this is a scam website. do not enter credit card info.
This is a scam website, plain and simple. They do not actually sell or ship real products. Complain to Google for listing this site among REAL websites, there is clearly no vetting process and Google does not care if you get scammed! They collect your credit card number, then say it's declined, even when there is nothing wrong with your card. They save that data for later and use your card however they like. DO NOT SHOP AT PRICECHOPPING!
online shopping experience
pricechopping declined 2 different credit card payments on an item they advertised at a much lower price than big name retailers. very worried that this is a scam to get yoyr credit card information. this option just popped up with the same product i was looking for at other sites offering a much lower price. (on a Corner fireplace tv Stand.
entered 2 different credit card numbers and both declined when not possible. no website or a way to tell who or where they are.
scam business
On 11/6/18 I attempted to make a purchase. Each time I attempted to put in my credit card number it would come up declined. The credit card company said that there is no problem with the credit card, however, after four attempts I was unable to make the purchase. When I looked up this company on the internet it showed that pricechopping.com is a scam company looking for credit card numbers.
Is PriceChopping.com legit?
PriceChopping.com earns 11% level of Trustworthiness
Serious Risk Warning: Complaints Board's evaluation of PriceChopping.com shows a critical trust level at 11%. Avoid for personal and financial safety.
With only 0% of 0 complaints being resolved, PriceChopping.com slow complaint resolution rate suggests poor service, lack of responsiveness, or a lack of helpfulness, causing frustration to users. It is obvious that the company has the lowest level of trust.
You should not trust a website that appears to be parked, especially if you have already paid money to the website. A parked website may be a sign that the website owner is no longer actively maintaining or developing the site, and there is a risk that the site could be a scam.
Exercise caution when using pricechopping.com as it may have lower quality content or a poor user experience, leading to fewer visitors and lower traffic.
PriceChopping.com protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- Pricechopping.com has a valid SSL certificate, while Scammers can obtain a valid SSL certificate by using fake information or by using a stolen or hijacked domain. In some cases, they may even use a certificate issued to another legitimate website.
- Pricechopping.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with PriceChopping.com, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.
fraud.. stay away and don't risk your cc info
Same like other users/ reviews and comments. It shows that your credit card declined when trying to complete any purchase. They do list items for cheaper price but just to get your credit card info and won't complete the purchase process.
Other users got unauthorized transactions on their credit card afterwards.
They never respond to their contact form and of course there is no phone number to call.
Total scam
Exactly like the other reviewer said, they advertise for an item and they don't allow you to complete the purchase.
False advertisement and fraud
decline of my card - a way to get credit card info?
They declined my card with a perfectly adequate amount of credit available. They were advertising an item for quite a bit less than anyone else - just enough of a temptation to entice me to buy from them even though I had read about some red flags. My bad - Seems like a good way for them to gather credit card info. I may have my number changed as they could wait a while and then use the number when my guard is down, they have not put the charge through as of one day later. Another website which I stupidly ignored said that they are structured online in such a way that you could not determine where they are physically located. It said that it MAY be in Canada but they couldn't tell and this could be because they do not want spam but that many fraudsters use this as a way to stay undetected. The biggest red flag I ignored is that their website, though it has apparently hundreds or thousands of items, does not have a home page. Its home page is simply an item that is for sale (an office chair).
Same as everyone else. Found them by shopping at google, looked at their site, found what I was looking for, price was very competitive, then it would no accept my card. November 17, 2018
same issue. I've reported them to Shopify to see if they bring them down.
Anyone had any updates?
I had the same story about the card. Got declined. It said the testing mode was used but not a test card.
Did anyone get charged? Do we need to block the cards?
Pricechopping.com is a scam. They declined my purchase stating "in test mode but using a non test card"
It’s a scam! Tried to buy a table a few months back from this price chopping.com website and got worried after my credit card kept getting declined so I called Bank of America to see why it kept got declined twice and they said they didn’t see any “suspicious activity” on my card...fast forward to yesterday...I got calls/emails/texts from Bank of America to approve all these “foreign transaction fees” and out of country purchases that were trying to be made. I immediately cancelled that card and ordered a new one. I can only assume after reading all the other reviews that they took my credit card info and waited a few months to try my card once I had essentially “forgotten about them” and rest assured I’m almost positive it was from this website that they got ahold of my credit card info!
I also paid the extra $85 and ended up ordering my table from Walmart.com lesson learned that sometimes just becuase it might be cheaper somewhere else doesn’t make it a smarter buy. Hope this helps anyone in the near future who might be tempted like me to buy something from This website.
I checked BBB and they have no record of this site. Along with the other comments, definitely threw up a red flag for me.
Here is the true contact info after pinging the IP address. Its a Godaddy website through AZ not Canada.

I read the reviews before placing my order so I used a virtual account number. I was declined because of "test mode". I immediately closed the virtual number.
This site is a scam.
I was refussed over and over for several days even though the bank said the cards were never ran. Ate they going to rip me off later? The price on the King platform bed 18 in high for storage underneath seemed good. But still have not been able to complete the order.
**********************EVERYONE IN THIS LINK WHO HAS ALREADY PUT IN CARD INFORMATION*********************
If you are able to turn off your card through a mobile app or bank phone call, do so NOW! Call your bank ASAP and tell them what happened and request a new card.
Also, to get this website shut off the internet so they can't scam anymore people go to the following website and report them as a scam :
https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds
Once you are on the website, go down to the last list on the page labeled : "Report Scams And Frauds"
Find "International Scams" on the list and click the highlighted website econsumer.gov.
After you've reached the website, click the first box labeled "Online Shopping/Ecommerce Service/Computer Equipment"
From there you will be directed to a different page, just click "online shopping" and go from there.
Scams like these piss me off because they seem so harmless, but I'm tired of having to look through reviews to be able to shop on a certain website. Please report PriceChopping.com to get them deleted off of media and, hopefully, thrown in jail for probably scamming many people.
Also, I meant to put at the bottom of this ^
If you go to the website to report them, when it ask the person's name or their title, just put the website name.
Thank you. I have cancelled both of my cards. I have reported them to the government address that you have listed.
offer items for sale online, won't sell
I tried to buy their advertised Whalon Santa Fe Kitchen Cart at $125., $35-100 less than other sites like Wayfair, SEVERAL times night before last. All my payment methods were declined. I spoke with bank and was told 1. I had sufficient funds, 2. Pricechopping.com never attempted a charge. I was told this was fraud. I tried the purchase again. Still didnt work...why? They say my address and zip code dont match...well the city and US Mail dont agree. I can't figure out what they are doing if NOT selling listed items. I fear they are collecting 'customers' financial info. They have no phone number, no city or zip code identified, but one site states they are operating out of SE Canada.
Pricechopping.com offers this cart for $125 and under. Great price! I spent entire evening trying to purchase. They continually said my payment was declined. Find both cards have sufficient funds, pricechopping.com never even tried to charge. My banker says its fraud, try the order again. Nope, still don't agree to take my payment and send advertised product because my zip code doesn't match my address. Which it sure as heck does. Scam, fraud. Avoid. They need to be shut down!
