PC Richard & Son Bosch dishwasher

Dishwasher I purchased was brand new
Also purchased the extended warranty for 5 years.
Dishwasher stoped working 2 weeks ago
Only device date available for service
Was in 26 days.
Service department keeps giving me phone tag games and broken dishwasher smelling up my whole house? I have spend thousand
If dollars with this company.
2 weeks gone by and the 1 company that use for service still not able to get here sooner
Waiting 26 days for service of a bosh dishwasher is totally unacceptable,
I have been with P.C. for over 20 years.
Valued customer lost. I will no longer give my business to them and will let all my friends know how they help there customers with expensive warranties.
Buyer be aware, they do not service,
They send service calls to incompetent companies.
Negative reviews will be placed on all platforms.

PC Richard & Son Extended warranty

In March of 2018 I purchased a Kitchenaid double oven.in November of 2019 I had a problem and called service at P C Richards. They came right away and contacted Kitchenaid. The problem was un fixable so Kitchenaid replaced the ovens. When I bought the ovens I bought a ten year extended warranty for 400.00 dollars. I assumed it could be transferred to the new ovens at a prorated rate. I call the salesman I delt with at P C Richards and was told he would look into it. I did not hear back so I called again, He sounded like the warranty could not be transferred because the new ovens came directly from Kitchenaid but said he would check further and get back to me. I waited and called again several days later and again was told he would get back to me. I am still waiting. I have always bought my appliances from P C Richards. I got them from New York before there was a store in Ct. Tvs also. I am in the process of replacing my kitchen and the ovens were the first appliance I bought. I was going to get a Stove top, refrigerator and dishwasher from Pc Richards but am disappointed that I did not rec. the courtesy of a phone call. If I wanted bad service I would have gone to a big box store or building supply chain, but I chose PCRICHARDS like I have always done for 15 years.

PC Richard & Son delivery

Upon delivery of a standard stove 1/7/19, delivery men stated they could not get stove past front gate entering property and they took stove back. Gate has been there for more than 60 years and larger appliances have past through same gate. Call customer service without much help, they said someone would contact me which they never did. I contacted the store I purchased the stove from and was informed the driver stated he couldn't get it past the threshold. Neither the gate or threshold has decreased in size or changed. I rescheduled stove delivery for saturday

PC Richard & Son failed installation of washing machine and unprofessional conduct taking advantage of elderly customer

Date of Incident - Dec 26, 2019. Invoice [protected]
I accompanied by 81-year old Mom to purchase a washing machine at PC Richard store in Wayne, NJ (store 41). My family has always been a loyal buyer of PC Richard & Son, in Wayne and Paramus, NJ stores; always counted on their honesty and customer loyalty. In this case, we did not receive either one and will not return as a customer. It was apparent that the salesman's foucus was to increase his commission vs. listening to customer. When asked to compare a less another model that was clearly less expensive, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, "there was no comparison". He had no regard to fact that my mom needed a basic washing machine. She lives alone and has limited funds. Additionally, when asked if there was option for free installation as I thought competitors offered free installation, he said no. I came to find out later that Best Buy had the same unit and free installation. I called customer service and let them know about Best Buy. They called the salesman who said that Best Buy would charge more for extras; which was untrue. Ultimately, the store manager approved the free installation after back-n-forth on phone and me suggesting that I would cancel the order.

The delivery was also not satisfactory. The installers did not complete the install. They were not able to remove the old house and stated "it was stuck and they did not have WD-40 to loosen it". They also did not re-install the outside door properly (they needed to remove it to make room for the washing machine). I had to call them to return to the my mom's house to install it correctly.

PC Richard & Son delivery scheduling

I went to the North Haven, CT store for a warranty replacement deselection. Started with Irving who then handed me off without notice toRay who after the transaction was done I didn't mind at all - Ray has excellent customer service skills and should be acknowledged! However, I was scheduled for a Sunday delivery - 2 days post Friday selection/purchase. On Sunday I call the store asking about delivery time since I did not receive a delivery confirmation and the female who answered said they would call me 30 min prior to arrival without asking any verifying info - she has no clue who I was. At 5pm, I call the store again, speak with Ray who verified that the scheduling did not occur and proceeded to schedule me for the following Saturday Am per my availability. It's now 12 noon, no delivery. The 2 day delivery is a joke. And the customer service experience leave MUCH to be desired! There is no accountability and the agents (not Ray) truly do not feel the need to represent PC Richards best experience nor embrace customer return/ loyalty. I will not recommend this company. Sad, my experience from 5 years ago was excellent.

PC Richard & Son delivery of a stacked washer /dryer

On November 29th (Friday) the W/D that I ordered was delivered and the dryer was severely damaged. The window of time they gave to be delivered was 10:00 - 2:00 pm and they arrived at 2:30 (1/2 hour past the windowed time) I called my salesperson who apologized and he promised delivery of a new dryer the following Monday. Monday comes and my delivery window was again 10:00 - 2:00. At 2:30 they still hadn't arrived so I called my salesperson and he said they were running late and that they would call when they were on there way. NO CALL and at 5:00 pm my salesperson calls me to tell me they weren't coming because my building doesn't allow deliveries after 5:00 and that my front desk wouldn't let them in. I checked with my front desk and they said that they were never here. I then reschedule for the following Thursday and promised a morning delivery. I took the morning off from work to allow for this. They now tell me my window is 1:00-5:00. I need to word this afternoon. PC Richard's Delivery SUCKS as far as I'm concerned and I feel I deserve some sort of compensation.

PC Richard & Son washing machine

tech. came out wednesday nov. 13th. took ten minutes to dianose the problem. Did not have the part needed and had to order it. Said it would take 24 hours to gat it and he would be back by Friday Nov. 15th or the latest Monday the 18th. Got a message from p.c.richard that said the first available appointment to replace the part was Nov. 21st.
called to get an earlier time and was told that the 21st was the only date they had. we have already spent $40.00 going to the laundromat. The service call is $140.00 plus 100.00 for the part. I am a long time customer and have spent thousands of dollars at p.c. ricahrd and sons. This service is unacceptable and puts into question my continued loyalty to the company!

PC Richard & Son delivery service

This is unexceptable. This is the second time this week your company have made deliveries and left behind the packing materials in front of my home. Please keep in mind both times I was not receiving any deliveries, they were both for the neighbor across the street. Please send someone to clean up the mess they left. We are not responsible for cleaning up after your employees. I also called Customer service and was hung up on.

PC Richard & Son installation service for car remote starter

This happened at the P.C.Richardson location in Wayne NJ, where I got an appointment to install my car remote starter on Nov 15 at 3:30 p.m . When I reached the installation facility, the guy came out and asked me to take the car inside . After taking the car inside, the guy started verifying my appointment details and informed me that the some of the details for my car configuration were not correct, as it was setup as manual key ignition whereas my car was a push button start . He then told me that he had already prepped up some part of the wiring harness with the older manual configuration and has to redo the wiring again and will take more time . I told him that I mentioned this multiple times during my purchase that mine was a push button start . It must have been a miss with whoever setup the appointment as I remember no-one cared to ask me about this detail while setting up the appointment .He then asked me to wait and that he will call me when the work is done. He called me almost around 5:50 p.m and when I was walking in guy seemed in a lot of rush to get things in hand and leave . To my surprise, actually these were his exact words " I had to work almost and extra hour off 5 p.m which he is not getting paid for because of me who has given him the wrong [censored]. He then told that he confirmed with someone (not sure who)that I was one who gave the wrong information " .I again told him, it must have been the mistake of the scheduler since he never bothered to ask me about my exact car details.

PC Richard & Son poor customer service

On october 26 I accompanied my mother to pc richards to purchase a single wall oven. (note there is a new lowe's literally within walking distance. At 94 my mother chose to continue with pc. That decision required a 15 minute drive.

Arriving at pc, we walked in and it seemed clear to me that an employee looked at us and turned away. We continued to walk to the rear of the store noticing a group of 3 employees standing together. We spent about 4 minutes looking for the oven unit. We saw none. We walked out of the store with no acknowledgement of our presence! Unacceptable, especially with a competitor on the next block from my home!

Phoned pc customer service the same afternoon, obviously reporting the incident to an apologetic employee. As of this writing I have yet to receive a response although I was assured that the phone call would suffice; written contact would not be necessary.

PC Richard & Son treatment of the manager

On 9/27/19 I went into the store to buy a mattress about 7.30 to 8.30 pm I told the sales guy that I only have 1700$ to work with the items came to about 1775 to 1800$ the sales guy said he is going to speak to the manager and see what he can do, there was a customer present and the manager asked if I only have 1700 why I choose something for more, it is not what he said but it is how he said it, I always buy at pc richards I walk out of the store upset, he came outside and tried to talk with me but I left I went to another store at bay plaza and buy a mattress at another pc richards store, at this moment I do not intend to shop at pc richards again,

PC Richard & Son Washing machine

Have a service contract for a basic Whirlpool washing machine and have been waiting for a part for almost 2 weeks now with no date of when this will be in. Have been in constant contact with PC Richards as well as they company they outsource "Dependable Service" and neither has been any help in rectifying this situation. Parts should not have to be shipped from manufacturers that are not expedited. I've purchased all my appliances from PC Richards for 30 years and due to their poor customer service I will not EVER purchase from them. I will be sure to make sure everyone I know is aware of their poor service. They coerce you into purchasing a service contract but it takes forever to fix the appliance. I am very disappointed in PC Richards.

PC Richard & Son dryer repair

Yesterday we had our new dryer serviced for the third time. The service tech did not have the parts need to fix our machine and in addition tried to blame our issue on a dryer vent blockage on a brand new construction home. Also he tried to push a service company to come clean our dryer vent. Later that evening my wife did a load of laundry only to have our washer machine leak and flood out our laundry room foyer and garage. We had to have a remediation company come to clean and dry our our down stairs. It was determined that the service technician while moving the washer and dryer knocked out the drain for the washer machine which caused the flood. We need PC Richards insurance information to make a claim for the damage that was caused by PC Richard's negligent service technician.

PC Richard & Son repair of out of warranty purchase - overkill

Four years after purchasing a GE Convection Double Oven from PC Richard & Son, one of the burner units blew and the heat indicator light remained on. I reached out to PC Richard Customer Service, on approximately 10/2/19 for assistance in repair. I was informed by a male customer service agent that a serviceman would be dispatched. I then asked if I could use my PC Richard Charge Card for payment. I was told, yes.

On 10/9/19, GE Home Repair(Tom) arrived at my home, as promised, during the window hours and replaced one burner unit. GE Factory Replacement Part#WB30X24111. I was told these parts are very expensive as he had replaced 3 alone, this week. I was told during my initial call to PC Richard that I could not use my PC Richard Card for the form of payment and he double- checked to make sure. I indicated I would use a check, figuring the replacement would be somewhere around 180 dollars. Was I ever wrong.

How disappointing to be a loyal customer to PC Richard and buy all your major appliances from them and computers, only to be given inaccurate information to start out with. Their customer service people I dealt with need additional training on company procedures and how to listen to a customer. The two people I talked with were unprofessional, borderline rude and didn't know policy.

When the job was completed, I was given a bill of $286.48. This was after the repair man started somewhere in the 330 dollar range. He came down to the lower price, "helping me the best her could." Reluctantly, I paid the $286.48 charge, which represented almost 1/3 of the value of the stove that I bought on sale. The repairman tried to use my PC Richard Charge Card as a form of payment but it was not accepted as a legitimate form of payment.

After the repairman left, I googled the GE Part Number through the GE Factory to see that I could have purchased the unit for about $80.00. Amazon sells the unit for $50.00. This meant, I paid a repairman dispatched by PC Richard over 200 dollars for a service call and labor of approximately 15 minutes. Totally over-kill and more than what you would pay a doctor for a visit, or a specialized personal caregiver as an Orthopedic doctor.

I called PC Richard and discussed my disappointment with "Laura" in Customer Service. She believed the charges were what GE Home service deserved and really had little concern over my disappointment with GE Home Repair, who was dispatched by PC Richard. In fact, somewhere during the conversation, she muted me out and there was dead silence until she returned. (Total indifference to a customer complaint)She ended the indifferent reaction to my complaint by saying, "all your remarks have been turned over to my supervisor."

In the future, PC Richard needs to give a customer an idea of what cost he may be exposed to, the correct method of payment to utilize and back the customer after the sale. Even though GE Home Service was dispatched, PC Richard owed me some avenue of support and explanation as to why one stove unit costs almost 300 dollars.

I feel totally taken on this repair and feel totally left out in the cold by PC Richard from the first telephone call to the completed repair. Very poor customer service and support.

PC Richard & Son rowenta professional steam iron

On August 29, 2019 I purchased a Rowenta Iron from P.C. Richards & Son located at 239-10 Linden Boulevard, Elmont, NY 11003 for $86.89. That same day I saw that same Rowenta Iron advertised at Target for $49.00. I immediately sent this information to a survey sent to me from P.C. Richards concerning my purchase. On September 4, 2019 at 10:45 AM I received a call (516 731-4422) from someone who said he was a Manager at the P.C. Richards where I made the purchase. He informed me that he investigated my claim and verified that Target did advertise the exact same iron for $45.00. He further explained that although Target had made an error on the advertised price...he would credit the difference to my credit card because of P.C. Richards price match guarantee. Today is September 14, 2019 and I have not received any credit on my AMEX from P.C. Richards. To make a commitment to a customer and then not keep it is terrible customer service. Because of this lie, P.C. Richards HAS LOST A REPEAT CUSTOMER.

PC Richard & Son maytag refrigerator

February 11 I purchased a brand new refrigerator paid $800 in June I called for a replacement my fridge wasn't cooling, the freezer was freezing to much. I have not had a refrigerator in two week all my food has gone bad I have two infant I have two year warranty on my fridge and P.C. Richard doesn't want to replace my fridge. I just brought this fridge it wasn't for free I want another brand I need my god damn refrigerator

PC Richard & Son customer service & delivery

Paid for a GE stove to be delivered. I informed person taking my order that a CIO had to be sent before stove was to come. It wasn't sent. I called & spoke to someone. Worker said it was sent. Driver came with item & was sent back.CIO wasn't sent.

CIO was sent!

Driver had very bad language. Curse words just flying out his mouth(driver with all the paperwork)

I won't be buying from PCRICHARDS again. Even items to be carried out

PC Richard & Son samsung dryer/ service appointment

I have been trying to schedule a service call for over a week now due to the motor going in my dryer. The first scheduled appt to do the repair they were supposed to come between 7am -12pm and never showed up or bothered to call. I called that same day and was told that they are extremely busy and i would have to wait till the following week so i scheduled another appointment in the same time frame that same evening i get a call saying they will be there between 12pm-5pm which was not the time slot i chose. I called the next morning and was told there is nothing they can do but possibly try to come before 3 being i had to leave by 3pm and yet again no one was able to come. I called again the next morning to schedule now my 3rd appointment and was told again they are busy and i will have to wait another week. I understand that this is a busy time but they have now cost me time and money lost at work and having to pay to use the laundry mat. This is absolutely ridiculous especially being none of the missed appointments were due to me not being home or having to cancel. I tried being patient but they have now pushed me to writing this complaint. I will never again buy from P.C. Richards due to their customer service and i will also be warning people how horrible my experience was. Such a shame because my family had shopped with them for over 20 years. They need to be more accommodating when they are the reason for the service call not being made !

PC Richard & Son poor customer service

My husband and I went to the PC Richards in Gateway Mall. After showing Joel, the salesman, pictures of the outlet we had, he sold us and air conditioner (Friedrich) that he said would be compatible and we arranged for delivery. When the air conditioner was delivered, we were told the a/c required a 220 outlet and ours was a 110. Instead of taking the a/c, they left it in the sleeve and advised my husband they would retrieve it when they delivered an a/c that was compatible advising him that PC had the same a/c compatible with a 110 outlet, -- they did not. Thereafter, I contacted Joel advising him that the a/c was not compatible. After speaking with Joel, I asked to speak to the store manager, Tristen. I explained the issue to Tristan and that the a/c was still in the window sleeve where PC's delivery driver had left it and he advised that he would make arrangements for the PC to be picked up. That was 5 days ago and I have not heard from Tristen of anyone from PC regarding picking up the a/c and refunding us for the purchase.

PC Richard & Son washing machine

i and my wife purchased A washing machine invoice #[protected] the salesman told me and my wife they would install the washing machine and take the old 1out.it was very important because we are SENIORS CITizens.Ihave been doing biz with PC richards for over 20yrs. the delivery men disconnected my washing machine and left leaving me and my wife with water dripping and a washing machine that did not work. we meaning I and wife are not in the best of health. so i PAID $350n to a maintaince man to fix my machine and stop the leaking so my wife would not get upset.i called customer service the told me someone would call me before 6:00 never received the call. the manger told me he got BUSY. The salemans name is NASSAR 5377 seniors are not suppose to be treated like THIS. especially after 20 yrs of LOYALTY. please make this right. thank U.
