They only people happy with Directbuy are those who are to arrogant to admit they were screwed. I am a member (3 years now) and I KNOW from experience that on at least 3 out of 4 products if you shop around you can get the same deals, often online stores offer free shipping and let you use your credit card, thus sweetening the pot.

The fact is they lie, the savings are not what they make them to be because the MSRP is never what retail stores charge anyway. And the service is very poor. I didn't do my due diligence so shame on me. I read about some class action suits in the US and you can bet that Ill be on that bandwagon if ever I find out about one in Canada.

These are some items I DID NOT buy at directbuy recently as I found them CHEAPER online. A queen size mattress set, a 52" LG LCD TV, a samsonite luggage set for my daughter. I did some comparative shopping this morning and found may other things that I could get for a very comparable price if I needed them.

Directbuy is just another type of retail for those of us foolish enough to join. But something should be done about their sales pitch as it is a lie.

I can say as a "former" Target consumer that the fan fair of what Target does for people, employees, and the community is a facade. Our son (employed) by Target, employee of the month type of individual, trying to get scheduled hours to work around his full time school load at UNM. They have his class schedule but instead of work around, they increase and overlap it with his classes and tell him it's his problem. Where do we learn important work ethics? Not from Target Management let me say that. Smoke and mirrors, what a waste of time.

In July 2017, my father was coerced into buying a 2017 Tahoe (LS) that he didn't need by a local car dealership(he already had a 2017 Silverado) I called Americredit when I found out they were the one financing the vehicle to tell them that the vehicle was over priced (38, 000.00 for a LS model) and that they should not finance the vehicle, they told me that they could not renege on a deal and it was my father fault that the dealership had lied and presented the vehicle as LTZ because he went along with it and there was nothing they could do. Sadly my father passed away this year, he had a massive heart attack while trying to rush to the phone to answer it and for what, a call from americredit. They would call approx 10 times a day even before a payment was due and harass me and him about a payment that was coming due telling him the payment had to be there day it was due (They called it reminders) Since his death I've tried to secure the vehicle as my own due to sentimental reasons, but they tell me they cannot refinance but they still take my payment every month but today informed me they had placed a pick-up request for the vehicle. My question if you're going to repossess the vehicle and get very little for it, why not let me buy at book value and I'm told I could only purchase it for the amount that's left owed on it. How stupid do they think I am, why should I pay 35, 000.00(the balance) on a 2017 vehicle when the top of the line 2017's is less than that. At any rate I think the car dealership and Americredit was in cahoots with this over priced vehicle and they harassed my father to death and now trying to play strong arms with me. They need to be investigated for calling before 8a.m and after 9pm at night also.

I was about to move in a new apartment and subscribe to Comcast's bundle service. About five days before I moved in, I was told that my apartment number was changed. Fine. Then I called Comcast about the change. The lady told me the install date would be delayed for about 2 weeks because she would have to re-key in my order, and that order would be seen as a new one. I complained and argued that it was only apartment number change, but I couldn't change a thing with her.

Then I tried a live representative a few hours later. She did not help at all and gave me the same answer -- no. What was even more ridiculous was that the install date (under the same order number) I had been told on the phone was put off for one more day. This was very frustrated.

So, I made another on-line order and found the install date for my "new" order could be scheduled for a date that was way earlier than what I was told both by phone and on line.

Luckily, a very nice representative got my complaint and tried very hard to solve my problem, after I chatted with her on line for about almost 20 minutes. Or, I would have been unable to use internet, watch TV and make phone calls in my own apartment for the first 15 days in town.

Comcast, your computer/order system needs a big revision and improvement...

My last two Verizon bills had a charge of 12.95 added to it. It said coast to coast voice mail. I don't use that service. I will file a complaint with the FCC if it is not taken off of my bill. Anything to screw the consumer. I am tired of it. I try and be frugal and there is always some co. or someone up to no good. I have automatic billing and I am sure I will be going through the meat grinder the next couple of weeks. I will cancel verizon next year regardless of the outcome. In fact I don't need a cell phone.

I have purchase a Cadillac here in Huntsville Al. When I looked at the car I told them that the car had to have Driver 1&2. The salesman said that the reason it was not working at that time that they would need to re-program the keys. So I took the car in to get it fixed. When I came to pick it up they told us that the feature was not on the car. I told them that I DID NOT WANT THE CAR. They talked us into keeping the car and give them a chance to find me another car. At this time we still have the car and are getting a RUN AROUND for 3 months.
Blue Hippo is a total rip off I have been a customer for over a year and when I first started my account I was so happy about the news that I passed the info to my mom, sister, best friend and my manger. And would you believe not one of us received our merch. We are trying to take them to court but it seems like we are getting no where. I hope the courts screw this company like they are screwing us! So, the lesson learned today is when asked, Will Blue Hippo ship when promise? *** NO!

I've been trying to get a decent credit card to help with moving expenses (seeing as how since I moved here I’ve had nothing but a hard time and is why I’m moving back ...again...). Because of these issues I’ve had my credit isn’t so good. SO. I figured I’d try this bank seeing as how they're the only company who would approve me (to what I thought had no annual fee).

I was so wrong. All I got was a $250 credit limit, my first bill is already here. I have a $95 program fee, a $29 account set-up fee, a $7 monthly servicing fee, and already the $48 annual fee! Now my available credit is $71.

Do NOT under any circumstances do business or set up anything with this company!

Next time I open a credit card account I’m going to do some better research and not settle for crap.

Bank of America has absolutely no shame. Seems they have removed all power from your friendly branch office and given it to the most incompetent group of immature idiots I have ever run across. Some of their little tricks are to freeze your account under the guise that you have suspicious transactions. They will automatically freeze your account if you have over ten transactions in one day. Imagine beith out for dinner with your boss. You offer to pick up the tab, but you can't. One of the idiots has decided to freeze your account. So you call in to their crack customer support area where you will be abused, laughed at because you are stuck at a restaurant with a frozen credit card or even better, left on hold for over 1/2 hour.

What a prize this Bank is to America.

Had problems with manager Tracey at holiday inn express magnolia Arkansas. She was very rude on telephone before my family even got to Arkansas.

Been going to magnolia for 28 years for family reunion. Went to breakfast and waited 1 hour for scrambled eggs. Went and spoke to manager and she said they don’t cook on weekends and they were just doing us a favor by cooking. Then when my boss who is vice President for Chevron/Texaco called for me at hotel the front desk told them we were not at this hotel. When I called to ask about this they just laughed. Well I can assure you that no Chevron/Texaco employees will ever stay at a holiday inn ever again. Holiday Inn ***.

Maybe a Hurricane can hit this hotel and blow it off the face of the earth.
For the last month on a daily basis I have been searching the web about a HP aio printers. I looked at all models. There seems to be a built in failure rate for the scanner and copier portion of these printers. After doing an hour long chat with them I have come to the conclusion that what needs to be done is a class action law suite to force them to fix the printers. Any one can search the internet, forums or other web sites to see the problems. I had two failures, different printers same problem. A design flaw seems to be the problem. I am looking for a lawyer to check into this.
Expedia sent me a notice that my flight had changed, which was fine. However, I have been receiving copies of this message for the past 5 hours every 6 minutes! I have called twice, and written their support staff several times and so far nothing has been done and all I am getting is the run around. My e-mail is getting flooded with this repeated message and they have not yet fixed it. I will never use them again. So yes, I am a very pissed off consumer. This seems like it would be an easy problem to fix yet no one has.
After 4 years my cell phone vanished. I had taken out insurance. Verizon told me there was no insurance. It had been removed when I asked for internet service removal. The *** there offered me $50 discount on a new 2 year contract. I went with Metro PCS, no contracts or deposits, and canceled with Verizon. They told me I have to pay for a whole month more, even though I was one week into the new month. That's okay... I will let everyone know they rip you off for the rest of my life. Hope it was worth that extra 80 bucks they stole from me.
I financed an automobile with this company 30 months ago. I financed 18K with payments of 479 per month. After paying more than 14K With no missed or late payments, I found that I still owe 13K on this loan. The company refuses to refinance or negotiate with me to lower the amount owed. I feel totally helpless.
The nice things first: I have been going to the Brentwood office for over a year and a half and have never seen the office dirty. I work in an operating room and am over sensitive about dust and clutter. The staff is friendly.

Now the not so nice things: The over $4, 000.00 I spent PLUS the time involved has not paid off in results and it is very disheartening. I am on my 8th hair removal treatment and have only seen a 40-50% reduction in hair. I can't justify the money I spent on under arms, full bikini, and leg(s) hair removal.

I was frustrated on my 6th visit when photos was taken of all areas (under arms, full bikini, and legs) to show progress of the hair removal. We are instructed to shave before our appointments at home because the laser will not work if the hair is there. They took photos of me after I shaved. How insane is that for them to take photos for progress after I shaved. Of course there is no hair there, I shaved with a razor.

Other issues, the phone goes to answering machine most of the time. I've left up to three messages over a 5 day window before someone called back. The first time this happen I thought it was just a temporary issue but have had similar thing happen several times in the last year and half.

The computer is "down" a lot so scheduling has been difficult at times. Their paper record keeping has been poor and some of the staff is not proficient with their computer skills as they spend 5 to 10 mins figuring out when my next appointment will be.

My appointments are every 7 weeks apart. However, scheduling conflicts with American Laser in Brentwood may make them 8 to 9 weeks apart. I'm not happy about that.

I've researched several medical journals that hair laser could be every 4 weeks apart but ALC has rejected this as acceptable practice.

Having poor results upsets me the most but second to that is: The technician swears she does not skip areas while applying the laser but she does. She should research "Two-Point Discrimination on skin". I (clients) can tell when areas are skipped and it takes away their creditability to insist otherwise. But I have over $4, 000 invested in the hair package and I signed a contract so I have no recourse but to go back each time, go by their rules, and hope for the best.

My suggestions to anyone researching this: Pay attention to the negative reviews. DO NOT GO TO AMERICAN LASER CENTERS. IT IS UNETHICAL WHAT THEY GET AWAY WITH.

I agree with "Pissed Off" I was fed the same story and if they aren't investigating the charges by the average American citizen that was taken for thousands of $...shame on our government. Of course the operative word is average, there to stick it to where ever there's a buck to be made. Thanks for looking out after us. I've gone to over 6 other banks and got 6 different answers about FDIC. What is clear, our government is more concerned about it's institutions then it's citizens, many of whom are seniors and suffered a great loss!
I paid my car off in April of 2017, it is now September 2017 and I still have not received my title to my car! Chrysler had no problem sending me my statements when they wanted me to pay my loan, but now they claim to have sent me my title three different dates yet I have NOT received ANYTHING from them! I WILL NOT GO THROUGH THEM FOR ANOTHER LOAN EVER AGAIN! I called again today, and was told to contact my post office because they had to be the problem. Funny how I can get all of my other mail, and all of the statements from them prior to the pay off! I also hate the fact that I cannot speak to someone from our country when calling! The accent is so strong it is difficult to make out what they are saying, then they get an attitude with you when you cannot understand them! Ugh! I'm so frustrated with Chrysler and will not give them anymore of my business!
I received sofa set from Harlem and they dropped my single sofa after 1 week. Within one month leather started tearing off from the corners. I took warranty which was a big joke. They came and patched that lasted for 2 days. Next time called back company never responded. Checked with Harlem and they denied helping as it is third party who takes care of warranty issues.

Poor workmanship with Harlem furniture, bad customer service. I will never buy from Harlem furniture again and I advice no one to even step in. They advertise with good deals and that is a biggest catch.

In recent months, we like many Americans have been suffering a huge financial challenge. Rather than use a credit counseling service, we have managed to negotiate payments and close all our credit cards ourselves with the same outcome proposed by the counseling services...except for WaMu. They refuse to negotiate, and refer you to Money Management.com, or Springboard. Or even funnier, their WaMucanhelp link. Like many other complainants I've read, the individuals we speak to are robotically scripted CSR's, with little or no ENGLISH language skills, and the "supervisors" we are referred to be a joke. They all say to call back in a few days, as if by magic, the aging on our account will force them to negotiate with us themselves, while all along our account racks up additional fees. So far the outcome over 2 weeks has been none. Now the funny thing to me is that while most companies are seeing the need to negotiate terms, due to the economy, this financially troubled bank would rather force their customers into a corner.
I booked a hotel reservation with BookIt.com and agreed to pay a certain amount. Then I get the hotel confirmation and it is a completely different amount! I was charged almost double! This is misleading and fraud. Don't bother booking with them- it'll be more later.

Then when I called them about it, the customer rep said there computer system apparently allows this change and the customers are screwed paying what the new, HIGHER amount it. They don't care and didn't bother to help me.

I travel a lot and this is by far the worst!

My area trees have grown to interfere with my signal. I called DTV to come out, was charged $49.95 and then had to wait 2 weeks for a service person to come to my home. He found a new location but needed a pole to mount the satellite and his supervisor told him they would have a supervisor come out. I was told they would contact me the next day.

After 7 days I called and they said it would be 2 more weeks. Today, 2 days before the second scheduled appointment, they called and told me they had rescheduled my appointment to 1 day early. I was unable to be home and when I asked for their original appointment time, they said the next appointment would be in 4 weeks...

After insisting several times that I be transferred to a supervisor, I was put on hold for 20+ minutes and then when the person I was talking with came back on the phone, I was told they would make the initial appointment. Stay tuned...

Listen everyone, if your company offer MetLife insurance {dental} be careful using it. When it comes to pay, they always find a way to get you stuck with the bills. first my doctor submitted a pre-determination for my surgery, it took about a month before they approved it and I scheduled my appointment to get the work done which is the right way, but before that I called MetLife to confirm my claim, the csr I spoke to told me if I get the work done, I’ll be using my whole maximum {$1000} and $400 will be out of pocket and I said ok. I got the work done, now they will not pay the bill stating that my surgery isn't cover and that they apologized for the mistake and that speaking with a csr is not a guarantee neither recorded, now I’m stuck with $1400.I disputed it, still don't work. I wish and pray that MetLife go to ***!

They serve NO Purpose whatsoever other than taking your money, they are Professional Con-Artists. I knew someone who currently works there and bragged about his Manager named Bert who had ripped off a woman out of $3K by appealing to her spirituality. She was also recently in an accident and was on meds so she wasn’t in her right mind.

This person was so arrogant and condescending about pitching people I am confident karma will get him in the end.

In the meantime, I advise everyone to check the NY Better Biz. Bureau, get on the Internet and spread the word about this scam. They will NOT help you after you pay them their fees. I was personally told this by my now ex-friend!

About a month ago, I lost my cell phone, and thought that I lost it in the house, well, to my surprise, a black woman had gotten a hold of it and was using it. The AT&T Company was billing us for the usage for the phone. After telling them for about 1000 times that the phone was not in my procession, they were still billing me! I asked them to track the number, but they wouldn’t. On a cell phone bill, you could always trace where a call came from. Well, they finally cut the phone off, but a few days after that, I tried the number, and somebody picked up, the same time the phone should’ve been OFF! I think that she knew somebody in the business, and had it turned on.
I’m a down to earth boy looking for a down to earth girl, I recently went on singlesnet dating site and was ripped off totally. I was having this nice conversation with this girl in Pennsylvania for a few weeks, and singlesnet somehow sent her a reply without me knowing, and the girl called me up, and said that I called her a b-t-h, and that she wanted nothing more to do with me! What a scam! When I called the girl and told her that I didn’t say that, she called the police on me, and when I e-mailed singlesnet, they acted dumb about it, like they didn’t know why it showed up on their screen!
