PG Glass Car windscreen

On the 25th of August 2018 i went to PG Glass wonderboom to change my windscreen, when I got there they told me that they have been trying to get hold of me during the week. They told me that the quote which was provided excluded the top rubber had to buy a new one. Monday afternoon I took my car to the car wash where they removed the tapes which were supporting the rubbers and the windscreen. On my way home the top rubber became lose and was hanging on the windscreen, had to put on a new tape. I called them on Tuesday and told them what had happened and they asked me to bring the car back. Took the car back on the 31st September 2018 they asked the day who worked on my car to fix it and he just applied the black silicon to the top rubber and the side rubber are also not fitted property and he just told me that next time I need to get new rubbers.

PG Glass New front windscreen

After fitting a new front windscreen at The Vereeniging branch, initial on collection I was not very happy as my car inside was dirty full off all the old scraps / silicone removed from the old widescreen, I also notice that they have used my side panels of the doors as steps to stand on and have scratch my panels. I was very upset and complaint. The guy cleaned the panels and I left. I have received a call afterwards from the branch and the apologised. After one week the sensor that must be attached to the windscreen kept on coming loose. Today I went back and complaint, only to notice this was put back with a few scraps of double sided tape. The guy removed the double-sided tape and stick it again with double sided tape but failed to replace the cover, after struggling for about 30min someone else tried to place the cover back only to notice the initial guy is standing on my side panels again, I totally flipped and told the guy not to do that ever again. I asked the guy in my vehicle just to leave it, that I'm done and I'm going. To which he replied in Afrikaans to me " Vat jou kar en fokoff" think this is totally unacceptable and I will never in my life again support PG glass.

PG Glass Mobile unit arrangements

This my second claim with PG auto glass Boksburg / Mobile Unit and both have been a disaster. The claim currenlty being handled was scheduled for the 30th July and its now the 24 August and still has not been done. First of all when you phone you have to hold for 2 days before someone answers and then when you finally reach someone they have no idea whats going on. the mobile unit contacted me few weeks ago to schedule the fitment, they then cancelled because they did not have stock. The appointment was rescheduled for this Saturday the the 25th August and when i phoned earlier to make sure everything is still on track the lady said the appointment was scheduled for today. Another mistake on PG Glass side. after this claim i am going to tell my insurer i do not want any business again to do with PG auto glass. This is ridiculous

PG Glass Service complaint regarding pg glass boksburg

On the 23-03-2018 I took my vw up to pg glass Boksburg to replace a windscreen as per our appointment. They took the vehicle in to do the replacement and approximately 2 hours later they were done and my vehicle was ready.

They gave me back my car keys but did not do a post vehicle inspection with me. I drove about 100km then when I checked my vehicle I noticed that they broke the windscreen frame and did not inform me about it. Called them back and the said they will call me back however they never did until I made a report on their website. I went back and they promised to fix my car after 10 to 15 days and m still waiting. They keep making promises they can't fulfill to this day

PG Glass Windscreen damage

Good day,

This morning 20/03/2018 around 9:00 I went to PG Glass Midrand to get my chipped windscreen repaired.

The damage was much smaller than a ten cents coin as they clearly displayed on their advert in the office. I was confident it would take a few minutes to seal the chip. There was no crack on the windscreen at all. A few minutes later the sales lady who was assisting me said there is a problem with my windscreen and when I went to check, there was now a 300mm long crack on my windscreen and I was informed I had to replace the windscreen. I then called my insurance who said I must pay an access of R 750, 00.

I feel very aggrieved about the service which I thought was going to solve the chip as PG Glass is a reputable company and I did not expect that my windscreen would crack seeing that the company is experienced in fixing cracks.

Please advise me what recourse I have against PG Glass to resolve my problem.

PG Glass Windscreen glass for a renault megane

They first came with the wrong windscreen had to wait few days before they came back with thre right windscreen...They fitted a windscreen on my vehicle... and after installation they notice it had a magnifying glare to it and wouldnt be appropiate to drive with, they said theyl bring another one... its been weeks since and during that time i kept phoning to find out whats going on, waiting for them to return my calls and none was return ...weeks later and finally they got my windscreen ...they had just fitted it today and they fit it on skew ... no one answers your calls or returns your call ... why the hell is pg glass gone so useless...pathetic service

PG Glass Service complaint edenvale - vasco masanegza

Since the 3 January I have been trying to get someone to come out to our property to come and give us a quote and advise on two installations. After a week phoning everyday and sending a follow-up email; eventually someone called me back. They book a day but can't give a time which is very unprofessional taking into consideration that people have job and responsibilities. Then they promised to call us in the morning to tell us when they will be able to assist us. That also didn't happen. They phoned when they were in the street and I contacted Nardus (who was at home waiting for you) to go out and open the gate. (Because we are building the intercom is not working yet and the number is not up.) They didn't even wait I just got a call to say they left and will maybe come back between 4-5pm? Which they did. Nerds explained to them in detail what we are looking for and what do they advise. Then I received a call from VASCO asking what do I want and what should he quote me on? I was blown away - really. After everything you have no idea what we are looking for. Obviously, I'm upset because how do you quote on someone you have no idea what you are quoting on and why do you come out to give advise and then don't provide details. So he told me do I want help or not and that I can phone Head office and lay a complaint he don't care. I'm also welcome to phone his boss that is on holiday; Andre Jansen van Rensburg. It is very clear why Edenvale PG service is so excruciating horrible and this was such a painful experience if that is that attitude of your staff.
I was told by a friend if PTA to use PG Glass for the glass and aluminum work we need that the service/product and price was great but clearly that it not the same for JHB. I'm very disappointing. I also lost trust and/or have faith in your workmanship and that you will be able to delivery the correct and suitable product to us. We also requested a quote for a shower...

Hopefully at head office you will have better customer service integrity and make work of your employees and branches with attitudes like this. you are reliant on customer for your business and these types of situations will leave you with no customer and no business.

PG Glass No service delivery

I was at wonderboom last week for an outsurancce vehicle inspection. I was informed that it would cost R300. So I left without the inspection. I spoke to my insurance and they spoke to the branch. Now I'm literally sitting here again, filled in the form and I'm being blatantly ignored. The receptionist was quite nice. But from there, I've been waiting almost an hour

PG Glass pg glass quotation process unethical

Frustrating process to get a quote to replace a quarter glass on car.

The issue is:
Whenever I request the order to be placed with Audi based on the quote provided, I am told by the consultant that either additional information is required or in two instances, I cannot take up the order because the price on the quation is incorrect.

I drove to PG Glass premises to make sure that they get all the information they need from me but still I am requested to provide pictuures and describe the problem.

I am really frustrated but Audi suggested I order with VW instead.

I just want you to be aware of this issue.

PG Glass Damage on my vehicle

I'm very disappointed with PG glass Centurion as they have damaged my vehicle due to negligence instead of assisting me to repair it, the manager told me that I took the car there at my own risk. I had assumed that they were professional however I was wrong and I will never take my car there again unless someone takes accountability for the damaged caused. I have proof from Mercedes that PG glass caused the damage. No apology or feedback from them this is really disturbing I will make sure my family, friends and everyone on my social media profile are aware of this so the can alternative companies... #disgusted to say the least

PG Glass bmw windscreen replacement

Morning

I have had my vehicle's (XHL557GP) windscreen replaced at PG glass Silver Lakes.

Thereafter the mirror that is affixed to the windscreen has been vibrating as if one drive on a gravel road?

I reported it almost 2 months ago to said shop who promised to contact a specialist and that they will revert back to me.

Needless to say, to date I have not received any feedback.

PG Glass Damaged my paint on vehicle

Hi I been struggling over 3 months now with pg glass I had a windscreen replaced were the fitters came to
My work in Boksburg and replaced it they damaged the paint and said it must be the paint job that wasn't done properly . I phoned Kim from the mobile department which spoke to the fitters they took pics and send them to Kim, was told the matter would get fixed, then I kept calling Kim and never got hold of her then was put in contact with Sulie Bhikhoo he said must of been a old car or resprayed which I told him none of those, I had to forward him all details were I bought car and receipt that it was bought new ? I was asked by Sulie Bhikhoo to take my car to Hyundai Boksburg were it was taken to a
Panel beater for inspection as its a was a new car bought Im 2012 and never been resprayed which panel beater send Sulie report its original paint job, when I phoned Sulie numerous times nothing was done, and all he wud say is it's Hyundai fault not pg glass, as he says he has replaced thousands of windscreen and its never happened, well let's be fair my car had no damage now it's damaged after Pg glass replaced my windscreen so never say never there is a first time for any think to happen so in all fairness pg glass must fix this because if it happens any were else that company would be responsible

PG Glass Windscreen replacement

On Thursday morning 24/8 I called PGGlass Centurion giving them my insurance details and requesting the replacement of two cracked windscreens on my vehicles. Mentioned the replacement on the BMW x4 as urgent since I needed the vehicle to go to Durban over the weekend. Received two reference nrs 3098860 and 3896858. When by late Friday morning I heard nothing I called again to be told they only have the authorization for the Amarok. I requested them to post haste get the other authorization as I needed the vehicle to be repaired that day. When by late afternoon I heard nothing from the mobile unit I phoned PG and cancelled both claims. I also advised my insurers accordingly . After cancellation I received a call from PG saying they now have authorization.. Told them I am no longer interested being totally disappointed with the service and have cancelled whereupon they apologized and also logged the cancellation.
Unfortunately this is not the first time I have experienced unsatisfactory service from PG glass Regards Dr van Deventer

PG Glass Unethical behaviour

on the 25th of July i went to PG Glass vanderbijlpark to get my windscreen replaced . upon my arrival there were 2 consultants on the phone i waited to be called to the counter. when i was at the counter a phone rang a landline (mariska) picked it up leaving me there and after she started playing with her mobile phone ignoring me. we are all paying customers and should be treated with respect and dignity. i must give thank to lena Ndaba who attended to me very professionally

PG Glass Patio door glass replacement

The branch involved is PG Glass Hartbeespoort.
I called to have a glass replaced in my patio door. The branch was very helpful at first and the workman arrived when they were scheduled to.

My domestic worker let them in and by the time we came home from work they were already putting the fixed door back. I noticed that the patio door key was missing and it was definately there when we left in the morning as we had locked up the night before.

The only place it could have gone missing was in transit or on the removal of the door or at the factory as the key permanently sat in the lock at home as the door faced onto the road and needed to be locked at night.

I called the office and the lady Marlise was very apologetic and said she would look into it.

I called the next day to follow up and she abruptly changed her tune and told me that PG staff were not allowed to take doors with keys in as that was the policy. I said but how does she know that they did not do it - she very rudely said she wanted nothing to do with it and I must take it up with the labourer, he can pay for a new key as he was the one who removed the door. I said how can she not take responsiblity for her staff and how was I to be reassured that their staff had not taken the keys with the intention of breaking back into my house at a later date. She once again rudely stated that it was not her problem.

All I wanted them to do was replace the key (or the lock if that was even necessary). I am shocked, we are business owners and if ever doubt is placed on the performance of our business we always take responsibility, whether we belief we are right or not.

On the Excess note that I had to sign I wrote in big letter "KEY TO DOOR MISSING"

I cannot belief the response and the rude disinterest in our dilemma.

PG Glass Service

On Sunday 11/06/2017 I had a break-in at my business in Polokwane, Limpopo 4 windows and a glass door was broken that needed replacement. I called your call center number [protected] @ 8:00 am and asked the call center person if they had a 24/7 agent in the Polokwane region and was told yes. I explained to him what needed to be done and he gave me a reference number: 3045314 and told me they will contact me shortly and hour later I still had not got a call from the agents in Polokwane. I called the call center again ''I'm sorry ill get hold of them'' he called me back and told me they will call me just now that went on for a whole day of me calling every hour spoke to 3 different consultants and I was only informed at 3 that the call center in fact cant get hold of the people in Polokwane, I find this unacceptable If you advertise a 24/7 service you need to provide it especially that I called so many time and had I been told the sencond time I called they not answering I would have been in a position to make another plan but was only told at 3 on a Sunday afternoon.. Then got the call from PG Glass Polokwane this morning to come and assist.

PG Glass Poor workmanship/cheap quality windscreen

Took my Ford Ranger back to the dealer Eastern Cape Motors in North End Port Elizabeth which has been recalled for Windscreen replacement.PG Glass Newton Park was given the job to replace my windscreen and to my surprise the windscreen didnt even last 24hours it cracked in the middle and took the bakkie personally to PG Glass after being reffered by Eastern cape motors and surpringly this stupid guy who attended to me told me its a chip causing the crack, why can't companies man-up enough to take the responsibility of their poor workmanship than coming up with stupid reasoning and blame the car owner.Is it a money making scheme of PG Glass trying to make money through claimining from insurance companies?

Hi I approach to pg glass in pinetown durban. It was a simple cracked window replacement. They ask me to pay first, I did. They cam and checked then said they are not capable, cant do the replacement, they ll refund. I said fine on 19 dec. Today 16 april and still waiting. I have seen them about 5 times each and every time they say it will be done today. They are firm to charge lazy to give

PG Glass Late /poor service

Good day.

To start with I lodge a claim with my insurance company to replace the back window on my vehicle17th March 2016. My insurance company said PG Glass will handle the claim for me and will be in contact. needless to say between me and my wife we have been phoning endlessly to get a reply from PG in Boksburg.

First they told me that the window will take 2 working days from the 17th March 2016 to be delivered then installation will be arranged. it is now 24th March 2016. I complained by my insurance company after phoning PG without answer and this was not the first time I had no one answer.

Pg said the window was received Yesterday but for some reason never booked in on the system. Regardless of this I want my window installed and arranged for them to do installation today but for some reason I realized they never asked for my address. Once again I had to phone back half and hour before installation to give them my address, time was ticking and nobody was phoning to confirm an address, PG glass just assumed that my home address will do. Now is there no one to manage the process. I can bet you if I waited until they where supposed to be there my window would not be in today( they not here yet) .

To be honest if this is how a business is managed then my insurance company (out surance) needs to wake up and find another supplier.

PG Glass Poor service delivery

I completed a claim to have my Glass sliding door replaced on Saturday 06 Feb where they sent me confirmation just waiting for the insurance to approve, then only managed to get the go ahead from Tuesday 09 Feb, where Anthony confirmed that it will be done on Wednesday 10 Feb as his guys were fully booked, then the agent did not have power on his current site and was running late and could not attend to me, i was then asked if it can be done on Saturday 13 Feb, now to sit with a Glass door with no Glass places a Risk on me and my wife as well as damaged due to the weather, I refused to wait till Saturday, Anthony then told me that it would be done today Thursday morning as they load the glass at 8:00 am i can them expect them from 9:00 am I am still waiting for their call and it is 12:56 pm, looks like he is really going to try his luck and push this for Saturday if i am lucky, I personally don't think they are taking customer service seriously and expect the customer to wait for them to one day pitch up.
