Orkin Termite service

On 06/27/2016 I had an Orkin man check my house for termites. This guy puts on a white suit to go under my house to check for subterranean termites. After a while I see him in his car. It was not an Orkin car. The first thing I noticed is that he is still wearing the white suit and it is still white. If you go under my house you get filthy. He lied about going under my house. Right then and there I should have told him to take a hike. He pulled a con on me saying he saw the termites. When they supposedly treated the house I saw what looked like Tampons in his hand. He said they were spikes to treat the house. I paid these people 1152.00 to start and a contract renewal fee of 288.00 a year. I did not think they treated my home. So I call Orkin up. They sent the supervisor named Bernstein over to my home. He sends an employee under my home to crawl around. He comes up and says everything is good. Of course he is going to say that. Bernstein told him to say that. The last paper work on the inspection I have was 2019. That is over two years ago. The guy came last month and told me everything was good even though he did not go under the house. A few days ago I noticed a pile of dirt. under a panel . I lifted the panel and it was eaten away. Now this new manager John Lewis wants to do a Bernstein and send an employee under my house again so he can lie to me and say everything is ok. No thank you .I know someone who works for the Department of Agriculture who handles complaints against businesses. I will let her handle it. You see Orkin in Polk County has the backing of a couple of corrupted Sheriff officials. Well I have a surprise for them. The Department of Agriculture is higher than any corrupted Sheriff official.

Orkin Driver

Yesterday 05/03/21 around 12.40pm in Jonesborough TN one of the Orkin Drivers Truck # 59021 and Tag # 39435 pulled out in front of me we were in a funreal posession and he pulled in between the Hearse and Family car that was very rude and disrespectful! he only done that to drive just a 1/4 mile to turn off! your Driver needs more respect!

Orkin Cancellation of service

I started service with Orkin late March of 2020; to cancel service they need 30 days notice. I called the first week of March 2021 to cancel and later that month received a call from Trip who stated I still had another service due and knew believed at the time it was already paid so I accepted.
I received a bill in the mail showing a balance of $91.14? I called after receiving this bill and asked why I owed that amount when Orkin was on scheduled automated payments for the past year.
After the last service I spoke to Trip and requested a email or something to confirm my cancellation and he said it's in his computer and I didn't need to be concerned about it. I asked again and he repeated himself telling me if anyone was to show just to call him back.
Today is the 13th of April; I spoke to Rhonda explaining the situation and found out my cancellation was scheduled for May 2021. You can only imaging I'm really ticked at this point. She sent the complaint to Trip who called me and we discussed what we talk about and wasn't happy to find out the cancellation of service was for May not for March as I was told.
He said he would look into it and see what my balance is and will call back later.
Trip knowing I had cancelled said it had to be 30 days making it sound like I should have cancelled late February. My first payment was accepted on the 29th of March last year. I called within the 30 days and that should count.

Desired outcome: I believe I should not owe Orkin the March fee as well as they need to send a copy of " confirmation of cancellation of service for March".

Orkin Lying about performing an inspection

Person showed up at my door (Nov 6, 2020) stating a renewal of contract was due that previous homeowner had initiated. He said I could pay him and he would do an inspection. I declined but called the company and renewed the contract. The same man called stating he could have done inspection that day but I did not want it. I do not do business with a person showing up at my door wanting money to do a service. He said he would come back at a later time. I informed him that we would be leaving mid March and he said he would be here before my departure. I am leaving this week. I called the company to let them know he has not shown up. I was informed that he documented that he did inspection when he was originally here and another one was scheduled in September when I will not be here.

Desired outcome: disciplinary action of personnel for fraudlant documentation and not fulfilling service

Orkin Poor service, termites not killed after two visits. lied about how to pay.

Account [protected] Emilia Quintana 1-AQ-810-N22 We were lied to about the service of killing termites at 113 South 11th Street in Carlsbad NM 88220 They came out the first time in September 2020, one of the workers was too busy on the cell phone worried about his girl friends birthday. We signed a contract with Christopher Bejano, who lied about the contract being with Orkin that we signed, misspelled my wife's name after being told 4 times how to spell it. Every paper we signed said Orkin, not this finance company they keep passing the buck to as we owe them? After a month we still had termites, we called Christopher who said Orkin would make it right would spray all 4 walls instead of the one originally sprayed. We also discussed spraying again around the whole house. The Orkin man came the following week and only sprayed one outside wall. We still had termites after that too. We sent email to Christopher Bejano who said he would straighten it all out and have us mailed a bill. We are not going to pay interest or penalties due to being lied to. Now we find out that Orkin does not have our account and we cannot send them payment, referred to some finance company. Chad Harmonson in Odessa said he could do nothing about payment and gave us another number to call. All we get is the runaround. No one can help us. We will never recommend Orkin to anyone. Orkin needs to be investigated they lied to us and probably others. Again we will not pay any interest, penalties.

Desired outcome: We want a paper billing sent to 111 South 11th Street Carlsbad NM 889220 We will not pay any interest or penalties due to their incompetence!!!

Orkin Service

I have signed up with Orkin a couple of months ago. Since then I have an opportunity to make a lot of observations on their work. First, when the guy came for the first time his uniform was completely disgusting, dirt. I though he must had a long day with other jobs but when he came out a second and third time with the same dirty clothes I could not believe it. Not to mention when I asked him about the bug problem he was unsure and assured he would get back to me. He never did. I eventually found out by describing it to someone on the phone. The last visit I schedule, they cancelled last minute and rescheduled without confirming for the next morning from 7-11. I received a call from a guy at 7:13am saying he is 20 minutes away. He never showed up nor respond to my text to just say something. Someone did come at 11:15 but it was not the same guy who usually come nor was it the one that called and said he was on way at 7:13am. From that time I had some personal things that occured and due to inconsistency with Orkin I requested to cancel my service. The lady was very rude and was telling me I have a contract for a year. She did not even care about my personal issue, just that I could not discontinue service.
I need to cancel my service and they won't let me. I need it cancelled.

Orkin Poor service from orkin, orkin will not call me back

Had Orkin service for years for our log home in LONE ROCK WI. Since we are at our second home only a couple times a month I trusted Orkin to service my account. When I found out that we had spiders, mice and ants I E-mailed Orkin. NO REPLY ., I sent another e-mail to Orkin again no reply. I called Orkins midwest office and cancelled my service. Requested a reply from local office, Guess what no return call. It appears that Orkin could care less about there customers. It will be interesting to see if I ever get a call from Orkin

Orkin Pest control, for mice, spiders and ants

I have used orkin for many years for our second home in lone rock wi. They did not treat the whole property. I e-mailed the orkin office asking for a reply as to what was treated. No reply after three requests. I send orkin e-mails, again no reply. As a last resort I called their mid west office and cancelled my service.

Do not understand why no one from orkin would reply or contact me.

Orkin Service

I hired this company take care of the bugs around my place, They did not do their job right I still have massive bugs so I decided to after my year to cancel them because it was not worth the money I was paying. Today I checked my mail and I have a bill in the mail for $41 that they took out on July 17 they said they didn't so now I have to pay more money to a company that Is no longer servicing my property. I would never recommend Orkin To anyone save your money because their service is not worth it. to anyone save your money because their service is not worth it.

Orkin Charged me for services that they did not complete.

We cancelled service with Orkin and they stopped servicing our residence but they kept charging me. They have agreed that they do owe me for services that they charged but never did. They have told me that I would receive a check in the mail. That was in May 5, 2020 it is now August 25, 2020, no check. I have called numerous times with no return call.

Orkin Will not get rid of mice in crawl space

I had problems with mice in my crawl space in 2019 and now in 2020. Orkin couldn't get rid of mice in 2019, but I was able to get rid of them at $300 expense and lot of labor, in addition to orkin service fees. Had an injury, surgery, disabled and in a wheelchair so I cannot do the same work in 2020 as I did in 2019 to get rid of mice this year. Hear exact same mouse sounds in 2020, in may I asked orkin to please get rid of them, even captured video of three mice in crawl space. Orkin found two dead mice in past two months, but they claim the noises I am hearing are not mice, even though same sounds, patterns and react to my actions above them, banging on floor, yelling, sirens. Asked orkin in 2019 and 2020 to bring in a mice expert but have refused both years. I am forced to listen to mice chewing, gnawing sounds every day, becomes extremely frustrating and worried about damage they do. Orkin's bait boxes and traps do not work very well since I hear sounds every day, but they claim they are doing everything possible. I told them repeatedly that I wanted them to honor the orkin national service guarantee to control pests. Well, that hasn't happened yet and must sit in my wheelchair and listen to mouse sounds all day long.

Orkin Dishonest business practices related to contract

I called Orkin due to carpenter ants. I was directed by the Orkin site to their Leesburg, Fl office. The site does not indicate it is a franchise. When they came out I was told that it might take 2-3 treatments to eliminate the ants. I signed the alleged contract believing it was what I discussed with the representative. Later I found out I was scammed. Orkin put into the contract additional services exceeding $400. When I called to cancel the service a very rude woman mockingly asked if I read the contract. She provided no assistance which lead me to believe this is a common business practice for them. When I called the corporate office I was told they could not help me as it was a franchise. I have never dealt with such a unethical business before. I feel completely taken advantage of as the company wants $230 to cancel the contract. On top of that I found two carpenter ants in my home this week. I am frustrated that such a well known company is so underhanded in their attempt to get business. I feel as if they are stealing my money for a service I did not even request.

Orkin fraud

My dad called Orkin to spray. The inspector came out and had my dad write a check out to him not to the company for six hundred dollars . I got my dad a hotel, but he has really bad health and couldn't breath in the fumes. The day he was to come home the tenant let the extrominater in, they said he went in for a few mins and came right out. He didn't give a receipt or contract. So I called to company because this didn't seem normal. The manager said the person that U said came out doesn't even spray the homes but his name was on the check. My dad wasn't even in the system. So he said he had to contact the employee he was very rude. I told him I would contract my lawyer, and he said if I did so he couldn't help me, and I would also have to deal with their attorney's. Then the employee called my dad and offered to either spray or refund the money at the end of the week. The manager said he had to conduct a investigation because their were to many stories. So the manager called back the next day and said Ashely Howard didn't spray, because he refunded the money in a folder that we must have be unaware of which was a lie. So, I called Corporate and she assured me she would handle it and return my call. Which she never did. Finally Shaun assured me that we would get the money right back. But then says we would have to wait two weeks to receive the money and sign a waver for a settlement. The bad part about this the employee was coming back the next month to scam my father out of another six hundred dollars. I just so happen to catch him. Horrible business! Then after ripping us off he called my dad back to insult him, because I told on him. If I didn't have a copy of the check he would have gotten away.

Orkin a driver

I love in Waldorf Maryland and I was in Pinefield going the posted speed at 4:40 pm October 30, 2019 and one of your vehicle (license plate 6DX9757, Maryland Tags) was SPEEDING behind me and proceeded to almost back end me all because he was impatient! This is ridiculous. The speed limit is the speed limit! in a hurry to go no where! I'm just trying to get to work and not get hit !

Orkin unfriendly, rude, uncaring, not addressing the problems, inconsiderate

I called for there service because I saw 2 cockroach inside and just wanted to make sure that we were not having bugs. We'll 1st visit they put out them sticky roach hotels and did not even hide them so the babies could not get them, and they sprayed outside never inside that was it. Was supposed to come 4 days later well I called the very next day because I smoke outside and I had ants literally crawling in me they were that bad I had never had that problem and my babies are allergic to ants they came and threw granulated down that it. 2 days later I called because ants were in my house that had never been they sent someone to put granule down again. 3 days ago I smelled a dead mouse but couldn't find it well I followed my nose because the smell was so bad u had to leave windows and door open they put them mouse glue strip down through the house and never told me the mouse was on 1 behind my washer I called told them come get all their stuff and canceled my contract and give my money back it took them 6 hours to come to my house and get that dead mouse and then he only was taken that I had to run and stop him to get the rest out. The manager darrius taylor was rude and instead of coming and fixing my problem I had called him with at 750 this morning he waited till 130 pm I called every number on google for orkin even cooperation and always got the same exact person. This place is a joke and do nothing but take your money and throw down traps you can pay $1 for and charge you $120.00 every 3 months. I am waiting for them to send me a check for what I paid. Orkin cockroaches

I live in a Hud apartment complex. Since I have been living here we have had a pest control company spray our apartment monthly. Never had any type of bug problems. New manager, new pest control. Orkin.

About 3.5 months ago I spotted my first cockroach. Been cockroach hell from then on. Orkin guy put in ONE trap after spraying. Told landlord he checked all the trapS he put in my place and I don't have a problem. I had no roaches. He lied! Made me look like a liar to my landlord.

Since I found this out yesterday, I started to carry my camera and take photos of the critters. Videos too. Must have killed 50 German cockroaches since last night. Adults and babies. All documentation on my phone.

No way does this guy know what he is doing. Posted a few pictures on social media. Filed complaint with Hud. Filing complaint with better business bureau.

I am sure my problem will not be taken care of. It's been three months already!

Orkin is not a good company to use.

Orkin services/ billing when I cancelled services

I signed up for Orkin April 2018. In April 2019 I cancelled service because I had two appointment schedule and no one showed up and no one called. I then called and cancelled my contact, My contact end in April 2019 as will. On June 29, 2019 I got home to a bill from Orkin saying services was done today why when I cancelled now I have a bill for $77.00 and I didn't ask for service they didn't even send me a email with the appointment they made. I called the office and the phone just rings no answer I left voicemail with no return calls. Just now as I'm typing this I called the office no answer this is very bad customer service even coming from one of the workers who was working there.

Orkin pest control/customer service

Where to begin! First dont use Orkin. Problems from beginning to end. We had a crack and with construction being done next door mice ended up getting into our home (we didnt know about the crack). Either way, I decided to pay for Orkin as they got into the crawl space which there isnt much room to get into. There was a price, and I told them I wanted to pay the whole amt up front and they said there is a discount. So they came out and luckily I noticed the charge only came through as a months service. So I called and they had issues correcting to give the discount. It was fixed but ever should have been an issue. The main reason for calling and hiring them was the crawl space which they NEVER did they put a single trap in there which was he WHOLE reason for service, I already had traps in our home, which caused them to put even less traps down. Even after asking again and calling and someone coming out again they never put the traps in the craw space, not one! Then I didnt want emails except for the reports as the service was to be called and appts made when someone could be home. They agreed it would ONLY be reminders for appts already agreed on and the reports. So they would email a report but never show us what they did when we were there and most were vague making us wonder where certain services took place. Then the emails and or texts came advising of appts or change in appts with never speaking to us. I complained multiple times about both the traps not being done and the text/emails. I called and email the branch manager with no response. Even told them to not let their service man come without calling and making an appt with us being there and they would still show up, and never call. I have replied to the surveys and even requested a refund with no response. Which I was told if we weren't happy with the service they would refund at least a portion of the fee. We have a different service that comes to treat for a bee problem we get in our area and because he came when he wasnt supposed to he showed up when they were here for the bees and then told my mother in law they didnt treat because someone else was there. I called and left a message to have them set up an appt to return which never happened. I have email, responded to the survey and called more than once advising that one the yr date they are not to charge my card for another service. I have it in my calendar to cancel the service at the very beginning of August but I have been telling them this for months with no acknowledgement. I finally reached a person a month or so ago and she added a note that they have to mail me a letter if Id like to continue service. Also at the beginning they have indication that cancellation needs to be in writing 30 days prior, I asked about it at the beginning in person and on the phone and they both said I could just call the office to cancel (not that any one acknowledges the calls nor emails). So yesterday (mind you its prior to the 1 yr mark), I received a bill saying I owed money. Recap, it was paid in full. So I called and left a message last night about this. What a headache and a ripoff. They don't speak to someone and make appts and even when you call and complain they do nothing about it. They dint do what they were hired for which was to put traps in the crawl space, due to its location we needed help in that area. Very frustrated at the service as a whole from beginning to end. I feel we didnt get what we paid for and I requested a refund months ago. If they weren't going to treat the area I hired them for what the heck did I pay them for to begin with! UGH- Find someone else to give your business to. Dont waste your money cause you sure as heck wont get a response. let me tell you if I end up with a charge on my card for anything from them at the year mark everyone will know what a piss poor company Orkin truly is.

Orkin Driver

I was traveling on route 39 in Sherman act today and one of your drivers tailgated so bad he was over yellow line. He then proceeded to pass in a no pass zone (way over speed limit). I followed him into parking lot at post office and took photo. No lights on in rain either (state law). This is a terrible representation for your company. I will add

Orkin Spraying for ants

Poisoned that is what Orkin did to me and they washed their hands of me. They left me homeless and I have 2 young sons.
Orkin came in and sprayed for ants. The result was their chemicals caused me to become violently ill. I was in the ER and have been unable to return to my home for over a week. Still TBD if the chemicals used were wrong or sprayed incorrectly. It's costing me additionally thousands of dollars to determine this.
How is this ok?
