Refund on show
I purchased a meal and show ticket - contacted OMG hotels to book this - we booked the Lion king aswell as a meal. We were travelling from manchester to london to see the show. When I chased the tickets 2 days prior to the show date I was then advised that the show had been booked in error and it was in fact sold out. I had already booked my train fair by this point.
I requested a refund on the show element of the ticket as I was advised this was an option.
This happened on 29th Septemeber and I have been chasing a refund every since. 9 times out of 10 my emails are ignored and unfortunately this is the only way of contacting them.
It is very frustating to still be chasing a refund 4 months later.

They were great with contact when it involved taking more money from me. I contacted them to get a hotel closer to the theatre which they did for an extra cost.
However 48 hours before our show I still had no tickets and emailed for them and they said the tickets had been booked for the wrong day and I could have tickets for another show on that date or the whole experience rebooking. I emailed multiple times the day before we were supposed to go have and just received total radio silence! I have been in queue position 1 for an hour on your chat.
So looks like I will have to pay for more tickets myself. Would have been better off paying for a hotel stay and tickets separately myself. Absolute con. Wish I could give zero stars.
Desired outcome: I need a full refund, I have paid out £315 to you now and have no tickets to show for it. As well as the train tickets etc I have paid for the weekend.My daughters 7th birthday present is ruined.
no contact re booking request sent over 4 weeks ago
I purchased a voucher with theater and hotel stay and filled in the form over 4 weeks ago with the dates as requested on the form and i've heard nothing back no answer to any emails sent on numerous occasions to book can chase this but no one comes back. also tried the online chat always 1st in the queue and never moves I am concerned that the voucher will be a waste of money and you will not reply to book my holiday as requested.

To whom it may concern
On 15 December 2021 I booked in good faith, 2 adults tickets to see the Lion King with 2 nights stay in a London Hotel. Due to the pandemic the show was cancelled so we booked to see another show: Witness to the prosecution, however, our arrival at the theatre we were advised that this too was cancelled due to the lead actor contracting COVID.
I emailed OMG to advise and was informed I would be refunded for my show tickets. I was asked to provide my bank details which I did. However, since then and despite numerous emails to OMG I have not received a refund nor any further communication from OMG which is absolutely despicable.
I expect to be contacted and to receive a full refund as soon as possible!

I'm writing with some unfortunate news to let you know today we have been notified that some upcoming performances of The Lion King have cancelled due to COVID-19 staff illness/mandated isolation and your show is one of the affected and no longer able to take place.
The show has advised they hope to begin performances again from 21st December and we are presently waiting an update on this. Please accept my apologies for any disappointment as I know what it's like when things sometimes have to change when you're looking forward to something.
There is nothing affecting your hotel booking, only the theatre element so I'm able to offer you one of the following options:
1. To see another show - I can send a list of available ones if you'd like me to send this over
2. To choose another attraction
3. To take a refund for the theatre booking element
4. To keep the theatre element as credit and use it again at a future point
Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.

Would never use this company again
Have a Night's stay and a theatre show supposedly tomorrow. Yet I have had no booking vouchers sent and unable to get contact with the company to find out what's going on. All phone lines are automated and can not talk to anyone. And emails seem to get no response complete shambles of a business. They say not to contact until 48hrs of your booking if chasing vouchers yet suggest a 5 day response time.

I emailed on the 1st June, I was advised it was a 5 day turn around time and I am still yet to get a response. I have emailed again a further 6-7 times, again no response. I can not call anyone and the web chat online does not answer. I am now out of pocket with no get away booking.
Desired outcome: For someone from OMG hotels to contact me re my booking and book me in.
Theatre tickets
I booked a London stay, Pretty Woman tickets and breakfast via Wowcher in July 2021, I couldn't book it as there was no available dates last year so we booked for 19th & 20th February 2022.
My confirmation email said I would receive two vouchers upto 48 hours before we were due to travel, I was getting worried as I still hadn't received anything on Friday morning, which was approx 24 hours before we were due to travel.
I kept calling the OMG customer service number but there doesn't appear to be a human there, just an automated service telling you to email, and they'll reply within 3 days, yet that was not an option given how late in the day it was!
I eventually got hold of someone via whatsapp and they sent me an email at 11:27 am Friday to say "there has been an error with the booking of the theatre show from our theatre supplier", and we'd have to choose something else.
Bearing in mind I was booked for Pretty Woman and now I was heading to see Woman in Black which couldn't be more different!
I spent £89 x2 for the hotel & tickets and £147.00 on train travel to see a show I wasn't particularly interested in!
There has been no apology or decent explanation!
The customer service is non existent and the communication is appaling!

Customer services don’t read emails properly
NEVER USES OMG HOTELS, They are totally useless. Not only you can't talk to a person, but once I gave them the only hotel suitable for our London stay. Rather than staying in Kings Cross they stupidly booked a hotel in Greenwich a good hour away from centre of London. They even state this hotel is in the perfect area to explore London.
As we are two females travelling, this long commute to our hotel will definitely spoil our experience in London.
They refuse to change the hotel and won't tell us our seats for the show. I get a sinking feeling I've just wasted £234.

Bad organisation
Please who ever is reading this do not book anything through OMG Hotels as there is no organisation and you are lucky to receive your reservation and if going to a show even get your tickets. What happened to me I paid for 2 functions with a hotel. When purchasing the 2x booking 2 months ago I never got my hotel reservation until last minute and then I paid again to get tickets to go to the theatre as they only issued them too late I paid more for the 2 new tickets than I paid for OMGHOTELS to organise but I wished I had done all myself as I paid for 2 rooms in the hotel and got one this company is a complete shambles and if you ignore this good luck to you.
