I receive a message on my phone dated on 24th September, 2017 that says i won a 85, 000 pounds in the ongoing nokia promo.In which my cell number is +[protected] from Nigeria, the message was received at 3:52pm Nigerian time, my payment number is NK115V AND U can send directly tome on my personal mail address (phatdemy@yahoo.com)

I for one who got those craizy smses en they like got me coz I even bouth the one of them called Margaret Van Der Mewe a R 100 airtyme. Pls noika company and MTN act on these. Her number was [protected].

i also got a message says that i had won a prize, from the number +[protected] and his email nokiaclaimsdpt@live.com and now we got to the point which i had to pay for the delivery for the cheque of the prize to my country EGYPT...
please some body help me or nokia staff please help me and contact me to tell me what to do and the truth of that story.

Also received an sms this morning claiming I won R95 000 and a Nokia e65 through the Nokia yearly promotion. Pin number was yx2. and the number to phone was [protected], the contact person was a Mr T Lawrence.

This is BULSHID! SENDING US THESE [censor]IN SMSES EVENTUALLY ONLY TO FIND THAT THIS IS [censor]! I will find them myself these people that are sending me the SMSs telling me that I won 95000. I hate this what you did.

No matter how long it will take for me to find them but when I find them... Everybody will know that I found them. They will regret but they wont get a chance to correct their mistakes

hola quiero informar que el mismo individuo que parece en el reclamo del premio de nokia y que aparece en coca cola, recientemente se a puesto en contacto conmigo hace menos de un mes con el mismo artilugio de que se trataba de un premio por elección de correo electrónico al azar, que había ganado 500.000 libras esterlinas junto a 8 personas mas correspondiente al premio total de 4.800.000 de libras esterlinas premio que otorga la firma por el 162 aniversario de su creación ... y te envían una planilla para llenar y reclamar tu premio, ahora bien lo que no entiendo porque este señor ANDERSON JOSEP MAXWELL, me envió su cédula del reino unido e irlanda del norte escaneada donde aparecen los datos la foto y numero de identificación junto a fecha de nacimiento ... Al principio parecía tan real pero le erro porque hace referencia al 162 aniversario y según la historia de wilkipedia nokia fue creada en 1865 osea que a la fecha da 165 solo en eso se equivoco, porque a la verdad hasta el logotipo de nokia y el resto de los formularios hacen creer de una veracidad impresionante...

If you look at the emblem, its distorted, which means its FAKE! And then if you type in nokiamega.com, which is where you got the email from, you can't get onto it. Which makes it even more obvious that it is a scam. Still think you have proof? I know what I'm talking about when I explained it to you.

I agree with the person above. After being foolish enough to respond to the sms message, they responded with an email asking for my details and with the mention of the promotion being licensed by International Association of Gaming Regualtors (IAGR), I thought I would check up on this and they state on their home page that they DO NOT AFFILIATE WITH ANY COMPANY AWARDING ANY TYPE OF PRIZE OR MONEY. SO...NOKIA HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG! I received the exact same message from the exact same number on the exact same day! Just because it mentions the name Nokia in the text, you automatically assume that this comes from Nokia. In this day and age ANYTHING CAN BE USED TO SUCK YOU IN! It's called a SCAM! Do your research before you start pointing your nasty finger! Oh and unless you have some solid evidence that connects this sms message directly to NOKIA, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL LOSE THE COURT HEARING! Shame on you for even thinking, that a company so big could be foolish enough to take part in any such scam.

I don't get why you're blaming Nokia. All you needed to do was enter in your cell phone number ANYWHERE on the web (heck, not even on the web) and they can send you those annoying texts. You fell for it, it's not the phone's fault.

I just recieved a sms that says i won R95000. My ticket number is E019 and i must contact Mr. William 'my claim agent' on [protected] for my cash prize.

How do they get our numbers? And cant they get someone more intellegent to send the sms? I got the sms at 12 this morning by the way.

My brother works with MTN. So i'll be reporting them seeing as they use MTN numbers.

My brother just received the same sms that says that he has won 95 000 and a cellphone and i called them and a funny man with a nigerian accent answered and said i should buy a R110 airtime for them to activated the pin number they sent to me(yx2) and they refused to give me their details so that i can talk to them physically after that i googled and i found out that they are a scam if nokia doesnt do something about this, they are going to get people thinking that they are also in partners with them coz this thing is still continuing to happen

Knowing this is a scam i never replied. :)

SMS and Email scams are all over. If you received a message saying that u won something before entertaining it check if you joined any raffles or the same, if they ask money from you it surely is a scam...

Got an email back stating I needed to provide more details such as name, tel, country, etc. But if I cannot claim prize personally, I would have to pay for courier fees!
