A while ago I must have subscribed to this company for online sewing. Have been unwell off and on since Covid and not checking the account that payment was made from as I should have. When I noticed my account was showing only a few cents I checked and found that I was being charged via automatic renewal the sum of 76.33 cents . Last renewal was June 27 I believe.

Emailed them and was told that I had agreed to automatic renewal, but when I asked for how long ago (Hardly use the email and did not notice any renewal info) she repeatedly would not answer my questions.

Then I was told that it would be refunded and it would take 2-3 days. She went off without answering my question .

Some minutes later I received an email say that as of the first of June they no longer give refunds. This just stinks, so I want to know if they are refunding me or not.

I received an email from my card holder saying there was possible suspicious activity on my card account. I checked with my card holder and verified that the charge was fraudulent.

this morning 06/05/2022 an amount of $97.33 was taken from my account by PayPal to be paid to the National Sewing circle. I have already cancelled this account as of last year.

My name is Susan Green. I live at 103 Albert street Taree NSW Australia. I would like a refund please.

The number showing on the transaction is C1855-2087.

This company, (re) enrolled my credit card without my knowledge and or without any type of invoice or notification leading up to transaction date(s).
I wouldn't have caught this if I did not check my banking as they performed several transactions and a amendment amount.

I found it it was the national sewing circle. I called their customer support advised from my banking institution. Nsc rep said, no problem they will refund, than said they couldn't as my card is declining the refund?!? I asked for the reference # to our conversation.

It is at this time sam ncr csr) offered me a reduced registration fee (go up sale opportunity-not). If I was interested in a renewal it would be at a greatly discounted price and she would refund me the difference!?! - did you not just finish telling me you couldn't authorize the refund.

Sam (nsc rep) said I had to call my bank, and it was my bank that has to ask for refund? A whole lotta cow dung here

I have since lodge my complaint/dispute/unauthorized fraud to my bank.
Their conduct reminds of the fitness membership unlawful renewals years after the fact

My elderly mother utilised National Sewing Circle in 2018. Debits went out originally for 2 small amounts in 27/9/18, being $7.90 & $ 18.51 which I believe was where my mother bought 2 items.

But then looking at historic statements I can see that the following amounts were debited as ongoing annual renewal amounts that were not authorised.

17/9/20 AUD 177.22
17/9/19 AUD 156.23

TOTAL AUD 509.85

A part refund has been processed for 17/7/21, but not for previous unauthorized debits.

Records will show no access has been made to National Sewing Circle, yet these annual debits repeated.

I was charged on 25/10/2021 for a yearly membership I did not requested.
I received no notification they were going to charge my card, no details, nothing telling me they are going to charge me a hefty amount for the yearly membership.
It has been more than a year since I haven't even touched my account, and forgot about it entirely.
I have e mailed the customer service email, I am just desperately trying to get my money back by writing this complaint.

I used the code to subscribe to the ongoing annual membership offer for $2, which i paid for.

However, they upgraded me to gold membership for additional 11 dollars! I definitely did not ask for this upgrade and i want my money back to my account!

I dod not ask for the upgrade and i did not authorise debit of 11 dollars from my card! I need that gold upgrade canceled immediately amd a full refund back to my card!

Refund my money immediately or i will be forced to launch a big campaign against your company and have my bank block you out from their server and mark you as scammers!

I was charged 59.99 on 7/11/2021 for a yearly membership I did not want. It sent me no notification they were going to charge my card, no details, nothing telling me they are going to charged me a hefty amount for a sewing membership. I tried to cancel my membership in January of 2021, and it then notified me that I had on the page, but I never received an email. I am not sure if they email you about your cancellation, but nonetheless, it did not formally say that I have cancelled it. I wish for a refund as soon as possible, it has only been two days since I have been charged, and I am willing to give up all the premium membership things, I would just like my sixty dollars back. I have emailed the customer service email, I am just desperately trying to get my money back by writing this complaint. It has been months since I have even touched my account, and forgot about it entirely until January. I tried to cancel it, and then it does not notify me they will charge my card.

I was automatically billed $59.00 for a subscrition I do not want. This was done without my knowledge. I f I knew my subscription was up I would have cancelled. I was not informed of automatic renewal. I personally believe that automatic renewal without any type of information or notification is wrong. Mine is not the first complaint of this kind against this company. Please review prior complaints.

They tried to charge $60 something on my wife's account and she didn't buy anything from them

I wish to cancel my renew option from the National Sewing and the National Quilting websites and am unable to get through to either of them on the phone. I live in the UK and the shipping is too expensive for me from the States and you are unable to purchase only downloads of any of the courses you provide.

I was charged 45.00 on my Visa card in us funds which came out to 61.83 in Canadian funds. I have not ordered anything nor signed up for any memberships! Could someone please inform me why I am being charged this amount! I have informed CIBC Visa and has been asked to contact you first and if I do not get a reply or nothing is been resolved they will investigate this problem.

I have a charge of $45.00 on my credit card statement and I did not order anything. It was billed to my account on 3/18/2019, under PP Natonal Sewing Circle. I would appreciate your looking into this. I did not authorize this charge.
