I got a breast augementation in June, 2008. Dr. Bernett, was my doctor for my consulation. We had agreed to get a breast augmentation and a bilateral crescent mastopexy. The total was $5, 100.00, ($1, 000 for the lift and $3, 900 for the augmentation) I put in a deposit of $400.00 that day. Dr. Bernett was supposed to be my surgeon, they scheduled me a surgery date of 6/9/2008. During my pre-opp, (1 week before the surgery) Dr. Bernett was not there, 2 days before my surgery they informed me that they scheduled me when Dr. Bernett was not going to be there, she was going on vacation. They informed me they would give me another doctor. ( one that I did not know, nor reviewed about, but I went on an agreed). The morning of my surgery Dr. Doan my new surgeon gave me his consutlation, he said that I do not need a bilateral crescent lift, and that a breast augementation through the belly would be best. Even though I had already paid for the lift, they assured me I would get my refund ( of $1, 000). The surgery went well and I was pleased. During my post op, I notified the patient coordinator about the changes, she said this may take a while, but that I should get my refund in about a month from now. I said okay. 1 month past, and no refund. I called and she said they were doing the paperwork. 2 weeks later I called, the Doctor in charge of accounting was in vacation. 2 months past, I called, they said because I got my breast implants through the belly button it was going to cost more than estimated for an augmentation but that I should still recieve a refund but smaller in the amount. I asked for a documenation, and I never recieved that. 2 months and two weeks past, and everytime I called Gladys the receptionist put me on hold, then stated that she was either not in or busy and to leave a message. ( I never heard from her since). I've called and called and one day complained to them and told them to give me the accountant's number or the one in charge of processing my paperwork for my procedure. They gave me a name and contact number, Dr. Hasseem, from the Newport Beach office. For one month straight I called he was never there, I left many messages, the receptionist for that office was great, she was nice always stating that he would call me and that she is sorry for the problems, but that never helped. I still till this day have not gotten any response from any of the offices. Since the begining, they always screwed everything up, and now they robbed me of my money.
