Pacific Sales Clown show

Pacific Sales needs to do better. We ordered all of our kitchen appliances, worked with sales to get the measurements our cabinet and countertop guys needed to custom build, and were expecting things to move smoothly. But it was the exact opposite. They are a total mess. None of the schedulers knows what any other scheduler has promised. As a result, we never knew if someone was coming to deliver an item or not. We wasted many days waiting for deliveries that never happened. And follow-up calls to the company are like calls to the twilight zone. Example - a scheduler will in the same conversation reference our appointment confirmation number, acknowledge the date/time window they had promised to show up, and tell us that we have no appointment scheduled. What?!?! Not everyone can miss a day of work for missed delivery appointments. Some ordered items that were in the warehouse, according to sales, were not delivered, no longer available, and then we had to get alternate items. Remember, they worked with us to get the dimensions to our cabinet/countertop guys for custom build. At one point, they delivered two of the same item. Maybe all of this sounds petty. But it is not. It is so ridiculous and frustrating. I highly recommend that you do not use this company.

Pacific Sales Delivery and pickup

Purchased by phone in January, 2023, a Monogram double oven and Wolf Range hood. Purchase easy and left great review for salesperson on Yelp. I was not aware that my order was split in two orders. One from Pacific Sales and one from Best Buy. Because of email spam, all Best Buy email goes into junk file. Thus when paying someone $500 to pick up my order for delivery, he naturally asked for my order from Pacific Sales. Neither of us had any idea the second order written up as Best Buy. They loaded the Monogram double oven (written up as Pacific Sales) forgetting to tell him that my order was split into two companies. The order written up as Best Buy was left sitting there. My first complaint to a manager named Daniel, resulted in him telling me they would arrange delivery and he would call me back with delivery date. After a week of no calls, a second call to him resulted with him I would have to pay for delivery because we should have known the second order written up as Best Buy. Why should I have known this. I bought from Pacific Sales, not Best Buy. I am furious and will take this problem as high as I can

Desired outcome: Delivery to Paso Robles or compensation for my cost of a second delivery. I am not asking for install, just delivery.

Pacific Sales Whirlpool oven

First, the delivery guys damaged my brand new wood floors. I filed a claim but have never heard from the 3rd party delivery service and was given no contact info on this 3rd party service.

Second, the oven was installed 7/2022. It worked once and broke. The whirlpool guys keep coming out with new parts and it still doesn't work. I've gone through Thanksgiving, all my kids birthdays and Christmas with no oven. Supposedly, the next part should make it work but it's backordered.

My worry is if I have it exchanged for a new one if delivery guys will jack up my floors again. It was bad. I'm very disappointed. It looks like Pacific Sales has history if selling duds.

Desired outcome: I'd like the part needed for it to work or exchange for new one (without damaging my floors!)

Pacific Sales Delivery on appliance

We purchased all of our appliances through pacific sales. Bought wolf dishwasher, double ovens, stove range, microwave and sub zero refrigerator. We were told if we paid it all off at once we would be the first to receive our appliances. This was back in August 2021. We received all the appliances in October, minus the refrigerator. We then spoke again to the sales rep at pacific sales and the manager regarding shipment of refrigerator in November and was told it was being delivered October 19th. We spoke again today December 19th with the individual who sold us appliances and told us the rules changed with them and that we are not part of the VIP status and that we will not be getting refrigerator now until possibly April 2022. Manager said it was out of her hands and doesn't understand why sales guy would mis-inform us. Yet we spoke with her back in October and she told us a shipment was coming in for sure December 17, 2021.

Desired outcome: I want my refrigerator. We don't even have a date

Pacific Sales Refrigerator

This is the third failed delivery attempt. We have wasted time and money having to leave work to come wait for the third exchange of damaged refrigerator. Every time they come to exchange fridge is is damaged and we paid full price expecting to receive in tact brand new fridge. I have gone in person to pacific sales I Cerritos and that was also a waste of time. We need to be compensated for wasting so much time and losing money. Now we have to wait again for the FOURTH TIME for another delivery and hopefully it is in tact without damage. Another day loss of work, paying for your lack of help. We want to be compensated 1, 000 dollars for our time and money lost and expect our fridge to please be in new conditions. Reference number is [protected]. WE always have to reach out for updates because you never do. [protected] Fernando Cabral or [protected] Mina. We want to issue formal complaint.

Desired outcome: Compensated 1,000 for lost time and money and horrible refrigerator deliveries

Pacific Sales Appliance delivery

Very disappointed! Not sure if this was a management issue or a communication issue. I made a purchase back in January 2021. I was told that the item(s) were on back order. The delivery dates changed many times throughout this process. We disclosed that we had granite countertops prior to placing the order and we were told that the installers were able to make minor adjustments. Finally, we arrive at the installation date in the middle of April, the guys sent to install were inexperienced and did not have the proper tools needed to make adjustments.
I ultimately canceled/ returned the order. This was a colossal waste of time!
The customer service while in the store was great, patient, and very informative, but all of her hard work was for nothing if the scheduling and install team can't deliver. I also felt un-valued as a customer, as no alternative accommodations were offered to rectify the problem.

Desired outcome: Deliver, and install my appliances

Pacific Sales Warrantech direct services

I have an extended warranty through WarranTech Direct for a KitchenAid refrigerator. Have an issue with the water dispenser where it appears that the computer is triggering a stream of water out of the water dispense that dispenses fluid oz in 24 hours and dispenser overflows if I leave it for a few days. issue reported on June 22, 2020 and 3 service companies came out, replaced several components, however issue is still not reserved. Today, James, a supervisor (ID PP000) from WarranTech first stated that I cannot do anything about it since my warranty expired in September. I reminded him that this is not a new claim, it is a pending claim that is not fixed. Then James said the service company stated that my refrigerator is "working as it should be working". I called and spoke to Mike, owner of Residential Tech Services and he stated that he told WarranTech they need to send out an authorized Manufacturer Service Rep to fix the problem. I am getting the runaround from WarranTech and they just want to drop my claim.

Pacific Sales Delivery of stove

On March 15, 2020, I purchased a stove from Pacific Sales and Best Buy of Emeryville California. It was scheduled for delivery on 3/19/20 but canceled three hours before delivery because California was now on COVID -19 lock down. I understood that. I then waited 90 days and made other arrangements and was assured that deliveries were being made.
I made the delivery for June 20, 2020 knowing the time window was 12:00 to 8:00 pm. I then received several phone calls, many texts, and emails all confirming the date and time of delivery. At that time the window of delivery was now adjusted to 12:15 - 3:15 pm. In each instance as well as the order done in the store I alerted everyone that I needed to be called on my cell phone at the time of delivery. I live on the 4th floor with no land line for admittance assistance. My home phone was not to be used and everyone acknowledged use of my cell phone.
I drove 3 hours to make the delivery and waited from 12:00 to 8:00 and no call nor appliance was received. Every call made never made a connection with a human and was useless. At 12:00 the 21st I began writing to Ramona of the helpline who could not help. She connected me to the help line at Geek desk. I wrote to Sean who could not help and for the first time said my order number was now not valid. He said I needed to talk to a person. I again called the store and was put on hold for 10 minutes...
1 hour later I hung up because obviously no one will help me or cared.
So I fully paid in March, now inJune no one will speak to me about an unmade delivery and I cannot cancel my order because the time limit was removed because of the virus. Interesting that everyone made an effort to speak to me about me being available for delivery, but when there is a problem no one will speak to me or make an effort to resolve the issue. I need help as I have no useful stove...does anyone care anymore?

Pacific Sales should have learned the lesson before

Ten years ago we ordered appliances through Pacific Sales and had a horrendous experience. Now we needed a new refrigerator and went to Best Buy, unaware that their appliance department had been taken over by Pacific Sales. Nevertheless, we ordered a refrigerator and were given a two-week delivery window. The appliance was due to be delivered tomorrow and TONIGHT we received a call informing us that the item is not in inventory and WE HAD TO go back to the store and RESUBMIT OUR ORDER. Needless to say, we will not be doing this. Twice burned, forget it. STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC SALES!

The driver didn't went through all items one by one with us, just asked signature for 8pcs (actually only 7pcs, missing one cooktop). and he was

On the same day, 7/11 right after driver left and we found out 1 cooktop shortage, so call rafael at home deliver right away for solutions. and he said they will doing the investigation, but after that no response at all.

I keep calling emanuel, store manager at pasadena store and home delivery depart for almost the last two month; but no one really take care it.

It is the worst experience we ever have,

Pacific Sales be aware

They talk about their great service and acceptable prices too much. I wish everything they say was true. Maybe the prices are fine, but the service... Nothing can be worse. Don't think they will help you. You will regret if any problem occurs, if something goes wrong. So buyers beware. You problems are interesting to you only. The store will do anything to win the argument.

Pacific Sales unsatisfactory delivery service

The delivery service for Pacific Sales and Best Buy appliances was poorly performed for our newly purchased LG refrigerator. We had requested at Pacific Sales that the door hinges be reversed, but the refrigerators were delivered without the reversal. The two deliverymen appeared to be unprepared to reverse them. It took a long time to perform, and we are concerned that the doors do not fit correctly. This is of further concern since a small dent occurred when they moved the refrigerator through the front door.
We are requesting a cost-free inspection of the door fit, and compensation for any work that needs to be done. It is noted that we tried to reach you by phone, but our voice messages were not returned. This time, we are asking for a response to this message.

Pacific Sales samsung refrigerator rf24fsedbsr/serial#w65043bda00171e

Purchased 10/31/2013 Pacific Sales Huntington Beach with Warrantech 5 yr. warranty til 11/07 2018.
Service call 10/16/14 water leak
Service call 4/20/16 frost clogged icemaker
Service call 7/18/16 Motor/ fan noise
7/22/16 replace sensor
1/30/'7 motor noise again-Warrantech called --no show by technician.
3/1/17 returned from vacation - ice cube maker not functioning again and ice on the unit. I removed ice myself with blow dryer. Still working at this moment.
3/2/17 I noted milk and was souring and thought it may have been poor store product. Refrigerator was registering 34 degrees!
3/12/13 checked temp om refrigerator which registered 34 degrees. Used my own thermometer in the frig. which read 50 degrees . 3/13/2017 called Warrantech AGAIN.Will be here today. Food spoiled again!
I consider this spoiled this to be more than a technical problem because the refrigerator was registering 34 degrees when in fact it was 50 degrees . This is a health problem because now you know you are knowingly exposing my family to possible food poisoning with Staph, listeria and other organisms. I had spoke to the manager at Pacific Sales H.B. last year and Samsung yesterday with no satisfaction regarding a replacement. I don't care if the replacement cost less, I just want one that keeps my food at a safe temperature. I will also be more than happy to use old fashioned ice cube trays rather than this troublesome automatic ice maker.
Thank you for your attention to my problem. If you feel I am addressing this in the wrong fashion and should contact an attorney please let me know.

Pacific Sales samsung washing machine model wa50f9a6d-rusting bleach compartment

We purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer from the Pacific Sales department in the Best Buy store on north Blackstone avenue in March of 2014. For the last year I have been cleaning rust from around the Bleach Compartment to keep it from spreading, but now some of our white clothes are getting spotted by the expanding rust, particularly in the metal underneath the Blue bleach container.

We will need to have the Washer replaced, as I can see from the internet comments that this is a wide spread problem.

You can reach us at [protected]@comcast.net, or on my cell phone of [protected].

Pacific Sales selling products they don't have

I purchased a Jenn-Air cooktop from the Corona, CA location on September 17, 2016. I was initially told it would be delivered on September 22, 2016. That day came and went with no delivery. I called on September 23, 2016, and was told it was strange but now the system said delivery would be September 29, 2016. Once again, the delivery date came and went with no delivery and no phone call. I called on September 30, 2016, where is my cooktop, now they have no idea when delivery will be. Here are the list of excuses I have been told since then:

- We changed computer systems and it is causing a mess
- We have no direct contact with our warehouse
- Its because Best Buy bought us
- We only stock about half the orders and actually wait for customers to ask us for the product
- The one I thought we had in stock turned out to be an open box

It's like they are reading from a list of things to say to keep the customer obligated.

I will never purchase anything from this store. The final resolution was me once again having to reach out to the store (rather than someone calling me with updates) on 10/5/16 only to be told "we are now showing the product won't even be delivered to our warehouse until 10/17." I canceled my order. The only thing that Pacific Sales was able to do right was perform a cancellation and refund.

So basically I ordered a cooktop on 9/17, was promised delivery dates twice in the next two weeks only to ultimately be told they wouldn't even have the product in their warehouse until a whole month after my purchase. I am not sure what kind of scam these guys are trying to run, but selling items you don't actually have is pretty poor. Needless to say, I will never take my business to this or any pacific sales.

I implore anyone that thinks about buying from Pacific Sales to read the reviews over the past 18 months. Not just for this location, but other Pacific Sales locations. They all have numerous 1 star ratings complaining of the same thing I experienced. One off issues are one thing, but this is clearly a trend. The only thing Pacific Sales is good for is a big showroom. By all means, go to the store to physically look at appliances, but do not, I repeat, do not purchase from them unless you don't really care if you will ever get the product.

Best Buy (the parent company that acquired Pacific Sales) really needs to get its act together because this concept is reflecting poorly on them and will actually impact my decision to even buy from Best Buy, a store I was just starting to find reliable again.

Pacific Sales warrantech - your warranty company

LG Refrigerator - I have been without a refrigerator since August 19 and have been sent two repair people. First one says cannot fix because it is a sealed system. It took many phone calls and holding on for at least hours to get another repair company.

It took days before they sent another repair company one who said he thought it was the compressor. On Active's Appliance's website the Status Bar said it had ordered a compressor and it was to arrive on Sept. 9. I called this morning for status and operator was not very clear on what was going on, so I called Warrantech and the operator there said he checked with them and their operator said two conflicting things.

One was they were not an authorized dealer for the manufacturer. The other is that the part was on back order.

Why would they send an unauthorized repair person and the other why would Active reorder something they knew they could not work on. I did a Phone Chat with someone from Pacific Sales on August 19 or 20th and they gave me several repair companies which I passed on to Warrantech. Active was given to me by Warrantech.

We need Help! I cannot believe there is no one in this large community that can not fix this refrigerator. The operator said Active Appliance was not an authorized company to order an LG refrigerator but Appliance said they were back ordering it. Doesn't make sense. Active Appliance number is 818/778-1999.

Need Help. It seems unreal that it has taken almost a month to get a refrigerator repaired.

Pacific Sales Hp pavilion x360 convertible malfunctioning new laptop

I purchased a brand new HP Pavilion X360 Convertible Laptop (Model: W2L17UA SKU:5217102 Serial: 8CG6222KGV from Best Buy Store #1048 in Homewood, IL on 07/21/2016 with the belief that I had purchased a quality product from a reputable company. Boy, was I mistaken! In 30 days (conveniently past the 15 day Best Buy return policy), I am back in Best Buy at the Geek Squad customer service desk submitting my brand new laptop for shipment to HP for repair. The new laptop's touchscreen is flashing and selecting things on the screen that are not imputed. In other words, my laptop is Haunted! It is opening and closing software applications on its own, opening the Internet and going to websites by itself and preventing me from logging out. Geek Squad couldn't tell me if it was a hardware or a software issue and they couldn't replace my laptop with a brand new one in the store because it was past their 15 day return policy. Not only was I upset, that I couldn't walk out the store with a new laptop due to this return policy, now all my productivity was held hostage for the next two weeks as I scrambled to reschedule meetings with local and out-of-town clients. The inconvenience of purchasing a faulty product plus the personal cost of time rescheduling meetings and loss of productivity is unacceptable when the problem is clearly a manufacturing issue. Is this what I can expect for choosing HP over all the other companies that I could have purchased a laptop from? Not only am I upset at myself for trusting HP, I am angry and upset at being told that all the loss of my time, money and productivity was due to the touchscreen firmware not having the latest software update. I paid over $500 for a substandard product which ended up costing me a whole lot more in time, money and productivity which I can never get back. Not only is my confidence shaken with HP products, you can be assured of two things: (1) I will not take the chance of ordering another laptop, desktop or printer for myself or my business from HP, and (2) I will make every effort to publish my complaint on social media sites if this is ignored and not resolved. I am not only asking for a monetary refund of $524, I am asking for a new laptop. A simple thank you for choosing Geek Squad is not enough. Even as I am typing this complaint, this laptop is malfunctioning once again with the same issue. This is strike number 2. I will be returning this laptop again for repair. Based on the 2 weeks it took to not correct the original problem, plus the anticipated 2 weeks to try to resolve it again, we now share joint-custody of this laptop. My name is Lancer Delashment and I can be reached at [protected].

Pacific Sales appliances not available as promised when purchased

After meeting with a very knowledgable sale men who sold me a LG refrigerator and matching dishwasher he checked and said the dishwasher was in stock and the fridge is on the way with a ETA of 3 days. This was 7/5/16. I received no call and after 2 weeks I called the store and they said you should hear by next Tuesday. Today is Wed 7/20/16, still hearing nothing I went back to the store where they looked into what was going on and told me, that the way the system works is that when I purchased the computer showed one in the warehouse, unfortunately some one at another store purchased the same refrigerator and it was shipped to them. So basically I I am making payments on a dishwasher and a refrigerator that I don't have. They are telling me now I should have it by the first week of Aug. The staff at the store is nice, but this delay and not being kept informed is inexcusable. There are some things people can go without for a while but a refrigerator when you have a large family is not one. I feel cheated, and lied too. I bought the appliances and they were given to someone else, and now I have to wait. If I had known it would take this long I would not have purchased these products. I had planned on buying the rest of the kitchen from them after the initial sale, but if they can't deliver what you pay for they don't deserve my business. It is so unfortunate because the sales associate Michael really knows the products, . Very sad. I am still debating canceling my order, I'm so frustrated with the entire issue.
