check in the amount of $20, 000.00 as an earnest money deposit. We executed this agreement in good faith and began the process of obtaining loan approval via the Pulte Mortgage Company. Being ex-military, it was our intent to finance with a VA loan. The VA requires that the home be your principal residence in order to obtain the VA backed mortgage.

In the last week of December, I was made a counter offer from my existing employer which required us to stay in Texas. We made Pulte Mortgage aware of the new job change and informed them the home in Vegas could not be our principal residence. We did, however, discuss whether or not we could obtain conventional financing if we chose to follow-through. The Loan representative qualified us for the conventional financing without us signing a formal request to do so.

In mid-January, we informed both Pulte Mortgage and the Pulte Sales reps in Las Vegas that we intended to cancel the purchase agreement and requested that our earnest money be refunded. We were told that we had to sign a cancellation in order for the refund to even be considered. The Pulte Sales Representative who we were working with, Kristin Kornieck nor her boss, Bridjette Shelfo would reply to either email or phone calls.

We finally signed the cancellation agreement, believing we had no recourse to secure the return of our earnest money, even though the cancellation stated they would keep our deposit. We should have retained legal representation instead. We will likely do so, absent a refund of our earnest money!

We were only told that since we could qualify for the financing that we had to either purchase the property or lose our deposit. we have all of the email exchanges - too numerous to include here - requesting cancellation and the return of our deposit.

The Sales office allied by saying they had already begun construction on the property, which was a lie, as my daughter lives in the community and could see nothing had begun at the time we had request the cancellation.

We believe that Pulte homes has stolen our deposit based solely on the fact that we could qualify for financing. My employment did not allow us to make a move to Las Vegas and we therefore had no need for a home there. We communicated that to Pulte on numerous occasions.

We believe that Pulte is a horrible company and that the Sales Team in Las Vegas is acting unethically and with malice, retaining our $20, 000.00 deposit, knowing full well that they can resell the lot and probably has already done so. A totally unprofessional team!

How can Pulte keep our money knowing we could not live in Las Vegas!

We only want the return of our earnest money - $20, 000.00

T. McKeen

PulteGroup poor quality, poor warranty response, unethical business practices

The quality of the delivered townhouse style condos in Mountain Lakes, NJ is atrocious, and the warranty process is frustrating, dishonest, and unethical. On top of that we suspect financial fraud and are working on our case with a litigator.

In our brand new condo we've had never-ending issues. And we are the ONLY owners on this community since past year.

Below are just a SMALL sample of them - we have a lot more, and many active warranty issues that are still not resolved - these issues are not routine, small issues like floor creaks or nail pops from ceilings/walls.

* Carpet unraveling due to not being installed properly. Fixed in a poor way with exposed carpet backing on section where the carpet threads already came out.

* Kitchen and laundry room cabinets that *bend* when you put normal everyday items on them like dishes in the kitchen and laundry detergent in the laundry room. The cabinets are worse quality than Ikea! We were told the cabinet shelves won't be replaced unless they bend so much that they break. Its not real wood, it's particle wood.

* Some of our brand new cabinets have already had to be replaced because of installation/material quality issues.

* One wall stud wasn't even nailed into place, we could move it sideways with 1 finger.

Other studs are not properly nailed into place either. The warranty manager asked if our own contractor could nail them into place instead of Pulte employees!

* A toilet wouldn't flush properly and the warranty manager (in writing) tried to lie and state that that's how low-flow toilets worked - meanwhile we have 2 other toilets of the same design that flushed properly.

*HVAC system stopped working twice in the summer, with 4 visits necessary from AC technicians due to incorrect sump pump discharge routing. The issue took legal threats and months of back and forth to get fixed - and the core issue was over a $3 section of pipe that need to be added for the sump discharge and routed to a drain.

* Interior wall drooping and crooked on one side.

Mostly fixed after 4+ attempts - but still not all the way straight. They say it falls under their margin of error so its acceptable.

* Missing shingles on roof with exposed building envelope allowing water to enter. Fixed after weeks of legal threats and several visits from the Pulte warranty manager.

I've heard Pulte is being sued in North Caldwell because of water intrusion issues across their property there.

* Windows that don't open and close properly - ALL latches had to be replaced because they were filled with drywall dust. Now some windows make terrible noises when opening and closing - and we've been told we just have to "wear them in." And these windows when pulled out of the unit works perfectly.

* Every single window (except one that had to be replaced because it was installed with a broken frame and one window in a bathroom) is difficult to open because the window openings were not built square.

* No bank wants to cover so you have to go with Pulte Mortgage which gives you higher APR then outside. And this news comes after they have your initial deposit.

If you would like to learn more about our experience, feel free to come by as we are the only ones living here when this property has been in market for over an year so far.

PulteGroup construction / appliances / customer service

Since the day we got our keys on November 30th 2017, we have had nothing but issues with Pulte.

We had a list of items that needed to be fixed or addressed. One of the main things being our hood above our stove. They installed the wrong hood and told us this was what was listed in their plans. After some back and forth, we provided proof of what we ordered at the design center. We were told they don't offer that hood but since we provided proof, they would make sure they got it installed. The correct hood was then installed maybe a month later. Only to realize the hood stack was not correct. We sat for months without the proper stack and venting. The wrong hood stack was delivered multiple times or delivered damaged. Between whirlpool and Pulte, no once could seem to figure out what was needed. Again, this took months to resolve.

Once the correct hood stack was installed, we realized it was not venting properly. When I called to address this issue, they made me feel as though I didn't know what I was talking about. I sent pictures and examples of the grease buildup and they told me this was dirty due to "customer maintenance". After dealing with the back and forth yet again, they finally sent someone out only to verify we were right and our hood was not properly vented. In fact, they never installed a specific piece and left it in our garage the entire time. If the contractor had not entered our house through the garage, he wouldn't have noticed this piece sitting there.

It took a year to get this resolved. Only to have to deal with issues AGAIN with the product they installed. The piece that turns the vent on and off broke. Twice. They fixed it the first time and the second time, now two years later, I'm being told is not covered under warranty. I'm now being told my hood is a "scrap" hood and no one will touch it. It has never been covered under warranty. This is now the issue I am currently dealing with and being told this is not going to be an easy fix. Someone dropped the ball with pulte when this issue happened two years ago. And now I am forced to deal with their mistake. Now I am left with a hood that is broken and cannot be fixed until they figure out what happened. Their mistake is not my problem!

Another issue was my master shower. Which took months to resolve. When my baseboards started turning brown outside of my walk in shower, I knew I was dealing with a water leak and called to request it be fixed. They sent someone out and I was told it was my "showering etiquette" and that "I splash too much". I was asked if my kids shower in the master. I was asked how long of a shower we take. I was floored. These questions had nothing to do with the issue at hand. After pushing back AGAIN, they said the slope was off and tore up my shower. Thankfully they did because this confirmed there was in fact a leak. Not just a slope issue. I don't understand why I was questioned in the first place.

I could go on and on with the issues I have dealt with and STILL currently dealing with. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I have filed a complaint with the ROC and currently reopening that claim. My next step is an attorney. I know of many other people in my neighborhood that have dealt with or still dealing with Pulte issues. The amount of money I spent on this home should give me a better product. And the customer service and their urgency to fix anything is miserable. I feel I have to defend myself any time I deal with customer service or their contractors. I'm sick to my stomach over this home buying experience and will NEVER buy a Pulte home again!

PulteGroup pulte mortgage

Over the past weekend my family and I were planning, dreaming and excited of closing the house today 11/4 at 4pm.

This morning at 6:12am Pulte Mortgage loan processor requests me NOT to go for closing. Here is the message in brief "We are not able to do closing today as the investor has added additional conditions". It might be rescheduled to a week. I am not yet provided details thoroughly. Waiting on the details to follow.

I have made the wire transfer on Friday 11/1.

There are lots of 'Ifs and Buts', as I have provided notice to vacate my apartment and on the other side I have leased my house to a tenant. I am worried of the real closing date, as we have prepared to perform ritual activities on Wednesday 11/6. I paid tution fee till 4th to UCPS, have to pay again for the 3rd time and provide the extended date. Have to cancel my movers, cancel scheduled appointments with utilities and internet etc. Messed up our plans to celebrate our daughter's sweet sixteen birthday in our new house. What a mess? This is Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL.

I believe I am supposed to be updated well in advance, not by 6 hours prior to closing, particularly when such planning is required. It is a lot of emotional and psychological truma.

Who is going to bare these expenses, loss and damages?

PulteGroup pulte home

We bought a quick move in from Pulte in Santa Rita Ranch in Liberty Hill last year. Everything is falling to pieces, we have had black mold. The siding nails were through the main air conditioning pipe, the first guy they sent to fix it set fire to the wood frame inside the wall and my youngest son's carpet. We had a gas leak at the time also so it's a miracle my family wasn't blown to bits! The gas leak was happening due to the main gas pipe into the air conditioner not being fitted correctly. I complained several times about the smell of gas for a year before it was fixed. We have had the worst warranty repairs ever, total disruption to our lives with repairs and often people not turning up.
It also appears that the structural board is not installed correctly. My bedroom floor upstairs shakes so badly when the back door shuts my whole bed shakes! I have asked several times for the paperwork to show who inspected and signed off on the house but Pulte are not providing me with that paperwork ! I wish I had never bought this house. The stress it's caused is effecting my health, I can't sleep I often feel completely depressed. Does anyone in Texas already have a class action lawsuit filed that we can join in on?

PulteGroup foundation of home

Our house is no longer under warranty. However, when cracks were first discovered your company came out and verified that it was not a foundation issue. It turns out this was not correct and it is a foundation issue. In the 1 1/2 years following the cracks have spread across the house. An engineer has found the left side of the house is sinking and will require 9 steel pylons to mitigate. He said steel because the pond behind the house along with the way the house was built on a slope the concrete pylons would not last long. I would like to see the foundation report by your company when you came out and said it was not a foundation issue.

The address is: 6528 Lincoln Hills Court, Frisco, Tx. Del Web community
You can reach me at: Janice Fueller [protected].

If you wish I can send you a copy of the engineers report.

PulteGroup fridge "upgrade"

I have new home from PULTE. The base fridge model which is included in the package is ~$1500. I have paid $1575 extra to upgrade fridge. The contract does not say a model, just the picture. There are 2 fridge models look exactly the same like on a picture. One is $2000 another one is $3500. Of course people trust PULTE - they think it will be better model for this money. As a result PULTE installs cheap ~$2000 model. Pay extra $1575 to upgrade fridge from $1500 to $2000? What kind of "upgrade" is this?

PulteGroup warranty

The patio attached to the house one side has wash out it is cover under the written warranty. I call them three times no response these are the numbers
843 740 7270 704 543 4922 I get the same recorded message that you should leave all contact information and a brief description of the problem, and they will call back in 24 hrs during normal business hours. The problem the form asks for what state and region it is located but it only gives for the region in South Carolina the Charleston region not Fort Mill where I live so the form is useless for me. I should have check online better before I bought and saw the reviews regarding their lack of responding to warranty claims.

PulteGroup 536 beljon lane, aurora, ohio

Completely dissatisfied with the service and products this company provides. We are paying over $400, 000 for a brand new home. Everything should be PERFECT. Well it certainly has been far from that. I understand weather delays and other minor problems, however we have been in a nightmare dream in which we can't wake up from. Things were going well until we had a rain on New Year's Eve. House had roof walls, unfortunately no power, no sump pump either (which if house is properly constructed shouldn't need one).

My husband and I visited the house on New Year's Day only to find an 1-1/2 of water in basement. Going to our project manager, told sump pump should have worked (how would it work-NO POWER). Ready to walk away from the NIGHTMARE!

I will never build with Pulte again and neither should anyone.

Experiencing the same kind of issues here in the Grand Reserve (A Dell Webb community) in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Little or no concern for quality production, customer service or corporate follow up. Our project manager AND the Warranty Dept representative have been little or no help in resolving issues with our build. Delay after delay on promised repairs and replacements are not only frustrating but infuriating. Pulte, on the other hand, seems to not care about customer complaints - they effectively conceal avenues of relief. Who takes complaint calls? Who follows up on issues presented? Frankly, we are sorry we ever bought into the Pulte building concept and had we known ahead we would have NEVER purchased a new build in our community. PulteGroup unethical behavior

The supervisor of my house is the the worst communicator I have ever encountered. He is holding our warranty and has done nothing helpful in the process. trades have been not been scheduled, or when they are they do not show up which has resulted in me moving my work schedule around for them and losing days of pay for nothing. The work they have come to fix in the home has only been made worse. the super has not come to check on any of the work and does not respond to any emails or phone calls. I have been in contact with the actual warranty people, the "customer care manager" and he has been working with me more than the super has. I need information of someone else because I do not want to deal with the super anymore. I want to deal with someone who respects me, my home I just paid for, and respects my time.
ALSO. there is bad drainage and grading in my back yard that Pulte is very aware about and being in SC with the hurricane approaching this week my yard will 100% flood up to my house. previous times it has rained only a few hours half of my yard has been filled with standing water that stays for over 48 hours. THEY ARE AWARE OF THE SITUATION AND ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. it my home floods this week because of the hurricane, Pulte and I are going to have some major problems. I have let both the super and warranty manager know about this and I have yet to hear from either of them. I will be writing more emails and making more phone calls and complaints until I can get some respect and attention I deserve from a company who I have given my hard earned money to. This is beyond ridiculous and unbelievable unprofessional. Had I known this is how Pulte does business I would have taken my money someone where else.

Attached is a photo from the last day it rained here only for a few hours. this is over a foot of water that stayed for at LEAST 2 days.

PulteGroup property maintenance

I am a resident of the property adjacent to your new development in Tamarac, Fl (The Enclaves of Woodmont). Your property has not been mowed in months. The weeds are in excess of 4 - 5 feet. They actually are covering part of your "Coming Soon" sign.
The City has issued citations, but I have not seen any attempt by Pulte to correct the situation. It appears that the property is abandoned. The property, in addition to being an eyesore for the community, is increasing the rodent and other creature population. I would have thought Pulte would want Community support in their new development. By Pulte's lack of attention to the property, it does not bode well for what the neighbors are thinking.

PulteGroup just closed on new del webb in vandal

WE close 3/9/18 at 5025 Lilium in Plainfield IN del Webb Vandalia
in Plainfield

Numerous things especially weather items were addressed by Trent who I am not happy with as far as service and following up.
Cecil came on board and he is trying very hard to fox things he has gotten our porch and patio power washed but brown spots are still engraved in concrete.
it loos like we will have to buy grey concrete sealer and cover it up.
There is a big gouge in front porch filler then needs filled in
Vinyl Fence damaged when landscapers installed it

The metal flashing under font porch windows are bent and looks terrible-I would of preferred vinyl.

also our back yard is all full of weeds we can't even plant a lilac bush my wife bought.

We have been very unhappy with the overall construction with Trent and Zac
except for Cecil who all this was dumped on.
we would like our yard graded asap and we will do the seeding provided we get reimbursed.
we will paint outside if you get me color of garage door and reimburse us for paint

we would prefer that you fix the porch pillar

PulteGroup shoddy materials, sub-par workmanship, disrespect of customers' property

I closed on my home on [removed] in Beverly Hills, MI five months ago, with an extremely long punch list. As work took place to finish and repair things done incorrectly, work began on the house next door. As items were slowly ticked off my list, more things were added, for example; I finally got actual steps and walkway to my front door, when the porch was ripped out and redone unevenly and with gaps. water collected inside my garage and pitted the concrete (shoddy material used?) The list goes on. Meanwhile, the workers next door used my electrical outlets with out my permission, knocked a vent off the side of my house, and park their trucks on my property. Each time they (finally) repair damage they did, they damage swomething else. Sub-par materials were used inside as well. The floor (upgraded to level 3) dents and scratches with normal use. I spoke with [name removed] who promised to connect me with your quality control dept, but I haven't heard back from her. I would like someone to call me to discuss all of this, and see my house. Please call me at [protected]. Thank you,
[removed]

PulteGroup customer service & construction

Hi all. I would avoid Pulte Homes with every effort. I know there is always a degree of frustration with building a house, however, our experience has been like 5 months of dealing with a cheap, used car dealer. The house is getting ready for pre-dry wall inspection (was supposed to be first week of October), we have been dealing with large cracks in the block, they put one of the lag bolts through the main sewage drain in the foundation. They broke up the several feet of the foundation in that spot and then another few feet in an adjoining room for some reason. All of that during the middle of November, and nothing has changed since then. They have also not done anything about the construction folks smoking and just dropping the cigarette butts all over the house. In several places, the cigarette butts have almost caught fire and are leaving burn marks all over the flooring and framing. We have spoken numerous times to our Building Manager, and others above him. Nothing has been done. If any of you are interested in more details regarding a full list of the issues and actions, let me know. There are several builders in the subdivision, choose another. Building with Pulte is more heartache then it's worth.

So now it's 4/9/2018, we had a number of unaddressed items the day of closing. I was going to refuse to close on 3/30/2018, but was talked out of it by Carl (Chuck) Spires at Pulte. I should have known better. As of this date nothing has been fixed, they have reassigned both of the managers they had working on our house to a different neighborhood and have assigned yet another person. Below is the outstanding list as of today:

-- Still need extension cord for UC light in kitchen.
-- Paint spills on pavers on porch.
-- Yard is still terrible…can't walk without risking a fall due to lumps and spaces between patches of sod.
-- Dead spots of sod in the lawn. (Large spots, not smalls ones that will fill over time.)
-- Small spot of missed silicone between horizontal and vertical granite pieces to left of fridge.
-- Silicone scribe molding and between cabinet and tub surround in master.
-- Floodlights on the back of the house are very loose and swing a lot when the wind blows.
-- Paint drips and smudges on the front doors and door glass.
-- Drywall issues:
-- 3 visible bulges/seams in the master bath, 1 in the back of the left master closet.
-- Visible corner metal in the window of the game room.
-- Corner metal seam on column in the master bedroom.
-- Patch job where tray joins ceiling in the master bedroom needs to be redone/blended.
-- Door to back bedroom still sticks, even after a screw was driven into door frame. Screw not covered/patched, and has caused a large separation at the 45 degree join.
-- Door frame heights in front bedroom are mis-aligned.
-- Wall switch for small bay garage opener doesn't work.
-- Small garage door doesn't seal properly all the way across the bottom, mis-aligned.
-- Still not convinced the epoxy on the garage floor was done correctly. I feel like I was told stories about it. Needs clear coat.
-- Still have not received paint touch up kit we were promised.

Other things to mention:
-- Overall sloppiness of paint. Trim paint on walls, wall paint on trim.
-- Window claddings have paint/drywall on them, promised they would be cleaned.
-- Floors were filthy when we moved in. Dust on everything that was never cleaned off (same non-dusty fingerprints for weeks), though we were told the house would be clean upon signing.

Keep in mind that during the month prior to closing, all of these items and more were presented and reviewed many times. They are not new. During that time, we also caught them removing tape from spots that marked needed repairs or fixes without fixing them multiple times.

I have also been talking to other people in the neighborhood that have built with Pulte and having the same or worse experience than we have.

Pulte is also being investigated by the New Mexico Attorney General, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d6Vo3O3gIo. You can also see a lot of complaints at https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=pulte+homes+complaints

PulteGroup yearly home wellness check

We had our yearly wellness check done in Nov.2017. Most of the problems were taken care of but a lot are still waiting to be taken care of . We tried to get in touch with John Hazard (from pulte) to no avail. This morning I had called Rick and Phil who are Carolina Abors HOA community mgr. and assistant mgr. We have a spec home going up next to us and the workers were digging up our yard so I called them to get here right away and do something. Phil said they would be here, they never showed up. I can't believe the incompetence of Pulte to put people in charge of situations that they can't handle. Margie DeStefano 137 Tee Pee Trail, Durham, NC [protected]

PulteGroup no response from selling agent for 4400 west, atlanta, ga

I'm relocating from VA and looking to purchase a home in GA. I signed up on the Pulte website as VIP client. I got a call about preselling. I have been in the area since November 21. My realtor and I have made numerous attempts to make contact with the selling agent, Kallia Slutezynski at 4400 West to no avail. I'd like to speak to someone about this pressing matter.

Very Respectfully,

Shirley Thompson

PulteGroup guest bath shower surround & tub high maintenance

Im already over my 50 punch list of corrections items from pulte... Which ive dubbed the "short cuts builder". I still think about our large sink hole in the front yard due to an incorrect sewer hook up along with a back flow of sewer water into our master shower... Due to excess scrap wood debris in the outflow to sewer drain. Lastly im still amazed that pulte left us with and would not remove a large very dead tree in the back yard for which pulte said was part of our natural landscape. The dead tree had to be removed and cost me $2000. Pulte refused to help or hear about it because of the fine print in my closing paperwork "natural landscape" clause.
Ok... On to my complaint about the guest bath shower surround-
Problem-this item is a pieced together surround with three flat surfaces and two corner curve pieces. While this may be a managerial accounting decision point on a plotting map to save shipping costs there is a down side not seen until the shower gets used by the homeowner! The shower surround overlaps the tub backsplash and allows for drainage... Believe it or not for a behind the shower surround drainage? Strange right? Yes its true!
Our guest tub/shower gets a pink [censor] buildup at the tub lip all along the overlap surface of the backsplash and a black crud coming from the surround wrap around shower surround about every 4-6 weeks! I know its time to clean it again because the pink [censor] appears and when I bend down to look at the overlap space... Sure enough the black crud is there too!
Solution - pulte should install a "one piece - tub and shower surround unit" so there is no space or place for any drainage! I can deal with the pink [censor] its that black drainage crud behind the shower surround at the tub area that is absurd! Pulte needs a better shower enclosure. Beware of these look nice shower pieced together surrounds. They are trouble!
