Shortly upon moving in I found that my unit was infested with bed bugs. When I tried to speak to the manager Sonya Hernandez about it she claimed that I brought them with me and that the apartment would not be responsible. I was outraged as this was not a problem until I moved into the unit. When I spoke to my neighbors I was told they same thing and that there was also an issue with scorpions in the summer time. Management failed to exterminate for that as well.

If you walk around the grounds you will find dog excrement every where. I don't understand why maintenance doesn't have time to pick this up since they are doing anything about fumigating.

Read the lease thoroughly! When I tried to get out because the bed bugs could not be killed I was reminded there is a 60 days notice and they would not let me break it.

I've had an excessive amount of scorpions in my apartment. This was not disclosed to me before moving in. In fact, I asked if it was an issue and they said no. I moved from out of state and this was my big fear and obviously, I wasnt well versed in what areas they like to live in. Management has my apartment sprayed every 2 weeks (because I keep finding them that often!) and they spray the outside of the building. They did one "black light treatment" of the outside after I complained excessively about the situation. 1 treatment is useless. This should be an every other night thing. They told me buy mesh to put in my AC vents (why do I have to buy this?) and I bought what an employee at Home Depot told me to buy and then maintenance told me it was the wrong kind but not what to buy! I've been waiting for an email back for 2 days. No one responds in a timely manner and no one acts like it's a big problem. I left two voicemails one day and no one called me back. They say it's normal to have 1 to 2 scorpions a week! Um, no. I know people who live way out in San Tan Valley (the actual desert) and they've only had 2 in 4 years. I've had 6 in 2 months. Ridiculous. And I live on the 3rd floor!

Ross I just moved in last month to Pillar at San Tan. I'm very unhappy here. First of all the office never answers the phone. It's so hard to even talk to someone. Secondly roaches are all over the grounds...which for me as a woman are my worst fear...i'd rather swim with a shark. Finally i was bitten by my neighbors dog and the complex won't do anything about it! not even give out a warning. I want to break my lease and find somewhere else to go. I don't have a problem with waiting 60 days but how much money did you have to pay out to break your lease and what other fees were applied? Thank.
