My husband wanted to surprise me with this restaurant that he had been telling me about and on Valentine's Day 2008 he finally took me with another couple the location is in GA and we live in FL when we got there the line was so outrageously long they were only seating large parties so our party got with two other couples so that we can get inside and be seated quickly. once inside the silverware on the table was filthy and we requested plastic silverware or some hot water so that we could clean them ourselves the server told us that didn't have plasticware and that we couldn't have hot water because they were making tea so she took our drink orders and two of us ordered diet pepsi and the others ordered sweet tea diet pepsi was the only drinks to make it to the table we then decided to go to the buffet line to see what was being offered on the choices was very minimal so two of four people party got plates and begin to try to make a complete meal from the buffet bar and the other two couples that we met in line only two of them attempted the buffet bar now thrity minutes have passed since we last seen our server so there was another one who past by and we got her attention and told her that we were still waiting on drinks and she said she will find our server so we said ok then ten minutes later our server came back and there was no drinks for the people who didn't get drinks and also no hot water to clean the silverware so now we begin to get annoyed and someone asked her how long does it take to make tea so she said she will go and check for us 5 minutes later she came back and said it will be ten minutes so the drinkless people said can we get some water or something else? so she roled her eyes and left and she brought back the water and she returned with the water and some asked her if she was ok and she said NO I have been here all day and I'm tired so we told her she need to let the manager know because with service like that it will be hard to give her a tip and before she left the table someone requested some napkins and she took some off a table that people recently left and table was not cleaned yet and threw them on the table so then we asked to speak to the manager and we told her the whole story from above and then we explained that 4 of the 8 people at our table didn't eat due to the various reasons dirty silverware and lack of food on the buffet bar and that 6 people never received their drink had to settle for water so she told us that they have been there all day and that they are very tired they have been busy all day so we told her that wasn't our problem they knew it was a busy holiday they should have staffed the employees accordingly and we drove a long way to try this place because it was recommended to us and if you are paying 49.95 for all-u-can eat seafood at least have the bar stocked with food so she said ok she was going to get our tickets ready so she was gone from 15-20 minutes and came back with a police officer and said that we refused to pay and we were being disruptive and rude to all the servers so of course we all got upset because she sat right in our face and started to lie and the police officer didn't even want to hear what we had to say and when one of us tried to speak to him he told us to shut-up so none the less we were a long way from home so my husband paid for us and the other couple that was with us because he felt so bad that we drove up for such horrible service and disrespect so we spent over two hundred dollars for food and drinks that two of us never recieved in summary IF YOU WANT DIRTY SILVERWARE AND TO PAY TO GET LIED ON AND DISRESPECTED PLEASE GO TO
