Priceline.com Car Rental LAX Economy | Allied

Rental car saturday, march 20, 2021 - march 25, 2021.
Priceline trip number: [protected].
Name: doeve a j [protected]@outlook.Com
confirmation: pprla0f9ef5d
received an email 3/26/21 8:01 a.M. Stating we hope you enjoyed your cal in los angeles! wrong. The entire economy car rental | allied car rental experience was wretched. First, there were no instructions from priceline or the rental agency regarding arrival and two (2) shuttle transfers to get to the check-in couinter. First, find pink bus pickup location to take van to off airport car rental central depot. A cheap stop on century boulevard. Wait for the economic/allied car van. The telephone nuimber puts the customer through a fone dialogue tree such that if you don't pick the right choice, you have to dial a second time and try something else, all in the noisy vehicle pick up areas outside of lax. The phone is answered by hardly legible english speaking staff. Next on arrival after taking the g5 van and then the agency van, customer arrives as third world dirty storefront location for bizarre check-in. Like no one trusts you to have a license, insurance, rental agreement - third world as if every client is committing a robbery or felony by entering the door. Had to come up with insurance declaration for gods sake. An insurance declaration and a $400 deposit. Wait in the back of the agency frontage in a miserable parking lot garage entry area - all dirty and trashy and worn out as if we've landed in the 1950's. No intent here to make a vacation any more pleasurable than a visit to the garbage dump. Wait wait wait for the car. A well-used noisy 40, 000 mile nissan rickety at slow speeds. Numerous dents to be checked off with the rental dispatch guy. Obviously front-fender-bender ample evidence - enough dents and rust to require taking pictures so that a return would not result in finger pointing as to who did all the damage as the car was checked out. Return of vehicle not much more elegant, and certainly not "fast" waiting for the lax van. More time hanging around the trash site in front of the do not enter door and emergency evacuation door. A rotten way to front and back end a vacation. Why is priceline using this cheap provider? why? who approved deal-making with economy | alliled rental car?

Desired outcome: REMOVE THIS VENDOR FROM RENTAL OPTIONS.

Priceline.com car rental

I reserved a rental car to go and get a puppy in Virginia. I was told that I can't get my money back. I never heard of such a thing! I'm disabled and am going to die soon. My health kept me from proceeding with the trip. Please, if any of you have a heart, please return me my money. I' alone with no family. I need what little bit I get from the government to survive. It took place on 3/15/21. It was to be in Richmond, Virginia.

Priceline.com Allianz global flight insurance failure

I booked a reservation for my son's girlfriend (Brittany Gingras) in early December to come to Tampa area with my son for a few days on the 26th to 28th I believe and she received a message from Delta that her flight was being canceled due to the Nashville bombing crisis that occurred the morning of her flight to Atlanta and onto Tampa on the 26th. She was to join my son in Atlanta for her 2nd leg of the flight. So she had to rent a car and rebook a NEW leg to Tampa from Atlanta because the next flight would have been the next day. So she went to the airport and rented the car and drove to Atlanta where she was able to join him for what was originally her intended journey. Just before she arrived in her car to Atlanta, I called Spirit and explained the situation and your staff said the flight had not been cancelled or at least it was back on I am guessing? Too late for her because she had a 3 1/2 hr. drive to continue with her plan to get to him and us as planned. I submitted ALL the support information for the cost of the one way car rental and the fee from Spirit for rescheduling to Allianz Global requesting the refund for those two items and we got nothing but the runaround for 3 months. They NEVER explained why our claim was set aside or canceled. Shame on Spirit for partnering with such a poor company that does not pay on the insurance after claims have been justified. It is hard to find people and companies that have the integrity to 1) do their jobs and FAIRLY evaluate claims, 2) Explain why a claim is denied, and 3) have common curtesy to YOUR customers. I and my family will NEVER ever fly with your company again due to the very unprofessional methods of both you and your fake insurance partners. if you truly care to investigate and talk to Allianz about our case and have the common curtesy to call me and at least explain why the data we submitted was inadequate or WHY it was ruled unapproved, then please call me on [protected].

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for the Car Rental and the rebooking fee as you would expect any insurance policy to cover.

Priceline.com Airline

I was booking a reservation on Orbitz. When I chose the flights and went to pay it asked for all of our info again which is already on file with Orbitz. When I paid it was a bait and switch with Priceline. I had to call American and get our TSA info entered. I then picked my seats. That was a month ago. Trip is this week so I am confirming things. All of my seats are erased.

Desired outcome: I want my seats I chose

Priceline.com Hotel Reservations

I used Priceline last week to make a reservation. I was baited and switched with no way out. On 3/12 I entered the date I wanted a reservation at a hotel I already was sure I liked, but I was offered a comparable stay if I took your choice among three hotels nearby for a much lesser price. So, I took a chance. Only when all was said and done the reservation was made on 3/14. Not 3/12.

I called Priceline and was told I had to contact the hotel. I called the hotel and was told to talk to Priceline. Bottom line, you got my money and I wasn't even in that town anymore.

I hate the foul play. I hate the lack of a possibility to resolve the fould play. I will never forget your taking my money. I feel I was robbed without so much as the satisfaction of seeing the robber's face.

I will actively spread my dislike for you and the facts of the case the rest of my life.

Desired outcome: Give me back my money

Priceline.com didn't help to prove that hotel agreed to refund reservation

I made a reservation in Ruthland, VT . when we arrived and checked in we saw the room, it was smelly and filthy and we were very unhappy so we asked if we can cancel the reservation and leave without being charged later.

I called Priceline, we had Hotel manager (or whoever was on the shift that night) on the line as well. Hotel representative said it will be ok to move out without being charged.
So we did, but next day we were charged full amount and since then I was in dispute with Priceline and hotel and only proof I had was phone call b/c Priceline didn't have any notes in the transcript stating that hotel said it is "OK to check out and we will not be charged" .

I needed that proof but Priceline refuse to share call record or transcript with me with me.

I hate them for that. What is point to have VIP membership with them? All [censored].

Will never do business with them.

Desired outcome: Refund of my reservation

Priceline.com Booking

on 01/30/21 i tried to book a trip to Las Vegas Nv. I tried to used a flight credit of $587 that I have from my trip to Mexico that was canceled due to Covid19 on 04/09/20. the lady told me I had to pay $175 extra per ticket which was kind of ridiculous to pay $460 per ticket to go to Las Vegas. finally she found a "cheaper" flight that i had to pay only $56 extra per ticket. so I agreed since we already had the hotel booked and when she processed the payment for $109 the system didn't allow to take the payment because she took so long to enter the information and when she tried to book it again the prices for the ticket when up again. So i wasn't able to book a flight with them and they still charged me the $109.
when I called back tried to talk to a manager or supervisor whoever answer hag up the phone on me. we had to buy the ticket with another airline which was way less than were they asked for.
I took almost a week to get the money back.
Now I'm tried to used my credit for another trip and they said I have to booked it before March 06..(next week) which is impossible for us to go.
I tried to talk to a manager or supervisor and they put me on hold for like and hour every time i tried to talk to somebody.

Desired outcome: I need help to be able to use my credit.

Priceline.com Rental car never received

After several calls, a nasty representative named steve id# 5260548 told me accounting can't help you. There is nothing we can do. It's our policy. There are no managers. Prepaid charges are kept whether you take the car or not. He was rude and said it was my fault for not reading...

Full story
I booked a reservation with priceline for a rental car. I prepaid for the car in advance to save time and lock in a price... When I got to the rental company fox I waited 4 hrs to get service, due to the price I waited. When I finally go to the counter they requested to place $600 hold on my card which I didn't have. I left, called my bank to have the prepaid charge refunded and thought nothing of it. 3 months later I saw the charge back on my card.

Desired outcome: I WANT MY REFUND

Priceline.com unused car rental days

I had to rent a car upon returning from our brief vacation in Florida because my car key fob was stolen out of my Priceline hotel room (in only a day and a half). I was told by the car rental company (National) that if I didn't need the car for the entire week that I would be reimbursed for the unused days. I returned it 2 days early as I was able to get a replacement key fob made for my car. HOWEVER, Priceline says, 'Sorry' no refunds for unused days in spite of what the individual at the counter says. I will no longer be using this cheap company for ANY future travel arrangements and I will be paying off my new Priceline credit card and cancelling it.

Desired outcome: money back for 2 unused rental car days

Priceline.com Charged for service we never used

We used priceline app for last 4 years but their rates/service/refund policy & standard has gone way down. Priceline has horrible refund policy. DO NOT EVER USE IT. We had to pay $ 101.42 for a cancelled booking bcoz we searched 2 rooms in a hotel in childress, Texas (through priceline app) & they booked us 2 rooms in a hotel in Elk city, Oklahoma and as soon as we booked we got email confirmation that hotel is booked in Elk city, Oklahoma which is another city & state about 106 miles from Childress, Texas,. We called customer service right away (22nd Dec, 2020) & they refused to refund and blamed us for the mistake, connected with a supervisor but same answer from supervisor. We were on the road & booked another hotel from hotel.com app & got much cheaper & better rates with exceptional service. Through priceline we lost $ 101.42 for the service we never got. Basically, priceline app is misrepresenting bcoz they show hotels from other city/state even when u search hotel for specific city & state. Try it & you will find it yourself. (I have attached the screen shots as proof. Check in every screen shot it shows on top, childress, Texas, in the last & final screen number 4 it does not show on top childress, TX but since u saw in previous 3 screens & hit book button, money is gone & even it was an accident, they will never consider for a refund.)
priceline has zero customer service & rude customer service reps. We learnt after loosing $ 101.42 the lesson that DO NOT TRUST PRICELINE.

Desired outcome: Refund my amount $101

Priceline.com Refund on flight cancellation, that they didn’t inform me of

Travel.com never informed me my flight was cancelled. If I didn't book the same flight for my son directly with airline I would have been stuck in California and wouldn't have know it was canceled until I tried to check in 24 hours before flight.. Not to mention they refused to give me back the taxes and fees for the flight. Plus $20 difference airline refunded x 2 tickets. $80 of my money they kept because airline canceled my flight! Thanks Priceline/travel.com

I had a flight which got cancelled 4 days back due to Mechanical Failure. So the next step should be easy, I thought, either to Refund or Rebook to the next available date.

But No... its been 5 days, my bags are still in packed condition waiting to catch the next flight, But Priceline just keeps me waiting ... stating they need approval from the Airlines. I called Airlines, they didnt have the problem. Priceline is impossible!

Priceline.com Rental Car

Priceline is not COVID friendly for rental cars. We are unable to travel and comply with a 2 week quarantine that CA Dept of Health suggests. We tried to cancel or at least reschedule when conditions are better but we have lost our week long car rental fees. We gave Priceline a 2 week notice. Still no resolution. Beware. Don't make the same mistake we did.

I understand the typical policy but these are unusual times. We'd at least like a credit to use at a later time. Why is that not possible given the pandemic?

Priceline.com Rental car scam

Upon rental of a car through Priceline, I received my itinerary with a specific pickup time. When I showed up to get the vehicle and waiting about 45 minutes and observed the counter clerk help exactly 1? person during that time. The clerk was the only employee work both Budget and Avis counters. There were several people in line and it was over heard that it would be at least another hour to Waite and they did not have any cars other the the most basic bottom of the line economy models. The person in front of me said this was a common bait n switch issue used all the time at this location.
So, basically two hours later and no car and they will not offer a refund. When talking to budget and priceline they both basically told me to pound sand and that they don't provide refunds EVER... basically told me there was nothing I could do and they don't have to provide me the car when they said they would or even provide a certain class of car when you paid for a higher level one. Who does business like this... total BS and they know it and don't care... and bid their obvious SOP.
If one is not already in the works, I am going to look into filing a class action suit against them and their affiliates. Until then Don't Trust anything to do with Priceline... nothing but crooks!

On a side note, they also could not tell me if the toaster sized car they were trying to give me instead of the size class car I paid for had even been cleaned or disinfected... but was told I could do it if I didn't like her answer.

Does any of this sound like a company anybody would want to business with EVER let alone repeatedly business. Unfortunately by reading all of the similar complaints, apparently Priceline just doesn't care and makes there money by screwing people over everyday as a common business practice.
Please share your bad experiences with anybody and everybody who will listen until these crooks are driven out of business or are legally forced to stop ripping people off as a common fraudulent business practice.

Priceline.com Refund not received

Ticket was booked via my Priceline account on 02/07/2020.
Booking number: [protected]
Price: $898.40

Due to COVID travel to Bangkok was restricted and a refund was requested. I received a refund of $6.69 for the Priceline processing fee on 04/10/2020. I'm still waiting for the remainder of the refund $892.15.

I have made numerous calls and received one email from Priceline on 04/08/2020, that stated your refund has been processed.

Every Priceline manager I have spoke to states the same message, your refund has been approved however the money is never transferred to my account. It's now been 7 months trying to get my refund.

Priceline.com Flight with american airlines

On 9/28/2020 I made a reservation to fly from DBQ to LRD on 11/04/2020. I was up at 3:30 am to get ready and be at the airport for a 6:30 flight. Flight #3303. I was dropped off at the airport at 5:30 am. As I entered the terminal I noticed no one was there. Called airport and was told that terminal had been closed since 10/06/2020. I was never notified of this. I even received email on 11/02/2020 reminding me of my flight. I had to rent a car, drive to Cedar Rapids, Ia. get a room and fly out of there on 11/05/2020. When I arrived in Dallas I went to my departing gate and was told the flight had already left. They said I would have to wait and fly out at 8:20 pm on standby. I have a home in Zapata, Tx that I am trying to sell. I had prospective buyers waiting on me to see the home. I felt there was a chance I would not have a seat on that late flight so I rented a car and drove from Dallas to Laredo. After all of this mess I am out for 2 rental cars, hotel room, gas & food for $600+. The buyers had to leave to go home after waiting for 2 days. I am 80 yrs, on soc sec and do not have extra money for these expenses. Also, I am sure my airfare was less leaving from Cedar Rapids than departing from DBQ. I would like a refund of my expenses. This whole mess has worn on me. I didn't need the stress or expenses if I had been notified ahead of time that American Airlines was not flying from Dubuque anymore. Thank you, Virginia Scott. Conformation #WYQLZE I will have to fax all receipts to you.

What should have been a smooth flight and arriving in Laredo at noon on 11/04/2020. turned into a mess, an expensive one to say the least. I should have been notified of the change at Dubuque Airport. I could have made other arrangements for my home being shown, been there to do it myself and saved a lot of money. money that I had to borrow. I don't know I am the maddest at, Priceline or American Airlines. Please help me resolve this .

Priceline.com Poor service and no communications about changed flights

On November 25, 2020, I was to fly out of Dubai with Air Canada back to my home destination in the USA. I booked this roundtrip fair through Priceline on September 25, 2020 with confirmation code and everything.

When I got to the airport, they said Air Canada was not in service with them for 6 months now and that my particular flight was canceled on October 7, 2020. However, I NEVER received a notification about my flight being canceled or not in service. I have checked my inbox and junk several times and there is NO email from Priceline.

I had to contact the airline to go round and round to find a suitable flight that would take me home in a decent time. After 2 hours on the phone, the airline was able to find something. I tried to call through to Priceline and complain however it's just busy signal. However, my complaint is that Priceline has such poor service with is wrong for not communicating timely with me about my flight. And if this airline was not in service in a place anymore then why the heck you have it available for purchase?! This was a headache going to the airport, which is already a headache, and then finding out to my surprise there is no flight or record of it. I am strongly upset and will never use Priceline again.

Please IMPROVE your service and communication about important information like this.

Common business practice by Priceline I am finding out myself too. This company and it s practices need to be legally stoped. I am looking into any current class action suits to join and would recommend the same.

Good luck and sorry for your troubles.
