Office Depot customer service/billing/management

We are a non- profit business who spends $1000's of dollars with Office Depot.
We have 9 accounts all with separate tax ID's.

We were told we were caught up on all accounts, then all of our accounts were put on HOLD, we inquired about it when we were unable to process orders and were told that we did have past due invoices on 2 accounts after all, frustrated after we were told our accounts were in good standing, we immediately sent payments for all past due invoices that were sent to us at that time. We were told to scan the checks to them and this will release our accounts. Then that never happened. We were then told...oh no we have to have the checks in hand. We had already mailed the checks, it took them 2 weeks to process the checks and our accounts remained on hold, numerous emails, calls to numerous people have gotten us nowhere. Each person tells us something different. We have been told that our checks never cleared yet when we provided the cleared check info that story changed quickly. Then we were told they cleared but we still owed $67.00 and were then sent to another dept. That dept said that we did not owe $67.00 but we had a credit for that amount. I asked why are all of our accounts on hold when you owe us money? For over 3 weeks now we have gone back and forth and been told different stories by different employees. We are beyond frustrated with Office Depot because this is beyond ridiculous for a large company to be so unorganized and game playing. I do not recommend Office Depot.

Office Depot customer service

To Whom It May Concern:

As a longtime customer of Office Depot, I have always been satisfied by their customer service and diligence; however, on the day of September 21, 2019 I was treated with the upmost worst, ill-mannered, impertinent, impolite, inconsiderate, and thoughtless disregard by employee Alyshia Rego at store #597. On this day, I went to purchase newly designed business cards. I filled out the necessary forms and waited; however, I was ill and feverish, so I asked another employee to disregard the new design and hand me 100 of the old cards. Ms. Rego, having absolutely no say in my business as another employee was taking care of me, had the nerve to say I was being rude to the employee and "fresh". This outrageous comment had me flabbergasted. For an employee to be so disrespectful in a place of service was absolutely insane. For one, I was not arguing with anyone prior and I was very appreciative of the young woman who was helping me at first. As an immigrant of Iranian descent, I could tell that Ms. Rego was being very hostile towards me based on my voice and appearance. As an Immigrant to this country, I have sadly been treated this way before and will absolutely NOT tolerate this. I am a loyal customer, loving citizen of this beautiful country and deserve to be treated with respect just as I will treat others. Ms. Rego's obnoxious and un-excusable behavior towards me has completely ruined my relationship with Office Depot and it is with full sorrow I say that I will no longer be a customer there. Ms. Rego does not deserve to have any job in customer service as she is a nasty, vile and discriminatory person. Her attitude towards me has filled my heart with despair as I finally see this country has digressed into what it once was. To store #597, your lack of judgement in hiring such an incapable person terrifies me and I truly hope you soon come to your senses on handling this employee.

Office Depot dell desktop computer

Im not sure how long its been, but, I was sent a defective computer, that had been lost... Its never worked properly, it becomes unresponsive everytime I attempt to use it.. The photo program is garbage.. And defective.. It has copied my photos 10plus times in a row, then again in other "folders" this computers provenance is an absolute mystery.. To not only me, but the woman that continuously lied to me about where it was and when it would be arriving..{a ms labradore}... Now im evidently stuck with your garbage.. I would like to file a formal complaint reguarding this situation, this computer that barely functions, and that aweful lying woman...

Its hard for me to understand how a company can treat its customers this way... Disgusting

Office Depot hp genuine ink cartridge #602

l Bought all cartridges for an office jet pro 6978. approximately $100 dollars worth of ink. This is the 1st ink change for this printer which also was bought at office depot. Black ink cartridge is defective and will not print. Local store only offered to recycle it. For all the electronics and furniture I have bought from this store, it was like a slap in the face. Since office depot cant stand behind their products, I will just get my supplies elsewhere or online. Ordered new ink cartridge from HP since my son needs it to do his school work.

Office Depot bad customer service

My name is Angela and I do all the ordering for our business and spend a lot of money weekly. I ordered an item, that was advertised on their web site. The item is a desktop bar code reader item number 277483. I ordered 3 of them for the advertised price of $20.99 each. The following day they sent me 3 cables and not the bar code reader. I then called them and complained and they reorder the Item I requested. The next day Again, I received the same 3 cables. I called and spoke to a manager and he assured me that I would receive the Item I ordered. He said there was a mistake on the web with two items having the same item number. He gave me a item number 640432. As of today, I call the manager daily and still have not received my items. I am frustrated and upset with their customer service.

Office Depot info on faxing

i went in to have something fax. was told that i could e mail what i wanted faxed. it was pictures i had printed out at store.to be faxed.
I WAS NOT told that any pictures that you fax weather colored or black and white WOULD NOT SHOW UP CLEAR. when i went back and asked what happen i was told that he did what i asked with is true he faxed them.
what he didnt do was explain to me that faxing pictures would not look the same as what i paid to get fax nor did he say that it was a nother way i could have done this untill i went back to the store to fine out what happened.
i called and talk to a manger and she didnt want to help me just explain that he did what i ask so i hung up .
i am very disapointed in the way i was treated no one tried to compomise me on the 14 someything dollars i spent listing to your employe

Office Depot returns

I have been doing business with Office Depot for many years! I had purchased a new Printer about 8 months ago. Last week I went back to Office Depot to purchase Ink for the new printer, I after buying one kind of ink for several years I picked up and purchased the ink for my old printer. When I returned it the store was out of the Ink I needed. So since I paid with a depit card they said they would have to give me a return card, which they were out of, so they said they would put it on a gift card. When I went back to the store, I was in for a surprise, the card that was supposed to have been for $55.00 dollars was only for $25.00. I was NOT a happy shopper! I had to pay the rest out of my pocket for Ink that I had already paid for. Needless to say if something is not done to my satisfaction to correct this, I will NO longer be doing Business with Office Depot.

Office Depot customer lack of service

At noon, today, Saturday, August 10, 2019, my husband and I went to OFFICE DEPOT to have papers printed for our small business.

We were second in line. An associate was finishing up with a customer and moved him to another register leaving us in line with no associate to serve us. I see an associate of OD finishing up helping with a customer on the floor, he stood around, perhaps on his hand held (across the counter from the line) a young caucasian lady stood in line behind us and TIM, the associate not doing anything walked to her & asked the last customer in line if he could help her. She replied, OH, yes, I just came in to pick up my order, he replied, I can help you. He walked behind the counter and proceeded to leave those of us in the front of the line to continue to wait.
We all entered this facility for a service. We were treated unfairly. Dare I say, those in line were treated with discrimination? Tim made the decision to work the back of the line first, because THATS where the caucasian lady was. Yes, we all spoke up. Tim's response was "shes just here to pick up something printed" Well, we are all here in line for longer than ten minutes for the same service, just to pick up our prints.
The lady totally understood our points. It seemed like Tim was more concerned with her timing then that of others.
Yes, he then left her, helped the older gentleman first, had an associate serve us at another register, and proceeded to comp our prints.
I'm 100% certain this is not the core values of your company. If it is, I will pass on ever returning.
I am bothered by leaving this complaint in this day and age, however, RACISM is still alive and lives within your company.

Office Depot return

I purchased a brand new printer at office Max, when I opened the box it was a different printer than on the box, I called immediately upon my discovery & manager Robin, is telling me to call HP instead of just exchanging my printer for the correct one! I shop at this store on a regular basic and am VERY VERY DISTURBED WITH HOW THIS HAS BEEN HANDLED! I refuse to make any large or important purchases after dealing with this! My company is gonna suffer because of this! I'm going out to purchase another printer elsewhere until this is resolved! This is unexceptionable!

Office Depot fire sticks

Bought a fire stick online to be picked up in an hour, paid with my debit card. Few hours later I received a text message that there was an "issue" with my order and a store manager will call me.
Nobody ever called so I stopped by the store to find out that my order was cancel because they didn't have the item I bought online (showing it was on stock).
The female store manager that had the worst attitude indicated that my money will be refunded in 72 hours, no store credit could be issue to buy another fire stick at the store. NOTHING could be done but to buy another one and just wait for the refund.
Unfortunately I had no choice but to do that. I been an Office Depot customers for over +40 years and is unreal the way things are been handle by office depot and their employees. Shame on you guys, this is so wrong. No customer service at all. VERY VERY UNSATISFIED

Office Depot tech services

David, the manager at the store and the person handling tech services, did not complete the requested service for a laptop of an elderly man I am helping and David is the only person in the store authorized to issue a refund of this service. Kind of an inherent conflict of interest and very unethical. This service was completed in June, 2019.

David was asked to clear out all of the old files on the computer except for the pictures. Instead, he deleted the pictures and left all of the old files. David claimed he backed everything up as requested but this was not requested. David claimed he ran a repair on the computer because it was running slowly. I assessed the computer and updates history indicates that the last time updates were run was 2017.

I spoke to David about this and he refuses to issue a refund, saying he did what was asked.

Thank you for your response. I sent a Twitter message as well and connected with customer service who relayed this message to Carlos, the District Manager for the Costa Mesa, CA store. We are receiving a refund and gift card as a result.

Office Depot ordered $600 printer shipped next day that was never received or updated as to why.

Friday i went into the store to order a hp laserjet pro M501dn but are not sold in stores.
i got it and paid for next day air shipping. Monday comes around and it was not received. so Tuesday i call and they say all they can do is request a call back from the resolutions dept. within 4 hrs. 4hrs rolls around and no call so i call back and then he says he can submit another request but thats all. its Wednesday now and i still have not received a call and it still has not been shipped and nobody can give me an answer to why it hasn't been shipped or give me a contact to find out myself. seemed like there was nothing else to do but cancel the orders and order off amazon.

it is kind of ridiculous that these reps don't have the right tools to help customers out more. all the reps were very nice but this is how you lose customers.

Office Depot lost package /lack of care etc.

I dropped off a package at the store in March 2019 and it is lost . The agent taped on the label since they were out of proper packaging and I would like someone to fix this issue . I also called the 'customer service
number I was given by the store manager and it apparently is only for online orders so much for actually getting any help to resolve any customer service issues.
I seriously hope someone actually gets this issue resolved .

Office Depot coupon refused

As a valued Rewards Customer for the past decade and a public school teacher, I have always had positive shopping experiences with Office Max/Depot.

When the Westgate San Jose branch closed, I went to the Sunnyvale store. Now I go tot the Los Gatos CA store.

Please note that I was not able to use the following Coupon Code [protected] for receiving a free gift if I spend $75. I was very disappointed. Is denying a teacher a freebie really necessary and did I misread the fine print?

The 3 piece organizer was a nice gift to use in my classroom. The scratch off coupon came via email to me and as a teacher and long term Rewards Member, I value the sales and freebies at Office Depot.

After reading the terms listed on the coupon, my new $119 desk clearly qualified for the promotion.

Please note that the staff was unaware of the promotion which ends July 27, 2019.

If a promotion is going, all staff members need to know. I should receive the free gift.

My sales receipt is available if you log into my Rewards account. I do not have a scanner to send it to you.

Again, this is a disappointment that I hope can be corrected. Thank you.

Office Depot continued solicitations sent in spite of repeat requests to stop

I have sent opt out requests to mailoptout@officedepot.com since April of 2018 to make the repeat solicitation mailings stop at our business.
Though I receive the confirmation email that our business address has been removed, you continue to send the exact same piece of junk mail to the same non employee to this date. No idea who this person is, and again, we want no solication mailings of any kind anyway. I am seeking to confirm who in corporate to speak with to make this stop immediately.

Office Depot coupon I received in the mail cannot be redeemed, either in store or online

I received some coupons in the mail; only one interested me: 50% off on bathroom tissue, excluding Charmin and Bounty. When I attempted to redeem the coupon in an Office Depot store, the only tissue available was Charmin. Today, a few hours before the coupon expires, I attempted to redeem it for a case of Cottonelle bathroom tissue online, but was provided with no place to enter the coupon code. When I spoke by live chat with Mandy Gruber, she explained that the coupon was invalid, but did not explain why. Then she offered me a coupon code to purchase the tissue at 20% off, which would be more than I am currently paying for bathroom tissue. This coupon appears to be a scam. Why is it invalid for the purchase I attempted to make, and why was this information not available to Mandy?

I am an educator in the Dallas ISD. I purchased the above listed printer and an ALL IN ONE DESKTOP COMPUTER as well as 2-year warranty packages for both items in September, 2017 from the above listed store. The printer stopped working and needed repairs 8 months ago. I called the store I purchased it from because my receipts were lost when transferring items to another school. I was told by the manager to contact the regional office for my receipts in order to have repairs made or printer replaced. I have been given the run-around for the past 8 months!
I have been placed on hold for an hour with the representative checking every 15 minutes or so to see if I was still holding. I have made at least 15 calls trying to resolve this matter! Each time, I have been promised "call-backs" that never happened. This is ridiculous! I really believe this company is actually trying to use stalling tactics untill my purchased warranties expire in September 2019. I called my bank to have them forward my receipt for proof of purchase from my bank card this morning. I am also forwarding this complaint to the following agencies:

Attorney General's Office
Better Business Bureau

I need this matter resolved and the computer replaced BEFORE my summer vacation is over and I return to my job.

Office Depot hp color laser jet pro mfp m477fny square trade warranty

I purchased Square Trade 2-Year Printer Protection Plan with my printer on 10/04/2017. In April of this year I kept getting Error Code 59F0 and was instructed to turn the printer off and back on. I checked this problem on the internet and found many complaints about this problem. I filed a claim with Square Trade and sent them the required documents. I received a response from them and was informed that I had 3 options. One of the options was that they would send me a check for $379.00 and that it was not necessary to return the printer. I chose that option and was informed they would be mailing a check in approximately 5 days from May 29, 2019. Relying on this information, I purchased a new HP Color Laser Printer $399.99. Today, since the check had not been received, I followed up with Square Trade and was informed that they had no record of their commitment to pay $379.00 and that I had to call their technicians when the old printer was on line.
The reason for this complaint is for you to stop selling this Warranty to business customers, since it is absolutely worthless. I can not be without a printer for an hour and certainly not for more than 2 weeks.

Office Depot products sent to me that I didn't order.

December 8, 2018 I purchased ink cartridges for my fax machine from the lakewood co store. They kept my credit card # on file and entered me into a "subscription" to ship me products every 6 months and charged my credit card. They should not be holding on to a customers credit card info and sending them product. Now I have to make a trip back to the store to return product I never ordered.
What kind of service is this?

Office Depot customer service /billing department

I'm writing this letter to advice you that the office depot in deerfield, florida and your headquarters department is very unprofessional. I returned a printer 3 months ago and because my credit card was replaced your office coulndt honor the refund to my account. My bank spoke to a angel c. Sabio from your billing department who continue to tell us that the refund was processed after numerous time my bank told her that the refund was taking back from office depot on april 5th because they coulnd't locate my account. She finally decided to write a letter to the office in deerfield requesting a refund check which i still have not received. Every time i call the office depot in deerfield they direct me to headquaters and know one can help me with my refund of $192. Im ready to take legal actions im very dissaponted in the way this has been handled even after you have received your printer and no one can give me a answer.
