My 86-year-old father is sight-impaired, has no need for a new vacuum yet he has had two house-calls. I knew he had a visitor but didn't know what the visit was about. When my father said "No", the salesperson told my father she needed to call her office and, lo and behold, the manager wanted to talk to him. By that time my father was suspicious but it still took him another 15 minutes to get her out of the house.

These people are keeping my email inbox full of junk emails in which
I have zero interest. No matter how many times I hit "unsubscribe" they
continue to email me.

I agree with Sault Steve. Received a phone call stating I won something but needed to listen to a presentation. When this young man showed up he had 2 suitcases. Asked me where he could set up. I asked what the presentation was about but just got a round about answer. He proceeded to get his things out and at that point I saw it was vacuum cleaners. I told him I was not interested and he better leave. Was very persitent and asked to let him do the presentation. Again I told him I was not interested but he just proceeded to unpack. At this point I let him "demonstrate" the vacuum. When he was finished he got his papers out and asked me to supply my info. Again I told him I was not interested. Got the same thing...had to call his boss...then was asked that his boss wanted to speak to me. At this point I informed him that either he get out or I would call the police. He packed up, swearing and finally left. Very rude...cannot take no for answer and try to sucker people into it. How anyone can stoop so low to work for this company is beyond me.

Good thing I read this... They called me today for an interview and the girl asked me if I had any management experience, so I said yeah, I`m actually employed as a full time supervisor currently, then she said great your just the person they are looking for, so I'm like ok great.. Then she scheduled the interview for the next day and I agreed to it as was till at 5:30 PM. I asked what the pay was and she couldn't answer that, so after hanging up I was curious, so figured I`d go home and look into this company further. That has led me to this site and seeing as the comments are very recent and not outdated, I am just going to not show up tomorrow at all. WASTE!

I went for an interview here, and it was definitely a joke. I was hired, and did a day's work but was never paid.
On top of that, they kept giving me a run around, giving me times to be in and then saying they never said that.
I quit on the spot. Haven't heard from them since. The dude that runs the place is clearly some sort of sexual deviant too, and there's not a single ounce of professionalism in that entire "office". Skip this job, people. It's a complete and utter joke that preys on the elderly, and your temporary troubles of not being able to find a job. Suuuch a joke.

This company is a joke. So unprofessional. They apparently sell some sort of air purification system (so I was told) but there is no pictures or anything whatsoever to do with their product anywhere in the office. The "Customer Service Agent" position that I applied for was actually a salesperson position where I would need to do 60 - 90 minute presentations in people's home and try to sell the product. And! In order to earn the $3000 per month they advertise as the pay for ALL their job listings you need to DO 48 PRESENTATIONS in a month! They also make you fill out a ridiculous personnel profile where they ask you the weirdest questions... For example 1 of the questions was "Would you have liked to live like a pioneer?" Haha! The interview too place in an office room and also had 2 telemarketers making phone calls in the corner! In the same room! It was the weirdest yet funniest interview I've ever went to. A big waste of time but worth the laugh.:) hopefully someone will google this place BEFORE they go here for an interview and take my advice.

I applied for a job on a Government Site, Appointment Clerk .
Received a call to book an interview . Went to the Interview .
Long story short, the person in charge of this so called company is misleading, arrogant, and very full of themselves . I will think twice before I apply for anything on a Government Site again. Stay Clear of this Company, has Labour Board written all over it !

Glad I found this page. I saw an ad for Customer Service Reps that pays quite a high wage (was a bit sceptical). No where did it say Sales Rep (cold calling). What a crock of bull their is a big difference between a Customer Service Rep and a Sales Rep. Definitely not for me. I do NOT want to work for a company that is so dishonest even before you walk through the door.

my senior parents had a bad bad experience with this company as well. the guy they talked to on the phone to discuss why they were given a used vacuum and not a new one, was quite rude. he wanted to send out a new salesman, even after we told them to come get the vacuum and shove it. they took advantage of seniors in my opinion. they talked on the phone about health issues, and what they were selling was a vacuum. they scam seniors.

I'm glad I found this site. I've been out of work for 7 months so when they called me this evening arranging for an interview, I felt so relieved and excited about finding potential employment. But I noticed that the guy on the phone was really elusive and ambiguous about exactly what the position entails. He told me I would need a car for work every day because they work in different locations (?) So anyway, I did some research and eventually put 2 and 2 together. They're gonna put you out on the street selling vacuum cleaners. There's nothing wrong with a job like that. It's just totally not for me... NOT what I'm looking to do right now. Personally I think they should just cut the crap and be straight up with the public on their job advertisements. The title of the ad I responded to was "Display Retail Merchandiser." Kinda sneaky eh?

These people tried this on me this week. First a misleading survey at the door, followed by a misleading phone call saying I had won a prize which we would like to deliver. So they have met me and know I am a senior citizen.
Next a misleading phone call setting up a time, but no info on purpose of visit. Then a young guy (probably a student) shows up at the front door with 2 giant suitcases on wheels, with no ID or company authorization to show me, and announces he is here to make an hour long presentation, and he is not allowed to talk about price til the end.
So I tell him that won't work for me, so he asks if he can call his boss, who then starts to try to lay a guilt trip on me, and then insults me over the phone. Sounded like an overly aggressive 30 year-old wannabe salesman.
Everyone needs to be protected from these vultures, and senior citizens are the most vulnerable.

I agree with Eric Rubery on this. This company has ads all over the place Including the Government Job Bank and and Advertise positions for "Appointment Clerks" instead of coming
straight forward and saying it's a telemarketing position. They are far from forthcoming so there was no slanderous comment made what so ever. They are misleading, cheesy sales people.

I totally disagree with this comment, my son represents this company and they are very forthcoming and also a great opportunity to make money by selling products that have been tried and tested. The products have been around for 85 years for a reason. Please do your homework before slandering a company you have no knowledge of.

This same company had placed an ad, representing itself as an "electrical manufacturing" company for a sales person in the Whitby newspaper. I arranged for an interview. The person that interviewed me was elusive and deceptive about their products and, only after repeated questioning about what products they manufacture, did he finally say that they sell vacuum cleaners.
