VRBO/Vacation Rentals by Owner
I have been with VRBO for 15 yrs and have listed up to 26 condos for many years. in the recent years and getting older I scaled down to 8 condos which are all listed on VRBO as well. In the last 2 years my
"inquiries" have slowed down and this year VRBO is "LITERALLY" putting me out of business because I am getting NO INQUIRIES, They have literally pushed all of my condos down to the 150-186. Which is essence is on the last page. I am paying almost $10k a year to list on their site and because we wont' succumb to their online booking software and crazy fees, they are punishing us owners by putting us last. I am joining in on a class action suit that is underway! if you are interested in joining in let me know. They are gouging the guests as well with these exorbitant fees. Shame on you VRBO where is your customer loyalty you used to be the best!
Nothing Paradise about it
Staff did not adhere to the "customer is always right rule" Manager had nothing better to do than to tell us you can't jump in pool, you cant keep you wet towels/bathing suit on lounge chair, you cant play ball, you cant use that bbq...The rooms were spacious but the sheets had blood stains and hair on them. The room was musty and moldy because the windows were open and the air was not on when we got their in the 100 degree weather. The Most horrible experience we have ever had on a vacation. The area Lauderdale by the Sea was fantastic for us divers and beach goers. Just Stay somewhere else.
The manger knocked on my door and then walked into my room without being invited!
The rooms were unsafe because their was an adjoining door that did not lock and was only blocked by movable furniture.
