Singlesnet is on the top of the list for Ghana Africa rip offs and it seems that singles net doesn’t do much to prevent it, They are aloud to make up phony names without proof of who they are and get away with it . I get 5-10 a day posing as Americans they lie cheat and steal. We have to police it they don't ! So if you are looking for that girl of your life? Go some where else that does some thing to protect you from it. It's a waste of time and money.

I dumped Comcast today for Cable TV. Now I am using Direct TV which is FAR better and I HIGHLY recommend it. Comcast Digital TV was terrible the sound was garbled due to lousy implementation and bad technology Now ALL my channels are digital quality and NO garbled audio. I get MORE channels at a better price. Currently I am using Comcast for two residential cable modem internet accounts and Comcast BETTER not screw with my VOIP phones that my girlfriend Mary NEEDS to use for her work which is counseling breast cancer survivors. In that case we will just get a business cable modem account from Comcast if necessary and then that will do for it.

However dumping Comcast for Cable TV is our means of punishing Comcast for two things which are lousy cable iTV service AND the download Cap on cable modem. So THERE Comcast. REALIZE THIS. I am not going to stand for substandard or pernicious services from ANYone ANYmore. I regret I didn't go over to Direct TV a LONG way back, but I have now and am SO glad and HIGHLY recommend that everyone with the Direct TV option USE IT.

I am having the same problem with Direct TV. I am trying to cancel my service and am getting the same $300 cancellation fee for the supposedly "2-year" agreement. When I contacted them to see what they could do to keep my as a customer, they said to check my email for promotions. However, the day I tried to cancel, the offered me $50 off my next bill, $10 off each bill for 12 months and free HBO and Starz. It's too late, I already signed with another service. Had I been offered these services before, I wouldn't have shopped elsewhere. My new provider HONESTLY told me about their 2-year agreement up front!

Now I am in a fight with Direct TV. I will contact my bank and dispute this $300 fee as well.

I ordered a necklace that was $8.00 i received the necklace. 2 days after receiving the necklace a $69.00 debit appeared on my bank statement. Then 2 days after that another $69.00 debit appeared again. Shipdani does not answer my calls and i cannot seem to get through to a person.

I too was taken by the Pro-Flowers Easy Saver scenario. I noticed the charge after I had paid my credit card off, then got this miscellaneous looking charge. I called the number and they said around mother’s day (the busiest flower buying season of the year) they basically slipped the language in and lots of people accepted, not noticing. I am disappointed in proflowers for the way they handled it. I've been buying flowers with them for years and it feels like they were being sneaky. I will definitely think twice before buying flowers from them the next time!

I have been an expert with this company for the past 6 months. Recently they changed system and they not paying me for un-rated live chats. I mailed the community manager Alex several times but not got response. According to the Payment program un-rated are assumed solved and the expert is credited with 6$. But some of my sessions are 1 month old and they don't want give a damn.

It is very frustrating to spend the kind of money we spent on the 56 inch DLP TV and then have to replace the bulb at $150 every 12-18 months. That's crazy. We've owned a lot of television and this is the first one we've had to put that kind of money into on a regular basis. I was not informed of this issue when I purchased the television. In addition to the expense they are a very hard company to locate and reach. Then the first time I had to replace the bulb the amount of paperwork to complete was crazy. Now I need to reorder again, and am having trouble finding the site again.

They say it not a contract but an agreement, but that's just their term for contract!

On 03/31/08, I signed an agreement with joe t. for lafitness for personal training. I had said that I do not want to be in any contracts and that's why i'm not interested in bally's. he said it is not a contract but an agreement and that you can cancel it anytime. I spoke with a late 20's white male (wearing white polo shirt) on 06/25/08 and told him I need to cancel. he asked for my information and typed something on the computer and said, "it has been cancelled and you won't be billed anymore." I found on 7/28/08 and 8/28/08, I was billed once more. on 9/1/08, I spoke with tamara and jimmy from alsip, il location, kellyn from corporate, and joe t from the lansing, il location and they said it will be cancelled when 1 year is up. they said the only terms to cancel the agreement was 1.) have a note from doctor saying that you can't ever work out in your life 2.) find someone (friend or family) to transfer your contract to 3.) pay 50% of the remaining of your contract. I looked the checklist provided on day 1 and it said "I may voluntarily cancel my agreement at anytime during the initial term by providing written notice of cancellation 30 days prior to my next scheduled payment and paying a termination fee equal to 50% of my remaining balance at the time of notice." i'm paying $320/mo so I thought I would only pay $160 for 50%, but they meant 50% of the entire remaining contract. this was not clear and explained correctly to me initially. my father was there at the time of signing and he understood it the same way. they're saying it's not a contract but an agreement. but there are only 3 reasons which you can get out of the agreement which was not clear.

I signed up for a Home Warranty with National Home Protection in Aug. 2007. In Nov. they did not answer the phone for 4 days straight. I assumed they went out of business. I called my credit card company and reversed the charges. They then had not gone out of business and I reversed the charges. They did not put my account back in good standing for 5 months. They then told me that they would extend my account for 5 months since it took so long for them to put my account in good standing. My account has now been expired according to them-I only got 7 months on what was supposed to be a year policy. There is nobody there to talk too-they just put you on hold and pass you around to all different departments. What a waste of time-do not believe that there is a $50 Home Depot gift card, there is not. Be very careful doing business with this company-they are bad news!

Pizza Hut-North St Petersburg Florida (4th St). On Thursday 08/28/08, I ordered a Medium Pepperoni & Sausage pizza w/ order of wings. The wings were not how I ordered them nor was the pizza hot! It was cold and old tasting. The Manager did not give no satisfaction and just Saturday 08/30/08, the driver threw my mothers change on the ground. The Manager was called and did nothing to satisfy the disrespect that was given!

VERY DISSAPOINTED! I love Pizza Hut but there are many more pizza joints around that satisfy and respect their customers. I believe that management needs to train their employees a whole lot better then they have.
I recently purchased a copy of madden 09 and am having disc read errors and have yet to complete a game. A few months ago I purchased GTA 4 and had freezing issues. I called Microsoft and they took my xbox, supposedly repaired it and sent it back to me. This process took four weeks and countless hours on the phone with moderately slow people.

I now have freezing issues with the new game and am hearing more information on having an old xbox. Microsoft wont repair my xbox or do anything to replace them...I don't understand. They don’t make any money from console sales, all revenue is generated from game sales. Why are they insisting people go out and buy another console...I want to switch to PS3, its blueray and not near the problems. I see the writing on the wall...First Vista, the biggest flop in OS history then xbox.

I'm buying a MAC and a PS3 and boxing up my xbox and PC for a UPS delivery to Redmond, WA with a big "thanks for helping me make a change" letter. Bill Gates...your foundation does great things for people who don't have resources, your company does nothing for the people who give you the resources! Thanks a bunch BILL.
I also called my family in China on 31 AUG from Changi Airport, Singapore. I did not buy the phone card thinking that that might be expensive as I might not have used up all the credits in the phone card. So preferred to use my Gold Visa Card. Just checked the account and to my surprise the total bill charged to my account is about US$80. Talk time would have been hardly 2-3 minutes.

I needed some front end work from a collision. It wasn't that bad. Needed new hood, radiator, etc.

Took my car to Excel Automotive in Chesapeake, VA and was quoted what I thought was reasonable.

They claim to have fixed everything. My car spent 3 weeks in the hands of these incompetent !***!

After 3wks I finally get my car and the A/C seems to be working until I get home. So I take it back. Then they say I need a new compressor etc.

Pick up the car and break down on the way home. Now the transmission is leaking. Take the car back and they replace the radiator, but now the radiator fan is hitting the engine. It has now been a month and my once decent car is still not right. BEWARE OF THESE IDIOTS!

I'm usually pretty good about checking out business for services, but this time I didn't and now I'm paying for it.

Don’t be a fool and give away your money.

These idiots probably don't have a legit license, but I’m going to find out!

I ordered a chair online which was on sale at Office Depot. It was 69 dollars and I have a coupon code which take about 10. So the total price was about 59 dollars. I chose pickup option since I don't want to pay for the shipping and handling fees. Anyway I went to the store and the cashier asked me what I needed. I told him that I'm picking up the chair. He asked me how much I paid for and I said 59 dollars. He was like wow that's cheap. He said it in a way that makes you feel like you're scamming the company or something. He then asked other cashier to look up the "price" to see if it's the correct price or not. So I waited for 45 minutes for another cashier to take care of my order. The cashier was slow and ignorant. He asked me why I don't go to a store that's near to my house. I think he just said randomly whatever. Since my house is 3 miles away from Office Depot. So I waited for another15 minutes just for the paper to be printed out.

I'm a RE agent. Buyer put in for a loan to buy a home (FHA). Property address in Aledo, TX. Loan agent-Darrell Smith, [protected]. Darrell said no problem getting loan approved. Their FHA underwriter had it for over 3 WEEKS & then denied it! Buyer in hotel & seller screwed.

Worst service I've ever had in my RE career & I will recommend all my clients not to use the screwball company. I will advise my clients never to accept a pre-quell letter from Flagstar, unless disciplinary action is taken against the underwriter and/or loan officer. If they strive to provide the best customer service in the industry they can only go up because they are the bottom ### of the barrel now in my client's books.

Bought a Hoover Self-Propelled Windtunnel Bagless and a Hoover SteamVac Ultra Carper Cleaner. This was before I knew just how cheap and bad their machines are. Nothing but plastic in all positions. Plastic is the cheap way of making products...and Hoover uses cheap plastic. On/Off switch breaks after 4 uses. 4 USES! Self propel quits after 1 year. SteamVac motor burns up after 8 uses.

Very...very bad machines and Company. Very BAD.

Avoid any products made by this company. You are at risk if you fall into their sales gimmicks or promotions.

Buyer beware at all cost.

I wasted a lot of money on this big Brand name. Don't fall for it!
When I called Circuit City about a bad bulb on my big screen TV they couldn't find my warranty in their computer system. I had just moved so I didn't have easy access to my copy. I went ahead and bought a $214 bulb myself and decided when I found the warranty I would call them. I found the warranty a few months later and when I called they said I could get a refund and not a spare replacement bulb. From the instructions I was given by the Circuit City Consumer Relations Dept. I sent in all of the required info to get the refund. I called about 5 weeks later to see what the status was and they told me it was declined because they couldn't send me a spare bulb. I told them that I was trying to get a refund and sent in a copy of the receipt where I paid for it. They said I could leave a message for the supervisor and if she decided to reconsider she would call me. I called back a day and a half later and an employee said they declined my request again. I asked to speak to someone again and they would only let me leave another message. No one has called me back. I have tried calling the main and corporate offices and they keep referring me back to the same dept that declined my request. This has been going on for over 2 weeks.

I bought a 08LL Ge window air-conditioner and in came damaged and never worked. I contacted repair and still 7 weeks later it's not fixed. I will never buy GE again! I don't trust consumer reports either. They gave the model under it a good CR only to find out it was a discontinued model so they tested the 08LL and it became discontinued a month after they came out with it. Maybe these two companies should quit deceiving their customers? Never, never, again will I buy GE. No wonder they are trying to sell they're appliance division.

On 08/19/08 a customer of mine went to menards to return 4 slab doors, they were the wrong size. She is a mom with a 3 year old and a 6 month old. She walked into the store and asked for help to bring in the doors because of the two kids (her husband was working and she needed to exchange the doors today) the person at he customer service desk told her that they had nobody to help her unload, it was her responsibility. She pointed out that she had two infants, "sorry", so she struggled to bring in the doors to exchange, after picking out the new doors she asked if someone could help her load the newly purchased doors.

She was told no one available today to load merchandise. Oh it gets better, then she goes to the trim department to det quarter round molding, she is told by the sales person to bring in someone who knows what she wants? What part of quarter round trim didn't he understand. She spent 3.5 hours there, well pissed off she left everything there and went to Lowe's across the street and was showered with customer service.

I called the local store after hearing her situation, to this date the store manager still hasn't called me or my customer about this.

Has this happened to anyone else as well, please let others know.

For no reason Advanta raised my interest rate from 7.99 to 20.99. This company is a rip off. Canceled my card, and paid balance in full. Buyer beware! I had used the account for business uses, and charged, and paid between $1, 000 to $2, 000 per month. They still owe me my cash-back money. Think I'll ever see that. I don't think so. I have a great credit rating, and was never late. The rep I talked with had a bad attitude, and left the impression, if you don't like it, leave. I'm 64 years old, and have never had anything like this happen!

In February, 2017 my ATT/AT&T TILT phone was stolen. The HTC 8195 is pretty much the top of the line at ATT/AT&T with the IPHONE so the cost was above $400. Several weeks after buying it my phone was stolen- the perpetrator answered it several times the next day. This phone is serial number identified, has GPS etc but ATT washes their hands of it and actually facilitates the trafficking of these stolen phones. They refuse to insure these phones, have no program that they'll talk about to recover or catch those reactivating with a new SIM card and essentially laugh all the way to the bank. DO a search on ATT TILT on E-bay or Craigslist for a quick demo of what's going on. Racketeering? Yes Negligence? Yes Fraud? Perhaps... They certainly have the means and ability to do more, to do something, why don't they? Check with your provider to see if they use stolen phones as an income booster or take the interests of their customer into account...

My magic jack broke (which doesn't work well with faxes and then plain broke) so we got a live chat instead of a phone number 2 1/2 hours later they went into my reg edit and stop me from being able to open any new files had me turn off my computer, again they have no phone and then I was stuck with a broken computer. their resolution after I had to have info pulled off and had to do a complete restore, was for me to redo the same stuff that broke my computer and when I wouldn't and just asked for a replacement they won't send a call tag to even pay for the return shipping of their broken piece of crap.

I placed an order with DOXY for some items, and I ordered the 1-2 day shipping expecting that they would arrive in a few days. The charge didn't show up on my account until a week later which I thought was pretty strange, now three weeks later I have not received any of the items that I ordered, nor have I heard anything back from all of the emails and the phone calls that I have made asking where my order is. I had bought these products as a surprise for my husband for when he gets home from Iraq and now it looks like I will never receive them.

I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I highly doubt that I will hear anything back, but I am going to make sure tat everyone knows what fakes they are.

My main complaint is the service is poor, but mostly the problem with automated answering system, it took me over an hour to contact a real person who could help me. I have mostly Sears products in my home but that will end because of poor service and a poor communication system. Sears has lost a life long costumer.

My request for service was submitted more than a week ago and as of this date the problem has not been repaired, the promise date is 9-2-08, after several phone calls I can not get anyone to tell me when they will make the service call, while writing this complaint Sears finally called and said they will be here sometime today, I have only been waiting 8 hours. Now I hope they have the parts.

I was called by wachovia on Saturday, August 30th, by Wachovia concerning my parents not having insurance on their pickup. I told this person that they were mistaken because I pay the insurance bill. They argued with me about it until I stated that I would like some proof of no insurance and told them I bet I could prove them wrong.

They told me to have my parents clean out the pickup because they were not going to deal with me any longer. I was then told they knew where I lived, I asked if that was a threat and was told to take it anyway I felt. I took it as a threat and called the police in my town and explained what had happened and to see if they could patrol the neighborhood a little more than what they do. I was at camp and my youngest daughter who is 18 was at home alone. I called the neighbors and asked them to keep an eye out for any one that was suspicious that came to the house. I called a friend in my parents home town to make sure that they would be looked after.

I feel if this company is doing this kind of thing to me, then just imagine what they are doing to others. I wonder if anyone was actually hurt by them physically. Something needs to be done before they go to far.
