I am writing this complaint because booking a flight to your airline was the worst experience ever. We booked a flight last June 29, 2022, and we received the worst service from you. From the ticketing booth, boarding gates officers, and flight attendants are all not helpful. We’ve been charged for excess baggage and instead of expediting the process because our flight was about to board, the flight attendants and the supervisor in charge give us unreasonable options whether we will offload the first 2 checked un baggage or leave the excess baggage. How can you give those kinds of options to your passengers? The flight attendants keep on talking instead of having the transaction done so we can proceed with the flight.

With this, I would highly NOT recommend your airline to any passenger. I would discourage them to book a flight at your airline. Worst experience ever!

Have sent several emails to the company and re-opened cases with US and PH bureaus. Now I feel the fake refund was credit card fraud as well.

Hi, Good Day! I would like to express my concern regarding my cancelled ticket last April. I hope I hear a response to your office.

So my late father passed away last 2nd of April 2021, due to a car accident. His remains was in Ragay, Camarines Sur.

I booked two tickets last April 7, 2021 for my mother and myself when suddenly PAL contacted me that THERE WILL BE NO FLIGHT ON THAT DAY (APRIL7) and your office (PAL) can make the flight possible for the next day, April 8th which was the last wake of my father, and your office(PAL) said that they can only issue a refund. And I chose the refund and booked another flight.

So here is my concern, it's been 10 months this February but I still didn't get my refund, KIWI is my issuing agent and they DON'T GIVE ME ANY UPDATES REGARDING THE REFUND.

The refund process is taking us long. I want to get my refund or at least give me a proper response and an update regarding my refund. I just want an ASSURANCE that you can give our money back.

I have a February 2022 flight to Manila that I canceled over the phone last December 2021. I was told refunds takes months to get which is ok for me, but I haven't received any confirmation email stating that my flight is canceled, and refund is in process. I called today 02/02/2022 and was put on hold multiple times. I called mabuhay miles line since I am a member, unfortunately, I did not link my booking with my mabuhay miles so agent couldn't help me as she did not have access to pull my booking. WTH? is that mean they don't have the same system? She then transferred me to another line and the recorded voice keep saying my wait is less than one minute when in fact I was already on hold for more than 20mins. Then a recording says "waiting time is less than 41 minutes. I seldom fly with PAL for these reasons: they definitely have the worst customer service, and the webpage is ancient.

my baggage with tag number AA [protected] was not found with the arriving baggage,
I was promised that they will get in touch with me and I am waiting
inside the baggage are my medications and very important personal things that i need daily here in the Philippines while traveling.
I am now in quarantine for 5 days and have no way to personally follow it up at the airport

While sitting on 54A flight from dammam to manila on nov 13, 2021, i felt something sticking on my shirt. When i checked, i found a gum on the pillow case and back seat where i was sitting. I tried washing off the gum from mu shirt while in the hotel but unable to totally removed it. Beside the duscomfort i felt on the flight, bus trip from airport to hotel, as well as ruining my shirt, it's unacceptable lapse on your cleaning crew for not seeing the gum before we board the flight.

To Philippine Airlines,

Make your travel requirements clear. I have furnished the the requirements which you requested before my flight. I have lost a couple of money because you have not stated that you are not allowing passengers to check in without the QR code. It is clearly stated in your travel requirements that vaccination card and rt-pcr are enough. This is clearly a false information to all the passengers!

I have already confirmed flight on 14 Jul 2021 flight number PR 5655 and they cancel the flight. I visit PAL office in Riyadh KSA they told me the flight was change to PR 5657 and all flight on 5655 is cancel. But they make a new flight PR 5657 with the same flight schedule on 14 Jul 2021 at 9:10pm which is exactly the same flight that I have the confirm flight no PR 5655 the original flight. This is unfair and my flight is very emergency and very important. This is not accepted to me and not justify. Kindly do actions. I feel so deepest on what they did to me which I didn't accept at all.

We havent received the refund since May 2020. It has been more than a year. We were promised to get a refund after 3 months. After how many follow ups with customer service of the airline, we still haven't receive our refund.

I filed and was given and acknowledged refund reference number by their Customer service last June 22, 2020. No actual refunded was ever posted to my credit card and have not received a clear reply from my weekly follow-up emails for over 10 months now. They keep giving a canned reponse about the high volume of refunds and that they will give me an update after 30 days but nothing even until today

I booked a refundable ticket with airline and due to covid i had ti cancel my plan so I tried to cancel booking but suddenly they don't allow online cancel and local office will not respond for online bookings, so i had to call Philiphines to make my refund request afte several calls they process my request and received email on 8 August 2020 that i will get my refund in 5 bill cycles which estimated by Jan 2021, now its almost end of March still waiting for refund tried call them many times and in recent call they asked to request refund again and wait for another 5 bill cycles that absurd, so told them it now way to work and only reply I got thy what we can do on ourside

On August 12, 2020 PAL emailed a reply to my request for REFUND. The stated "We have already processed the refund and assigned refund reference number EIA2014457." "Due to the high volume of requests and limitations from the enhanced community quarantine in the Philippines, there may be some delays in the processing of refunds. Please allow 5 months from the date the refund was processed (or an average of 5 billing cycles) for the amount to be credited back to the account used."

On January 25, 2021 PAL emailed a reply to my DEMAND email stating "Based on our record, the tickets are already in refund status; however, due to the high volume of requests and limitations from the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the Philippines, there may be some delays in the processing of refunds. We ask for your patience and understanding."

Clearly PAL is FRAUDING customers by NOT POSTING REFUND to Credit Card used by customer.

A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT is likely as the PAL customers FRAUDED are numerous. PAL faces enormous legal fees and penalties by USA regulators.

I was twice charged of $2600 when upgraded to bsnss class on Jan 24, 2021. Up to this moment, still investigating after all the receipts were submitted to PAL. I was passed on to different websites and the last person is Ms. AVA investigating the problem. She hasn't responded and refunded my money of $2600. Very disappointing and didn't even help.

I purchased our PAL tickets in October almost two weeks before our supposed flight on Oct. 21. I kept referencing the PAL Travel Advisory for the requirements to travel. But NOTHING was mentioned about the new immigration law that took effect on August 9, 2020 requiring visa for foreign passport holders married to a Filipino national. I always travel with both my Filipino and American passports. The PAL agent that took my reservation also said NOTHING about the visa requirement which could have prevented us from going through this hassles and extra expenses of flying from east coast (Norfolk) to the west coast (San Francisco) only to be denied boarding. Then we had to spend two days at a hotel (night of Oct 21 and past check out time of 11 AM the next day on Oct. 22), food and transport and arranged for a flight back to the east coast. So our tickets are supposed to be good for rebooking with or without a fee. But this is a second canceled flight for us with PAL. Check the first one below which we haven't recieved refund yet since March 2020.

Our PAL flight from Honolulu to Panglao, Bohol on March 31 was canceled by PAL, and I have yet to receive our refund. Our reservation included an $88- flight protection plan insurance to cover our cost in case of cancelation with a total cost of $1, 457.80. I have been so patient waiting to be refunded but PAL has not refunded my card yet. Please refund my card back the soonest so I can book another flight to the Philippines the soonest. Thank you for your kind consideration!

I purchased excess luggage on my flight from kul to mnl on 1 mar online and have been requesting for my ereceipt for excess baggage for the past 2 months. Each time I call the help hotline, they ask me to contact a different email and none of those emails send any sort of acknowledgement or estimated time for when the received can be provided.

Ive also called the hotline atleast 6 times and all they do is ask me to continue to send the same followup emails. For an airline that advertises itself as a 5 start airline, this is unacceptable service!

I purchased 2 tickets for my wife and son a couple of hours ago and saw that the salutation said MR for my wife. I'm simply trying to change the salutation but it's been 1 whole day but still no answer. The annoying piano classical music just keeps on repeating. I've had issues with their service before but had no choice due to certain issues in the world right now. I would like to request a refund but can't even get a hold of 1 person but this damn music! I know there's a rule about 24 hours to get a refund. Unfortunately, they won't answer your call to make sure you surpass your alloted time. Bad business!

Nag book ako ng ticket online for my vacation nung Feb. 6, 2020 Yung flight ko ay Feb 18, 2020 to March 2, 2020.
Nung nag book ako ng ticket at nag confirm same day and time they charge me for the ticket 1620aed. Then dumting ung vacation day hanggang s nkabalik na ko dto sa Dubai. Tapos kahapon March 8, 2020 nacharge ulet ako with the same price pero this time wlang email n dumting. nkipagcoordinate ako s bank ko Emirates NBD. Sabi Nila 2x akong n deduct ng PAL with the same amount. Even though ung pag book ko ng ticket ay nung Feb 6 pa. Khapon lng daw knuha Yung payment which is so impossible.. So pls PAL irefund nyo Yung isang payment ko. That's too much. Thanks.

I am sick and really scared to go to Japan now in this corona virus situation. I have been calling the customer care to resolve the issue everyday and your team does not care. They are not willing to refund or waive rebooking fee for future flight. I would appreciate if you really care about human lives.
