I am a mother of 4, and have always purchased Nike clothing, shoes, and sports gear for my children, who all play sports. When you signed Kaepernick, I started shopping other brands like Adidas and Under Armour, but if my kids insisted on something Nike, then I would sometimes get it for them. My children are involved in sports in school and outside school, and since you decided to pull the Betsy Ross shoes because a "has-been" athlete whines about it, then you apparently value his opinion over the values of the United States, and over the opinions of many of your customers. I will NO longer be buying anything Nike and I am highly involved in my children's sports team and we will no longer be using anything Nike. I am disgusted in your unpatriotic display by entertaining Kaepernick and by pulling the Betsy Ross shoes.

I've been a purchaser of Nikes for over 30 years. No longer will my family buy your shoes since the company no longer supports fundamental Americana symbols like a Revolutionary American flag. The flag is representative of a movement to seek true freedom from a Monarch which also allowed legal slavery in its day. While America has not been perfect and did allow slavery until our nation struggled in a great Civil war to Emancipate a large portion of our population, we have been moving towards this truth that all people are created equal by God. It's amazing that Nike cannot understand this simple idea and has determined to continue to wade into a PC culture ignoring the majority of red blooded Americans who are not racist at heart but just love our Nations historic symbols. It doesn't mean their hearts are somehow transcendent to a prior time of slave holders ideals. How simple minded are the Nike Execs. Sometimes I wonder if those in high and mighty powerful positions are less intelligent than the average American citizen. Powerful empires and nations have under estimated the American people for centuries. Nike beware...

I buy Nike branded shoes around 12 times per year for myself and my family. We love our country like we loved our Nike shoes. Very satisfied customers.
Until you release Colin Kaepernik, we will no longer purchase your shoes, or your clothes from your outlets.

*The Betsy Ross flag was a symbol for the start of human rights for OUR country, for everyone.
*The Betsy Ross flag was not offensive until Kaepernik said it was offensive.
*Nike, you allowed a man who is no longer an athlete, but an icon for a movement against the American flag who's fight was against police brutality. He could not even stand for the country that would have allowed him to begin a much larger and more effective battle against police brutality.
*You cannot erase history. We need to remember where we came from so that we may keep moving forward. The whole world is watching us. Instead of watching us move forward, they are watching us tear ourselves apart.

Take a stand for America.

We are tired of him disrespecting our country.

I am appalled by your decision to kowtow to the arbitrary and misguided wishes of Mr. Kaepernick that the innocuous Betsy Ross flag is a racist demonstration. This is an outrage and your choice of Mr. Kaepernick as a spokesperson for your company and products is ludicrous!
As a result, my family and I will no longer purchase any Nike products, and will encourage other people to boycott your company until you issue a formal apology to your customers and publicly censure Mr. Kaepernick.

Your use of that POS as a representative of your company is deplorable. He is not complaining about inequality, or social justice. He has no respect for his country or the flag. Obviously the fact that your company allows him to dictate what shoes are sold means you have no respect for this country. I will never buy another Nike product, nor will my children or grandchildren.

Shame on you. My family of 23 will no longer buy your products. You caved to one of your faces that isn't the face of a true American. I have bought Nike products for years and I have spent thousands of dollars. You have lost my business and as I have discussed this issue with others I have found many who feel the same as I. You should be ashamed of not holding to America values. Our flag represents all who live in the US.

Your decision to pull these shoes because of a complaint from one of the country's biggest racists is beyond ridiculous! You have now offended me and my friends beyond any hope of us ever buying Nike again! We are having our golf club remove Nike from our sales shelves and I have thrown my Nike golf shoes in the trash. For years, I have worn and enjoyed Nike products. I thought you were a great American company. Is it not amazing, how Kaepernick never felt so oppressed that he never took a knee when he was playing well. Only after he was benched for poor play, did he began his "pitty party". That was also based on a lie. This is a great nation, but you are no longer a great company!

What is going on in this world? Since when do you collapse over a demand from a loser like Colin Kappernik? Everyone is entitled to their opinions and a lot of times two things can both be right at the same time, but in this case and in his case it's just plain wrong to tie BETSY ROSS and the first hand sewn AMERICAN flag to racism. History, no matter how unsettling some of it was, is a fact and instead of standing tall and asking Americans to learn and move on we are being accused of awful things that are just not true. My friends, all athletes of some kind from golf to Pilates will no longer purchase any of your products. We are no longer a country of the majority but a country of whiny little minority's who somehow can make huge corporations fall to their knees. Enough is enough.

Your decision to cancel the release of sneakers with the 13 star American flag on them because of a complaint by Colin Kappernick (sp?) is reprehensible. Th. ousands of OTHER Americans died for that flag. My family has many service members that fought for the current American flag and they're disgusted at your decision. My family (68 members ) an hopefully our friends have decided to never buy your product again,
Perhaps you should decide not to market your products in the USA. Why don't you and Collin just leave the USA and NEVER come back.

Pulling the Betsy Ross line of shoes is just a show of how one person can influence their opinion to such a degree to affect the outcome of a shoe line! so, ...Colin Kapernicke complained that the shoe line of Betsy Ross flag design shoes represents slavery...? How in the world does that shoe represent slavery? The Betsy Ross design flag represented the Revolutioary War...NOT the Civil War between the state. It represented the War of Independence & the War of Freedom...NOT the War of Slavery ! How little minded you are to be influenced by one person's slanted opinion...especially since he will not stand in respect for our Country's National Anthem ! Shame on you NIKE ! I will never buy any of your shoes in the future ! You just lost one of many customers that you will also lose as well ! Thank you for nothing !

After your stupid decision today about the Betsy Ross shoe, I will burn all my nike gear.

I had decided that when you hired him, I would not buy any of your products. I then heard about the ross shoes and seen some pictures of them and I have to admit I liked their look. Then you pull the shoe because of his statement the flag was during a time of slavery. I am done, I will night speak his name and will not mention your company name or buy anything with the swish or if I find out a product is manufactured by the company with out the swish I will boycott it. I now consider you both enemies of the country.

I would just like to advise you that I think your decision to pull the shoes with the FLAG design on the back of the heel...WAS DISGRACEFUL!

Just as Nike worries about the whiners you should also worry about people that believe America should be celebrated.

Since Nike has removed a product that celebrates America because a bunch of people whined about it I can no longer purchase your products.

My voice might not be as loud as the whiners but my money is just as good. As of this date I will no longer buy any Nike products because I support companies that don't roll over because of a few whiners.

If this whole process was just a publicity stunt it makes Nike look even worse in my eyes.

Enough. I'm done buying your product. I hope Colin Kaepernick can supply you with enough business to make
up for the loss of mine (and many others I know). For years I've listened to Kaepernick griping about how unfair
and horrible our country is. Perhaps there's another place he can live that would provide him with the opportunities

As a long time customer, after today's announcement of removing this shoe I will no longer purchase anything from your company and will encourage others to stop buying also. We should be celebrating our exceptional country ( which allows for diverse opinions without being thrown in jail). Not caving to political whims that truly are a result of not knowing or understanding the sacrifice our founders went through to give these idiots a voice.
Hope more people boycott all your products. I have never seen a large company like yours cave like a little girl. Who was the marketing genius / and does the COO really think this was a good financial decision? JUST DO IT - JUST SELL APPAREL don't need the politics.

Dear Nike Apparel Co. I have been a loyal customer of yours for almost 40 years. I am complaining about the use of a simple consumer good manufacturing company's success as a platform for political posturing has just about fed me up with your brand. I'm a plain person. I'm not trendy. I buy quality, and pay for that quality. I'm a creature of habit. I'm not letting you rubber stamp me as a blind follower of your obvious liberal agenda. I have my own mind. And your foot gear doesn't define me. I know one simple man doesn't mean nothing to your sales analyst projections. Furthermore, y'all may be so rich that you don't care. But, I'm my experience with publicly traded companies. When you can't figure out the new flavor of the month, and you don't have a core base customer to see you through the hard times. Even large companies fail.

Nike is now a disgrace to this country.
Do not buy any products from Nike.
Ask your favorite athletes that are sponsored by Nike to change.
Ask your favorite college programs that are sponsored by Nike to go elsewhere - there are several patriotic options.
Ask your representatives in every state that Nike operates to eliminate any tax breaks associated with Nike.
Nike is done.

How dare Colin Kakernak have any rights telling Nike to remove the Betsy Ross shoe from your company with the American Flag on it? He is such a disgraceful Human Being and I use that term loosley when I speak of him. My Husband is a proud Navy Vet who fought for this country and would have worn them proudly. Don't listen to his garbage.
