Priceline.com website

I tried to log on to my account on Priceline.com today to check some car rental prices. The sign-box wouldn't allow me to complete the process for the first several tries and then said that wasn't my account and my zip code was wrong. I've recorded my information and I KNOW my zip code, but I tried to change my password and it wouldn't let me re-enter the password I wanted to use because it couldn't be one of the last five passwords. How frustrating. I think I am just sick of Priceline and will find another way to book flights, hotels, and rental cars. I used to feel like we found good deals and it was worth the time, but the last hotel we booked was HORRIBLE! I called to make a complaint but never heard back. I used to be able to use the "Name your own price" feature, but that only works on hotels now not car rentals?! Priceline of the past was great but the current version is terrible and I will advise everyone to use TripAdvisor or Kayak or some other service.

Priceline.com flight and hotel, cancelled you need to refund me

I recently paid for my Flight from Denver to LAX for 6/19/19 - 6/23/19
Included in that was my car rental and my hotel
My flight was with Spirit Airlines Flight #719 departing DIA AT 6:56pm on 6/19/19
to arrive in Las Vegas for 1 hour layover however the flight was delayed by 1 hour.
This caused so much turmoil. Once I arrived at Las Vegas airport, I was told that Spirit has no more flights going out and cancelled my flight to LAX. Nothing until the following day until 1:30 PM. That was not OK, I had to be a t a Graduation in LA at 3:00 pm
I was forced to purchase a ticket with another airline *Southwest* for $185 to make it to LAX. the next morning. I also had called the Car Rental and Hotel on the evening of 6/19/19 that my flight was cancelled and I was stuck in Vegas until the next day .
I was assured by both the Advantage Car rental and Ramada Inn that my reservation was secure since it was paid in advance and I had called within that 24 hours.
But on 6/20/19 when I went to the Ramada to check in, I was told they had cancelled my entire reservation as a NO SHOW
I then was forced to go to another hotel *the Days Inn* in Torrance and rent a room for $97.01

I paid in advance for all my Flight, Car Rental and Room and I was not treated properly and forced to pay more money.
Ramada Inn refused to refund my money, Spirit caused all this problem and my Car rental I paid for 4 days @ $33 per day plus $11 per day for the insurance.

I have attached my Credit Card statements, Bank Statement and all my Itinerary
I want to be refunded $871.09 for all this inconvenience in addition to some kind of compensation or free travel for all the trouble this caused and I want this done immediately !

Priceline.com airline reservations

In Oct 2018, I booked 3 different reservations for my family of 7 to travel from Tucson, AZ to Grand Cayman in June. (Nichols, C GEMODG, Conner, M GIAZWK and Garmon, R IDSLLX) We booked through Priceline with American Airlines which included assigned seats and 1 free checked baggage. 53 days prior to the trip, we received notice that the itinerary had been changed. They gave us reservations from Tucson to DFW, then from Miami to Cayman, then from DFW to Miami. I spent not less than 4 hours on the phone with Priceline to get the travel plans corrected. (Lots of time on hold, being transfered to 5 different people and having to repeat and repeat the same information over and over again) . We finally agreed upon a new itinerary which required an overnight stay in DFW. We were given seat assignments at that time. Then 3 days before the trip, my brother said he had checked the AA website, and we did not have assigned seats for one leg of the trip. Since there was no seats available at no charge, we were required to pay to sit in an "upgraded" seat costing us each an additional $30/seat. In another lengthy conversion with Priceline, I was informed that it was up to AA to confirm seat assignments. We were never informed that we needed to check back w/ AA for confirmation.
Then when we arrived at the airport, we were informed that we would have to pay for baggage (we know that is not unusual, but the Priceline information, said "first bag free").
I feel this was definately a "bait and switch" operation, stating that the it was one price and then "oh by the way, to get what you paid for, we need more money."
If they would have communicated with us prior that we needed to check with AA to confirm, that would have been helpful. They have the ability to send out emails with updates as we received no less than 2-4 emails with arrival, gate assignements, and departures.
At the least, we would like our "upgraded seats" charges returned to us.

Priceline.com airline tickets

I booked with Priceline and cancelled the reservation within the 24 hour deadline but they have not refunded me. It has been nearly 2 months now. Although they did refund the American Airlines tickets associated with same trip. Come to find out they only cancelled half my trip and not the airline tickets with United Airlines. Have spent about 20 hours on the phone with numerous Agents and they all give different answers. Some even lied and said my refund has been issued and is on it's way to my account

Priceline.com hotel

I had two hotels booked through you while trying to get to the first one our motorcycle broke down in the desert. After spending five hours in 100 degree weather we got into a nearby town. I called to cancel the reservations and was told I was SOL. I was not even offered a credit for a future trip. I can show proof my motorcycle broke down. All my friends use your company and have had no problems. I hope I can tell them all was taken care of. Vida Sens

Priceline.com hotel stay

I booked a room at Super 8 in Beckley WV on June 7th. The room was so filthy, poorly maintained and absolutely disgusting. The door looked like it had bullet holes, the comforter, curtains, carpet and chair were all filthy and stained. Bathroom sink didnt drain. It was the most disgusting room I've ever seen. Had I not been traveling 17 hours and desperate I would have left. The clerk didnt even ask for my drivers license or ID to check me in.

I refused to sleep under the covers and stretched out my dirty clothes to sleep on top. I cried until I fell asleep. I refused to shower or even take my clothes off and as soon as I woke up we left. Biggest waste of money ever.
I am extremely disappointed in Pricelines standards. You need to remove this motel. I want my money back. Should you choose not to refund my money then you will have lost a customer for life and I will continue to share my horror story with everyone I know being sure to include the customer service I receive from Priceline. I look forward to your response.

Priceline.com this # appears on my cc statement [protected]

It immediately plays music. I called the hotel and the hotel stated that it was Priceline and that they were to be called cancel the reservation. I called 877-477-5807 and was told I could not cancel and had to call 1877-477-7441. Then they kept telling me to find Travel Marvel online. This is a joke and horrible way to scam people. I have never used Priceline and will never use again. I have 3 months to cancel this tranaction and the recording states there is $0 fee and then asks for a zip code and when entered it states the zip code is incorrect. First it is an obvious scam to delay in returning the charges.

Priceline.com priceline cruises

Priceline customer service supervisor Donna was extremely rude and condescending. She didn't help my issue and should not talk down to customers. I wanted to try to have her at least request anytime dining due to being pregnant. Not only did she not do this, but she lied on the phone and raised her voice at me. It is completely unacceptable. Managers should not treat people like this.

Priceline.com hotel reservation

We made a hotel reservation quite some time ago at a casino hotel for 2 nights. We did stay one night but had a family obligation (viewing at funeral home and funeral) that we could not miss so we could not stay 2nd night. We called priceline and was told no refunds or credits. We called hotel, was told only priceline could deal with this. In other words, if you ever have a situation where you need to change your plans, please don't book through priceline.

Days Inn NYC May 14-16.
A hotel stay from hell.
Room off in an old part of building, could hardly find it.
Toilet didn't work. Door didn't shut properly, lock didn't work most of the time.
Wi-fi on the entire floor didn't work, causing me many trips to lobby in middle of night, no sleep.
Hotel desk lied when said manager was not there.
Guests next room smoked up a smelly storm and were rowdy.
For $200 per night this was outrageous experience.
I spoke to manager when finally found her, she said she is not responsible for the smoke or the wi-fi ("wi-fi is just a courtesy we don't have to provide")
She offered me small discount she said she is processing through Priceline.
That is not sufficient. Worst Priceline (or any hotel) experience I have ever had.
Please make it up to me. I moved to another hotel with PL in NY today, and it is good place (Martinique on 32nd Street).

Priceline.com pitiful customer service and a scam.

I have been on the phone with Priceline for about an hour and a half disputing their false advertisement on a hotel I booked. Their website claimed "Free Cancellation Available- No Risk- Book now and cancel for free if plans change." That was a complete and utter lie because when plans did change, they claimed I should have read the fine print that said no refunds or cancellations with this booking. This company is trying to scam customers and do NOTHING at all to satisfy them. I spoke to 3 customer service representatives and the last claimed to be the supervisor even though she couldn't do anything to help me. She then told me there was no one above her and that my next step would be to write a letter. She then explained that letter would be processed right back to HER! I've never been more disappointed with a company, I have no idea how they are still in business.

Priceline.com holiday inn

We booked a room that was represented as a 2.5 star hotel. When we arrived, the room we were assigned had air conditioning that did not work. We called the front desk, and they made no offer to move us. In return, I got very little sleep because the room was so hot. With no circulation it was miserable. We also planned to use the indoor pool. Only after checking in, we find out it was being worked on and was closed. We were not told this before we arrived. We were told the general manager was going to call us, but we heard nothing back from Holiday Inn. We made our reservation through Priceline, and let Priceline pick the accommodations for us at a discounted price. I feel Priceline offers this because you are able to help fill these hotels that are being renovated or problems like ours that are not disclosed prior to check in. All I can say is you better do your own homework on your hotel or it can be a nightmare like ours. With the construction going on, renovations, closed pool, and no air conditioning, poor mattress, and very limited television programming I would give the hotel 1 star as opposed to the overly generous 2.5.

Priceline.com misrepresenting hotel room available

My daughter hs a birthday coming up, her father passed away 2 weeks ago, so i wanted to do something to get her mind off it, her dad and i used to go to the white house inn so I thought i would have her birthday there. on your website you showed me many room availble, I booked a room with 2 queen beds, it was supossed to be a double room with lots of room to have the party. I called the hotel to ask questions about the pool, that was when i was told that my room was on the 3rd floor with valuted celings, she said the room i booked wasnt availbe so i was "pushed" into a smaller room by your website. I called customer service and they were no help. I feel you misrepresebnted the rooms that were open, even now when i go to your site it shows the biggers rooms are opne when there are not! Very displeased, I feel i have been misleaded and shown a big room just to get a small one!

Priceline.com rental car

Priceline allowed me to reserve a rental car at DFW for 11pm and the rental car company closed at 11pm! I couldn't get the car and still charged my credit card! I try calling Priceline 877 number but no live agents to help. I tried to dispute with my credit card and they can refund because Priceline told them I was a NO SHOW. Not true the reservation said 11pm and the Alamo rental car is closed at 11pm. How is this my fault? I was there!

Priceline.com hotel reservation

Please help me for my reservation at DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on May 3rd, 2019, with Confirmation number- [protected]

The hotel I was looking for was DoubleTree by Hilton, Norwalk, CA. While searching by the hotel name, I found a good price for this hotel on your website and booked it. When I confirmed my booking I was not shown the hotel address anywhere on the screen and also did not realize that the hotel with the same name and same city name can be present in 2 different states.
As soon as I confirmed my booking, I got a hotel address and I realized that I have made a booking in same hotel but in wrong state. Instead of California, I booked in Norwalk, Connecticut.

After this, I immediately called Priceline, explained them about this situation and asked for their help with the cancellation.But they said that they need hotel manager's approval to cancel this booking, as booking was non refundable. This happened on the evening of May 2nd (Thursday) and they promised to return back to me on May 3rd (Friday).So, I said ok, I will wait. I also requested them to talk with the manager before my reservation date starts, so the manager can cancel it easily and hotel room becomes available.

Then on Friday morning, I got a call from Priceline that hotel manager is still not available and they will resolve this issue by the end of the day. So, I waited again till Friday evening, but did not get contacted by Priceline. This thing continued till today. As I had not received any response from Priceline for last 4 days, I again called the customer support center today morning and the representative told me the same thing that they have not got a chance to talk with hotel manager yet. He asked me to put my call on hold and talked with hotel manager. After that, he said to me that hotel manager is not approving this and mentioned they cannot make an exception. So I asked Priceline to help me with the refund, but the agent said they cannot do anything with this.

I do understand that this reservation was non-refundable, but can't you allow any genuine mistake?
I have been a loyal Priceline customer for many years and has always experienced the best service and was hoping to receive the same this time around.
I sincerely request you to review this issue one more time and refund my reservation amount.
I really appreciate any help you provide.

Spent two hours on the phone with Pricelione customer service. Complete waste of time. Never will I book with them again. Booked a room with Priceline over the phone. Told the agent I need a room with two beds. He said that is the only kind of room that is available. Expressed my need for a room with two beds again. He said that is the only kind of room available. I check intothe hotel and they have me in a King room. Priceline won't help. They said they will have someone look into it but not tonight.
Worthless waste of time. I'm done with Priceline.

Priceline.com rental car

Booked a rental car through Priceline for an Enterprise car, confirmation number 2031404263COUNT, to be picked up at 6:00 PM on May 2, 2019. Showed up at 6:00 PM and office was closed as its after their hours. You would think that Priceline would have an algorythm that would know this. I needed to leave ASAP on my trip. Called Priceline and only asked that they honor that same price for the same kind of car at the one Enterprise location or any rental car company that was still open (and there were many) and was told not a chance. I could pay an extra $75 for the same thing at another location or wait until the next day and come back during normal business hours but since I had not picked it up that day (I tried and they were closed) that they coudn't guarantee my car would be there. Went round and round with their supervisor, Vincent 5260345, about how this was their mistake, not mine and how I had held up every part of my end of our contractual agreement but they had made a mistake. I thought my request for the same type of car for the same length of time at the same price was very reasonable. They made it very clear to me that they couldn't care less about me as a customer and told me to call Enterprise. I called Enterprise only to be told that Priceline is their own entity and any contract with them is solely their responsibility and don't bother us about it. Both of these companies have mastered passing the buck, but their management is an embarrassment. This is customer service 101 and Priceline failed.

Priceline.com hotel

Just spent a miserable two hrs on the phone with useless Priceline customer service. I will never book with them again. Beware their special express deals. The hotel is got was cheaper on 8 websites. I eventually got 47 dollar refund for the price difference but spent an entire evening on the phone and they would not accept any changespecial. Very unpleasant experience I will never use Priceline again.

Priceline.com rental/customer service

First, they couldnt import an Itinerary into my profile. Drove to World HQ. Spoke with MR. Wile, Head Of Customer Service. He had someone call me who told me, They cant fix it. Go Figure. Then they booked me for a car that wasnt available. So the rental agency sent me somewhere else. Told me the Price would be the same. It wasnt. It was over $1000! Called Priceline. Told them my problem. They told me to fill out some forms and wait 10 days. While my account is overdrawn thanks to them. Will be driving back to World HQ on Monday! Not gonna be happy about it. Ridiculous! Ruined the Last Vacation Of My Life! As I have a terminal Heart Condition. They didnt care.

Priceline.com vacation package problem

Booked a vacation package with Priceline which included airfare and hotel in New Orleans. I did not select the airline and hotel. It was a package deal that I purchased. My flight was cancelled due to staffing problems with the airline. The airline was terrible at providing the passengers with details of the flight. Next thing I know was that I was standing on a 2 hour long line to get an alternate flight. The airline could not get me another flight that same day nor at the same airport. I called Priceline while standing on this line to see what they could do for me. They said that they could do nothing and that I would have a better chance at getting to my destination by having the airline help me. So, no help from Priceline what so ever on honoring their vacation package that I purchased. I get a flight the next day out of a different airport that is 2 hours away from my home. So now I am short a day on my vacation. The airline gives me a flight return a day later so that I can have a three day vacation. Now all I need is for Priceline to contact the hotel that was in my package and explain that I will be arriving a day later and could the please extend my stay a day later. Priceline tells me that they can not do that and that I should just book another package with them and cancel the one I have. I tell Priceline not to cancel my hotel reservation. I figured I have at least 2 days stay at this hotel and if I have to, I will find another hotel for my last day. This was Easter week and all the hotels in New Orleans were booked. I call the hotel directly to see if I can pay for the extended day myself after explaining what had happened to me with Priceline. The hotel tells me that Priceline cancelled my reservation and that they already refunded them the money. So the only thing that I asked Priceline not to do is the only thing that they did. Now I have a flight and nowhere to stay. I did find another place to stay; no thanks to Priceline. So, all I can say is that Priceline will book you a vacation package, but don't expect them to help if anything goes wrong. This vacation cost my wife and myself an extra days vacation time, parking at two different airports, four hours of driving time back and forth to this different airport and our flight home had a layover in Orlando; whereas I had originally had a direct flight to and from Now Orleans.
