Prillo furniture

Hi, we heard that Prillo furniture is closing, they were advertising last year about closing it's been a year already and more
On the radio they were advertising last year about a 60% off so we went and look at some furniture but they were too expensive still so a few weeks ago they were advertising on the same radio channel about a 30% more so we went to look at the same furniture but there's no deal at all same price from last year. We are honest people but Prillo furniture are not.
This is false advertising, I think since last year they've been doing false advertising.

Prillo false advertisement and defective products no service (fraud)

To start they had exchanged a sofa that we had first bought for 4000$
Sold for 100 REAL LEATHER but started to chip soon after like flaking or shedding skin.

I bought from Prillo this sofa for an extra charge in April 2017 from the beginning we complained for discomfort and electrical mechanism problems not well adjusted.

Since then more than a year has passed and we have been taken for a long ride these people such as kieth prillo and his brother which you can find in the business registry with their address, in which they pay themselves lavish homes with stolen money from people like us. Next to a water font.
We have contacted Palliser and so far we are going in circles but never will give up .we will keep you updated.
Prillo and family are crooks do not buy there.
We can't sit in our sofa for 15mn and that's being generous from the day they sent it to us.
What goes around eventually comes around .that is why they are going out of business.
So far I have called many times, sent emails, and they never called back,

Prillo scammers/lies

My mom, my sister and I went at prillo store on 2018/05/30 (6025, jean talon st-leonard QC, H1H 1M6) to buy a bedroom set for $4712. The sellers was an old guy his name is Mario Filice he asked for a $200 deposit to secure the purchase for the bedroom set we chose, I payed the deposit with my debit card. On june 11th 2018 he called to let me know the bedroom set is sold out we have to come to the store and choose another one on june 12 2018 we went back to the store my mom did see anything she likes we asked for the deposit back, the salesman (Mario Filice) ok no problem I will cancel everything and you will receive a check in the mail. I never received the check I got a prillo credit from them instead of my check (june 18 2018) I went the same day to the store and told him I never receveived my check but I got a credit card from you instead he said dont worry about it. its because everything was in process thats why I still received the credit card he said just cancel the card, I said ok now tell me when I will receive my check he said since I paid with a debit card he cant do anything he has to call headquarter so they can refund me my money. He was talking to somebody on the phone they were arguing and I asked him whats going on and I was getting very upset I told him to take my money it was very easy now to refund me its a problem, he said he's not the boss he's just a salesman he doesnt do refund. I asked him for his boss number he wrote down the number for me [protected]) he told me to ask for Tom (Thomas Leeming). On june 19 2018 we cancelled the prillo credit card and I called Tom very rude guy and arrogant I explained everything to him he said he will call his salesman the find out whats going on and he called me back he asked for my address so he can send me the $200 deposit. He sent a letter on june 27 2018 instead to let me know all sales are final when I called him he said he will find me the same bedroom set in the US I cleary told him I dont want his bedroom set anymore we brought our business somewhere else I just need my refund and he hang up on me. I went to Quebec consumer right and told them what happened, they made me send him a formal notice to give him 10 to refund me my money. I sent him a formal notice on july 3 2018 after 10 days I called (july 18 2018) Tom said my bank Desjardins took the money back from him I said do not do business with desjardins I do business with TD bank tom replied one of them I said im going to call TD bank to find out when I called Td they said thats not true when I called him back to let him know he lied to me he hang up on me. Went back to Quebec consumer right told them he never give me my money back they asked me to do a small claim for $99 I said he owed me $200 only why would I do a small claim for $99 and I dont have any garanti hes going to refund me my money what was the point for me to come here they said they just needed the complaint in their system theirs nothing they can do about it unless I do a small claim (Quebec consumer right big wast of time) until now Tom never refund me my money. Im begging people dont go to any prillo store those peole are scarmmers and quebec consumers right is [censored] too.

Prillo chairs

i went to the dorion store 3 weeks before buying dining room chairs and was quoted 75.00 per chair

i went back to make the purchase only to find out he would not honor the quote and i ended up having to pay $ 100.00 per chair even though these were the same chairs

in addition i was told they would accept no returns as these were floor models and yet when i went three weeks before they were not even there but were in the warehouse and had yet to be assembled . i feel like this is a trick to absolve themselves of any defects

i do not like being taken advantage of and this is what i feel was done to me

Prillo Unscrupulous business practices

We visited a Prillo store on February 1 of this year to purchase a dining set. While we were there, we noticed a desk on the floor that was seemingly perfect for our office and listed at a great price of $1019. We excitedly purchased the desk, along with the dining set using a promotional 6-month financing at 0%. The tax on our total purchase was paid on that date, with the balance financed.
Upon delivery about 6 weeks later, we were surprised to find that the desk was too wide to fit through any standard door (even if we were to remove the frame). The delivery man said that this had happened at least one other time with another client, as this model is one solid piece and therefore could not be disassembled. As a result, we had to refuse its delivery and revisit the store to resolve the matter.
After visiting several Prillo outlets in the west island, we were disappointed to find that there were no other models available at the time. We were told that one possible replacement model existed but would not be on the floor for us to consider until later that spring.
Through April and May, we repeatedly called inquiring as to the arrival of this other model and were put off time and again until finally being told that this model had been discontinued. Each inquiry was met with broken promises to "call right back", and so we were left to pester the salesman. In early June, we were told of another possible replacement desk that would arrive within a few weeks for us to consider. Repeated emails for pricing information and arrival dates were never answered. By the end of that month, we told our contact that we would wait only until July 4 for some kind of resolution before demanding a refund.
On July 5, the desk was still not on the floor. We were then promised it would arrive July 16 so we could see it on the 17th. On the 18th, it had still not arrived.
We then went in person to the store in Laval to get our refund. There, we were told that we must go to the main office in Ste Genevieve, as they could not process refunds there. At the main office, we were then told that only the owner himself could approve the refund, but to please give them a few more days for the desk to arrive. If the desk was not to our liking, then we were assured we would have our money refunded.
Miraculously on July 25, there was a desk delivered to the Dorion store for us to consider. It was not quite what we wanted, the wood a bit darker than desired and hardware more modern than our taste. However, we were so defeated and so anxious for a resolution to this saga, that we said we would take it as a replacement, but at what price? Unbelievably, they were not able to give us the price that evening, and we would need to call back to find out.
Upon our return from a week-long vacation, we were told that this replacement would cost us an additional $449. As that was not acceptable, we requested our refund.
Now we are told that we cannot have a refund afterall, and we must instead accept a credit at the store. Unfortunately, as our 6-month at 0% financing is up, we are now left to pay off the balance of the desk we never received and take the case to small claims court. We will also be reporting Prillo to the consumer protection ministry.
Our main complaint is that they did not inform us of the delivery issues with the original desk when we purchased it and are now using this to force us into some unwanted $1000 purchase at their store. It seems ridiculous to me that they would jeopardize their reputation for the sake of such a relatively small sale. It is a great deal of money to us though, so we feel compelled to share our story as a cautionary tale.

It appears that this company is full of issues. I too am disappointed with the lack of client service, and shocked at how disinterested they are whenever I call for help with my order. So much so that I would rather lose the deposit I made than to continue doing any form of business with them. I hope people learn the truth, and avoid this place. No sense in trying to fight for service with them, when there are so many other furniture stores where they actually care about their clients.

Prillo broken furniture and thieves sellers

I bought a bedroom set at $3500 at Prillo furniture at St- Leonard. The seller asked me to give to him $40 to gave me a discount on the bedroom set. So I gave to him the $40 and he put the money in his pocket ( the $40 is not on the bill). Two days later I saw the same bedroom set at $3200 at another Prillo. When I finally received the bedroom it was broken and scratched. I called many times at the sales services but they wants to repaint the furniture broken!. Their after sales services it a big [censored]TTTT! I 'm still waiting as the store change the furniture. Their is a lot of complaints about this store. Never buy at Prillo furniture it's a SCAM.

PRILLO IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. As they rarely will give a refund to a buyer who is unsatisfied, their salespeople will say anything to make a sale. They have nothing to lose after all! They get their commission and you get (if you are lucky) a credit to a store with a business plan rife with unscrupulous practices!

I have the similar experience with Prillo Furniture. I bought 2 Sofa's and a Love Seat full leather from Prillo. With in few months the product lost its firmness and lot of wrinkle's appeared. I contacted Prillo store and the after sales service who send an inspector to look at the damage. The gentlemen visited agreed with us that it is not normal and promised to repair or replace the units. We did not see any action. Since then we have sent more than 7 emails and spoke to the office for over 10 times. No action so far.
I will appreciate if some one from Prillo reply to me at riazdurrani@hotmail.com.or give his/her telephone contact to resolve the issue. I am clearly upset with Prillo Furniture

Prillo lies

WORST SERVICE provided by prillo in st.leonard. i order couches 2 months ago and was promised delivery in 5 weeks max. its now the 8th week and they are no where near to be delivered to my house! service dept says one thing and salesman says something else. first fabric is out of stock which no one calls to inform me about. when I call them to see whats taking so long, they advise me of fabric being out of stock. salesman then suggests i change fabric to get my sofas in 2 weeks which he promises me to. i go ahead and change the fabric. two weeks later NO SOFAS, NO SCHEDULED DELIVERY EITHER. they keep lying and contracdicting eachother. these aren't cheap sofas to begin with so now i am stuck in this contract with really no other option but to pray the staff at prillo realizes how pathetic they are acting. once this nightmare is over i will NEVER step foot in a prillo store. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. the most unprofessional company i have ever dealt with. nothing but a headache.

From what I have heard, Prillo has a standing policy to not give refunds. As a result, their salespeople have no an incentive to sell you anything, by hook or crook! If you find later that you are dissatisfied, tough luck! The salesperson still gets their commission and you get stuck with at best a credit to a store with questionable business practices!

I have waited years for a simple refund ... I'm thinking of going to court if they don't refund me my 5000 broken defective couch from palliser ! This a very very bad company witch don't care about the client STAY AWAY ! a lot of cheap chiness stuff amongst the real stuff very confusing just like the staff they never ever call back just bring them to court they went a few times already look it up ...Petite creance here i come

My only experience with prillos' turned out to be a really time consuming ordeal. I had to send BACK delivery of a sofa set 3 TIMES due to them sending me a faulty sofa. Each time upon delivery I would receive the same faulty sofa; I believe they just wanted me to either not notice or just accept what they were giving me. I called the store and spoke to sales only to flick them off after a brief attempt by them to waste more of my time. I finally spoke to mr "prillo" and received a much expected full refund.

Prillo False advertising

They advertise a Bordeaux bedroom set with upper drawers on each of the furnitures for $999 on two flyers dated from October 08 to 22 2010. Today October 18 I walked in to their location in Laval, asked to see the model on the floor. The salesman pulled the flyer out of my hand very rudely and walked me to a bedroom set displayed in the front of the store similar to the add. I repeated and showed the picture in the flyer detailed drawers that open and wanted to see it. He continued by telling me that the manufacturer has replaced that model with a newer version, displayed without the opening drawers. And that Prillo no longer carries that "older" model advertised in their flyers. And he carelessly continued thowing his sales pitch for the model they did have. Untill I walked out of the store and straight to my computer. Prillo.com still contains the Bordeaux add in their flyers as well as their website. http://www.prillo.ca/en/bedroom/index.shtml

J ai acheter un set de salon pour 1600$ 2mois apres il était tout effilocher super briser tout déformer je suis allez voir un rembourser professionnel il m'a dit ces fou comment ces fait cheap cela vas me coûter 1000$ pour refaire avec un nouveau tissu et tout changer en dedans j ai acheter souvent chez Ashley ces tres beau et de grande galite

Me: Browsing around at the store for a living room and I see something that I like. Sales Man: We only have 2 available in stock, order now don't pay anything until 2 days before delivery just so we hold it for you. Then we go to the cash and the salesman goes you need to put a deposit. Me: Is this refundable, can I cancel my order and I point to the red on the purchase sheet. Salesman Yes this is only for floor models! You are not getting a floor model! I go alright I put 40 percent down only to find out that it is not refundable and you only get in store credit for the total amount and not just your down payment. A word of advise, these people are crooks and they lack professionalism. You better off at Ashleys or Leons where they have a system and client service. Stay away from Prillo as much as possible. And if you are in Ontario and looking for the same furniture you will find it at ARV Furniture.

I am extremely disappointed in the customer service at Prillo’s in Ste Genevieve. I purchased a custom bed in December 2014 (the Trina bed) I was told from the salesman that they could do whatever I wanted and that the bed would be delivered within 4wks. The bed was delivered on time but with the incorrect hardware, I didn't want accept the bed and figured I would just wait until the correct bed was ready instead I was told to let them do the install and that they would call me once the new headboard with the correct hardware was in, ok no problem. I got a phone call the first week of January from Prillo's to inform me that they would be sending a technician to replace the hardware since the manufacturer refused to replace the headboard with the correct hardware but sent Prillo's the hardware WTF. From the time I notified Prillo’s to the phone call I received this week I was never informed that the Manufacturer had refused to replace the headboard. On top of that Prillo’s made a bigger error by mistakenly giving me the manufacturer name. I contacted the manufacturer directly to find out if Prillo's was qualified to replace hardware on a piece of their furniture obviously not made by them, the manufacturer seem very concerned since they didn’t understand why they weren’t notified and they wouldn’t have any issue replacing the headboard with the correct hardware as long as it wasn’t custom, In my case I received the standard model. I have had numerous conversations with Prillo's seems that they don’t want to send back the headboard so it can properly be made. I paid almost $2000 for the bed I would have been better off going somewhere else where they actually value their customers. I am very concerned to have a Prillo’s technician replace hardware, I have no clue if their qualified to be doing this. I have been bounced around never once received an apology for the mistake. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I bought a sofa 2 weeks ago and the salesman told us they had it in stock and it could be delivered in the next 10 days. They call us 2 days before the delivery to tell us they ordered the wrong model and they're only going to receive the one we ordered it in a month!
We already got rid of the sofa we had and have a few events coming up. They said they cant do anything, no discount NOTHING. Very disappointed in this store, will definitely tell people not to buy there. Just hoping they will not postpone the date AGAIN.

We have been victim of a fraud at Prillo Pierrefonds. Someone bought 4000$ of furniture under my husband name, and ad a credit card with city financial. The credit card approuval was ask the employee of Prillo. The file under my husband name was never found when we went at the store...that's weird! And the employee was suppose to verified 2 IDs of the person and keep a copy in a file, which file as dissapered...

We have also had issues with prillos in pierrefonds. Issues with delivery, broken pieces taking close to a month now and not replaced. It's a shame, they have nice furniture, but have ###s trying to manage the business. Like many, once they have your money, its all over as far a customer service is concerned. Need to let people know the truth.

Prillo Bad service

I purchased 2 leather couches delivered early December for a cost of $3449. . Couches have several defects. Mr. Wes Prillo, son of Mr. Prillo, now responsible for customer service, promised me 2 other couches mid-December. To date, he ignores my calls and I still have the damaged couches in my residence. My salesperson, Mr. Rocco Caruso, no longer wants responsibility of this dossier, as he cannot understand why Mr. Prillo is acting this way.

I don’t know where to take this. Please help.
