Public Storage - storage unit has rats!

I'm renting a unit in west sacramento. I enter my storage unit on may 28, 2018. Immediately I smell a stench odor. Once unit was open I notice my jacket on shelf with fabric torn. I found rat turds and more odor. I took jacket to property manager and she allow me to throw in dumpster. I return to unit and start to move boxes and a rat jumped out. Told manager there are rats living in unit. Manager offer me another unit in same building. However throughout the building their is the same odor. Most of my belongings have a stench smell and rats have damage some of my property. Who's responsible for pest control and who's responsible for the damage to my property?

I have been renting at this location for 6 years.

RESOLVED BY THEIR TERMS. PUBLIC STORAGE ASSUMES NO LABILITY NOR ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY. RENTER (S) ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY. ANY INCOMPETENCE ON BEHALF OF PUBLIC STORE IS THE RENTERS LOSS. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
