PC Richard & Son - the salesman joe botros jr. 8246 and appliance manager pat both agreed that that would be fine.

We recently negotiated to purchase three appliances from paramus store for a kitchen remodel. We explained that we would make the purchase, but would not need the items delivered for 4 to 6 weeks. The salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 and appliance manager Pat both agreed that that would be fine.

I had just opened an equity line of credit and had not yet received my debit card would not be acceptable for a $6000 purchase, but since we would not be taking delivery for at least 4 weeks, I assumed the starter would be acceptable. I was wrong. The appliance manager Pat advised that it was against company policy The appliance manager Pat and the salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 said that would be fine and that they would both be there at that time.

To be doubly sure that it would be accepted, I called the store They said it was at the manager's discretion, but after speaking to three employees and explaining that I had made arrangements with the appliance manager Pat, I was told it would not be a problem

PC Richard & Son - please do not buy major appliances from pc richard & son.

I am unsatisfied with the product that PC Richard & Son sold to me. I purchased a very expensive LG regridgerator a year ago and already the motor went bad. I called to have a service technician fix it and they sent a technition over 4 days later. When the technician arrived, he assessed the problem and ordered the part replacement. For some reason, PC Richard & Son decided to have the part delivered directly to my house. And what did the geniuses deliver? A fridge door replacement. When the tech returned to fix the fridge it was of course a waste of time because he didn't have a motor replacement to work with, he had a door.
I was so upset that I called the service department to complain again. They were so embarrassed by the mistake, that they said they would give me a new fridge but I would need to purchase a new warranty contract as a result. I complained that I already have a 10yr warranty and this should still be active since the fridge is only 1 year old. They said replacing the fridge means ending my contract. I was so upset. I had no choice but to opt to wait longer for them to order the correct part and wait for the technician to fix the fridge. It's been almost 3weeks without a working fridge in this heat wave and I lost a lot of food thanks to pc richards! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM PC RICHARD & SON ! YOU'RE BETTER OFF AT SEARS!

PC Richard & Son - my wife and I spent more than $10, 000 on a sub zero refrigerator at the paramus store

Avoid these people like the plague! My bad star rating and doesn't represent my true assessment. My involvement with this company yielded a net negative value - a cost to me. Even a rating of zero would overstate my opinion.

My wife and I spent more than $10, 000 on a Sub Zero refrigerator at the Paramus store on 7/30/11. It was delivered two weeks late and had apparently been dropped and had multiple problems, including having both doors bashed in near the handles. The installer pleaded with us to allow him to leave it so that his boss could look at it the next day. We agreed and did not sign acceptance of the unit but his boss never showed.

I called our salesman George the next day and he informed me that they no longer carried Sub Zero and he couldn't get a new one to me. I told him I wanted a refund. Two days later I found another dealer who ordered a replacement for me. I called our salesman George again and asked him to pick up the unit and issue a refund to our credit card. This marked the beginning of a 6 week ordeal of phone calls and emails trying to get a refund. During that time we had no refrigerator since our old one had been removed and sent to a recycler. It only ended today, 10/15/11.

That is BS PC Richard still carries Sub Zero. You probably never should have let them leave it there and you should of called PC an spoke to George or spoke with a manager. You obvoiusly signed a sheet saying there were absolutely no returns on high end appliances but you ignored that!

PC Richard & Son - joe, nick s,& jea lee. never had contact with anyone here and will absolutely have no reason to shop there again.

The customer service here has to be the worst I've ever run into. I must have walked past 8 people that work here without even one of them even saying hi or if they could help me...sad

my wife and I had to get a dishwasher, we weren't in a huge hurry but we were in the market to make a decision for sure. We walked in paramus store, no welcome from the front desk, browsed past the nice refrigerators, nobody came over to ask what we were looking for. I then walked to the back of the first building and not one of the 5 people at the desks even looked up at me or made eye contact. Off to the second building with the dishwashers...four sales persons in this side the computer areaon the internet, and in the 20 mins standing there, no contact from anyone in that room either. We decided to leave and there were 3 employees on a smoke break outside the store, Joe, nick s, & jea lee. NEVER had contact with anyone here and will absolutely have no reason to shop there again. I've NOW seen multiple reviews just like this one.
I ended up a few miles away at Karl, s and ended up buying a dishwasher that evening

PC Richard & Son - there was a promotion for 0% interest for 24 months if I get an p c richard & son credit card managed by ge money.

I bought a 55 TV from p c richard & son. There was a promotion for 0% interest for 24 months if I get an p c richard & son credit card managed by GE Money.

I did not receive the card, I did not receive any conditions on that promotion. But I received the interest charge back to the first month after... 6 months.

It is the second time I have problems with GE Money. And the last time I do business with them. No mater what promotions they have!. They are false anyway.

Stay away from GE Money "services".

Filing a new complaint about
I went to PC Richard & son in paramus, and the remote car starter I wanted was backordered. I was suppossed to be in the following week and they would call when it came in. Since I didnt hear from them and it was 10 days later, i went to the Paramus store and they claim to have called. The manager James told me the installer wasnt working but he'd call me on Thursday to set up an appointment for installation. I didn't not hear from him until Monday and he says his first opening is a month away.

I hung up and called Best Buy - starter is in stock and can be installed 3 days from now. Hmmm...

P C Richard ans son took 4 days just to schedule my delivery date. Then when some of my appliances came they didn't deliver the refrigerator. I had to call them for them to tell me it was out of stock. When I bought the appliance 2 weeks prior. It also took another 2 weeks just to get my refrigerator...I finally have everything but I am tired and don't ever want to have to deal with them again. More...

PC Richard & Son - I bought a tv from joe botros jr. 8246. there was a promotion for 0% interest for 12 months.

I bought a TV from Joe Botros Jr. 8246. There was a promotion for 0% interest for 12 months if I get an P C Richard credit card managed by GE Money.

I did not receive the card, I did not receive any conditions on that promotion. But I received the interest charge back to the first month after ... 6 months.

It is the second time I have problems with GE Money. And the last time I do business with them. No mater what promotions they have!. They are false anyway.

I would stay away from their insane interest rates. As you can see from Nicole's computer sounding response GE doesn't honestly care about your business as well. Happy I have never dealt with both of these companies. I never will after reading the many posts tonight.

PC Richard & Son - I opened a credit card with joe botros jr. 8246 in dec. 2011 with 0% interest on transfers for one year.

I opened a credit card with Joe Botros Jr. 8246 in Dec. 2011 with 0% interest on transfers for one year. I programed my bank to automatically pay them online every month and the first payment was received and credited correctly by GE's computers. On the very next statement, GE declared that no payment was received in January 2012 and immediately hiked the interest from 0 to 26.99%. (All subsequent payments were processed correctly.) I called GE (twice) to report the "billing error", the second time with the confirmation codes in hand. GE customer service flatly refused to accept my call. I asked them to do a elementary computer search which could find the 'lost' payment in five minutes. I was told "That is strictly against company policy. You must submit a written letter with a bank transcript." I sent a letter and it was ignored, as I knew it would be. The moment that GE refused my call I knew the billing statement was a lie. (I know enough of computers to know that online banks don't make mistakes.) I trust that you know how a 'letter runaround scam' works. and I refuse to play this sucker game any further. I did some investigating that confirms my suspicion of fraud. The FBI told me that GE could have used the codes to find the 'lost' deposits in ten minutes. My bank informant explained that GE needed neither codes nor transcript to fix my account. GE has records of the money they received from my bank account and are refusing to consult those records, demanding a transcript under false pretenses.
On examining the evidence (I have documents) there is virtually no doubt that GE issued a false billing statement with the intent to steal, breach a contract under false pretenses and defame my character. (Their dishonest customer service policy removes all any doubt that the false statement might be an 'error'.) But note this: GE's obstruction of my report may be more than an "unfair billing practice": it is probably a criminal act. Most states (if not all) have laws about "misplaced funds", such as a check that is cashed but not properly credited to an account. The law obliges an honest company to restore a misplaced fund to its rightful owner by any means necessary, whether he complains or not. Any company who willfully interferes with such a report by a client with the intent to pocket the money is guilty of obstruction and theft. That is clearly GE's motive and such a dishonest customer service police shows this company capable of issuing false billing statements. It also shows that my case is not isolated: GE must be doing this to people on a systematic scale, by the hundreds or thousands. GE Money Bank is a criminal operation.
I submitted this case to the Office of Thrift Supervision (Dept. of the Treasury). I don't know their reaction yet.

PC Richard & Son - I wished I read more about this scam credit card before I foolishly signed up for one through p c richard & son

I signed up for a promotion with Joe Botros Jr. 8246 at p c richard & son credit card, 12 months of no interest. Figured out how to make the payments so I wouldn't get charged interest.
The promotion ended the ninth. I owed 517.00. It would have been my last payment. I got my bill on the 15. Because I did not pay the 517.00 by the 9th (even though I didn't RECEIVE the bill until the 15th), they are charging me 854.00 in interest! The INTEREST is almost twice what I owe. How can they legally do this?!
Can't get hold of anyone on the phone. They don't have an email. If I try writing to them...how much more interest are they going to be charging me by the time they respond to my letter? I wished I read more about this scam credit card before I foolishly signed up for one through p c richard & son (a company which deserves its own complaint box for its lousy product)
If there is a class action lawsuit going on against this fraud bank, I would like to join it.

PC Richard & Son - it took so long to get them to respond. p c richard & son service really sucks!

We bought a Samsung LED TV 46" Series 8000 and, after less than a year, some parts on the right side of the screen start growing darker and darker as time goes by. After over a year, the right one third side of the screen is so noticeably darker than the rest of the screen. You can hardly see any details of the picture that happen to fall on the darkened side.

We tried hard to reach p c richard & son for warranty and we have always been given a run-around and excuses. It took so long to get the nearest service center, and after finally locating the service center, it took so long to get them to respond. p c richard & son service really sucks!

I bought a display model Bosch gas dryer from PC Richard & Son in Paramus New Jersey., with an additional 4 years warranty. The dryer broke after being in use for two months. I had a technician from Bosch, and from PC Richard come and examine the dryer. They said it is not reparable. I contacted PC Richard & Son, and asked for either a full refund, or exchange. The store offered me a partial refund, only for $350 (I paid a total of $801). PC Richard & Son would allow me only to re-select a dryer at their store. I have been on the phone with PC Richard & Son central office [protected]), for six business days (from December 19 through December 29, 2011). They have the worst customer service ever. If I accepted their partial refund, I would lose $451. They do not want to exchange the gas dryer either. Never buy anything at PC Richard & Son. Their extended warranty is worth nothing.

PC Richard & Son - salesman joe botros calls me just as casual and breezy sounding as he says.

Long story short. I purchased a new washer and dryer. The washer didn't work when I got it home. I called my salesman after I called p c richard & son repair center and was told I wouldn't get an appointment for a repair for four days. My salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 stated he knew the head of the repair service department, had his phone number and would have him at my house early the next morning. I asked twice to be sure as this seemed too good to be true.

My salesman again assured me by guaranteeing he would have the repairman there FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. We're up and waiting at 12:30pm since they start repairs at 1pm.

At 1pm STILL WAITING. Finally get hold of actual STORE MANAGER JAMES who states that the salesperson doesn't have the authority to set up repairman. I told store manager James whole story, he asked to call me back as he would look into it. In the meantime, Salesman Joe Botros calls me just as casual and breezy sounding as he says "Oh, my friend who does the repairs? I've been trying to call him and can't get him, he must be out already. I bring up that his manager James said he didn't have the authority to handle repairs. Salesman Joe Botros became snotty and said HIS MANAGER DID HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

PC Richard & Son - and they are very expensive. called jenn air customer care line and they did not care that the same parts continue to break.

Every one of my Jenn Air appliances has something broken and they are only two years old. These are the same parts that had been replaced under the warranty, I called to get prices for replacement parts and for some things one may only order the whole unit, not just the clip. And they are very expensive. Called Jenn Air Customer Care line and they did not care that the same parts continue to break.

PC Richard & Son - james langford manager went ballistic, using screaming at us because he wouldn't honor our discount,

James langford manager went ballistic, using screaming at us because he wouldn't honor our discount, offered to us by another employee joe botros. I took issue with that. And with no provoking, he screamed at the top of his lungs, banning us from his store. I was with my 59 year old partially disabled mother and simply tried to leave the store. He followed us to the door yelling and following us in a threatening manner. We were afraid for our safety because he was so out of control. This is unacceptable behavior and there should be consequences for his actions.

PC Richard & Son - I was told by joe botros jr. 8246 that I would be interest free for 6 months,

Be very wary of these people!. They are rip offs of the highest order. I was told by joe botros jr. 8246 that I would be interest free for 6 months, after which my payments would begin to include interest. What they didn't tell me was that all that interest was accruing and that when it kicked in I would be hit by deferred interest in the sum of almost $900.00! None of this is listed on your monthly statement page, mind you.. It’s a separate page (To which they conveniently never direct you! You really have to hunt for it!.) then you’re hit with a brand new 26;.99% interest rate! You read that right! 26/.99%! Even though I have automatic payments, so i'm never late! This is now by far my most expensive interest account?. They make citicard look like mother teresa;. Please! If you have an account with these people pay it off fast:. Then find another provider! These people have a hole where their souls ought to be!. Buyer beware!

I always thought it will the regular finance charge after the promotion expired on sept 2011 which was the billing cycle.. now I am charged $849.01 as deferred interest charge?. i tried to calling to few times and every time I was told I need to speak to a supervisor James, but the customer service rep said they are having technical difficulty to transfer my call and they wont provide a phone number to call them directly;. this is going on from last two weeks!. today finally a customer service rep got someone one on the phone saying its the supervisor James, the supervisorJames said he could not do anything about it and my account was closed yesterday, mean while I did ask them to close my account, I was trying to negotiate it so I dont have to pay such big amount:. she also mentioned it was noted on my last billing statement to pay the full amount but I never saw it on my billing statement;. then he said it was one of those fine small font which I believe anyone would normally avoid reading/. so have lost $849.01

I have used pc richard and son's GE credit card to purchase some product twice. when ] bought this product from the store i was never told that I have pay the full amount back in the promotional period. PC Richard & Son - save your money and please do not buy major appliances from pc richards! you're better off at sears & lowes.

I am unsatisfied with the product that pc richards sold to me. I purchased a very expensive LG regridgerator a year ago and already the motor went bad. I called to have a service technician fix it and they sent a technition over 4 days later. When the technician arrived, he assessed the problem and ordered the part replacement. For some reason, PC richards decided to have the part delivered directly to my house. And what did the geniuses deliver? A fridge door replacement. When the tech returned to fix the fridge it was of course a waste of time because he didn't have a motor replacement to work with, he had a door.
I was so upset that I called the service department to complain again. They were so embarrassed by the mistake, that they said they would give me a new fridge but I would need to purchase a new warranty contract as a result. I complained that I already have a 10yr warranty and this should still be active since the fridge is only 1 year old. They said replacing the fridge means ending my contract. I was so upset. I had no choice but to opt to wait longer for them to order the correct part and wait for the technician to fix the fridge. It's been almost 3weeks without a working fridge in this heat wave and I lost a lot of food thanks to pc richards! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM PC RICHARDS! YOU'RE BETTER OFF AT SEARS & LOWES.

PC Richard & Son - craig ruppert, who said that he would give me a $75 credit for the damage.

I immediately stopped the delivery guys and called the store at [protected] and spoke to the manager, Craig Ruppert, who said that he would give me a $75 credit for the damage. While he held the line, I looked at the refrigerator again and more carefully to see if there were other dents and I then asked him for $100 credit because the dents are so bad and show but he said no, it was $75 or I could "refuse delivery" and they would send another one, that those were my "only two choices" and I had "to decide right this minute". Wow. He wasn't even nice about it, like it was my fault they sent a dented refrigerator and that my time sitting around waiting for delivery was no big deal and that I could just take another day off to wait for another delivery to correct their error.

PC Richard & Son - I always thought p. c. richards had a good reputation, but after reading all.

I always thought P.C.Richards had a good reputation, but after reading all

these horror stories about bad customer service online, I'm definitely going to Best Buys for all my future purchases.

I'm in the market for a top of the line HDTV and I wanted to check P.C.Richards for prices online.I came across this "open Internet forum"and after reading about all these problems and bad customes service I decided against buying anything here.

Sorry P C Richard and Son, it's not only about price and quality, it's also about Customer Service as well

PC Richard & Son - joe botros jr.8246 told me that I would be interest free for 12 months, after which my payments would begin to include interest.

Be VERY wary of these people! They are RIP OFFS of the highest order. Joe Botros Jr.8246 told me that I would be interest free for 12 months, after which my payments would begin to include interest. What they DIDN'T tell me was that all that interest was accruing and that when it kicked in I would be hit by deferred interest in the sum of almost $2100.00! NONE of this is listed on your monthly statement page, mind you". It’s a separate page (to which they conveniently never direct you! You really have to hunt for it'.) THEN you’re hit with a brand new 26.99% interest rate! You read that right! 26.99%! Even though I have automatic payments, so I'm never late! This is now by far my most expensive interest account, . They make CitiCard look like Mother Teresa.. PLEASE! If you have an account with these people PAY IT OFF FAST;. Then find another provider! These people have a hole where their souls ought to be".Private sales letters. Buyer beware!

PC Richard & Son - pc richard will not refund or exchange any t. v. over 30&!.in other words they do not return or exchange expensive items. buyer be careful.

I have just purchased a brand new sony hdtv xbr55hx929 series (Four weeks ago) from pc richard on 317 route 17 south in paramus, bergen county, new jersey. Within 2 or 3 days of purchasing the tv it had sound problems, the sound would intermittently go off and on. I called the store and they sent couple of installers to fix it. They did not do anything...

P C Richard & Son would not price match an item I bought from them. They stated that the price match item was for 'Black Friday' and they will not honor the sale price. I showed them their price match policy that doesn't say any exceptions like 'Black Friday.' I will tell everyone not to shop there.
