I ordered vital computer parts for my company's production database server. I paid for expedited shipping. Unfortunately, the vendor shipped them out via FedEx. It was supposed to arrive on Monday or Tuesday. According to FedEx tracking, it arrived at a local hub (a few miles from my house) at 4:00 AM and was put on a truck for delivery by 5:15 AM. I waited all day for the package to arrive. As I mentioned, the package was very important so I didn't want to be away and miss the delivery. 4:30 PM rolled around - no package. I called FedEx and left my number to make sure that the driver could contact me. 8:00 PM rolled around - still no package and no update to the status on their tracking site. I called again. The FedEx operator informed me that the local hub employees had left for the day and that he'd leave a message for them to deliver it to me as early as possible the next day. Infuriated, I called back to let them know that that wasn't good enough. This time, it turns out, the local hub manager was still there. They transferred me to him. He told me that they could not locate the package but that they'd keep trying. I'm going to give them another call in the morning.
I promise to never use FedEx again and to encourage as many other to do the same.
I bought a Canon DC last year. It works unsteadily, which means it stops sometimes automatically. It is very annoying!
Coach operates several stores within 20 miles of distances selling same merchandises with huge price differences.
I bought a purse for $398.00 at a department store and found out the same purse was sold for $145.00 as a clearance item in a nearby factory outlet within one month.
Will you be happy to see this happen to you?
I went to the official sprint store to get my phone fixed. It got fixed but anthony kindly suggested about upgrading, I was eligible. I am not the primary but I am on the notes that state that I had permission to upgrade, plus I had the code they needed. I had left earlier to wait for my phone to be fixed and thats when it was suggested. As Im there, testing my old but fixed phone, he checks and said 'Sorry you cant upgrade b/c you're not the primary.'
'But I am on the notes.'
'yes but its illegal to do so.'
I was then given the Customer service number to call and talk to them and I DID called. I spoke to the lady on the line and asked her why I couldn't upgrade and if it was illegal.
'No its not, you're on the notes and you can upgrade, even if the primary isn't there.' I was given permission.
I then told her that the guy Anthony said it was illegal and she then wanted to talk to him. I gave him my phone, which had gotten fixed and he talks to her. I hear her tell him 'she can upgrade and its not illegal.' With that he hung up on her and turned to me.
'I'm STILL not gonna give you an upgrade b/c its illegal. Now you can open another account and I can get you a new phone.'
I told him politely that I didn't need a new account and was given the right to upgrade, he even checked the system and I was on the notes saying I could upgrade. Then he calls 'mario' to come talk to his customer. The manager said the same thing 'its illegal and you can open a new account with a new 2 yr agreement yadda yadda. Plus 'policy changed not to long ago that states that its illegal for me to upgrade if I am not the primary and have been given the green to do so.
'The policy changed a few seconds ago? Sorry but I'm not gonna open a new account.'
'Well in that case you need to leave.' He tells the clerk 'I give you every right to kick her out.' And I was escorted out. Now I was being told 2 things at the same time and I am just as stumped as ever. This wasn't the first time this happened to me.
Several months ago At a sprint store in samsclub store I was also told that I couldn't upgrade b/c it was illegal, and the primary was with me. Ive had it basically with being told 2 different things and their wacky policy.
I did obtain their card and names at the store. Is it illegal? I don't know.
Sleepy's is having financial difficulties in this hard economy. Apparently charging too much for merchandise still isn't enough to keep their heads above water. They have terminated all of their store assistants (hourly employees) by claiming the position was never meant to be a long-term position. They now are claiming that the job position of assistant was meant to transition to the full sales positions in the company... when in reality they needed to cut costs so they got rid of many hard working people.
I was with the company for two years as a hard worker and was then told a completely bull excuse of why I was being terminated, with no notice at all, from my job. Since NY is an 'at will' state for hire and fire I have no legal recourse. I guess they can change the terms of someones employment or position whenever they want. Sleepy's is hurting and this is their way of cutting expenses. Sad.
I've had the pleasure of having two ridiculous experiences with these monsters. The first time they called about an old insurance company account. We had gotten behind and we agreed to pay NCO monthly payments for six months. They 'out of the kindness of their hearts' lowered the amount owed a bit. So we agreed to pay. I sent out the monthly payments as agreed. The last months payment was 2 days late due to a holiday. A month went by I heard nothing from them so I assumed the account was closed and that our obligation was satisfied. Yeah I assumed wrong. They called me harassing me, saying they are demanding another payment. I said, our agreement we had, has been paid in full. All payments have been fulfilled. She stated in a very snippy voice that we have to make another payment due to the fact that the last payment was two days late. I said you have to be kidding me. She argued with me for a good half hour about this. Stating she can take me to court and various other threats. I found it funny that she didn't contact me for a month. I explained to her, our business is in bankruptcy and that I am already violated out policy by paying her anything, but I wanted to make good on it. So it was a gift that we gave them anything considering our circumstances. I asked her for her full name and phone number which she didn't want to give me so then she sent me over to her 'supervisor'. A guy who sounded like he was fifteen years old. He threatens the same court crap. I explained to him that he got all we are capable of, $2500. I haven't heard from them since, that was a month ago today. I'm waiting for them to contact me another month later with more threats.
The second joyful experience was almost laughable. I had gotten at least three dozen calls from them harassing me about some old telephone account bill we had for $141 dollars from 2017. I explained that if they can send me some documentation of this account I will look into it and pay it if it is indeed owed. That assured me at least a dozen times that they would fax and mail me the document. I never received anything from them for months. Everytime they would call back and harass me, I would ask for the document and they would say its on its way. I never got anything. Today a guy calls me again and demands the payment by phone. I stated AGAIN i am not going to pay you over the phone on an account i don't know about, i need documentation. He states that hes 'not allowed' to send the document now since one was sent 7 months ago. I have never received anything. He stated that I or someone in my office had paid on this account directly to the account holder 7 months ago so i must be aware of the debt. I said well I personally am not aware and I am now the office manager so please send me documentation. He continued to argue with me for about a half hour, still saying hes not allowed to send me anything, that I have to just pay it now or further action will be taken. Further action? over 141 dollars? unbelievable, this is laughable. I asked to speak with a manager and he put me on hold for 5 minutes, no doubt recording me to see if I had anything to say to anyone in my office. I kept silent. He gets back on the phone and says his manager said i had to just pay it. I don't think so! I told him to send me something or hes getting nothing period. I said good bye and hangup.
These people are ruthless and take advantage of people. They think that threatening people will get the job done. Well first off its harassment and its illegal. I searched the net and there is thousands of complaints against this a**holes. How can they expect people to hand over their credit card and bank info without knowing what or who they are paying. There demands are ridiculous! I feel bad for those who get taken advantage of because there afraid of these people. To all you accounts out there, please, talk to you consumers directly, don't turn them over to these vultures. Because three of our largest accounts went bankrupt, and still owed us 80000 dollars, we were in a tough spot and spread out our money as far as we could to pay people what we owed but its been tough. It doesn't help to get threats from evil people like this! We are all just trying to make it! Stay away from these vultures!
On September 7, I placed an order for phentermine from generic-drugshop.com. When I processed the order. I thought was bizarre that they did not ask any medical questions so that I would be able to purchase a prescription drug. Their website advertises 72 hour dhl delivery. After I placed the order I was informed it could take up to a month to ship. When I requested a refund from their customer service number - I was refused. The horrible woman I spoke to yelled at me in broken English and refused to help me.
Well they hung up the phone on me and sent me an email about the item that i brought online that i had an add on and they sent me an email saying for me to get in touch with them to make sure my item can be shipped out to me faster, but they went and canceled my time without me telling them to do so, they are out to get your money and they just scam artist, please keep your eyes open on these guys.
She will hook you up with discounts like you would not believe i got my 3rd watch this month from them pics are of same watch you get so no funny business and quality is excellent - best watches i have got from them. Very professional and always get my messages answered within hours if not on the spot right there i get answers within minutes - crazy lol.
I was getting answers to my questions as if i was msn lol. In all seriousness these people are the *** and know what they are doing - keep up the good :)
December 22nd, 2017 A Safeco insured came into my lane causing me to lose control of my vehicle and be hit by another. The accident exacerbated. Some back problems I already had... They don't want to pay because my treatments would probably have been needed later on anyway... Insurance companies like that are the reason there are sooo many lawsuits.
I'm out a lot of money and a lot of missed hours at work and now definitely will only get relief if I have back surgery. I'm only 31 and have house note, car note oh and kids... But by all means please let your insured almost kill me and my children as we were left spinning in the middle of a busy interstate the weekend of Christmas. By the way she didn't pull over she continued on and decided later to go to the police station. So, how can i make life easier for an insurance adjuster and the CRAPPY company that they work for. And if you don't believe they're crappy just google Safeco auto claims and all that you find will be very very negative instances of this insurance.
This store is only a few months old and I have already seen many customers get "very unhappy" with the MEAT department. Today Sunday 9/14/08 I watched as 7 to 10 people waited for service the guy's there just seem to screw around and they don't do their job very well.
Anyway I wanted some steaks and I knew I was not gonna get any help from these guy's... so I grabbed two family packs of steak and 10 minutes later as I was checking out the noticed the meat was brown on the edges towards the underside and had bits and kibbles from perhaps some other meat is was gross!
I told the lady cashier and she said :oh, that's normal" I had her take it off my bill and gave it back. I am 42 that is not normal to sell bad meat as good meat at full price. I have seen day old meat for a price break... that looked better.
The butcher needs to be retrained or fired!
Comcast fraudulently took $452.28 from my son's checking account causing him over $500.00 in overdraft charges. After one month of multiple phone calls and speaking to multiple people they agreed they mistakenly took the $452.28 from his account and replaced it but refuse to pay the over $500.00 in NSF. Why are the repeatedly allowed to get away with this? When is someone with power going to stop them? If I took money from somebody's bank account without their permission, I would go to jail. What makes them so different? When is someone going to start helping the consumer and their rights?
I recently ordered a lens for my DSLR camera. After shopping prices on the net, I settled on the purchase of a Nikon 18-200m lens from soniccameras.com for $499.99. After a few days I received an email from Sonic requesting me to " call " and confirm my order> I was suspicious after this request thinking that i would get pressure from an operator to make additional purchases. I made the call and I was correct, I was pressured somewhat to add some additional lens filters to my order. After standing firm and refusing additional purchases I was told that the lens that I had ordered was backordered 2-3 weeks and would I be interested in a different lens, discounted and available for immediate shipping. (Although after some research I found the offer was grossly overpriced) I refused and said I would wait on the lens I had specified to become available. My conversation with the salesman was over immediately as we were disconnected. The following day I received an email from Sonic stating "Unfortunately we are currently oversold on the item you have ordered, and it is currently on a backorder for 6-8 weeks. Therefore, your order has been canceled. Please note, your credit card has not been charged". Looks like bait and switch to me.
I don't understand why a customer should have to pay to have a service person out to upgrade their service. The customer is going to pay more for the upgrade so comcast is going to increase their profit. I don't have a box so I will have to wait around during their "window" of 5 hours and pay them for doing so. There has been many times in the past when I had to wait over five hours for the service person to arrive. Oh well, guess I'll have to watch comedy central on-line. I feel better now.
August 20, 2017. Fed Ex driver drives up my driveway at about 30mph and hits and kills my dog! Not only did he hit and kill my beloved dog (who is like one of my children), he has to be told to inform his supervisor of the incident and in doing so, he is observed laughing on the phone!
Additionally, subsequent information reveals that this Fed Ex driver has prior careless driving violations and then 2 weeks after killing my dog this same driver is pulled over for careless driving and issued a ticket that pulls his driver's license!
I am one of many very unhappy BlueHippo customers. I unlike many did receive my computer but not without a run-a-round that would exhaust a marathon competitor. My nightmare began mid 2007 with a late night order to BlueHippo, with hopes of collecting, research, and retaining information for a future business I had in mind. After dealing with BlueHippo for months the dream of starting my own company was washed out with the despicable and fraudulent acts of this second party computer distributor.
The same happened to me as so many others but I took it to the public. I closed my checking account, published a paid add in our local paper searching for other victims, called the BBB in MN and Baltimore, MD, called the police and an attorney, then the Attorney General's office in both MN and MD. I kept records of every action I took and then sent it all to BlueHippo's Head office.
After speaking to the Attorney General in Maryland I'd found out BlueHippo had just settled a case via the Attorney General's office with just over 300 unhappy customers. She had encouraged me to get my info into her office ASAP, as well as anyone else from my area because the next case was already being worked on and soon to be filed. She emphasized quickness because she believed BlueHippo was preparing to move out of Maryland. After contacting BlueHippo about my newly collected info, three weeks later my computer was at my door step via DHL delivery.
The delivery was six weeks after my checking account was closed. Although I never received all the extras I did have the computer and I have never heard from BlueHippo again. I say this because what was going to be a $2100 purchase turned into an $800 purchase, and although I had signed a contract they found out I could still collect through the AG's office for breach of contract on their part.
Don't think you can't collect call the Attorney General's Office in Maryland. I would love to know how you made out. Good luck and God Bless!
Thank you for voicing your opinions, my wife and I truly appreciate it! We had originally purchased a Blue Green membership about a week or two ago and immediately went online to look at consumer reviews, we found this website and all of the "pissed off consumers" here and immediately wrote our cancellation letter and sent it to their corporate office in Florida. The next business day that they were open we contacted the office and told them that we sent the letter in the corporate office and that we wish to cancel, they asked for us to stop into the office, which we did because we wanted to drop off the books that they gave us. When we were there the head salesman told me and I quote "sure you are going to find some complaints, we have 185, 000 owners of course you are not going to make everyone happy, we have a 87% satisfaction rating". I said if that is the case you have about 20, 000 people that are not happy, that is a lot of people. He really tried to make it seem like 20, 000 unhappy owners was not a big deal. He proceeded to try to sell me with a "special deal", at that point I was not interested, gave them their books back and signed a paper saying that I canceled on the specified date. Thanks- fellow consumers for letting us know, not to deal with this company, we really appreciate it, it is a sign that free speech is not dead!
Bob's DISCOUNT Furniture is called that for a reason. The couch I ordered was delivered with a hole in the fabric; when I asked for a new one they said they didn't have another one like it and would send some one to repair it. We could not schedule a time to fix it that would work for us so they're solution was to send us a package of fabric. Needless to say, it never got fixed and to add insult to injury, the couch and love seat didn't wear well and looked shabby after a few weeks. never again! I'll stick with Jordan's, so much for "I will make you happy."
I too have been ripped off by Vonage. I canceled my service and had to pay for 2 lines of cancellations of $39.99, and also the equipment for $79.99. I don't want it, but they won't take it back. One phone line was a $24.99 rate, the other a $14.99. But yet I pay the $39.99 for each one. Even though the service was less than perfect. Did not work most the time, not compatible with my internet service at all! When you cancel they harass you to remain a customer. The response team leaves messages for me to call them back, but can never get through. We have been playing phone tag for a week now. I do work, and cannot be home the hours they are available, not sure why they cannot handle it via email! At any rate, I am still trying to get a hold of the response person!
I am mad/pissed due to Easy Saver has been billing me for 14.95 a month since I bought some flowers for my boyfriend from www.proflower.com. I have had unauthorized charges since June. I didn't realize this until I saw on this months statement when my credit card was paid off that I had this amount billed on my credit card. I know that I am not the only one who has had this happen to them, so i am filing a complaint against easy saver to try to stop this from happening to them too. This company is going to look bad due to all the complaints that has been mad about this company. this company needs to get their head out of their butt and start to think of what they are doing to people and their own business.
I ordered Wu-Source Tea's "free trial" for 4.95$ late one night. I got up the next morning and had an email form them thanking me for the order and describing all sorts of charges and things that came with the free trial that weren't mentioned in the "free trial" offer. I immediately sent them an email declining the "free trial" and stating why I was declining. They sent the tea anyways. I sent it back at my own expense. I received an email stating they had received the tea and I would receive a full refund in 2 weeks or I could email them.
The refund never came, the email address doesn't exist, and they have taken 95.00$ out of my checking account with no further tea or emails from them. I have had to call my bank as of 8/13 and now change my accounts to stop these thieves.
I ordered a bridesmaid dress from this online retailer. It offered the least expensive price but not by much. I received the dress and it had the wrong underlay color. I called customer service and they offered NO help. The dress was only identified by the outer color, which was correct. I had no way of knowing until I received the dress that I had somehow ordered the wrong color! Their policy is no refunds, no exchanges, no customer service, no matter what. This is NOT conducive to ordering apparel. Also, despite sending in my measurements, the dress was ridiculously large. Of course, this I cannot fault the retailer for, but is another reason why buying bridesmaid dresses online with a retailer that does not care about customer satisfaction or business ethics is a bad idea! Pay an extra 15.00 and STAY away from House of Brides!
I went to the Guitar Center store in Allen Park to buy a BC Rich Virgin. The asst mgr was the one who was helping me out, and he told me that they didn't have one at the store. He did, however, try to upsell me to a $600 used guitar. I explained to him that I was just starting out, wanted something cheaper, and was going to order the virgin from their website (their website had them in stock). He assured me that I didn't want to do that and that I should put an order in with him in case it came in damaged, had a defect, etc to make it easier to return. He gave me a runaround BS story as to how long it would take to come in (couple days, week) so I decided to go ahead and have him order it. BIG MISTAKE. First off, they made me pay IN FULL up front. Not really a big deal, but most places only require 10-20% down and the balance when the item arrives. Then I called them a week after placing the order to find out what the status was. After getting shuffled around on the phone to 5, yes 5, different employees, I learned that the asst mgr had placed my order with BC Rich themselves and that my order still had the "order received" status. Essentially that meant BC Rich got the order but hadn't done anything with it. I was also told that it could be up to six weeks before I got it! After the call, I immediately called up the guitar center website, ordered the guitar myself, and was assured that the guitar was in stock and would be at my door in less than a week! I then went back to guitar center, spoke to the mgr, and got a full refund on the special order. The mgr couldn't understand why the asst mgr didn't place the order for me through their website and couldn't believe that he put the order through the manufacturer when their own website had stock. I'll tell you exactly why - the person I dealt with had no interest in helping out a guy starting out on guitar. He wanted credit for the sale so he could get his commission on it. All I got out of the situation was a half a**ed "sorry" for my inconvenience and the asst mgr's incompetence. It would have been nice to get a 10% off voucher, a set of free strings, or even a free pick for God's sake for the aggravation! I'll never go back there for anything again. It's not worth having to deal with a**holes that don't care about what the customer needs, just how much they're going to spend.
Purchase Sears extra warranty for lawnmower, had 3 years took in for repair they refused repair saying abused (excess vibration loosened screws)(never used extended warranty up to that point) would not refund my money for extended warranty I paid for that they would not honor... so basically they took my money and gave me nothing but a sorry in return. Repair manager would not even give the courtesy of a call to explain as I had requested. Just don't buy warranty or products that you need a warranty on at Sears... their customer satisfaction guaranteed that they advertise is not true... guess since they acquired Kmart they have a new motto, "sorry"... cause that's all they could say or do :( I used to love Sears, now I will avoid it, I'll spend my money where I am treated respectfully.
I've had direct tv for 4 years. I was recently at a fall festival in plymouth, mi and a salesman approached me about dish network. I was afraid to switch because we had decent service with direct tv. well, the installer brent came over to install the new dish network dish (which may I add was a very nice guy and very knowledgeable). the first thing we noticed was the picture quality (no we did not purchase the high def package). with all the rain we had I was sure the picture would go out as it did with just a bit of rain with direct tv. it was storming and still had a picture! so far I love dish network and it's about $25 a month cheaper. it was well worth the switch!
