Good day
I got a contact for a business supplier of laptops in the netherlands I communicate with them about me buying from them. They send me the price list I was happy and I chose the model of the laptops I desired to buy from their the sent me an invoice for me to pay via money-gram which I did.
They confirmed receipt of the money and proceeded by sending me the tracking number as well as way bills (wpc027846389652sa) via a company called worldpromise logistics. It indicate the goods were loaded in instanbul on friday the 13 with mention to be in johannesburg on tuesday the 17.
Then on monday they say items have been held by customs in lusaka for insurance purposes and I should pay 500$ to get the items released.
I duly indicate to them that there was no mention of such when they invoice me as per standard procedure with other logistics company whereby everything is quoted before your goods are transported.

Since I started engaging with them they just want the 500$ payment for the goods to be released in lusaka. I offered to get a clearing agents from lusaka to see how best he can engage with local custom they told only they are shipping company is mandated to solve if I pay the 500$.

In all accounts it seems that shipping company and the supplier are one and the same that why if is within your jurisdiction and you are able to help I will be glad.

If possible can I get my goods or a refund.

I sent Enquiries about A4 photocopying paper in alibaba and Page International responded to my Enquiries by giving me the prices of the papers I wanted.
We reached an agreement and I ordered and paid for 2000 reams ($380 for 1000 reams paid on 28 March 2019 and $380 for another 1000 reams paid on 01 April 2019) of Rotatrim paper from Page international Trading Pty Ltd, which is an affiliate to Vision Page international Trade
I was asked to pay through Western Union of which I did and the money was collected by Sanelesiwe Phiri.

The sales director Mr David Hathorn said I will recieve my order in 2 days and now they are not taking my calls and not responding to my emails.

Please intervene because they are not responding to my emails now and I can't get through the contact number they gave me. First it was just ringing unanswered but now I can't go through.
