Plumbworld / Online Home Retail insinkerator 3-1 hot water tap

I ordered this tap Friday morning for £399.99
You took the money via my visa debit card but I didn't receive a confirmation - I checked my bank and the money was in my pending saying ‘Plumbworld £399.99' - I contacted Plumbworld and was told that there were 6 failed payments and I had to contact my bank as it was not ‘there problem' - I contacted my bank who said ‘they have taken the transaction so there is nothing they can do' so after 40 mins on phone to the bank they said that Plumbworld can email them saying that they will NOT take the payment and then it can be refunded to me - Plumbworld said they don't send emails 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Now it's Wednesday and I have no refund and no tap ? The bank are still saying the fault lies with Plumbworld and they should clear it with there system but they have refused and claim that this has ‘never happened' before - NO one will help - it's only an email and if they haven't taken the money why should it be so important that they DONT email ? I can't get hold of any management as apparently they don't have any 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail wrongly advertised measurements

Delivered 6/4/18

Product wrongly advertised on website.

Website minimum ext 1040mm
Product and instructions minimum 1.4 mtr

Product purchased based on the website measurements. Both units built in preparation. Both units needed to be under 1 meter.

Both units needed to be cut to size to fit. This resulted in extra cost and a lot of time.

Please prepare refund and change the website details.

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail bath/ pipework

I'm going to take plumbworld to court. I have had 2 broken baths, and broken pipe work on the 3rd bath which caused a leak on my new floor and replacement floor boards, Plumber tried to repair problem but didn't work, new pipe work sent out this was bent so plumber replaced with new pipe work bought local. No leak cost £310 now I use the bath. 👏👏👏 plumbworld not wanting to pay for plumbers work even though I haven't been charged for the other times the bath has been removed approx 4 times trying to repair leak. I have to keep the bath because I bought taps for thus bath and also it fits in corner perfectly. What can I do other than take them to court.
Does anyone know the customer care managers name? I think it is Amy Thompson I need this fir the court papers I think?

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail Wasn't able to get a refund

Never buy from this site, they have the worst service ever! I tried to get a refund, tried to contact their manager, but everything was useless.
My order arrived quite late and also it was defective. Also, I want to mention that I did not read the reviews, so I had no idea how bad Plumbworld was. Anyway, my order was damaged and I asked for a refund, but they said was not possible. I was expecting them to offer me at least something, maybe a replacement or maybe a discount, but they never did anything.
They simply said sorry no refunds and that was the end of our conversation. I do not recommend them to anyone, they are terrible!

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail Defective shower tray

We purchased a shower tray from this seller www.plumbworld.co.uk and when it arrived it was damaged and there was a crack. We contacted Plumbworld right away and asked for a replacement and they promised we'll get it but that never happened. Every time we contacted them they said they were working on our issue and that's actually the only thing they said to us. Nothing was done!
Avoid this terrible company, you will not find a good customer service here and they also do not stand behind their products. What a waste of money!

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail Poor customer service

Bought a shower from them on Ebay at £238.74 then noticed same thing on their Plumbworld's own website was priced at £201.98 (normal price, not a special offer). Accept it was my fault for not shopping around but assumed wrongly that Plumbworld was a reputable Company and that their Ebay prices would be the best. When I queried the gap in prices with them all I got was a confusing answer that their prices varied on different sites and they came across as being not bothered about whether I was a happy customer or not. I got a promise that a woman called JO, a supervisor would contact me by phone but that proved to be false as all I got was a curt email (not even from JO)saying that was their policy and end of story. Been trying to get a printed receipt for the shower from them for the last few days and this is proving near impossible. Obviously customer satisfaction is way down their list.

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail Bad customer service

Ordered a shower cubicle was told delivery would be within 7 days. Got email saying order had been dispatched to delivery company and they would contact within 72 hours. One week later no word. Delivery co rang and said they couldn't find parcel anywhere and were re-ordering it. Plumbworld said they wouldn't re-order it as they had already despatched it. Clearly nobody knows what is going on. I cancelled the order and I am still waiting for a refund 3 weeks later even though they have received the goods back. Most awful company to deal with, I would never use them again, you cannot speak to anyone!

I ordered a shower kit from this website, they delivered the wrong item. I have been ringing and emailing for 5 days and I have had no response whatsoever. The customer services team keep telling me that someone will call me back but no one does!

Ordered a shower and shower cublicle was delivered on time very impressed with service, however when plumber went to fit the cubicle he noticed the door seal was too short in length to go from one side of the door to the other I wrote to plumbworld to advise of this and was sent a replacement seal that was too long and flapped outside the cubicle door, I spoke to customer service who advised they would send another seal this one was too short I have been going to and from with customer services who keep advising me its the way the seal has been fitted the reason to why the seal is not watertight I have sent photogrpahic evidence showing the seal needs to 2.5 cm to make watertight and the ones i have been sent are 3cm and 2 cm but still keep getting told its the way its been fitted chasing up emails never getting replies worst company I've had to deal with and still my shower is not watertight. Its just ridiculous I am so unhappy.

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail LATE DELIVERY PLUMBWORLD UK

Ordered bathroom sink from plumbworld end August It was scheduled for delivery within 3 days. It has so far been resheduled 6 times. Its now 16 Sept, they have yet again promised it will be in stock 18 Sept of which I am very doubtful. Will never use the website again They have debited my card but informed today by another dissatisfied customer that they are not quick to refund.

Plumbworld / Online Home Retail SCAMMING PEOPLE TOOK MONEY WHEN THEY SHOULDNT HAVE PLUMBWORLD UK ARE VERY BAD

Plumbworld as a company is totally incompetent. We ordered and paid for a bath on 2.12.2009. we kept receiving emails advising us of the expected date they were to receive it which changed on a daily basis. Eventually we were advi9sed that it had been received and was shipped to HDNL for onward transportation, this was on 17.12.2009. We received our bath on 19.01.2010 only the feet are missing. We are still trying to resolve this with a conmpany who only correspond by email as and when the mood takes them.

I have recently found out how bad PLUMBWORLD are with customer services. Orders and deliveries seemed ok, but when this go slightly wrong or a refund is required they will treat you like an Alien. Customer services seems to employ 1 person on 1 phone line and can take 1 hour to get an answer. They have made numerous excuses not to refund my money for an item that was never used and was just the wrong size. They refuse to send it back and insist that you get a Courier service to collect and deliver back to you at cost that range from £100 + . They refuse to allow a personal collection and wony entertain anyone at their premises to try to save costs. Im thinking they are a low budget online no frills group of Cowboys and just act as middle men with no after sales or customer care. Ive given up my request for a return of my item..it will cost me £130 lost but will happily tell everyone I know and more never to use this bunch of grifters.

I empathise with you all who have suffered at the hands of Plumbworld. They are, categorically, the worst company I have purchased goods from. I ordered a bath suite on Feb 15th only to be advised each day up until the 21st that this was out of stock and would be coming in - this date changing each day. I have a bathroom refurbishment going on and cannot delay more than a 1 week to have the suite installed (at the time of the order most items were to be in stock at 17th Feb). Anyhow, the order got split in to 3 orders and items shipped to me missing various parts. Delivery was a non-sense, from picking the order/shipping/arriving to my door it took over a week. I was left in an akward position as I was forced to wait for the missing parts as the bath itself had arrived in an earlier delivery, Rather than attempt to arrange a return via the 'email only' 1 man band customer services, I was left to wait for the damaged part to turn up and not cancel the order. I have learned my lesson; never use Plumbworld again.

I too am really disappointed with Plumbworld. I am a pensioner, so funds are limited. I ordered a new kitchen tap. It arrived promptly, and when I opened the box it did look like a new tap plus relevant fittings. So I then booked my plumber to fit it. When he arrived and looked at the tap, he informed me that the tap wasn't new - it was used, given that there were chunks of limescale in the holes to which he would fit the water pipes. I hadn't looked at the apertures myself, but once he showed them to me, I could see these chunks. I looked for a phone number for Plumbworld, only to ring it and be told that communication would only be available via email. Thus I emailed them. Within a couple of hours I received a reply, which asked me to photograph the tap and send it to them so that they could contact their supplier - as the tap should have been new. Well, as I am not too camera or computer literate, I had to get someone to do that for me. The photo did clearly show chunks of limescale. Photo was duly sent, but 2 days later, and two emails from me asking me for a response, I have heard nothing from them. Meanwhile, I have not only had to pay the plumber for his non-fitting visit, I have had to get another tap and pay him to fit that one. I don't have this kind of income available to have Plumbworld holding the money paid to them. I think their customer service is somewhere between poor and non-existent. I am going to take this matter to trading standards. I would never buy from this company again, and would definitely not recommend them to anyone else.

I am having a nightmare with this company plumbworld i ordered a bidet and paid extra for delivery, i have had to wait in every day for 3 days from 7.30am till 9pm for citylink who are supposed to be delivering, they have an automated service only, and i cannot speak to anyone, plumbworld dont have customer services line either, when i finally found a number for citylink they have just informed me despite their website saying my parcel is at the depot for delivery last thursday, that it has not yet left plumbworld! fuming that i have wasted 3 whole days, i have requested a complete refund and if i dont get it shall be reporting these people to trading standards.

It happened to me to-day received skeleton of a Sawing Horse without nuts bolts or washers to assemble it ! Out of pocket plus loss of wages for days work.This is second con on me first by Dell (Colour Printer lost £500) on-line shopping and to-day this by so called toolbox.
Netizens of the world beware on-line shopping go and buy what you can see, touch or taste and get refunds on the spot. Never trusy Pixies of Pixels on the screen !
