I never sign a contract my bf got given illegally papers to sign on my name. Now ive being trying from dec 2021 tp cancel and nothing was done. Now I get called by gym to pay up wth also I get told I went with my husband I dont hav one to the gym which is lies Moeketsi mosetu from head office calls me and was rude and gives false info. Please contact me urgent pathetic service that wants free money. Also no help from manager who just sits and does nothing. Bad service. Patricia [protected]

Planet Fitness Harassment

So I been going to gym since 2019 pharr tx planet fitness and I’ve had several workers telling me about my back which ok I’ll put it away at times when one time I had my bag stolen from locker room so besides that I’ve always had my bag because I carry a lot of ropes with me … so this time they canceled my membership due to my bag now I was ok when they told me if they saw my bag in the floor again they would cancel it so I had to take all my stuff out and carried it with me then as I walk with all my ropes and left my bag in the front desk I see other Poole with bags so I felt as if I was being harassed again because of my bag … so I got mad and went ti the front and told them there people with bags and ur telling me about mine when it’s safer for me to carry my bag with am. My ropes instead of walking with them … anyways I have pictures and I want my member ship back due it’s in my city by my house .. thank you

Planet Fitness Feel Like I Am Being Treated Like a Criminal

March 13, 2022

Dear Planet Fitness Corporate Office,

I signed my son up for Planet Fitness with Sean on November 19, 2021. We signed up for the PF Black Card membership, which is $22.99 per month, and it allows him to bring a guest anytime. The first day, I was his guest, so I had to give my name, address, phone number, date of birth, and Sean took a photograph of me. Thereafter, I visited with him as his guest with just giving my name and phone number. In addition, my husband has visited with him as a guest too, and he only gave his name and telephone number. Other than my husband just giving his name and telephone number, he stated that he never had to give his complete identity profile with a photograph, like I had to do three times. My husband and I have been driving our son to the gym for approximately 4 months, and we visit approximately 15+/- days per month, so Sean, John, Ethan, and Alex know who we are, because we frequently visit the gym.

On Friday, March 4th, I brought my son to the gym, but I had plantar fasciitis (heal pain), so I did not work out with him. Instead, I had to wait in the lobby. While I was waiting in the lobby, Ethan told me that to wait in the lobby that I had be a registered guest of the gym. The tone of his voice was harsh and unfriendly. I explained to him that my son has been a member since November 2021, and that I gave my information to be his guest at the time he registered as a new member with Sean. I explained to him that I worked out with my son as a guest or waited in the lobby for him on many occasions over the four-month period. Even though I visited with my son several times, he insisted that I was not a registered guest. At this time, I was only waiting for my son in the lobby. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt very unwelcomed and as if I was being treated like a criminal. FYI… I am not a criminal and I do not have a criminal history. Even though, he handed me an electronic pad, and told me that to wait in the lobby for my son that I had to complete my identity information for the second time. He told me that I will not ever have to do it again, because my name is in the system, but I explained that it should’ve already been in the system. When I arrived at home, I received a “Thank you for visiting us” email from Planet Fitness for giving my information again, which I have saved.

On March 13, 2022, I brought my son to the gym, and Sean was working. I asked him if I could be a guest to my son and ride the bike, because my heal was feeling a little better. He said, “I am sorry, but I can’t let you do that.” I said that my son has the PF Black Card Membership, and he is allowed to bring a guest, so why can’t I be his guest. Oddly, Sean knows me and my son, because he signed him up as a new member in November 2021, and he signed me up as his guest 4 months ago, but he was telling me that I couldn’t be a guest. Then, he looked in his computer system and told me that I am not in the computer system. I told him that I signed up with him on November 19, 2021, as a guest, and that Ethan made me sign up again as a guest just to sit in the lobby on March 4, 2022. For the third time, Sean made me give my identity information and he took a photograph of me. I explained to him that this is disturbing that I had to give my identity information three times. He stated that I should not ever have to give my identity information again and that I am in the system. He did not have a cold or harsh tone like Ethan did, but it is very unsettling to be treated this way.

Why wasn’t my name in the system since I registered as a guest on November 19th? Why didn’t I have any problems for four months, but then all of the sudden have problems twice in March? Why didn’t my husband have to do give his identity information at any time, but I had to sign up with my identity information three times? I feel embarrassed and disappointed at how I am being treated. As stated, I am not a criminal, but I feel like I am being treated as such. We would like to have our $22.99 membership fee reimbursed for the month of February and March for being treated so poorly. We would like to be reimbursed $46. If not, we may cancel our membership.

Planet Fitness Planet fitness rejected taking my money for membership

I went to pay for the yearly membership with cash on March 3, 2022. They refused to take my money. This is against the law to deny cash from an individual. I do not want them keeping my card on file and they should have taken the cash. This is very unprofessional. I have paid cash for the whole year before and as a customer, this should be an option left up to me.

Planet Fitness Unauthorized charges

Charges from May 2021 thru February 2022. Account accessed and became active using my information in May. Tried to resolve it and they told me they would cancel it. I asked for corporate address; they gave me an email address. They sent me a cancellation notice and at the same time I get a text saying my bank information was incorrect with a phone number. Then I get a text thanking me for subscribing to Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness Tanning Beds

I have been a member with planet fitness for at least five years. In the last 6 months the facility that I use has become unsanitary. We are to sign in to use a tanning bed, yet they are not checked after that person exits the room, as it obviously should be. We are to clean our bed before we get in and clean upon exit. Yet no trash can, half the time no chair, and the floors are disgusting. I was in on Thursday 2/17/22 at 8:30am I signed in, why, I am unsure (no one checks the room) upon entering, no trash can, bloody paper towels in the floor and blood on the bed, someone had obviously cleaned themselves up and threw their disgusting paper towels onto the floor. Pretty sure everyone walks barefoot in there?! YUCK! I clean the bed before my time, clean it after, then I proceed to the front desk to let them know and ask WHY there is no trash can? I was told because people were urinating in them...FANTASTIC. Again, I ask...WHY are these rooms not checked every time someone leaves? If we have to sign in, it should be obvious who was in that particular room last. I guess this is what a cheap gym gets ya.

Planet Fitness Health and safety

Hello, my complaint is about a customer being aloud to constantly workout amongst others in his medical attire (scrubs).

With everything going on in this world(pandemic), this is really unsafe, it is obvious that this person is some sort of medical professional and is unfortunately endangering the lives of others here. At first, I didn't want to make a big deal of this because he has been doing this for sometime now until I found out that others feel the same way.

After consulting with a CDC official, I find that my complaint is legitimate and I am asking you to adhere to the Safety and Health Guidelines as well as your own Code of Ethics to simply inform this individual to change his attire. The following gym is Planet Fitness, Hephzibah, GA 30815

CDC also suggested that I get the Better Business Bureau involved if needed. Hopefully, it ends here...

Planet Fitness Planet fitness staff & equip

West Norfolk Road, Portsmouth VA location. this is, and now will be WAS my gym. last ditch effort. rant coming. hopefully heard.

1. been with pf forever. norfolk/little creek is huge and lit! moved out of state. canceled my acct. only 10 a month. cool. get back 3 yrs later, signed up a few months ago, said i had an outstanding balance. the cxl didnt take. paid over 300 to clear it. i blame me. i should have double checked/confirmed before moving out of state. i'll take that hit. fine. whatevs. pay another 25 the same day to sign up. supposed to have almost 60 once a yr in main. fees. usually july. i got hit again 2 weeks later and told i need to pay another 85 that month for both. ok. whatever it takes to get it done. so, im now up to 400.

2. im a recluse. i got back in the gym to get out more about 3 months ago. work/shop/from home. rarely leave. 9 days in, me and the girl i workout with who is also like me contract CV. 2 yrs, nothing. a week at the gym. cv from ptown pf. stayed out of the gym 4 weeks. stayed home. cautious. now i wipe all machines down before and after i work out. no problems so far.

3. not 24/7 like advertised. i ask about it, they said it most likely wont open. not enough people. to much out of pocket to keep the lights on. whatevs. no biggy, but i liked to workout at midnight. i adjusted. now when you open. no big deal. just not what i paid for. 24.99.

4. HERES WHERE I DRAW THE LINE. bench machine/olympic, broken. my 2nd fav machine. FOR 2 MONTHS WITH A WET FLOOR SIGN? men take these machines. only 4 in the place. they literally stay on them the whole time so you have to snatch and grab when you can. only having 3 was annoying. but again. whatevs right? WRONG. 3 more machines broken. my first fav machine ab/aductor. only the left side worked today. i thought maybe i put the pin in wrong. go to the counter, ask she says 'should have had an out of order sign'. i said nope. thought i just did it wrong. know when it will be functional again? i get and im quoting *eye rolling, WHO KNOWS* and that was where the convo stopped. she went back to what she was doing. i laughed a bit. went and finished my workout.

5. you dont offer the 24/7 advertised. your machines are not functional and take 2 months to fix?!?!? your staff is less than even friendly. sounds like i had it out and got snippy right? nope. i kept my mouth shut and smiled a little. not showing out over a gym issue. but i really have had it. sounds like im pulling a typical karen rant right? wrong. im not asking for anything extra. anything special. im asking for WHAT YOU ADVERTISE. if i dont pay, you come for me. but if you dont do your due diligence to keep the place safe, equip in working order and offer the hours you say you do, maybe the BBB and corporate should be contacted. or you should just shut down. it takes me six minutes to drive to this one. i will be changing to victory blvd. only 7 minutes longer to drive. this place should be reported to the health board and/or shut down until you learn how to honor your agreements and run a business in a professional manner. i dont want a discount. my money back. i just want WHAT YOU PROMISED CONTRACTUALLY. leaving only one of SEVERAL examples. almost 2 months now. it went from cracking to you letting people workout like this. THIS IS DANGEROUS. but at least after six weeks you took off the cracking cushion that kept cutting into my hands. i wear wraps now just to workout in this particular gym? LEVEL UP OR FILE BANKRUPTCY.

Desired outcome: I dont want money, discounts, or an apology. I want them to honor their agreement.

Planet Fitness Fraudulent charges to my account

I have been trying to resolve a unexplained charge to my account that is not the monthly membership and I have not heard back from management. I had to dispute the charge to my account, this is the second time a unexplained charge was applied to my account with Planet fitness.

Planet Fitness Dress code

On 1-25-22 at approximately 1400 hrs I was rudely evicted by three (3) of the staff from the Beaufort, SC Planet Fitness facility when I entered wearing Crocs. Nowhere in the company's rules and membership agreement I signed are Crocs prohibited. When I explained that I had been wearing the Crocs to the facility for at least 6 months and had never before been approached there was no explanation. I further stated that I would be happy to abide by the rule in the future but would like to complete my workout in the 30 minute workout area for today only. I am a 1 hour drive from the facility. Again I was rudely denied and embarassed. This is a perfect example of incompetent customer service.

Desired outcome: Compensation in some form for the embarassment and denial of my workout. Also a written apology from the manager of the facility.

Planet Fitness Locker room not safe, had locker busted and keys stolen and car

Incident happened on 1/8/22. I put spa bag in locker and locked up and worked out till 3;15. I came back and locker was busted, and reported to staff and staff called police

I was told yesterday that I could go to the new home gym and fill out some paperwork and then I'd be switched. When I got there, nobody was capable of doing the switch, so I missed out completely on my work-out. Poor management left incompetent workers as the only contact points. Planet Fitness Rude manager and overpayment

I have been dealing with a late payment fee regarding my account #60800000000532778.

I have been a client of Planet Fitness since 2013. Recruiting memberships were completed in the parking lot as the gym was being equipped and not completed. A credit card was required to join.

I am turning 70 in a few weeks and am partially deaf.

I lost the credit card that was on file the end of November. The November payment had been processed successfully on 11/18 in the amount of $20.03 without a problem.

I received my new credit card the beginning of December and provide my home Planet Fitness the number to process any future payments.

I purchased a water with the new credit card on file on 12/11 for $1.07.

About a week later I went to another Planet Fitness. They informed me that there was a problem with my account and I needed to contact my home fitness club. I noticed that day that I had been charged $30.03 on 12/22.

I called my club twice and was told that I would have to speak to the manager and he would call me back. I did not receive a call back.

i went into my club and spoke to a man that was the manager. He looked at my account and saw that the rep had only entered my card for purchases not for the membership charge. I informed him that I could not enter the new card online and it could only be done in person, therefore it was the companies error not mine and I should not be assessed the late fee. He agreed and said he would have to contact home office.

I checked with him during my visits and he informed me they did not get back to him,

I went in yesterday and the gentleman that I had been dealing with was not the manager as Yosmi (the manager) informed me.

I tried to explain the situation to her and she told me to basically shut up and listen to her and not roll my eyes (which I wasn't). She told me it was my fault because I did not have a checking account on file (which I never had since I opened my account).

She continued to belittle me. I told he I had been in customer service for almost 50 years and I would not speak to my customer like she was and was she aware that her paycheck is paid for by her customers. She screamed at me that I did not sign her check,

At this point, I had had enough, I asked for her name and corporate phone number.

I ended my membership which she did not allow me to sign off on.

Please note the gentleman that I had been dealing with previously stood there dumbfounded. He did not know what to say.

Planet Fitness Customer service when something happens

Today [3 January 2022] this happens at the planet fitness Suite - 111 - 92 International Speed BLVD. DeLand. Well I finished my workout on this date around 5:00pm, I parked my Car right in Front of PF no more than 50F. From the Front Desk, you can even see my Car Parked From the Inside, anyway right after get out of the Door I went straight to my Car I put my Gear Backpack in the Back Sit at the same time I pulled my Wallet fron the Bag and put it on Top of my Car right on the same Left side of the Car where I put my Bag which is looking straight to the Entrance of PF. Well I pull out and for my mistake I forgat to grab my Wallet from Top of my Car when I left don't pass more than 5minutes which I did turn around and went streight to the Parking but for my surprise my Wallet was no where to be found, I parked my Car real Quick and since that area is where everybody walk inside PF, I went streight to the Booth and ask if anyone turned in a Men Wallet, They all say NO So I told Them that I will go in PF and say loud if anyone found a Wallet None of them say anything So I Proseed, I start yelling out loud if anyone found a Wallet Outside in parking lot none answer So I Continue all the way to the End, For my Surprise there was right bihind me the Manager telling me that I can not do that, which I find Stupid and Rudd Specially when I have lost all my Credit Cards and ID's in My Wallet So, I told him sorry but there a lot of Money in that Wallet like more than $40, 000 in Credit Cards and all my ID's, My Military ID Card, LIcense and all the Money and everything else, he continue telling me that I can not do that but do not offer any Solutions. like mayve using a PA Sistem if they have any or simple any other help. I do, Understand mayve you are going to say is not your problem after you get out of PF but why not help why not going inside asking when in that area majority of human traffic is to go inside PF anyway at the end he came out with me and looks a little around the parking lot but nothing. I did Thanks Him. But my point is why not have some kind of PA Sistem that if you have an Emergency or something like this happens you can probably announced thrue the PA Sistem. anyway Thanks for Nothing because I loss all my Documents Including all my Credit Cards and Cash.

Planet Fitness I am a member at planet fitness and I want to file a complaint

I belong to planet fitness in Benton harbor Michigan, have been with them for around 3 years, sometimes the day that my monthly dues are due falls on my opposite paycheck week, they have never had a problem waiting that week for me to make the payment, there was a manager named Ashley at the planet fitness tonight who's so rudely in front of everybody standing there said I cannot step foot in the door until I make the payment on Friday even though it's Tuesday, and everybody else during the week said no problem as long as you pay it Friday, I asked to get a number of someone in charge of her and she said she is the only one that's in charge and that nobody can make the decision but her, I was mortified and embarrassed and people were looking at me and I've never been treated this way before and I am very very upset about this, my name is Donna johnson, my phone number is [protected], I've always liked the people at planet fitness been going there for years and this was horrifying, she was very rude very abrupt and made me feel very upset, embarrassed, and she was so rude it was unbelievable
