Mr. James Evans has been calling from [protected] to my ex husband, my cousin and telling them that he needs to summons me about some property. When I called him he told me about a debt that I had over 5 years ago. He told me that I would be serve papers and appear before a judge. I couldn't mail a payment or send a check. It will have to be a credit or debit card. I then called back after reading bad reviews from this number. I ask for the name of the law firm he was using. He didn't give me an answer. I called back and ask for an address of the company. He ask why. I told him that I have rights under the Fair Debt Collection practices. He started yelling and threaten to go send papers for me to appear before a judge. Then he hung up on me.

I was also called by James Evans. This man is a bottom feeder in every since of the word. I started to tape record all conversations with him; and you can do this because they will say that they are tape recording you, legally thats your green light. He was very ignorant and rude; a total dirt bag. I explained to him the debt had already been settled and that if he had any issue that he should talk to the previous note holder company that I paid off. This wasnt good enough for him; he told me my payment didnt count and that because of my stupidity I would have to pay twice. I told him no, and to never contact me and if he wanted to give me a message to send it to my home. Of course he claims that the "processor" cant find you. In actuality there is no server looking to give you papers; its a shell game. Evans company calls themselves mitigators, they are still a debt collection agency and must abide by all rules and laws. After recording conversations i turned them over to my lawyer, the state of New Jersey Public Advocate, and the Attorney Generals office. Then after he realized the company was going to be sued; loser Evans had someone named Beagle call my work office to tell HR that they are looking for me with a summons; of course the bottom line was him giving me a message to call Mr. Evans. I called and once again recorded this P.O.S as he admitted to trying to humiliate me and insult me at work in order to get payment. I finally told Mr. Evans "I have a lawyer, and I will give him your number and he will call, and by the way; I have recorded every conversation that we have had; so I guess your going to say more stupid stuff now?" He was pissed, shouted a profanity and then hung up. What that P.O.S doesnt know and what he should have figured was that I was setting him up- I had 2 years of law school. We filed suit and I will update you on what happens, but the problem is that these companies go out of business once a good lawsuit snags them- I suspect they will come back as another company; they used to be Worldwide. Dont take their crap especially that filthy smelly Evans.
