Apple owns the ITunes cards and sets the return policies for them. Regardless of what the receipt says, there are restrictions to returns, and gift cards, music cards, reloadable cards, phone cards, etc can not be refunded in the store. The cards state this on the back of the cards. Read them next time.
If customers would not abuse the carts (trolleys) they would work like they are supposed to. Here in the US, people use them as dog carriers, let their kids run around with them, grown people ride in them, jump up and down in them, and the stores can't say anything.
The card can not be fixed without the receipt. Anytime you buy a gift card of any kind, it is a good idea to keep the receipt. Saying that, once you pay and get a receipt, the card should be active.
There should have been a link to let the airline choose your seats. I have flown AA many times and never had to pay unless I wanted a specific seat.

When I was a smoker, a long time ago, they were called Marlboro Lights. Now people call them Marlboro Golds. When I had to fill in at the front of the store a couple years ago, a customer asked me for Marlboro Golds and I had to ask which ones, as no pack has GOLD stamped on it. So yes, sometimes, it can be confusing. This is nothing to make a complaint over. I think you just don't like this guy.
You can thank the DEA and the federal government for that. With the changes in the law dealing with controlled substances and narcotics, pharmacies are being even more careful when filling these scripts. I can not understand why you would 'give up and be in pain' instead of doing what the pharmacist asked. It is his license and his prison term on the line. You will encounter this with every single pharmacy you go to if you have a control or narcotic.
I can see their point actually. How did you get injured by bending over to pick up something? It sounds as though you did not practice safe lifting.
The pharmacy is correct. Narcotics require a new script each time it needs filled. This is not a pharmacy requirement. This is a DEA requirement.
Simple solution: stop smoking.
