Outback Steakhouse - Service/food

On October 26, 2019 a group of my peers were meeting at Out back for a gathering. Our reservations were at 5pm and we arrived at about 4:45 pm- One of my peers went to check us in and was told they were getting the tables together, which was about for 20 people. The first problems was we did not get seated until 5:30 pm, then once we got seated we did not get any utensils, we had to ask three different servers before they came out. I ordered the BOOMARITA and I repeated myself several times stating the one that has the four different types. He wrote it down wrong the first time then came back and asked again after we had an discussion what I asked for. He must had been new( Curtis was his name)- He kept forgetting our orders, food coming out on hot plates but the food was not. After his co-workers and one of the Manager seen him struggling they assisted with bringing out the order. Once again my husband order an appetizer, and it never came out until he asked about. It was the new one that has shrimp and lobster bites but no lobster all shrimp. When I asked him about the lobster he states that it is only a few of them in the order, I stated I understand that, but there was none. Once again he was struggling with trying to figure thing out. Then the steaks came out three different time and still was not cooked with the normal Outback touch. I told them I would just take it home and finish cooking the steak because I was not sure if someone put something on my steak to make me sick. Curtis mom works for outback as well and she decided to come help her son, and question us as if we did not have to right to be upset about our food. After making a comment that Curtis does not cook the food, I asked her who she was and she stated she was just helping, by this time, I am upset and wanted her to leave out table because she was not our server, so I asked her to leave our table and let her know that we know he is not the cook and we never address him with our issues, we address them to the manager. At the end the bills came out, once again he is confused and give someone another person bill that had money in it already. Even though the services was horrible, we still left him over 100 dollars tip between us all. We knew he did not cook the food but he was not any help, looking at us as if we were confused when it was him that had not been trained for big parties. One of the steaks were taken off because we were just done with the situation. I go out all the time and I have never had to seen a steak back so many times and they still could not get it right. I cooked the steak a little long once I got home, and I have had diarrhea for two days, if it continues I will be going to the Dr. office and filing case because this is not good for any company. For any group of 20 or more there should always be veteran server and at least two of them. Better services for the customer and non-stressed workers.
