Natuzzi - Floor damage following incorrect install of furniture

Natuzzi Charcoal leather sofa

Purchased this item on 6/30/21 for $1719.02 (includes tax and delivery) from Dillards NorthPark Store in Dallas TX. The charcoal leather has yellowed/discolored on middle seat portion. I contacted Natzuzzi for advice but never received a reply. I’m very disturbed that the quality is so low that this could happen to an item used only by 2 seniors with no children or pets ever using it and no spill accidents occurred. And disappointed that the customer service from Natzuzzi was non existent when I reached out for help.

Desired outcome: I want either the directions/products for restoring the original leather color or a refund for a product of such low quality. If not forthcoming or ineffective, I want a refund.

Natuzzi - Poor customer service and misleading reviews

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Being influenced by the 4.8 out of 5 Trustpilot rating, we placed an order paying a deposit. Natuzzi Leather sectional and two recliners

Ordered the above in July for a drop dead date of delivery of October 31. Now they say they do not have the materials, but we cannot cancel since they have our custom order. It is not started but they will not refund our money. The people in the Sarasota Fl store have no authority other than to say they are sorry but we really can't help you at all. We can offer you a loaner exactly why I am not sure but I cannot get a delivery date since the furniture is not in production, then 6 weeks min on the water and then customs. We only know this because we keep checking. They NEVER advised us of anything. HORRIBLE and cannot believe this is how they expect us to accept anything.

Desired outcome: We want our money back and never see this company again.

Natuzzi - Sofa

I purchased a 3 seater and a 2 seater on delivery the 3 seater was not aligning so I was told someone would visit to fix the issue. 2 men came a couple of days later and were not the nicest and they adjusted the feet and said we should have read our book and done that however the delivery drivers that installed hadn't! Natuzzi Sofa

Purchased sofa Sept 21. Reported faults within the year warranty & still e mailing & calling.

Most recently on 23 Aug 23 i sent across an independent furniture report which highlighted the problems with the sofa. I have heard nothing.

I am hoping that using this complaints board will help with resolving the issue. If not i guess i will need legal assistance with progressing this complaint.

Natuzzi sofa

I bought a sofa on finance with natuzzi and the sofa arrived the 28/06/23 and I noticed that the recliner seat of the sofa was slipping and not inline with the rest of the sofa and that also the leather on all sofa was baggy. I contacted natuzzi requesting my sofa be returned and refund issued under the consumers right act 2015 and sales of goods legislation, I was told this couldn’t happen until a technician came and inspected the sofa and confirm any issues. The technician attended and inspected the sofa and determined that part of the sofa had been manufactured faulty. So after this report I requested the sofa be collected and refund issued to be then told that this wouldn’t happen and best they could do would be repair the sofa to factory standards. I explained I have no faith in the company and want the sofa returned as I have been mis-sold the goods as they weren’t to standard promised during sale to be then told this is all they were willing to do.

Natuzzi Corner sofa

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Furniture store

The issue that I have experienced was: A couple of days after receiving our corner sofa from Natuzzi we started to notice that there was a lot of creasing and lumpy. Also all the cushions were of different thickness.

Went back to store who asked us to send photos and they would organise a technician to come out. Technician arrived a week later and agreed the finish was poor. Would go to Edinburgh store and compare.

A week later there was no response so phone store manager who said that the technician thought sofa was comparable with store one and no further action required.

I asked for area managers contact which was received and for a copy of report to see if it matched our recording of the visit and this has not been received.

E mailed area manager three times with photos of both our and shop sofa to compare and he has never bothered to reply.

It occurred on: 12/05/2023

This meant that Very frustrated at total lack of communication from anyone at Natuzzi. No phone calls, e-mails. NOTHING.

Now starting to get depressed and affecting our health with the stress.

Want suite taken away and a full refund as well as an apology.

I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.

Keep at it, these guys are total bandits. I've had the same experience with a faulty product the store in Brent Cross London are refusing to acknowledge as a manufacturing fault. The guys who eventually took the call resorted to shouting at me and hung up when he was challenged on incorrect information that he had been passed by his colleague. I'm going to head down there in person and see what can come of it and have already started legal proceedings. You're not alone.

Hold up, are you actually suggesting a situation regarding your sofa is causing depression and effecting your health? I think you need to wise up and get a life. Take a walk around your local children’s cancer unit, or perhaps speak to a family dealing with loss or someone who has received a terminal diagnosis.

Your sofa is nothing in the grand scale of life.

Natuzzi Natuzzi editions leather 3 seater powered sectional recliner

Restuffing needed back and seats internal support systems failed causing a sinking seat deck and back On NATUZZI Editions Leather 3 seater powered sectional recliner see photos

We have had NATUZZI sofas for many years they held shape fine

On July 26 2020 we purchased a NATUZZI Editions Leather 3 seater powered sectional recliner from ARIZONA LEATHER Scottsdale AZ. Invoice attached

Delivered Aug 7, 2020 prior to our move in. We could easily see that the sectional was not correct appeared to sections not part of the full set. See photos.

We called Arizona Leather to report the issue along with photos but they insisted NO returns BUT they would send a service guy out to evaluate. This guy pounded, beat the leather, forced alignment, heated with hairdryer smashed the foam filling. Still Did not look like the floor model.

Photo of sectional used only by 2 adults in house, not heavy people, sit on sectional 4 hours in evening to watch movies.

Desired outcome: WANT REPLACEMENT CORES FOR SEAT AND BACK

for this price should not have failed

Technician's Report: Upon visit found sofa has collapsing seat cores and backrest cores. The sofa is structural sound and wood/straps are intact and tight. Customer would need to order from the Furniture Store\Manufacture a New Seat Cores and Back Rest Cores, once customer has all Cores onsite I can return and do the installation. Natuzzi Refunds

We had ordered our Sofa and Dining Table/Chair from Natuzzi and this was delivered to us on 24/March/2023. When sofa was delivered we felt this was smaller to our expectation and so we made an impulse decision to order another sectional of similar sofa type that would help us to extend our sofa further. Natuzzi Glasgow promptly asked for a deposit which we paid over the phone and after this they sent us an invoice and confirmation form to sign for the same. We however did not send the confirmation form since we were having doubts about the size of the sectional sofa and therefore wanted some time to review our decision. On 27th March 2023, I emailed Natuzzi office confirming that we are not going ahead with our order as the new sectional sofa might extend our sofa to a greater extend than our expectation and space. Natuzzi Glasgow acknowledged our request to cancel but advised us that they would need to speak with Head office about this cancellation before they can confirm. On 4th April, we received a call from Natuzzi Glasgow and they confirmed that our request for cancellation has been approved by their Head Office and they would like us to send the bank details to process the refund. I promptly followed with email sending all the necessary bank details and on the same day Natuzzi Glasgow confirmed that they had forwarded those details to the Head office for the refund. On 14th April I emailed Natuzzi requesting an update on my refund and they asked me to wait for 10 working days. I sent another update request on 27th April requesting an update since it was much more than 10 working days and on 28th April I received an email from Glasgow office stating that they had emailed Head office chasing on my refund request. Still at this point there was no communication or money sent by Natuzzi head office into my account or even acknowledgement of my request that it is under process. I have sent another email chasing my refund but I get the same response stating that they have forwarded my email to Head office about my refund. Natuzzi have clearly violated their contract by taking money from me for an item they have never processed and also not refunded my money on time or provided any update on when or how long it will take for money to be returned.

Desired outcome: Natuzzi MUST refund me the entire deposit and in addition also pay atleast £100 as inconvenience they have caused

Natuzzi Leather sofa

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. We paid approximately $20,000 for a leather sofa over three years ago. They told us we had a lifetime warranty. Within two years after our purchase, part of the sofa began peeling off, resembling cheap vinyl. We recently brought it to their attention and it took them months to schedule a service appointment. They would not come to our house for free but required $275 which we paid. A lady over the phone said they would probably come to the house with leather paint matching the sofa and take care of the problem. The repairman showed up a short while ago without any leather paint, said there was nothing he could do to fix the problem, and walked out. We complained to customer service but they never responded.

Desired outcome: Give us all our money back.

Natuzzi Natuzzi Leather Sofa

We recently purchased( October 2023) a Natuzzi Sofa, after two weeks we started noticing sagging in the Leather. We purchased our Sofa from Baer Furniture in Jacksonville Fl. Bare refuses to accept responsibility for their defective product. We also tried to contact Natuzzi with no response.

We purchased the Sofa for eight thousand dollars. The consumer should have rights. They basically sold us garbage.

Both companies are horrible.

They take no pride in customer satisfaction.

Natuzzi New sofa

We recently purchased a Natuzzi Sofa from Baer furniture. Two weeks after delivery we noticed the leather cupping and sagging. We've contacted both Baer Furniture and Natuzzi numerous times about this issue. Baer sent a repairman out after waiting for weeks now the problem is worse than before. Apparently the leather was cut too big. Terrible quality snd customer service from both businesses. We spent Eight thousand dollars on defective junk.

Natuzzi Repair / faulty battery pack replacement

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to make a complaint.

I have purchased Ilia recliner chair in Nattuzi Edinburgh store, order No 51439. Chair was delivered in April 2022. In July 2022 recliner stopped working and I have contacted the store manager who arranged technician to come to our home to investigate the problem. Technician discovered that battery pack had a dent because it was loose and wasn't secured inside of chair. Technician said that new battery pack will be ordered straight away and should be delivered and installed within 8 weeks.

3.5 month past since technician visit and we are still waiting for battery pack replacement. I have been in the store 3 times speaking to manager and every time have been told that the part will arrive soon.

Could you please help to resolve the issue.

Natuzzi Shocking customer service, late delivery and lying staff!

We purchased a suite from our local Natuzzi store in May and advised, by the Manager, we would have delivery, August, at latest 1st week in September. We expressed our concerns about friends' recent experiences with other companies with the same issue, to which we were assured the beginning of September would be the very latest we would receive our suite.

When we hadn't heard anything at the start of September, we called to be told it was still September and they weren't late as yet with the delivery and their system was saying it should be in by end of September. We explained what we were told about August, early September delivery, to be told by the person on the phone, it wasn't him that told us that, but they were still in their timeline as it was still September and things could change and it might still come in before then.

We called again a week later for any updates before we went on holiday, to be told nothing had changed it was still saying end of September for delivery to them. We expressed our disappointment at this delay and the lack of communication from them.

My husband called again when we returned from holiday last week to be told it was still saying end of September, they should receive it. We weren't happy with this and asked him to chase our suite up from the supplier as it was now nearly the end of September. He advised he would contact the supplier and would get back to us within a few days. After 5 days we still hadn't heard back from them, so decided to go back into the store. We spoke to the salesman that we had spoken to on the phone who at 1st denied speaking to myself on the phone and claimed to have only spoken to my husband! We asked why after 5 days we hadn't heard back from him, to which he said I've been off and just back! Even though he was the one who said to give him a few days and he would get back to us! He then said he hadn't got back to us yet as he didn't have any update. We explained it would still have been courteous to have called and explained he was still awaiting any update. When in the store he then checked again, and the date had now changed to 15th October for them to supposedly receive delivery which would now mean it would be nearer November before we received it. We again explained how disappointed we were with the now very late delivery and the lack of communication from them and advised we would like to cancel our suite and receive our deposit back so we could go elsewhere. We were told by the salesman he couldn't do that, but he would speak to his Head Office.

I was left a voicemail on my mobile by a Regional Manager on Tuesday, even though it was my husband's name and number we had left with the salesman for contact as I was back at work! To be told we couldn't cancel and the T's & C's state every effort is made to ensure approximate delivery date is accurate, but things can be delayed due to issues with parts, materiel etc. This delay must be accepted as this is outwith their control! My husband has now called 3 times and left messages with his colleagues and asked for a call back, but he has yet to receive one.

The staff have all lied in regard to the contact we have had with them and when we asked to cancel the order, this includes a member of staff at their Head Office who has also accused of lying after only speaking to the shop staff

Natuzzi Natuzzi product and poor service

We would like to draw your attention to the low quality of service by NATUZZI under the service dated - 07 March 2022.

We have been entirely unsatisfied with the provision of the poor service and much disappointment.

As summary, we are formally notifying you the following issues in writing:

1. On 07th March 2022 We made purchase at NATUZZI ITALIA, Haifa, Israel –- 2 sofas – PORTENO (1st sofa 3 seats with 2 electric recliners, 2nd sofa with 2 seats) – TOTAL AMOUNT OF NIS 50,000 (15,000 Euro).

We got promise that production and transportation time will not take longer then 4 months (maximum).

2. On 7th June 2022 (3 months later) after we did not get any news from NATUZZI, we made a contact and asked the sale representative to check what is the status of our order as 3 months already gone. the representative promised to revert with update or expected arrival day of our order.

2 days after, on 8th June 2022 I got SMS message which say that our order expected to arrive NOT before middle of August 2022. No explanation was given, and no further communication had with

NATUZZI Haifa – despite several attempts from our side.

3. On 10th August 2022 we got another SMS message which say that our order arrive in Israel and NATUZZI Israel (KAUFMAN GROUP LTD ) will contact us in order to coordinate delivery of our order.

4. On 16th August 2022 NATUZZI Israel coordinate delivery

5. On 18th August delivery arrived in our place.- after almost 6 months!

6. Immediate after installing the sofa we notice to color differences in 1 of the sofa, also 1 electric recliner cable is missing. (We got only 1 fit cable).

7. We inform the delivery guy on the problem and the same was mentioned on the delivery form as well.

We also contact immediate to NATUZZI Haifa and they promised that someone from NATUZZI Israel (KAUFMAN GROUP LTD ) will make contact soon in order to solve the problems.

8. As from 18th Aug 2022 till today (22nd Aug 22) we are waiting to get any reply / assistance / support without any successes despite several phone calls to NATUZZI Haifa as well as NATUZZI Israel (KAUFMAN GROUP LTD).

Enclosed are copies of invoices and pictures concerning this purchase.

In relation to the poor service, KAUFMAN GROUP LTD as exclusive franchiser do NOT meet the basic standards as required by the contract, which has cause us damage and lots of frustration.

We look forward to your reply on how you NATUZZI ITALIA get these issues resolved within reasonable time.

Natuzzi Poor quality of my product

We bought a NATUZZI sofa and seat form El Corte Ingles en Alicante.

What a disappointment. After waiting for the delivery, we noticed shortly after that the foam used is very poor quality. On both the sofa and the seat are deep dents, and we have hardly used them yet! We where told they use memory foam.

[censored]. Also the finish is very poor. We will never buy anything from NATUZZI again and do not recommend it!

Here is a follow up from our disaster with Natuzzi. After our complains with El Corte Ingles Alicante, where we bought the sofa and seat, a technician came to check it out. He told us that indeed, the work was not well done, but that the foam was not the only culprit, Natuzzi did not put enough material under the leather, was his consensus. He took pictures, and told us it would be fixed by himself. He needed to make a file, to get the money for repairs from Natuzzi I guess, and left. This was one month ago, never heard back. Our sofa has, after 3 month , indents in the cushions , but the seat is in even worse shape. We are 2 older people, no kids, dogs etc. very careful with our stuff. This is really ridicules. We have a diner set from Rolf Benz, Germany. In perfect condition after years of use. No dents, beautifully finished.

Dont understand how a company like Natuzzi can survive with this standard of work. And no service! They should have changed the whole set immediately and stand behind their (lousy) products.

I agree with the above review. We also purchased a sofa and love seat and also have deep indents where we sit after using for 3 months. Our furniture arrived in June of 2021 and we noticed the indentations within the first 3 months. Contacted the furniture store who passes us onto Natuzzi Cares site to set up an appointment for a technician to come to our home to check it out. First appointment was a "no show" after waiting all day. 2nd time technician came, tried to smooth out the indents and was unsuccessful. He said he would recommend cushion replacement, but said he thought it would probably do the same thing again. Natuzzi contacted us and said it was "normal" wear and they weren't going to do anything about it. The foam is obviously a poor quality and because it doesn't maintain its shape, the leather stretches. Our less than a year old love seat looks like it is 8 - 10 years old. I would never recommend Natuzzi products to anyone unless you don't mind paying a LOT of money for an inferior product.

Natuzzi I feel that we have been treated unfairly by your Manchester Trafford Centre

In September 2019. We purchased a suite which is a recliner on both the chair and sofa. Within a few months, we had a problem with the lower part of the recliner on the right-hand side of the sofa. The pad had dropped and it looked like the stuffing had collapsed. The engineer came out and ended up putting a strengthen on the underside of the recliner to keep up the stuffing and recliner. The lower recliner has aging failed and the strengthen the engineer put on to the underside has now come away and the stuffing and recliner part has dropped. also the strengthen keeps getting caught in when trying to operate the recliner. I called the shop in trafford center from where we purchased the suite from. I was told by the ladie whos name I did not get that we had a 5 year cover on the suite and she would start the claim and I was to send over images of the problem. My husband sent over the images to the email address. We received an email back to say that the suite was not under warranty and that there was nothing that they could do for us. My husband emailed back to say that we had spoken to the store the previous day and had been told we had a 5 year warranty on the suite. The reply was that it is up to us to contact the engineers and get the suite repaired. and there is nothing that they can do. We purchased the suite from you for the quality of your furniture. We expected it to last longer than 3 years, as the fault had accrued after only a few months of purchase, Had we known then that we would be treated this way we have we would not have accepted a repaire and would have requested a replacement suite. We feel that as the fault has occurred again, then we should not have to have the repair sorted out by ourselves. We feel very let down by your company.
