PG Glass Cut of mirror and drill 4 holes

On the 8th July I ordered a mirror to be cut round and 4 holes to be drilled. I then was promised that the mirror will be delivered on the next Monday the 12th July. Then the riots happen and I had to wait until it was safe to for the company to deliver. I then phoned on the Friday the 16th July and told that there was a diesel problem. I then was promised that they will deliver on Tuesday the 20th July. I phoned the Wednesday morning to find out what happen and then was promised that they will deliver that day. Thursday morning i phoned and the same story was told to me. Today is Friday still no mirror. I now sit with a unhappy customer please help to solve this. i was told to pay in full for the mirror to be cut and did so. Now PG Glass haven't deliver and no contact was made from there side to explain the delay. I have to phone every time to find out what the problem is. Please help. Document no 14515. Branch 7HS

PG Glass Site Visit

No prior notice was given to me that PG glass will be doing a site visit.

I did request that I shall inform PG glass when there will be access to the unit. Only once I've arranged for someone to come oversee the site visit.

PG glass did not phone me as requested, they arrived at unit and asked for the keys to my unit.

I did ask PG glass to phone me once they are in the unit to discuss a few things, the lady that was taking care of my quote ensured me they will ( that's once I've confirmed they can enter the unit)
They did not give me a call.

I can not explain my level of disappointment, invasion of privacy and neglect of customer satisfaction in this matter and I shall take this further.

PG Glass Damage to vehicle with windscreen repair

I logged an insurance claim (6/6/21) #4161851 for PG Glass to replace my cracked windscreen. The mobile team from the Tokai Branch attended to the call. Firstly the rubberizing around the window was damaged and had to be replaced. They also refitted the plastic panel below the wipers poorly, which left a gaping bubble. The technician insisted the poorly fitted plastic panel was pre-existing 'sun damage' to my car and that I can simply claim it from my insurance. This was untrue as it was not present before the work they did (this bubble was directly below the chip and would not have gone unnoticed). At the second call-out (Thursday 17/6/21 at 15h10) to replace the rubberizing, the bubble in the panel below the wipers was also corrected after I insisted on it. After the technician team had left, my husband noticed that there was new damage to a plastic strip above the drivers side of my car. The damage was at the point where this strip touches the windscreen and it seems as if the strip was hooked up and bent up when they lifted the windscreen off. This resulted in permanent damage to the strip where it bent upwards and the inability to fit this strip securely back into place. The result is a loose fitting that will dislodge when driving and damage the vehicle when flapping in the wind. I immediately phoned PG Glass for the technician team to return [protected] at 16h19). My call was taken but not actioned. I phoned back on Monday 21/6/21 and was told the call was never logged. It took me reporting this to my insurance company to get any action from PG Glass. Their response was to send the same technician team (without any objective assessor accompanying them) to assess the situation. At this appointment the technicians agreed that the damage could have been as result of their work but claimed they did not notice it at the time and they will add it to their job card (23/6/21 16h00). To my surprise the subsequent feedback from my insurance company was that PG Glass accepts no responsibility for this damage as it's unrelated to windscreen repair (01/7/21). They maintain the damage is not in close proximity to the windscreen and therefore could not have been as a result of their work. Please note that if the damage was caused by anything other than the removal of the windscreen, why is the panel damaged at the contact point and why is there no other damage to the roof of the vehicle? The technician has now lied to me twice, yet PG Glass is unwilling to objectively assess the situation. There is now R 2000's worth of damage to my vehicle that PG Glass is passing on to me to pay out of my pocket. This is unfortunately very poor and dishonest service.
I have photographs of the damaged panel, showing clearly what I have described above. I have more than what is uploaded below. Images were taken on the day of the damage. A visual inspection of the situation can also clearly confirm the situation.

Desired outcome: For PG Glass to objectively assess the situation and honour the repairs of the damage to my vehicle.

PG Glass Steel replacement windows

Pg glass kathu quoted me for steel replacement on my home windows. Accepted the quote and paid them in full 19/04/2021. Till date still struggeling to finish the job. It looks horrible and amatures doing it in 6 weeks did 1 and not corectly it is the 4th time the are re making the windows. The building contractor cant finish his job as we are waiting for pg glass to finish their part.
Noe the walls been damage,
The frame grind away, alminuim are scratched and dent. What must we do looks horribille

Please need help cant go on like this

PG Glass Windscreen not fitted

Proof of payment send on the 22 April 2021 to Yvette Botha. She did reply to my email and confirmed the payment. They would have contacted my client the same day to arrange for the windscreen to be replaced. Phoned the call centre today, only to be informed that the windscreen has been replaced. Tried to get the problem sorted but with no luck! Did send Yvette an email again to informed her that the windscreen as NOT been replaced and if she could please advise. No response! THE WINDSCREEN HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED AND PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE

PG Glass Windscreen

On the 13/01/2021 I went to pg jhb to sit my windscreen because I got confirmation via a phone call and sms that I must come that week so I choose that I will go wednesday morning, when I got there to my surprise there was no glass and they claimed they called to let me know but no one actually did, ok fine I left then they told me the me they will send their mobile team to me at work, monday on the 18/01/2021 which is today waited almost the whole them got worried then picked up our office phone to find out where is the person that supposed to come and install my car glass only to be told we still don't have the glass in stock and it could take up to six month for a glass to arrive, what nonsense is that? [protected]

PG Glass Bad workmanship

My vehicle was taken to boksburg branch for a window replacement but the workmanship was a disgrace, people just dont have pride in their job, the window is lower on the right side and there is silicone on top of the window that sticks out everywhere,

PG Glass Rear window replacement

I contact on the 3/5/2020 PG glass Rustenburg (+[protected]) and ask for a rear window with demister for my Corolla after the Gardner damage it with a bush-cutter
They said after I pay a deposit they will order it. I went to them and pay the full amount R1750.00
On the 05/05/2020 they install the rear window. They phone later that the car is ready. When I fetched the car I noticed the window they installed was without a demister and they try to get away with it. I asked why they install the wrong window the manager said he will find out and will phone me within a hour. I phone him after a hour he said he is still trying the get the right
window. A Adel phone me later and said they cant find one because all the businesses was closed due to the lock-down and try to bribe me with R400.00, I refused and said I rather wait.
I later went to the shop. The manager said he will get the right window when the businesses is up and running. I ask him if I get one he said then we can make a plan
I find a window at Eagle glass and on the 29/05/2020 I gave PG glass the contact number. a week later I ask when can I get the glass the reply it was order and still waiting for the courier And up to now 17/7/2020 it is his excuse
On the 3 July 2020 get hold of PG glass Customer care to assist me (Jannie Niemand [protected]) He said he can help but he is successful up to now
I use the car in the morning and it is very dangerous when the window missed up and I cant see behind me. Please assist me in getting the window replaced or get my money back

PG Glass Service complaint

I am absolutely disgusted at the shocking service of the Somerset West branch. For three days my daughter has been waiting for a damaged glass door and window to be replaced. For three days the person she has dealt with ‘Gavin' has lied and given her the run around. I now have got involved and he assured me he would call me back and get the issue resolved, I am still waiting I have attempted to call him again 4 times and left messages and held on the phone for over 29 minutes to get told oh so he has now gone out, this is shocking service and in my mind you have not right to be called a business and should actually shut your doors if you employ the caliber of staff you have there. Even the lady who answered the calls is shocking to say the least I heard her in background talking to this Gavin when she comes back on line and sorry he is at the back but heard him talking to her and she said he has been on hold for a long time. He said something and she laughed and then came back and told me he is not there and when i confronted her about hearing him she simply replies I told you he is not here and canceled the call. Shocking is an understatement actually disgusting both should be without a job, I am sure there are people out there who actually deserve a job and want to work

PG Glass Lack of service, 3 weeks and still haven't received my order

Good day

I placed my order on the 25/10/2019 with a lead time of 10-14 days, after calling and emailing to no avail and being assured by Dumasanie on 3 occasions that my glass would be completed on 12-11-2019, I once again called today 10-11-2109 to confirm and they tell me it will once again only be ready after the 18/11/2019 which will make it over 3 weeks and there is still no guarantee it will in fact be ready.

I have waited literally for hours on my cell phone to no avail and spoken to numerous people's over the last two weeks including Dumisanie and Vasco, they are rude and not Helpful.

This is a disgrace, shocking lack of service with incompetence in the extreme.

Don't ever deal with PG glass!

PG Glass Window with cat flap

Shocking service, wrong advice, followed up 4 times to be told they would phone me back. Not once dit they keep their word to phone me back. Had to wait 2 weeks for small catflap hole to be cut into 600cm x 400 cm window. Did not pitch twice for arranged installation even though dates and times confirmed. Eventually cancelled the order and received great service within a day from another service provider.

PG Glass Shocking service and communication from pg glass menlyn (4 weeks ongoing for a windscreen to be replaced)

My insurance claim for windscreen repair was registered with PG Glass Menlyn on the 3rd of June 2019 by our Insurer, Santam Insurance.

On the 12th of June 2019, I received a call from PG Glass Menlyn (Belinda) who wanted to schedule a date for fitment. At this time, my vehicle was based at BMW Menlyn Auto Dealership for repairs on a damaged grille. I clearly explained this to Belinda and provided her with the Service Advisors' (Piero Rivoli) contact details in which she confirmed she would contact and make the necessary fitment appointment.

On Wednesday, 19 June 2019, I tried to contact Belinda (PG Glass Menlyn) on 2 occasions to find out what had happened to the scheduling and fitment of my windscreen as it was still not done. While holding on the line for Belinda to attend to my call for both occassions (15 mins), my call was dropped and engaged.

On Monday 24 June 2019, I contacted PG Glass Menlyn again to follow up on my claim as I had still not had any feedback and my vehicles location had changed. I spoke to person by the name of Alex, who informed me that my fitment was scheduled for 10am that morning. I indicated to him that this could not have been the case as no one from PG Glass has contacted me prior to this to make the appointment and the location of my vehicle has also changed. I asked Alex to confirm the number he contacted which was also the incorrect number. I once again provided the contact details for the Zambezi Auto Repair Centre (Mayroon) for PG Glass to contact and arrange the required fitment.

On 26 June 2019, I received a call from PG Glass Menlyn (Hennie) requesting to schedule an appointment for fitment. I explained to him again that I had provided all the details to Alex on who to contact and where to go for the fitment which Hennie had no knowledge of. I once again had to explain this to him.

On the same day, Hennie contacted Mayroon from Zambezi Auto Repair Center and confirmed the date of fitment for Friday morning, 28 June 2019. Mayroon contacted myself (owner of vehicle) to indicate that my car is ready on Thursday, 27 June 2019 but can stay until Friday to have the windscreen fitment completed as well to which I agreed to.

On Thursday, 27 June 2019 at 3pm, Hennie from PG Glass Menlyn contacted me to inform me that they do not have stock of my windscreen and will only receive the windscreen on Monday, 01 July 2019. This after I specifically arranged with the Repair Center to keep my car for another day to have the windscreen repair completed and then also to only be informed the afternoon before the fitment was scheduled to be done.

The next appointment has now been scheduled for 02 July 2019 (almost exactly a full calendar month to the day). Absolutely shocking service from PG Glass Menlyn.

I have had exactly the same experience in February 2018 where I escalated to the Insurance Company the poor service received from PG Glass Menlyn where it took 2 months to repair my windscreen.

PG Glass Pay for chip repair

Good morning
I actually want to complain about false advertising. In your TV ad, a woman goes to repair a chip in the windscreen. When she wanted to pay, the repair man told her it has already been taken care of because her insurance will pay. I went to PG Glass Secunda yesterday 25 June 2019 and I had to pay for the repair and then claim it back from my insurance.

It is in direct contrast to your advertisement. It is very inconvenient because I did not have the money readily available. I payed for the repair but now have a whole in my budget until the insurance company pay it back.

PG Glass Replacing of drivers side window.-outsurance claim nr : [protected]

I am totally disgusted with the service that we received from PG Glass in Oudtshoorn. They had to replace my driver's side window as an Outsurance claim job. When the car was delivered the door could not open from the inside, just to find out that the lock was broken by the installer. I took the car back and it was taken to a very unfriendly and unprofessional mechanic next door who said that it can't be fixed and a new lock had to be ordered. I was told that it would take 2 weeks as my car is a Mercedes Benz and the locks are ordered from Germany. I was promised that the new lock will be fixed by the Mercedes agency itself. The car was handed back to me without any locks or handles and I had to put the broken lock in myself that was left in the boot of the car, just to enable me to drive my car and had to open it with a piece of wire. I was notified a month later to bring the car in - they had acquired another lock, NOT from Germany and the same mechanic that caused the problem in the first place, was to install it again - the pics below show how the car was then delivered to me - the strip of the upholstery gone, and the panel in a filthy condition - when I took it back to show to them, I was promised that I will be phoned to be informed when I must bring the car in again -I never heard from PG Glass Oudtshoorn again.The 2nd picture shows the passenger side door to indicate the condition in which the car was originally given to them. I reported it to Outsurance and the matter is still pending - almost two months later!

PG Glass Windscreen replacement

I am very disgusted with PG Autoglass. They quoted us a price and told us we had to wait to get it fitted. When they finally book us to have it fitted they change the price on us. Decide to double the price. This is criminal. My fiancé has been driving with a broken windscreen for weeks now with children in the car on the highway. I phoned to complain and they dont seem to care, The lady Meissa can't even phone me back on the number I gave her. The attitude and service is disgusting. I had another glass lined up but that has now also been sold so they have even spoilt that opportunity. This is not good at all PG! We need less of this DON'T CARE attitude in our country. Shame on you.

PG Glass Glass quotation & fitment/ 3483324

I callled PG glass on friday 21 December reuesting a quotation for my broken left rear window, I then agreed to a qoutation that was provided and was told that someone from the Durban central office would give a call to come for fittment as they needed to order it which was going to be ready by monday, 24 December. On Monday 24 December I called about 3 times doing follow-up and Catheline Moodley promised to call me back who didn't, also spoke to Thabiso who promised to send an email to the Manager who will attend my complain & call back but that didn't happen, last person that I spoke to was Wandile who also said he will lodge a complain. What frustrate me the most was that I made a quotation in time as I was aware of the holidays and avoiding the risk of driving around without a window, and have spent more than R150 on airtime just to sort this out. PG Glass Claim 3441394

Good Day

Claim 3441394 was registered on the 8th of November 2018 with Alberton branch. Insurance approved my claim and I got communication from branch that I should bring car for fitment on the 12/11/2018 which I did…but it turned out that they had ordered wrong glass / windscreen.
I was told to come back on the 13/11/2018…which I did, and was told that glass had not been delivered.

I indicated my disappointment with service, poor communication as well. I made consultant aware that when they eventually get right material then I would not be expected to pay full excess amount (R500). I drove from Bedfordview to Alberton twice for nothing, and I wasted my fuel. Someone has to pay for the fuel I wasted and its definitely not me.

I just got a call now from consultant from Alberton branch and she told me that if Im not willing to pay then they are cancelling my claim. This is ridiculous, I waited for two weeks and wasted my fuel.
Please address this and get back to me

PG Glass Replacement of 2 windows at my house

Your Motana branch service is shocking. Takes from 1 Oct till today and 2 small windows are still not replaced. I paid on 2 Oct the quote. They indicated the e-glass will take 5 - 7 days. Person - Memory Modiba and Shirley very incompetent. Promise to phone back and does not phone back. I am very disappointed in the whole experience with PG Glass Montana

PG Glass Pricing

These guys are the biggest con Artists in South Africa.
They Quoted me R 12000.00 for a new windscreen for my Alfa Romeo.
I later got a quote for new windscreen from the Agents at R 3700.00
These guys are putting on a R 9 000 mark up on a windscreen. (They buy generic from Shaterprufe.)

They also are charging R 2500.00 to fit the windscreen.
Glassfit charges R 650.00.

I would recommend that you don't bother with these thieves and go straight to their competition.
