Ok.. So Bella ( my little Shih Tzu).. Yesterday I applied this Sergeants Flea Drops on her, ( we are going camping and I thought I could prevent fleas). Later, last night she was crazy restless. tremors, looked wild eyed. and could not relax. I washed her, thinking her skin may be irritated with the flea stuff. but she continued to get worse. Finally going to the Animal Emergency Room., She is now on IV, s had to have muscle relaxants, Valium and a charcoal treatment. I cannot believe that there is no warnings on the label. It is a vague statement that says if your dog has adverse symptoms contact your vet... No where does it list what kind of things may occur.
The Vet knew exactly what was going on. She says she see this often. No how bad is that. Why is there no guideline and regulations with these products. I am very upset. The public should be informed of this. We have s warning on OUR medicines etc. Why not on products for animals..
